Google
The food here was incredible. It is by far the best quick serve Greek food I’ve ever had. I am a harsh critic, and I would rate it 10 out of 10. I be always liked Christakis, and The Little Greek did not disappoint. I had the vegetable souvlaki and an order of falafel. Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and fresh. I will definitely be back!

Google
Decided to give this a try today for lunch ordered a chicken pita and was very happy with the quality of the food. The price is competitive with surrounding restaurants. Will definitely be back

Google
I love this place. I often come here for a quick lunch. The food is always fresh & delicious & the service is fast. It’s located in the mess hall at Flight. It’s a great place to visit with the office because everyone can enjoy their preference of food.

Google
I've become a regular here. Best place in the building for sure!

Simon K.

Yelp
Excellent Greek food. Very tender chicken that is not overcooked. Nice homemade Tzatziki sauce. Ask for a large extra side of the sauce! I got the Chicken Souvlaki Plate and it was wonderful. I got ranch on the salad and it was nice. I also got an extra side of pita chips.

Kylo R.

Yelp
love the healthy food options here. The girl that helped me out today was also one of the nicest people I have encountered in a long time. Food came out quick and cooked to perfection. My go to spot for some Greek food

Eli R.

Yelp
Fresh and crunchy veggies, tender and juicy meat, Creamy Sauce... I mean this place has it all! I had the Chicken Souvlaki Plate, and it was delicious. Probably the best Greek food I've had in OC so far. This place is located inside Mess Hall. If you haven't been, it's a food court that has a nice selection and is a great place to grab lunch or a get a drink after work. But, I'll definitely be coming back soon, to try more menu items at this location!

Yelp
Drove all the way out here from Lake Forest on a Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM just to find out they were closed.

Sonny V.

Yelp
Tried this Greek spot today and The MessHall is always a good spot to get food. Tried the lamb plate. Delicious! The food was served quick and the food is excellent.

Christine D.

Yelp
Oh, my God, the best pita bread you will ever have in your life. It was soft and light. I've been really never been a huge fan of pita bread because sometimes it's chewy, but not this place. I wish I had a better appetite because I would've went back and got like a five or six pitas. The hummus was good as well and the olives. I also had my husband's salad, which had a very good red wine vinaigrette. Very light... exactly what I needed. He had some other meal. I can't remember what it was called but he liked it so all in all definitely will be back.

Yelp
The small salad for $7 is the biggest rip off ever: a tiny salad with 1 olive and sad limp cucumber for almost 8 bucks?! The fries were sad and soggy. The best thing was the side slaw that came with the gyro. The gyro was not crispy and very very average. The whole experience left a lot to be desired.

Yelp
Located inside the Mess Hall in Tustin, this is a great healthier option. Food was good, service was straightforward, and it tastes like they make your food fresh. I got the Chicken plate, which is like a smaller version of Panini Grill, but maybe less oily. It comes with a mixed greens salad (otherwise typical greek style), plentiful bulgar, and warm pita with tzatziki sauce. The pita is thin, with some ?parika, and it all goes well together. I would definitely come back when I am craving some fresh or Mediterranean food, since most of the other options are typical American fare (burgers, fried chicken, pizza, tacos). Ambience was surprisingly busy on a rainy Friday, with a nice mix of adult diners, probably drawn by the bar. The music can be a little loud, so I like to sit at the opposite end from the music. Some places close at 7, though, so beware!

Ignacio G.

Yelp
Probably the best spot at mess hall. The little Greek has great tasting dishes. Unfortunately today I found out that they have stopped serving the plate of pita bread you'd usually receive with your meal. Honestly the food is amazing but kind of sad that the pita bread has been removed.

Ritu R.

Yelp
This is a,very popular site. I got the falafel bowl. It cane with wild rice pilaf, 3 large falafel patties and a salad. I also got the tziki pm the side and ordered a side of hummus. The good was well displayed and delicioud. You can easily feed two people off of one order. Tip: parking is free, they keep the gate up

Guy B.

Yelp
I got the Gyro Lamb Plate and was, sadly, just okay with it. First, I was looking for a wrapped gyro with a salad and this was the lamb laying on the salad - no wrap. My mistake and I'm good with that. The lamb was well spiced but a little dry. (I don't know if it's because we were the first customers of the day or not.) I'm a big fan of Tzatziki but there's was a bit bland without a little of the "zing" I'm used to from other restaurants. With the plate, you have to pay extra for the pita bread, which had some sort of spice (paprika?) on it. Didn't care for that. I guess I'm comparing them to Willy's in Anaheim so maybe I'm spoiled. On the positive side was the serving size, amount of food, perfect temperature, fresh veggies, and Greek salad dressing was just right. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly.

