Google
The Little Gay Pub in Logan Circle is a relatively new bar in this up and coming gay are in DC. We stopped in for drinks one afternoon while visit DC for World Pride. We found the bar to be fun an festive. There is a large outside patio area that is open air and also covered. The inside is very nicely decorated and there is lots of seating. The bartenders were friendly and mixed up a nice strong drink. The only bad thing I can say about this bar is the prices of drinks. I found the prices to be on the very high end.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit LGBTQ+ Gem in DC! Little Gay Pub is everything you want in a neighborhood spot — cozy, welcoming, and always a good time. I’ve known the owner and bartenders for years, and they’ve built something really special here. The vibe is always on point, the crowd is friendly, and the drinks? Impeccable. Do not leave without trying their espresso martini — it’s easily one of the best in the city. Whether you’re popping in for a chill night out or kicking off a bigger adventure, this place hits the mark every time. Support local, support queer-owned — and most importantly, support great drinks 🥂

The bar is much, much nicer than what appears in their photos or on the social medias. The bartenders were incredible and the decoration was very beautiful. I RECOMMEND

Alec, if that is the correct name provided, at the front door treated our group inappropriately when we tried to enjoy the little gay pub establishment. He didn't even talk to us deny us entry based on our two female friends that are visiting and part of the community. He did not ask any questions or even check our IDs. This type of service leading into world pride is exclusive and shows the values of the establishment. I would expect more from a place who advertises to be a place of inclusiveness.

Google
Not necessarily the bar's fault, but the clientele is your basic, neoliberal white DC gay crowd...aka "if Kamala were president now we'd be at brunch" type gays that were just obnoxious and annoying to be around. Then again, most white DC gay bars are like that. Staff were nice, though.

Had a great time with some friends! The bartenders were so nice, and it just felt so welcoming there! We ordered an aperol spritz, unicorn tears and a high noon for drinks. The empanadas were tasty, and they even brought out some free goldfish and cheeze it’s! Will definitely be back soon!

Finally got a chance to try out this place. So I would say the place is really cute and has nice seating outside! The variation in drinks is also great as well as the ‘bar’ food. I also loved the painting and frames on the wall. Additional the bathroom was so clean and even though it’s just 2 of them…I would rather have a clean bathroom than a nasty one with everyone possibly g everywhere. Some of the guys were in line complaining all night that they would prefer a long stall etc etc. they didn’t care that other folks came to the pub and would prefer a bit more privacy. Now if you are looking for a bit more diversity, this is not the place for you. It isn’t the bars fault who comes but just know it is the 99.9% white gays of DC type of vibe and just by listening you can tell it isn’t the best of the best. The inside is a bit small so beware of the wait lines and then being crammed inside. All in all I would definitely recommend this bar for the summer time or when it’s warmer to be on the outside seating.

Unfortunately, did not experience the best service. But didn’t expect the best unfortunately being a person of color. I hope that they do better in the future

Yelp
Great music, staff, and atmosphere. Discovered the owner (who was there) was someone we all knew from a previous bar, and the festivities commenced! Good bar food, great music, and excellent people-watching. I intend to make this a regular stop and so should you.

Yelp
A friendly neighbor bar with a lively atmosphere. It can get crowded. There are several areas inside and outside for to meet up with friends or make new friends.

Yelp
The little gay pub is truly a unique experience and overall hidden local gem. While visiting the area my friends luckily live a block away from the pub and after dipping in for a quick drink, the pub quickly became a 'last Stop' before each day ended. Coming from the interior design back ground, I was not only inspired by the unique space. I've honestly had to give the designer of the space a bit of kudos for not over saturating the space design. Small details found through the pub really brings in the entire space and while discovering these small details, I'm sure I looked like a crazy person as I was staring at this squirrel, wall paper, and all the details taken into creating this space. Yet whatever, I'm an artist in space design and have a eye for small details. Drinks were amazing and staff are friendly. Patrons can be a bit much with their 'Gay Cattiness's' yet I've personally have learned to ignore these flaws in our community and rack up to the drinks being poured and not being apart of a 'Click'. Which I'm digressing for the subject matter, yet love the pub.....Overall the experience is fantastic and it's tradition to take a selfie and discover the hidden gem within the bathroom. Outdoor space is spacious with bench seating and really enjoyed the heaters built into the picnic tables. Totally took this design and recreated this for a recent project. Best of luck to the owners on your adventure and looking forward to my next visits.

