The smell of fresh bread baking is pretty irresistible, and they have different breads coming out at different times of the day. The coffee cakes and cupcakes didn't look as interesting as the fresh bread. They also have a bistro menu (all in English) if you want more food.
8am is when the classic is out of the oven, and we made it at 11:30 just in time for the "extreme", which is a sourdough. It was still warm and had a good crust. For €2.50, it was a big loaf of bread. We snacked on this with our coffee at one of the small tables outside, and wished I had some butter/salt or cheese to go with the bread. After a few bites, it needed a little something more?
I had a cold brew for €2, which is cheaper than in the US. However, their coffee was really acidic and not really my style. My boyfriend's cappuccino was also pretty acidic even with the milk.
The view from the tables outside looks into their bread making kitchen next door, which is really nice.
