Great experience! Employees were very kind, and the cafe had a very nice atmosphere. The Strawberry Milk Cream croissant was absolutely incredible as well! Highly recommend!

This is a tiny Japanese style bakery with an amazing selection of bread that is fresh, and very delicious. The prices are good. I feel like I'm getting amazing value for what I'm paying. The drinks are pretty good as well. If you're in the area I recommend this place, you won't regret it. Staff is friendly. The atmosphere is nice. My wife and I had the Curry bead, the Japanini (My favorite), and the tomato basil.

This place is truly a hidden gem. They are a small bakery, so things do run out, and I recommend going early to get the full experience. The baked goods are so delicious and fresh. Not super sweet but more of a subtle sweetness, so now sicking sweet morning croissants. Speaking of croissants, they are buttery, flaky, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Highly recommend the Earl Grey croissant with the Sakura Latte. I will honestly be coming here more often, it's just that good. There is a parking structure close by, so parking is no issue.

Came here looking at the great reviews. The store is welcoming. They have a lot of variety of breads. The prices are good too. I went ahead and grabbed a bunch of breads including the japanini, cheesy jalapeño panini, tomato basil salt and butter roll etc. the breads were fresh and very yummy. The employees were also friendly. Will definitely be back if I’m in town again. This time was just passing thru.

The Japanese are always known for their quality and reliability. From cars to tools they excel at making quality goods. The Loaf definitely upholds that quality. The bread is unbelievable good. I’d recommend the cookie salt butter roll and the mocha French toast (tastes like coffee bread). The Loaf also has drinks that are better than a boba shop. I’d recommend the sea salt taro latte. They also sell some jams and spreads that I’ve never even heard of. Only downside to the Loaf is it closes at 2:30. This place is so good I gotta cap the amount of times I come so I never get bored of it

Delicious drinks, fresh pastries! Clean and organized digs. Silky, tasty sea salt foam on both drinks (we got the taro latte & matcha cold brew). Intriguing choices in the drink fridges. Great & fast service despite busy holiday work visibly going on in the open kitchen. Wish I had asked for the possibility of whether or not we could warm up the pastries but they were delicious nonetheless. Only way to improve the place is indoor/outdoor seating. The café is located in a courtyard where you could sit but no dedicated seating. Don’t let this stop you from getting a delicious breakfast/lunch though. Well worth it!

The Loaf Japanese Bakery is a unique business. They have something for all ages. I am a huge fan of bakeries and Cafés combination. They have everything under one roof. There is a large parking structure beside the retail businesses. The surrounding area is a great place to walk or sit while you're enjoying a taste treat. The bakery and beverages are made with quality ingredients. The Loaf's staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their pastries and drinks. I suggest you visit with your family and friends. The Loaf is Closed on Mondays.

What a delicious hidden gem. I can't get past how kind and helpful the employee was. Mentioned it was our first time here and gave me a breakdown of their menu and I did not once fell rushed. Their pastries were so yummy and it was nice trying out some Japanese baked goods for a change. Everything we tried was fresh and good. Wanted to try a variety of items and all the things we purchased were a hit with my family. They carry baked pastries, hot and cold drinks. Will definitely be returning. It has a great location as well as the building adjacent to it is a parking structure as on the street you'd be lucky if you found parking. Highly recommend 👌

Downtown New Hall, you got this going for you! Right across the street from Old Town Newhall Library is a cute bakery with the freshest bread made from Hokkaido flour that is gluten free. The freshest bread and the most exquisite flavors baked into masterpieces of bakery classics like croissants, rolls etc ... And excellently executed into perfection. Quite aesthetically pleasing too, if you ask me. It gets busy on weekends tooz especially on farmers market Saturdays. Parking: Free in the structure and on the street. It's closeby and attached. Strategically placed in the Laemelle Movie plaza. there's a parking garage- free parking garage might I add! Park here or on the street. It's free just watch the signs Ambiance: quaint, cozy, excellence. Baby Friendly: absolutely! I even bring in my stroller in on days that I'm going to the farmers market across the street. Seating: Bar window seating. Only a few seats. But outside there is a courtyard that you an enjoy your delectable pastries outside and get some sunshine. It's good for the soul. Not a designated space for The Loaf customers only but many frequent the area of o enjoy their goodies. Food: Loaf bread: this loaf of bread is the fluffiest, clean tasting bread. It has a subtle sweetness to it. I literally get it every week. Do yourself a favor though and call ahead of time because they run out sometimes. Ask them to slice it for you if necessary. Salt and butter roll: oh this is a treat. Salt and buttered to perfection. It is soft and if you just happened to time it right you'll get one out the oven and it is soooo good. I get a few and eat them the next day. Japanini: bacon, pesto, cheese, crispy outside soft inside with flavors bursting through it. Love this. Bacon bacon; what's not to love about a bread roll with bacon and Japanese mayo. Taste it. I love it too Mocha French toast: this is filled with light creme and it's so fresh. The coffee flavor is legit and it's not overwhelmingly sweet which is what I like. Drinks: banana matcha latte - sweet, banana flavored matcha. I like sweet drinks lol. Iced coffee - Pecan/ hazelnut? I can't remember what but it was but it's a special drink and it's delicious. The Yuzu lemonade is very refreshing as well! Honestly, you can't go wrong with trying everything here. It is exquisite!