Yelp
So good! I tried the lamb gyro yummy! For $13 you get shaved lamb, rice pilaf, lots of salad! Next time I will try the chicken and beef. Haven't been here for awhile maybe I will go here more now.

Yelp
The Little Greek offers some pretty tasty food. There's plenty of parking and seating in the Mess Hall. The best appeal of the food hall is that there is something for everyone to enjoy. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki and the Lamb Gyro Plate from The Little Greek. Similar to the other food stalls, the cashier will hand you a buzzer after you order to let you know when your food is ready. This gives you plenty of time to check out the food offerings. Once my buzzer went off, I made my way back to the stall. The plates came with rice pilaf, tzatziki, and a side salad. The portions are enormous and the protein is well seasoned and cooked. My favorite was the lamb gyro. This food stall offers a solid choice for a quick-serve restaurant.

Megan W.

Yelp
Food was DELICIOUS. The food hall itself has tons of seating indoors and outdoors. I'm a big fan of greek food so I had to try the lamb gyro. It was flavorful and surprisingly filling. The simple feta salad on the side was refreshing and crunchy + the perfect combo.

Debbie B.

Yelp
Had a last minute lunch request for my office. I called and the came up with a most amazing lunch for about 12 people. Everything tasted amazing!! They went above and beyond to help me. Thank you. Oh and I would love to come back and sit on your super cute patio. Staff was super helpful and friendly.

Persila N.

Yelp
Really great greek food! I got the lamb souvlaki plate and everything was delicious. The lamb was tender, the rice and side salad was flavorful, and everything was on point. The service was also friendly. Tried the french fries, which were not that special but still good. The pita bread was also flavorful. The portion size was definitely large. There was a mix up since I ordered the wrong item also, and the cashier was so kind with helping me to switch it, and even offered me a complimentary baklava dessert to go. I would definitely return here since it is a cool cafeteria style food court with plenty of options to appeal to everyone's taste buds. Plenty of parking outside in the lot!

Rebecca S.

Yelp
This is the best authentic Greek food I've had anywhere in the LA/OC area. I used to work at a great Greek restaurant in college and loved the food there as well but this place certainly is one of my favorite. Service is great, food is spectacular, and guitar musician adds the extra touch you don't get most other places. If I had any advice for them, it would be to expand the business to a larger location.

Me D.

Yelp
The food here is legit! I got the Greek Salata and my friend got the Villager. Both were stacked high with our protein of choice (I got sliced gyro, he got chicken), all the veggies were fresh and the dressing was light and now drowning out anything. I got mine without feta, my friend had feta and the portion was generous. Another time I got the hummus with pita and there was a lot of hummus and it was awesome. Looking forward to the next time I'm in the Mess Hall so I can try something else on the menu. This place does not disappoint!

Matt E.

Yelp
I thought the food was great and they made it according to my requests. Order was out quickly

Marlene M.

Yelp
Food is amazing ! Service is great takes time when they're busy but other than that so fast!

Sean B.

Yelp
We have enjoyed eating at Christakis before so my wife wanted to try The Little Greek. We were definitely not disappointed. The food was really good, portions adequate and reasonably priced. We will be going back.

Rou M.

Yelp
Conveniently located in a food court with plenty of parking around so you can avoid the madness that is other nearby shopping centers at lunch. The food items are overpriced for what you get at this food court for sure. And that includes this place. Not only is the amount of food for the price not great but the quality and flavor was definitely lacking. This may be the least flavorful Greek food I've ever had. The Spanakopita had zero flavor whatsoever. Definitely don't recommend it. We also tried the chicken plate. The chicken itself was ok, but the rest, the rice and salad didn't have much flavor. The pita that came on the side was blasted with spices on it but it was odd and not something you would want to eat on its own without a dip of some sort. The food was ready in reasonable time. But due to lack of flavor I'm not sure I would eat here again.

Jen K.

Yelp
Was trying to figure out what to eat at the Mess Hall and wanted to go healthy-ish so opted here based on the decent reviews. Got the half chicken and lamb gyro plate and it was ok. But the tzatziki and the pita were on the bland side and was lacking that satisfying flavor.

Yelp
DELICIOUS LUNCH ! My wife and I came to the Mess Hall to grab some lunch on Wednesday. We had been taking care of business in Irvine and this place was just 15 minutes away. Finding a spot on their parking lot was not a problem. It was pretty quiet when we ambled in just before 1.30pm....the lunch time rush was over. We decided to try this Greek eatery for the first time being very partial to Greek gyros. A helpful young cashier named Mia took our order for 1 x Lamb Gyro and I x Chicken Gyro...both came with tzatziki, chopped tomatoes & pickled onion with a side of Mediterranean slaw. We asked for olives and crumbled feta to be added. We paid and Mia gave my wife a ready buzzer. Things didn't take long and my wife collected our lunch order while I was grabbing coffees at The Lost Bean. The serves were very generous, ingredients tasted perfectly fresh with lots of flavor. We were more than happy with our first time visit here !

