The Little Violet Door

What an extraordinary bar! We were looking for a bar that was still open on a monday after midnight and happened to pass by The Violet Door. The cocktails are a bit pricey on average (I noticed afterwards that I was charged £14 for a simple Negroni) Apart from that, it's a wonderful place, and we sang karaoke until 1 a.m.! I would have liked to see the lower part of the bar, but unfortunately it was closed

We had the pleasure of having drinks here tonight! The cocktails were incredible but what made the experience that much better was the warmth of the lovely staff. Shout out to our servers Kyra and Pablo, two angels who gave us a history lesson about the place and a tour of the incredible basement area! Bonish the bartender was a one man show making really intricate, unique cocktails that were balanced and delicious. Stephan was making sure everything ran smoothly! The place is so warm and cozy, beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back. The jams were also on point!

Lovely little place a few minutes walk away from Tottenham Court Road station. They had a nice range of cocktails to choose from. I got the kinky boots cocktail, which was a pride special. I hadn't had a cocktail that tasted like that before, it was lush. The food, however, was not in the same league. I had a chicken and chips. The chicken was really bland and not worth the money. I would definitely come back here, but just for the cocktails.

We came here to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday, and the venue itself is such a cute little spot. They had a food package, which was good overall, but I’ve honestly never had guacamole so bland before it was surprising, because that’s usually hard to get wrong. The DJ that night wasn’t great either; the songs didn’t flow well, and the volume was so high it became more overwhelming than enjoyable. If the music had been just as good but less loud, I think everyone would’ve had a much better time. On the plus side, the customer service was really good, the drinks were reasonably priced and decent in strength, and the decor was absolutely beautiful, very Instagram-worthy.

Visited on a whim with my friend. Immediately the bouncers were welcoming and friendly and continued to be all night. We loved the option of the more chilled vibe upstairs or the club feel of downstairs. Cocktail menu is diverse and creative and reasonably priced. Our cocktails were made by lovely Hugo who we thought was awesome! The DJ was playing banger after banger seamlessly as well as casually blasting on the sax! We had a great night here and will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

From security to bar tenders honestly one of the most niche and interesting places we have gone in London for a while! My partner and I were there from 7:30pm till 10pm. The security guards were loving and welcoming, so much so we tipped them for their hard work! Cocktails were made to perfection and each staff welcomed us and never forgot us! If we could we would have stayed all night! Looking for something to do for even an hour, go to through the violet door!

So quirky you just can’t love it! Recommend to book,as it’s always busy. Love the vibe of all the little doors in London. Great space! They do 241 mon to Friday until 8pm

It was my first time visiting the little violet door on my trip to london and they made it very memorable! The ambiance is incredible and so is the staff! Kyra made a lasting impression and left us wanting to come back. Don’t miss out!!!

Had to visit this beautiful and trendy bar for London Pride! The downstairs was closed for a private event, but we managed to sneak in for a quick cocktail at the perfect time! Loved the menu with lots of fun nods to musical theatre and enjoyed our creative concoctions in this fabulous space. Would love to come back and take advantage of their board games and comfy seating with friends! Service was quick despite a busy bar!