This place is really good! I came in on a weekend to get a matcha and try one of their pastries. It wasn't too packed, and the line moved fast. It was around 1:30pm, so a lot of their more popular items were already sold out. I ended up getting a banana cream matcha, strawberry croissant and a new item that I forgot the name of but it was a bread roll filled with pork. Everything was BOMB. I can't wait to go back and try more! The only reason why I took off a star is because of their hours. They close at 2:30pm everyday, which sucks because I want to be able to take my Godson after school but he gets out at 2:35pm. If they would stay open until at least 3:30pm that would be ideal and I think they'd get a lot more business from the nearby middle and high school kids.

I often come here for breakfast. Their pastries and bread are fresh baked daily as I can see since it is an open kitchen. I love the salt & butter rolls. They are so soft, butter filling , with a touch of salt on top. My second favorite is the hotdog panini. I always ask to heat it up. It tastes better. I got to try strawberry matcha. I have to say it was pretty good. They also have Groundwork coffee. There are no seats inside but there's a counter to eat for a few people. But you can sit outside. Fast & friendly service

The staff here are so welcoming, polite, and helpful -- it really adds to how beautiful the bakery already is. It's my second time here this week and I can't stop buying their breads because everything is so good. The salt bread is perfectly done and tastes amazing, and the yuzu croissant is a must-try -- they definitely don't skimp on the yuzu! It's mixed right into the cream, and the flavor is just delicious. The drinks are unique and tasty too, but their pastries are definitely the stars. Even their loaf bread is incredible -- perfect to take home for breakfast, so fluffy it practically melts in your mouth. Honestly, for the quality, the prices are totally worth it. Highly recommend this place!

This place is everything I expected it to be and more! Fresh pastries (sweet & savory) coming out of the over fresh and being made daily. This has been on my list for over a year and I finally had the opportunity to go. I ordered buttered roll with red bean paste and it was incredible!! I also tried the croissant that looks like a cube with the match inside. I will say it was delicious but too much filling to pastry ratio for me. I squeezed most of it out. The matcha bun with red bean paste was also tasty. I must add that the service was exceptional - the staff was friendly and patient with me. To drink I got the matcha with banana foam and it was so yummy. Took my husband back after he got out of the doctors and he loved it as well. We'll definitely be back with our daughter.

I was really, really confused when I saw this place on Yelp (was visiting the area for a short day trip) and saw that all the baked items and general theming of the store was suspiciously similar to Okayama Kobo in Anaheim (and now Little Tokyo). I thought maybe someone had...quietly just copied everything they did, but upon inspection of their website found that the owners are the same! Not sure why they decided to go for a different name? But I think The Loaf does sound catchy/chic lol. Items are just as great as their other locations! They actually have a few items expensive to this location (or maybe I just visited while other seasonal items were in stock that weren't when I visited Okayama). They had interesting new things like cubed croissant loaf pasteries filled with sesame and matcha cream, mocha french toast, strawberry beret, and the seasonal santa custard bread. All were really delicious! I particularly liked the mocha french toast and sesame cubed croissant. I do think The Loaf/Okayama is on the pricier side, but the love, care, and quality is definitely all there. They also had a seasonal strawberry sakura latte that I tried. Really liked the sakura flavor, but thought it didn't mesh well with the espresso/coffee flavoring. They just sort of clash, and I didn't think it was pleasant. Would totally get a sakura tea latte or something though, if they ever have that in the future. I think the sakura flavor would do well with tea and milk rather than coffee and milk. If I'm ever in the area I'll definitely stop by again!

