The Lion

We had a gin drink and a beer. I marked 5 on food since there was no other option. My pea flower infused gin was excellent and the Bells Two Hearted o tap was great. Sometimes beer on tap is not good, but this one was. I loved the atmosphere, music, staff and clientele! VERY LIMITED food menu- mostly sandwiches- but this establishment does not profess to be a restaurant. It is more of a craft cocktail bar.

I LOVE THE LION‼️ i was in pittsburgh for a week trip, and after i came in for one of their infusions, there was no where else i wanted to be! there's a wide variety of infusion cocktails which are always coming and going with new delicious flavors. Jason, Rich, and Annalise were wonderful-- attentive, charming, and AMAZING!!! they had their own memorable style which shined in each of the various infusion options. i really loved Rich's style. i seriously cant recommend this place enough. i loved the pineapple serrano rum and the strawberry thyme brandy! The Lion will always have a great record on to match the nights energy, and everytime i was in, they'd have a great film playing too. this place is great to go to solo! the staff make for great conversation and the regulars make you feel at home. come with friends and hang out on the porch or inside in the lounge lighting. i hate being back in Florida because The Lion isnt just a street away anymore!!! unfair!!!! blasphemous!!! trust me, you'll love it. thank you guys for the best time, the best drinks, and the best energy. i can't wait to come back! 🤍

A must-visit. The vibes here are immaculate. The bartenders are SO friendly! Conrad made custom cocktails for our group that we couldn't stop talking about--I'd never heard of a New York Sour but that'll be a go to for me in the future. The lounge areas are comfortable and clean, the decor is lovely, and they play music from a huge vinyl collection instead of just pumping songs through speakers. We found this place on a quick Google and were thrilled!

The Lion Bar is a stylish and welcoming place with a lot of character. Jason and his team run it with great energy and attention to detail. The atmosphere feels sophisticated yet warm, and the lighting and music create an inviting vibe. I celebrated my 40th birthday there and had an incredible experience. We had two private rooms, the food was excellent, and the staff made sure everything went smoothly. The bar has a balanced mix of locals and visitors, and it is the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good company, and feel at home. If you are nearby or visiting, I highly recommend stopping by. The Lion Bar delivers a great time with the right mix of style, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

Great bar. The "dealer's choice" cocktails where you pick the infused spirit and the bartender makes the drink are excellent. They really have talent for making cocktails that bring out the best aspects of each spirit. Friendly staff, great vibe, good music, open late.

Came across The Lion and highly recommend. Our server was super nice and made me a wonderful vodka drink with her choice of ingredients. Best drink I ever had! Can't wait to go back here again.

LOVE this bar! Discovered it back when it was named Leo and this new rendition has given the place a nice set of paint, an extended menu, while retaining all of the same charm that made coming here so special. The bartenders do an excellent at creating a homely atmosphere and the drinks they make are delicious! I hope to keep coming back for a very long time.

We loved it! Bartender was talented! You tell him the booze and he made a drink. I must have tried so many and I wasn't disappointed with any of them. Flavors and combos were outstanding! Bartender had awesome stories. Amazing vibes and delicious drinks.

Cool spot with good drinks in the North side but on a quiet back street. The bartenders were very nice and quick to wait on you. We were lucky enough to be there the weekend they had the pastrami sandwich and it was one of the best we have ever had! It's a must try.

Our drinks were phenomenal!!! However, we weren't even served our drinks before the NOT bartender (whoever she was and in whatever capacity she served other than to change the vinyl records) asked how it was that we would be paying - abruptly - and requested a card. So, as great as the drinks were, we probably won't be back. I don't take kindly to being treated as a "cut and run" customer - even before being served!