Christine K.

Yelp
The best Mediterranean foods around this area. I couldn't eat anything else once I tasted this food!

Angela C.

Yelp
I am a long time fan of Christakis, so was happy to see this spin-off inside The Mess Food Hall. Like its big sister, the food here did not disappoint! And unlike all the other places in this food hall, they kept their prices reasonable while providing decent portions and delicious food! I ordered their lamb gyro plate, which came on a bed of rice with a generous portion of side salad, and a bunch of pita bread. The lamb gyro was very tender and seasoned well. They were really heavy handed with the white sauce though, so I wish I had asked for it on the side. The salad was fresh and I liked the red wine vinaigrette that came with it (you also have the option of a Greek ranch dressing). Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. This is one of the few places worth coming to in this food hall!

Sabrina N.

Yelp
Came at 6 pm on a weekday-- not crowded at all. We got the lamb pita ($12) which was piping hot when it came out. Great flavor, very tender meat-- all in an easy to handle pita. The slaw that came with it was crisp and refreshing. Definitely recommend coming here

Airedale W.

Yelp
First time here. The lamb and chicken gyros were excellent but the fries were a major disappointment. They lacked seasoning and were a little limp. Mediterranean slaw was okay but could use a little more dressing. We would come back for the gyros but would get a different side.

Jane L.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh, and the portions are just right. I ordered the sumac grilled salmon and my son ordered the falafel pita. Both came with a side salad and yummy basmati rice. Mine came with a side of grilled pita and taziki. The only reason why I didn't give this five stars is because they didn't offer a side of sumac seasoning. Location is beautiful, clean, modern and spacious.

Antonip A.

Yelp
The food was delicious, the service can be better, I believe the owner is having a staffing issue because sometimes they are closed when they're operational hours states otherwise. Whenever I order from them I have to plan 2 hours ahead due to the reason that at times I've ordered 1 hour ahead of time only to show up to the location and they're is nobody working. I brought this up to the owner one day he was there in the morning counting the cashier, but he didn't seem to care.

Danny L.

Yelp
I went here for lunch and got the lamb gyro plate. Their portions are huge and are priced very reasonably compared to the other food stalls I saw at Mess Hall. Lamb Gyro Plate: The meat itself was quite dry and besides the large portion, there was nothing extraordinary about it. (3/5)

Michael W.

Yelp
What a fantastic find I loved every morsel healthy Greek food to go what else can you ask for?

Scott L.

Yelp
The Little Greek opened along with the 8 other Mess Hall restaurants during their opening Saturday, July 20th. I chose Little Greek rather than the other spots because of my bias for healthy Mediterranean food. Their menu has several options including mezes (apps), salads, pitas, and plates. I opted for the Lamb Souvlaki plate and was excited to see how tasty it was going to be compared to their restaurant in Tustin. I received my pager and waited for about 15 minutes. Picking up my order was fairly easy. The plate looked great from the distance. The salad was mixed well with the red wine vinegar. I wish I had the option of putting the sauce on the side. I tried the rice, which left me disappointed as it was dried. This didn't leave me hopeful with the lamb. As soon as I bit into the lamb, I knew that the chef had overcooked it over the grill as it tasted like cardboard. I wish I could have mentioned during my order to not cook it medium rare but the cashier did not ask.

Kath B.

Yelp
I make an effort to get food here when I am in the area. Usually this place over-delivers. I ordered the village salad with grilled chicken and a few sides (falafel, tsaziki and humus) and the portions were generous. But the grilled chicken was so overcooked, it was almost inedible. I hope this was just an off night for the kitchen.

William M.

Yelp
Just opened in the new Mess Hall food hall at Tustin Legacy. The food is fresh and well prepared. The service is very slow pleasant and efficient. I ordered the Lamb Gyro and found it be one of the best I've had. The pita was fresh and warm. The sauce was complimentary to the meat which was tender and generously provided. The tomatoes and veggies in the sandwich were fresh and crisp. The greek slaw on the side was very good; you can taste the olive prominently in the dressing. I'll be back soon to try out some of the other menu items.

Doug B.

Yelp
Got the falafel pita. Soft, and delicious. Pickled red onions were a nice touch, and the slaw on the side was amazing. Definitely coming back!

Arely F.

Yelp
Had a little from all the restaurants at the Mess Hall. They where all pretty good, but The little Greek was my top pick for being healthy and satisfying. Unbeknownst to me they are from Christakis, one of my favorite Greek restaurants. What a delight to find them at this location. I've definitely enjoyed the spreads with pita, Gyros, and salads. Can't wait to come back for more and if you like a more of a sit down with a little romantic setting their original restaurant is perfect with their outdoor patio.