One of our favorite bakeries in the area. A few of our go-to items; japanini, chocolate emoji, strawberry milk cream (of course), and the s'mores danish. Beware they don't make a lot of s''mores danish and they run out on weekends. Besides the pastries, we love the coffee drinks here - they are low-key amazing!

Japan comes to Valencia! Love it. Salt Bread trend ignited. Good chilled matcha minus vanilla syrup add honey. There was a white looking sentiment at the bottom of my matcha and not sure what that was but it tasted good. Tried the salted bread sausage thing and the French toast. The bread was a bit dry around 11am on a weekday. Maybe I need to arrive early am to get a moist product. No sit down area in our outside tied to the bakery. Gonna give this place another chance.

As an unofficial matcha connoisseur....this is probably one of the best strawberry matchas I've ever had. The foam was perfectly sweet & salty. The matcha itself wasn't overly sweet either. I got it with almond milk and it was just smooth all around. Had curry pan for the first time and the curry to bread ratio was 10/10. I read here that people prefer it to have more filling but I thought it was a nice balance. There's a divider with posters between the cashier and customer so it was kinda awkward ordering haha but all good bc the service was fast. I live an hour away but would def come back just for this bakery can't wait to try everything else Servi

Just want to update my review. I love this cute little bakery. They are consistently providing perfect baked goodies and I really love to try new bread. I tried a bacon-bacon today and I think I tasted mayonnaise? It's different and I'm hooked. The service is always good and I love coming here. My favorite bread is curry pan (カレーバン) & kobo kuma. Keep up the good work! Two thumbs up!

A little small town, I found a cute little place called The Loaf . As I walked in all the bread are freshly baked, I noticed strawberry croissant only one piece left, quickly they offered me more for the fresh one which incredible taste. They also heat up with the oven I believe made the bread filled with joy. Everyone in store is friendly with the smile on their faces. I will be back soon! Thinking about bread you will be my number one choice! Ops I forgot to mention about my hot lavender latte with cozy weather

Finally was able to try this place! Wow! Is all I can say. I got a chocolate filled emoji and it was like biting into air filled with delicious chocolate. The matcha cold brew was stellar. Definitely will be back and I plan to try everything here! Awesome!

As a native from Santa Clarita, I wish we had this so much earlier! All of the items are so amazingly fluffy and delicious. It's hard to stop yourself from ordering a gigantic box since you want to try everything! The curry pan has a great filling and a wonderfully lightly crunchy exterior. The breads are so nicely decorated but also taste amazing. It's so great to share them all with family so you can try a bit of everything. The line moves fairly quickly too.

We've been eyeing this little bakery but have always seemed to stop by when they're closed. We finally got to try it and thought it was delicious. It seems like every item is baked fresh and with care. The workers are nice and it is a cozy environment with little toys and music playing. We got the cookie salt & butter roll, which melt in your mouth delicious with some sweetness to it. It reminded me of starbread, for any Filipinos who know what those are. My fiancée got the matcha sunrise, which was also great, but we both agreed that the cookie salt & butter roll was phenomenal. We'll be back to try other goods soon!

This place had an amazing curry pan. Comparing it to other Japanese bakeries I have been to in socal, this was definitely the best curry pan I have ever had. The other items were also really delicious, I had the salt bread and the yuzu dessert. There is a lot of seating/benches outside in the courtyard to sit and eat. The workers were really nice and I would recommend this place for people to try if they are in the area.

