SPORTS CENTER TOP 10! I grabbed breakfast here with a friend of mine and we were both impressed. I had the pancakes with fried eggs and turkey sausage. It was very good. The coffee was great as well. Great food! Pretty aesthetic! I came for the fried plantains and was pleasantly surprised with the ube pancakes 🥞:) 10/10 i will come back for brunch with the girlies!

Very good experience! The food was great - perfectly prepared, and super tasty. The highlight was absolutely the empanadas. Cannot recommend them enough. The breakfast bowls were also great, and my iced mocha was well made and delicious. Will definitely be going back!

Let me just say — The Liquor Store on Mendenhall in Memphis is IT! Hands down, no lies, the food was seasoned to perfection and absolutely delicious. Worth every bit of the 20-minute wait. My gosh… I should’ve been coming here a long time ago! Our server, Elise (forgive me if I spelled it wrong), was amazing. She makes these incredible jams and fresh fruit mixes for mimosas that are on another level. The mimosa bottle with your choice of flavors for just $28? You can’t beat it! She really did her thing and gave top-tier hospitality. We were chatting with a staff member, told them to please thank whoever was in that kitchen for blessing us with such good food — turns out, that “staff member” was the general manager! He was such a sweet gentleman, genuinely making sure every customer received the best service possible. You can tell he cares about his team and the experience they give. I literally texted every family member and my sorority sisters before I even left so we can all come back in two weeks. If you’re in Memphis, you have to come here for great beverages, amazing food, and unbeatable customer service. 10/10 — can’t wait to return!

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and I really love pancakes. The pancakes here do not disappoint! They are huge and yummy. Served with ample butter and syrup. Their vanilla latte goes well with the pancakes. Not only do they have great food - the have great people working there! Caleb was our server, and he was wonderful. Just the right amount of attentive and personable. We had ordered an extra pancake that we could not eat, and he boxed it up for my mother to enjoy the next day. He even included syrup as he knew she was in assisted living and didn’t have syrup in her apt! I believe Calvin is the manager. It was raining when we got there, and mama is in a wheelchair. He came outside to help us get in the door. Sooo kind! His attitude is contagious with his staff. If you want breakfast (or lunch) this is your place!!

The grits were soupy, like water was added later and they were bitter instead of savory. The eggs seemed to be reheated like they had been sitting. The toast wasn’t host. The best things were the bacon and part of the pancake I could taste that my daughter ordered. The automatic 20% gratuity that sent my bill from $72 to $91+ dollars, the food wasn’t worth it! Our server tho’ was a gem. I’m not sure I will visit again. I’m a foodie and I love to eat. First impressions are BIG for me. I’m still tasting my food and not in a good way 4 hours later 😩🤷🏾‍♀️✌🏾!

I had to write a review because of the excellent service I received at The Liquor Store - Mendenhall location. I came in on a Saturday to do some work on my laptop and ordered coffee and food from the coffee bar. My server, Raven, was so kind and helped me figure out what I wanted to order. In addition to my coffee order (Cubano Con Leche), she gave me water to fill up my Stanley cup. I also ordered the Cubano Chicken Burrito (no pictures because it was devoured) and it was delicious. The manager, Calvin came to check on us as well while we worked and I was able to give him compliments on the service in person. If you are looking for a brunch spot, a remote work location, or just a coffee spot.... The Liquor Store has all of it in one. It's such a vibe - the atmosphere, food, and service is SO GOOD. I will probably be back every Saturday now. LOL - Thank you so much The Liquor Store!

It was our first time eating here. I had the breakfast bowl with pork sausage and a white chocolate latte. The bowl was very good. I would have liked a little more of the poblano crema and sauteed peppers. The latte was wonderful. It wasn't too sweet but had good flavor. My husband had the Ube sweet potato pancakes with berry sauce. It came with 2 eggs and a protein of choice. He had turkey sausage. His drink was a chai tea latte. All of the food was very good. I would almost say exceptional. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
