"Located alongside Centennial Park (you know, where the fake Parthenon is), The Local feels like a honky-tonk for those in the know. Small inside but with a decent outdoor patio, the bar has a listening room feel with all the trappings of a good dive—including a stuffed beaver wearing sunglasses and a statue in a hotdog suit (we don’t know, either). As unserious as its decor is, the music coming from its corner stage is top-tier. Depending on the night of the week, you can catch everything from songwriter rounds to full bands. And in a time where it’s common to pay an arm and a leg for a tiny “artisanal” burger without any sides, the Local rejects that concept wholeheartedly. The bartender Jennifer was extremely friendly and outgoing really knew her drinks. They have live local music available every night there's a bunch of towns of folks that Grace the stage. Very chill country vibe if I'm back in the area I would pay a visit.. Nashville vibes

Appropriately named, this is a dive that will make you feel like a Nashville local without being on Broadway. You never know what fantastic artists/local legends might be stopping by to play, but you’ll have a delicious meal and fantastic service while enjoying said entertainment. Bring your cowboy hat however you wear it and live like a local! 🤠😋🍻

The best food and the best service we had while in Nashville! We stumbled upon The local after walking in the park in the afternoon on day. Our server was so nice the food was the best I had our whole trip way better than anything on Broadway and better prices. Lots of options for all dietary restrictions which I found difficult in some places on our trip! Definitely going to The Local again next time I'm in Nashville! Thanks for the great experience!

Went with friends last night for the first time. SO MUCH FUN! The nachos and chicken tenders were good. The live music was fantastic. Our server took excellent care of us!! Definitely going back!

A lot of people recommended this live music spot for it 's authenticity and homely, friendly atmosphere. The live musicians were some of the best I've seen and helps to make a warm vibe. Easy place to chat to others, have a drink and relax or even dance. Highly recommended.

This is a very cute little place with a decent beer selection and good, fat burgers and delicious fries. I really enjoyed that they have a vegetarian option as well. Our server was terrible, but the ambiance and songwriter showcase made up for that. I'd definitely recommend popping in if you're in the area

This is a great spot for good food and excellent music! We really enjoyed the burgers, they were big and filling. The service was fast and efficient. The acts on stage played a good mix of original music and covers. All and all, we had an amazing time.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They have an excellent selection of draft beers, and the food was outstanding—I ordered a burger, and it was truly chef’s kiss. The live music added an amazing touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommend!