The Loaf is a cute little bright bakery tucked in the corner of downtown Newhall. When I'm in the area, I always make a pit stop for their Matcha Sea Salt Cold Brew and some tasty pastries. Japanini 5/5* It's a neat little savory package of pesto, tomato, bacon, and cheese. The top and bottom is toasty with that cheese-skirt type crusty crunch, but the bread is soft and fluffy. The filling somehow is really creamy and gives good mouth feel. Oyaki Takana 3.5/5* Mustard greens doesn't sound like the greatest filling for savory pastries, but somehow it works. They stuff it with a good amount of filling, but it is mostly towards the middle, so you end up with a lot of bread at the corners. The first time it was soft milk bread texture, but other times it was denser and too bready. Black Sesame Cube Croissant 5/5* Insanely flaky!! You can see the beautiful lamination layers creating a design on this cube and even feel the crispness. Breaking into this indulgent masterpiece is an ASMR dream. The black sesame cream adds just a touch of nutty sweetness that wasn't overly sweet. It was really filled and messy to eat, but totally worth it. By far, my favorite out of everything. Matcha Cube Croissant 2.5/5* Same insanely flaky croissant, but somehow I got the one with no filling inside. The only matcha cream was the dollop on top. It left the pastry dry and felt lacking. The matcha cream didn't have as much flavor as the black sesame, and although I love matcha everything, I wouldn't get this again. Matcha Sea Salt Cold Brew 5/5* I get this every single time. The matcha foam is thick and creamy and balances out the cold brew. The cold brew had a strong flavor, was smooth with no acidity, and had just the right amount of sugar. It's a small bakery, but there's always something delicious. There are a few staple pastries and breads that are a permanent fixture, but The Loaf rotates some items as well for variety based on the ingredients in season. The apricot danish wasn't on the menu this time, but there was a honey fromage pizzette. I'm excited to see what other pastries they will whip up next.

Our favorite spot in scv, my brother and I are here multiple times a week! Some of the best asian pastries i've found outside of Irvine. Highly recommend visiting if you are looking for great drinks and great food in the area!

What a great little bakery tucked away on a Main Street!! I was pleasantly surprised to find this Japanese establishment in a seemingly predominantly white neighborhood and more pleased by all of the delicious baked items I got!! ULTIMATE FAVORITE AND TOP RECOMMENDATION would be the salt and butter roll!! So simple yet so perfect!! 20/10 - light and fluffy yet a nice light crunchy shell and perfectly salted and buttered. So amazing. Strawberry milk cream croissant was also fantastic: I would describe it like a cream puff in croissant form with fresh strawberries 10/10 French toast: light and fluffy w a nice sugary crunch shell. I enjoyed the moistness and flavor from the condensed milk 10/10 Cheesy jalapeño panini was good but not my favorite only because I don't like super melty cheese. I prefer a crustier cheese on a bread. But I'm sure this would be great for someone else's taste preferences 7/10 Matcha tiramisu was also so decadent yet light. They really allowed the matcha flavor to take center stage, and it was moist and fluffy. 8/10 Oyaki shumai: the filling really tastes like a shumai! I only wish I had saved this to eat at home so I could warm it up because it was cold upon purchasing it and therefore a bit lackluster. I'm sure warming it up would have made it quite delicious and filling. 7/10 Sea salt jasmine peach tea: I ordered with no foam and it was so refreshing. 7/10 Overall, a great spot that I would love to drive back to for. Service was efficient and friendly. Even though the line extends out the door, it moves along pretty quickly! They also have a bunch of drink options and various Asian condiments to purchase.

If this bakery was closer to me, I would be here all the time. The pastries are so tasty, unique AND cute! They have so many different options from savory to sweet. They also have coffee drinks to go with your baked goods! I ordered a the black sesame cube croissant and the kobu kuma to go. I had never even see a cube croissant before! Loved the presentation. The kobu kuma was so cute, I was super excited to give it to my son. To my utter disappointment, I left my pastries on the kitchen counter and my dog ate them. Sigh. I did get to enjoy a matcha mochi an-pan when I was at the bakery. I loved the red bean on the inside and the soft matcha bread on the outside. It wasn't too sweet so it made for the perfect little snack. I found the prices to be super fair. Located in a cute little courtyard in the Newhall area, this Japanese bakery is a must try!

I felt like a little girl in a Kawaii store, but only this time it's fresh & delicious assorted baked goods. I absolutely loved the everything bun. It was soft and the inside had this rich, but not overwhelming, salty sweet buttery taste. My favorite drink for now is the Rose Latte. Perfectly flavored and sweetened. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their bakery items. I cannot rave about this place enough. 85 degrees bakery cannot compete with comparable prices but even more taste & freshness. They are literally making all the bakery delights in front of you.

The Loaf is such a wonderful gift to have in our community. Our family is so grateful to have a bakery that takes such pride and care in the product it puts out. While the store is pretty small, it is cute and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming while still moving the line along. As for the offerings, we really enjoy the strawberry croissants and salt and butter rolls the most. The salt and butter rolls in particular are not to be missed. They don't look like anything special until you take the first bite. I highly recommend that you don't wait long to eat them. They lose that magical firmness on the outside paired with the soft, milky inside when you wait more than a day. The matcha cube croissant was fun to eat and worth a go and the kids enjoy the emoji buns as well. So cute. The weekends do get busy especially Saturday when the farmers market is going on too so they may run out of items or you may have to wait for the next batch to come out, but it is worth the wait.

