Best surprise I’ve had this year so far! Genuinely found my favorite burger I’ve had in Years! Since 2013 to be exact. “The Local burger” not only were the ingredients, pimento cheese, bacon, fried green tomato and the brioche bun, perfectly selected. Thought was also out into where these ingredients came from. Some restaurants I feel get lost trying to make the business side of things work and forget to actually cook and give great service. NOT this one! Simply decorated. No fancy uniforms. All the attention goes into the food and the service that they provide each and every guest. That was my experience. And i will return to this restaurant as well as recommend it to anyone seeking a gem of a place and spectacular burger!

The Local Cafe knows how to make a great cheesesteak sandwich. I really enjoy a good cheesesteak and this was a good one. The cafe is right on the town square and is a great use for the space. The wait staff was very friendly and the meal was prepared quickly and arrived at our table in a flash. I started with a cup of the soup of the day which was lobster bisque. The soup was full of flavor and was a nice start to the meal. I then ordered the Southeaster and upon the recommendation of the waitress, I added mushrooms. It was fantastic. I would definitely stop hear before heading into Lynchburg or on my way home again.

The food was absolutely delicious and the prices are reasonable. The local burger, cheese fries and cheese bings (curds) are a must have. They didn't include utensils for the cheese fries though.

Nice place and great flavors! The Philly cheesesteaks are really good and full of flavor. Only downside is the meat to bread ratio is a little off. It would be better if they charged a little more and gave you more meat. That said, this place is worth a visit.

I ordered the Fedville, Local Burger, and closed on Sunday sandwich. I live an hour away and couldn’t make up my mind, I figured I might as well try em all, and I was not disappointed. All three items were really good. Will definitely eat here again if I’m in the area

Great food and service. They really make you feel like a local when you walk in the door. The menu has many interesting twists on classic food such as a grilled cheese, BLT, and cheese fries. A+, will be back!

Chicken Philly isn’t on the menu but it is great. They have local honey for dipping their sweet potato fries. We like the cheese curds app. Ask for the “local sauce” to dip your sandwich in.

There's sandwiches are well-prepared and the quality is great. They have a quick service if you need your food in a short amount of time.