Yelp
We randomly come across The Little Gay Pub, and I have to say that we had a great time. First, I was very surprised that the pub was so packed on an early Sunday afternoon. I guess this mean it's the place to be on a Sunday afternoon. If you are not a fan of tight spaces (like me), this might not be the place for you. We were lucky enough to get a couple of seats at the bar - #PHEW. However, the pub does have some outdoor seating. The pub has a few specialty beverage which you might wanna try. At 1st, I thought the cocktails might have been overpriced at 15 bucks, but I realized that the drinks are double-sized. The pub's clientele seemed to be friendly, and somewhat racially diverse. The bartender (a Black woman) was absolutely amazing - probably one of the best bartenders in the city. Although the bar was jammed packed, we rarely had to wait for our next rounds. I had to LOL because I did not understand why the line for the bathroom was always so long because I thought guys were supposed pee fast. After seeing the pub's IG page, the long lines made sense. From the pub's IG page, a lot of folks take plenty of mirror selfies. I guess the bathroom line was long because some folks were trying to get that perfect pose. ;) If none of this has piqued your interest, pub's menu includes Dino Bites!!!!

The service is great, the drinks are really strong!! snacks are nice to munch on. the decor inside and outside are really nice and have a historical touch to them! my friends and i love to come here to catch up and hang out especially when the weather is nice

Yelp
Cute bar in DC with a very nice ambiance. The outdoor patio was closed for the night by the time I got there (I assume due to noise ordinances). The inside isn't very large but it's decorated nicely. Had no issues getting service at the bar and staff were friendly. Drinks are pricey but that's to be expected at any bar in DC.

Yelp
I think this place should have a better Yelp rating! One star is probably not fair. First, I appreciate how much outdoor seating they have. The benches are honestly really nice! I also like the decorations. The bathrooms are nice too! And clean. I wish they had more bathrooms though. There was a line! Also, my drinks were good! They tasted good and they looked good. The service was also good. I wasn't expecting that! Super easy and nice.

Yelp
Very Expensive !!! 2 Sapphire martinis, and 2 Tito martinis = $104.oo Like crazy! Both time we ordered they came out wrong and the bar wasn't even busy. Not worth it. An now I don't trust going there. I feel like i was scammed because I was new.

Yelp
A fun spot to be on a Saturday afternoon. After a long day of walking we stopped in for a visit. Bartender couldn't have been nicer. The crowd was a nice mix of people. Outside seating was perfect for people watching. Inside was a bit too crowded for us. If you're looking for a place to see the scene D.C. put this on your list!

Yelp
It is exactly what it claims to be...a little gay pub! And a cute one! I love the flower entrance! The hot girl summer in a glass was so yummy! Great spot to have a drink outside this summer!

Yelp
A cute & fun gay bar in Shaw/Logan (I don't know the technicality)! I loved all the fun decor everywhere. It was fun and you could look around for hours. It's definitely tight - so get there early and grab a table or your group will be standing. I wish there was more seating (not sure how they'd do it). The bar was heavily men throughout the night but still welcoming. All casual chatting no one danced or was belligerently drunk. I saw some of the food come out - it looked okay. My corona in a can with tip was $11 so definitely not ShowTime! Maybe they have happy hour but I didn't see anything about it. In terms of accessibility it was a very tight bar and every table was high top inside. I think there was also a step inside. It would be challenging to navigate inside. I can't remember the Patio situation but maybe it would be a better option. All in all would definitely recommend going!

Yelp
Horrible little place--AVOID and go elsewhere. Food and drinks are below average, and the establishment is tiny and not very clean. There are several nearby places that are much better.

Yelp
Love LGP. Always fun, always packed, they have a nice patio when the weather cooperates. Bartenders are friendly, they make a decent cocktail. Great addition to the neighborhood

Yelp
I'm a frequent visitor to DC, and had been eager to try this place. My first impression: Not a friendly staff, and a vibe too precious by half. In fairness, it was shaping up to be the hottest day of summer, and perhaps the team was feeling the heat on this sunny Saturday afternoon. But the guy at the door barked "ID!" as his greeting, (I'm in my 50s) after which I proceeded to the bar where I stood for a couple of minutes waiting to order, with no other customers. Nothing--no welcome, no hello, no "What can I get you?" from the bartender putting away glasses. Again, could have been a one-off, but I certainly wasn't made to feel welcome. Thanks LGP, but I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Yelp
This may be the best gay bar I've ever been to. Low key with fun cocktails, unaggressive clientele, friendly bar tenders, and over all great vibe.