Hubba hubba! I love pastries - make them kawaii too and I'll be racing there! This bakery got put into my Yelp feed and it was an amazing recommendation - what a local gem! I never knew this place existed! The only con is that parking can be dicey as it's street parking only. Lovely assortment of pastries, both sweet and savory, and very light and tasty too! They also sell cold brew coffee in jugs to go and an assortment of jams. Prices are comparable to 85C Bakery (expect each pastry to be about $3.75 a piece) . On a Friday afternoon, there wasn't much of a wait. I was in and out in 5 minutes with a yummy box of goodies!

My husband, son and I went on a Saturday morning not realizing that it was also farmer's market happening that same morning in the same area. Luckily, we found parking at the parking lot structure inside and the door was close to where the cafe was located. When we got inside, I noticed that the place, although small, had a resemblance of 85 degree bakery - cute and delicious pastries shown in display and ordering drinks towards the end when you pay. There was a long line but it went pretty quickly. We ordered the curry pan, the chocolate emoji bread, the salt and butter rolls, the chocolate croissant, the japanini, the iced sea salt peach tea, and the iced vanilla latte to name a few. It took a while to get the drinks since the pastries were easy to get but once the drinks were done we headed our way. Staff was friendly and patient with us while we were figuring out what to order. In terms of the food and drinks, they were very delicious. The salt and butter roll was very delicious according to my husband and it reminded him of the salt and butter roll 85 Degrees used to have back in the day. The curry pan was flavorful and it had enough stuffing to bread ratio. The other breads and pastries and even the drinks were yummy and not too sweet. Overall, I recommend checking this place out when you're in the area.

This place was so delicious! My friends and I all got a drink and then a mix of sweet and savory pastries. The staff was nice when we asked them the warm up some of them. There's not much seating inside but the area around the place is rlly cute to walk around and there's some benches.

At probably the busiest times in the morning, they have 8 people working but only 1 is designated as the " server". Everyone else is standing around and not helping out. Terrible customer service! Your employees do not know how to read the trim and jump in where needed. Breads and pastries are delicious but terrible le service will make me not return.

Worst matcha I've gotten. Grainy so looks like they didn't whisk it well. Also very off milk flavor. I ordered oat milk and am 99% sure it was soy milk. Would not come for the matcha. I wanted to try a snack but they had no vegan option even though I have never seen a place with non vegan red bean paste buns. Odd they wouldn't have even one option with no dairy. They said everything had milk powder even if it was just sprinkled on top.

I love how they ask, "what's size would you like your drink?" and they still give you a small cup and charge you for the large price. The beverages aren't worth it at all.

Delicious treats and drinks for fair price. There is a nice courtyard/ alcove just outside The Loaf where you can eat your treats and sit a while.

It's like an 85C. Fewer options. This place is a hit or miss, sometimes you get a light and airy bread that tastes delicious other times it feels like you got a day old bread tough to chew. I always go for the savory food like the curry bread or the one with a hot dog on it. For having a small amount of variety you want it to be the same consistency every time and set to a higher standard. The service is friendly. It's still a good place if you want to get a quick snack will you walk down Main Street.

First time trying a Japanese bakery and it was a great experience. The late morning I arrived, even though there was a small line, they still had pretty much everything in stock and I got to try an assortment of pastries. My favorite was the plain salt and butter roll. It was a really soft, pillowy, and lightly buttered bread that paired perfectly with the salted matcha cold brew coffee. That drink balanced the sweetness of the cream top with the earthiness of the matcha perfectly. The taro latte however was overly sweet and didn't really taste like coffee at all and honestly made it hard to enjoy the other sweet treats. I did notice they offer a pumpkin spice latte for fall and I will definitely revisit to try that (with another butter roll, of course!).

Very cute bakery! The loaves are delicious, even my toddler gobbles them up! The only thing is it's over $4 for a small loaf and it can add up fast! Service was great. I was hoping for a stamp card of some sort but they didn't offer one.

