The 14 Best Restaurants At San Francisco International Airport - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The burritos in San Francisco are some of the best in the country, and even the ones at the airport are better than the sad excuses you’ll see elsewhere. Grab one from The Little Chihuahua because eating one will help you momentarily forget you’re headed to your sixth conference of the year. Will this burrito match the one you got at El Farolito at 2am? No, but it will set you up for a three-hour plane nap. They also have tacos, tostada salads, and tortilla soup." - julia chen 1, lani conway, ricky rodriguez

Service was pretty quick and was friendly enough. The store is attractive and has an effective layout. I appreciated the soy chorizo vegetarian protein availability. My burrito was fairly tasty; the heat level was not painful but IMO a bit too much, blunting my enjoyment of the other flavors. I know airport prices are high but these prices seemed exorbitant even in this setting.

The Little Chihuahua is a small Mexican restaurant with a bar and the tacos are acceptable, but $16 for two tacos? That’s a little excessive. I’ve never had anything at the bar, but I am afraid to even ask how much things are there. If you are craving Mexican food and have time to kill, I suppose it’s OK but be prepared to spend airport prices for food that is just decent.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had an amazing experience at The Little Chihuahua at SFO! The chicken burrito was incredible—definitely the best I've had in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially for an airport restaurant. The prices were what you’d expect for an airport, but totally worth it. The service was top-notch, with a super friendly and nice cashier. The wait time was a bit long, but the burrito more than made up for it. Located conveniently right next to Gate B6, I don’t understand the bad reviews at all. I was very pleased with everything. Oh, and the burrito itself was HUGE! In my opinion, they blow Chipotle out of the water—10x better flavor and quality. Highly recommend!

Great service and good food. I got the carnitas tacos and chips and guacamole. It was definitely expensive (tacos being $16 and the chips and guac being $11), but as far as food goes at SFO I would say the price was expected.

I ordered a soy chorizo salad and unfortunately they put on chicken instead—by the time I found out, I was at my gate and couldn’t go back. (I verified on my receipt that the order went through correctly.) This is a pretty serious quality control issue, and as a vegetarian makes me less inclined to eat there. Would be worse for someone with an allergy or sensitivity. Please improve your accuracy in filling orders!

I only liked the chicken tacos and the rice… the rest of the food wasn’t bad. I little pricey for the amount of food that they serve.

$18 for two bad quality tacos is a bad deal

Eaten here twice. More limited options as the TLCs in SF and more expensive than in SF, but they have their amazing plantains (which I think is a newer option here but a classic option in the SF locations). Doing no meat and adding plantains makes for a delicious vegetarian burrito, even if more expensive and not quite as high caliber as the specialty plantain burrito in the SF locations that has more extras plus their salsa bar. I'd recommend the airport location even with the higher prices and more limited menu, but even better if you can make it to one of the locations in SF (I always eat there as many times as I can during visits).