Yelp
Amazing neighborhood bar! Stopped in for a drink on Thursday night and the place was pretty busy. Their house cocktails were delicious and the decor is very quaint! Definitely a great place to meet up with friends or start the night regardless of what direction the night takes you! Would come back 10/10!

Michael R.

Yelp
Fun neighborhood bar! This place is always packed and for good reason. Fun, friendly crowd, decent drinks, great patio especially on sunny days.

Rae S.

Yelp
Excellent ambiance, friendly and helpful staff, delicious cocktails. The only thing that is preventing this from being a six-star review is that the tater tots should come with chimichurri mayo
google avatar

Yelp
Bleck. I don't understand why people go to this place. I think its because dc is so starved for anything culturally interesting. And the bathrooms are nice but. Like. Its a whole thing. And also. So what. Id rather have less fancy bathrooms with people taking selfies and not pay ten times as anyone ever should for a can of crappy beer. I prefer to never go back.

Yelp
We came here for late night drinks for my friends birthday so we didn't eat, but the Prosecco was good and if I'd been drinking liquor the unicorn tears looked fun! (Birthday boy liked it and the glitter on top). The bartenders and bouncers were all very sweet and the bar is just SO cute. I definitely want to go back!

Dara C.

Yelp
At first we LOVED it here and came here often with our friends, this weekend in particular dogs were apparently not allowed. Fine we could have walked the dog home, but the bouncers were awful. Awful. "Such is life- we said no pets today." And then proceeded to talk about me and my party to others... Not welcoming. So put off. So sad. Was really rude. Would no longer recommend. Most importantly, talking about other customers... doesn't feel like a very welcoming place anymore. To add, our friends asked him what changed... and they were flabbergasted we were upset. Meanwhile we Ubered to their venue. No thanks. Highly recommend a pass at this point which is a huge bummer.

Eric R.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, fun crowd, nice space, fantastic staff! Went for pre-dinner drinks and Paul(our Bartender) was great!!!

James C.

Yelp
Had very good times here. LGBTQ+ friendly. Staff are beautiful. Lots of beautiful people here.

Yelp
The place has a little bar bites that are absolutely to die for. Especially the Dino chicken Nuggies feels like I'm a kid again. Not to mention, the bartenders are really attentive, and the decor is to die for.

Michael K.

Yelp
Great cocktails and perfect location! The staff is super friendly and the outdoor patio is a great place to spend time with friends. Highly recommend this great new addition to Logan Circle

Shawn R.

Yelp
Fun place with patio and indoor seating, professional, fun and friendly bar staff (increasingly a rarity in gay bars if you're an outsider or not model material). A reasonably good selection of spirits but mostly mainstream. No draught beer. Fun decor featuring classic gay icons (Golden Girls, Grace Jones, Harvey Milk, Martha P. Johnson) and telephone motif throughout (Unusual right? A British phone booth as a doorway, a red rotary phone in the main room, other phones in the washrooms. Some fun, kitschy touches: a duck decoy beside me sporting a jaunty ladies who lunch kind of hat. Fun needlepoints (I think that's what they are) near the washrooms. Light fixtures that call out to an art deco era. Windows and partial ceiling treatment that evoke a British pub. At least two ceiling mounted air conditioners. A fantastic place to go with friends but not so much fun on your own. Tough to break in here. One annoying quirk: there is something odd about their pre-auth procedure. Their pre-auth survives for a couple of days after the actual, final charge has gone through. So a $50 pre-auth (later reversed out) exists even after the full bill has been charged. Not a good practice and unusual for pre-auths. Still this is a good gay bar, staff not jaded, owner present and involved, with a better range of customer ages than most gay bars (mostly guppies from what I could see). Definitely a home away from home. Thank you to the owners for creating a place with personality. So refreshing.

Mr F.

Yelp
The door man checking id's is the rudest man I encountered on my trip in DC. He makes you not want to be there let alone come back.