Newhall is at the forefront of the neo-renaissance occurring in the Santa Clarita Valley and I, for one, am very grateful for it. We are poised, breathless, on the edge of civilization here, at last. One harbinger of the elegance that awaits us is The Loaf Bakery and Cafe. A glance at the photos here, much less actually visiting, and you realize the possibilities. Loaf could hold its own anywhere on earth -- it is that unique and exciting. It is a quiet excitement and one needs to overcome a few inadvertent barriers to fully enjoy this bakery. One of them is the fact that there is no line, no order or service, or queue indicated anywhere. People just come in and push in front of anyone that was waiting patiently, because it does take time to study what is in stock if this is your first time visiting, as it was mine. I find this curious because in Japan, there is a definite protocol for every moment you are awake. It has to be instituted here. Second, the menu online does not fully reflect the array of pastries you find in the store at any one moment, meaning that you would have a very hard time ordering unless you first make a reconnaissance flight, take extensive pictures while being jostled aside by Santa Claritans on a mission, apparently, to be first all the time, and then step back to make a list. I wasn't prepared for this ordeal so I just lept into the fray ordering quickly and hoping for the best. The staff are not particularly talky, partially because they are protecting all of us by being masked, and there are tall plexi sneezeguards that present another barrier, so asking questions is difficult. However, the goods, the prices, the portions are all exceptional and worth whatever trouble it takes to shop. There are also condiments and other treats to pick up, so, again, worth the visit. Nearby parking is good, the location is lovely and village-like (part of the Old Town Newhall initiative that I hope will spread like ground cover to the rest of the SC Valley) and there are other attractions to visit when you make the trek to Loaf. If there was an aggravating factor to my experience it was the pouring rain the day I picked. I will go back soon and see if all these wrinkles smooth out so I can sing praises to this rare gem so close to my home.

I have tried the pastries and drinks a few times and I am a fan. The iced coffee with the foam is delicious. My daughter loved the matcha banana pudding drink. The spicy savory and sweet pastries were packed with flavor. Next time I will remember to share some photos with you'll. Ambiance casual with some outside seating options. Only some a few bar seats inside. Service is pretty fast and friendly.

Holy crapoli. I waited a ridiculous amount of time for a strawberry croissant, a bacon thingy and a tea. My god was it worth it! I totally understand why they are so busy and will mentally prepare myself next time. I got home and at the croissant right away and it was amazing. The custard inside was amazing. The strawberries were so sweet and fresh and the croissant was crispy and flaky. I'll definitely back. Everything was amazing. Thank to so much.

Amazing bread without any preservatives! The best salted bread and cookie butter breads ever. Service could be friendlier but their quality breads make up for it. Love this place

Finally, another option for my morning coffee! We stopped by after this came up in our recommendations on the way to pick up Pierogies down the street. Didn't even know this place existed and we've been to his shopping strip a few times (right by rocketfizz). It was tucked away in this hidden alleyway amongst other shops. Parking was a bit tough, there is a parking structure nearby but unsure if it costs anything so we just parked a few blocks down the street for free parking and walked. The line was long when we entered! Definitely a popular spot and we've never even heard of it. We hopped in line and one of the workers asked what we wanted. We ordered some pastries from what we could see but had to wait for the line to move until we could order more. Got some cute bear shaped cream filled buns which were INCREDIBLY soft and also ended up getting a strawberry cream filled pastry as well. I also got an everything seasoned croissant thing that I wasn't able to enjoy because it got hard overnight, my mistake for not eating it right away or properly preserving it. The drink I went for was the iced matcha latte with sea salt foam and my bf got the strawberry Sakura iced latte to try. I definitely liked the subtle strawberry flavor but couldn't taste the Sakura at all. The espresso really kicks in after that initial strawberry flavor so be aware of that. I loved the matcha latte! Definitely need to mix it throughout the drinking process, otherwise the matcha sea salt foam is all that is left and it's a waste because then it gets overwhelming. CUSTOMER SERVICE: 2 Server was rushing us out at one point dismissibe and brash. The cashier was very opposite, that's why it adds up to a 2. LOCATION: 4 Nice area and it has close parking. Drinks and pastries were bold (nothing over the top). We did admire the way they looked. Same day we went to 85 degrees bakery and both the customer service and the pastries we way better.

I believe it's the best bake shop in SCV, made from authentic Hokkaido flour and Japanese bakers. The white loaf is simply buttery delicious and soft perfect for a home made sando. And they also make the best currypan in LA, IMHO.