Steve M.

Yelp
I have tried a lot of Greek restaurants and this one stands out as one of the best. I rarely write reviews but everything was excellent. Chicken was good but I was really impressed with the rice. The roasted tomato and onion were in bite size pieces and the the pita bread was perfectly seasoned and toasted. The vinaigrette was great and the taziki was obviously made in house by someone who knows what they are doing.

Jasmin H.

Yelp
SO GOOD. I love Greek food, but I have not tried many places that blew my mind. This place blew my mind. The first time I got the Lamb Gyro Platter, and it was so delicious. Everything was seasoned so well and balanced! The pita was light and soft and the meat was cooked to perfection. This was my second time here. This time I ordered ths Chicken Gyro Platter. Again, it was really tasty! I felt like I was eating such a healthy and delicious meal. There is also a salad with the platter that really takes that heavy feeling away from the rice, pita, and meat. The rice is nice and fluffy, which tastes great with the Tzatziki mixed in! Nothing else to say except: THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE FLIGHT MESS HALL. I'll definitely be back!

Katie F.

Yelp
Great food!! Got the chicken souvlaki. It came with rice and salad! Food was delicious! So much food and very filling! I didn't initially realize that it was affiliated with Christakis! I love going there! No wonder I loved the food from the Little Greek!

Inna B.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to try this place because we love Christakis restaurant. Checked them on Yelp and on Mass Hall website. Both said they are open till 8pm on Saturdays. It was about 6pm so we drove over, parked and they were closed. Many other restaurants there were open but not this one. Very disappointed!

Dakota M.

Yelp
It was my first time here and I had an amazing experience .This is authentic Mediterranean cuisine with great food full of flavors and fresh ingredients tabouleh was so good and the chicken was so juicy .Hookah is great and the Arabic music makes the atmosphere nice and welcoming .I'll be definitely back to try some more items on the menu and will recommended this place who love Arabic food and Arabic music .

Adele B.

Yelp
We were very pleasantly surprised to be able to get a reservation for two on Saturday night at 6:00 pm. The place is cute but hard to find in the parking area where it is located. We got lucky as there was a live guitarist there as well. The head server ( or maybe the owner) was right there with menus and our drink orders and was extremely cordial. He suggested a nice white wine which we thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered some spanakopita for appetizers which were delicious. These are spinach filled turnover type pastries. I asked for a teeny taste of some of their olives and yogurt just to sample, and the guy brought these immediately. I told him that I was tasting for my Yelp review. The olives and yogurt were absolutely wonderful. We ordered the Christakis Special Plate for our dinner. It consists of two tender lamb chops, a nice piece of pasticio (like macaroni & cheese in crust), special green beans with almonds, and rice. The lamb was cooked med rare to perfection. We were too full for dessert but vowed to return for coffee and baklava next time. In our opinion this is the best Greek restaurant in Orange County.

Bridget H.

Yelp
on pricy side for vegan plate of 3 falafel, souvlaki mostly tomato and onion, small oily pita = $12 + tip acidic and oily - need a stronger stomach

Brinna L.

Yelp
Best falafel this side of the Atlantic! Biting into the falafel pita brought me back to late nights at the kebab cart (in the best way). Definitely my go to spot in the Mess Hall. The hummus and pita bread is also fantastic!

Ilana R.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying my boyfriend and I are huge fan of Christakis in Tustin. When my parents come to visit from the East Coast we normally take them there as well. However, my boyfriend and I are not always in the mood to have a sit down dinner - out of the house - every time we are craving greek. For the times we really wanted greek but at the comforts of home we would go to CAVA. As soon as we heard the flight was opening we went to check it out and were excited when we saw "The Little Greek". We decided to give it a shot in hopes of it being our new greek take out spot. We are so glad we did cause we are hooked and now regulars. As much as we enjoy The Little Greek we never knew that it was in fact related to Chistakis until today! Made us even love this place more and excited to continue to support them! Highly recommend trying the falafel plate, chicken gyro, and absolutely must order their kopanisti.

Silvia V.

Yelp
Super tasty food. Didn't have much clue on what all the options were but the staff there walked me through it. The food was freshly prepared and I was not disappointed by the flavor nor the portion size. Just give it a try - they have lamb gyros, chicken gyros, and vegetarian options too. Will definitely be back on my lunch break.

Karen F.

Yelp
Excellent salad. The house ranch dressing is fresh and delicious. Made in house so no need for preservatives. Clean food, the grilled chicken salad has a nice serving of meat that tastes natural and clean. Highly recommend.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Disappointing and poor management! Guess the place doesn't want to make money. Their posted hours say that they're open until 3pm. We went there at 2:24pm on Friday and the guy working said they were closed. Why post hours and not follow them?
