Update: Went back 4 days later and sadly the old fries were back. Server said that sometimes the vendor makes a substitution, or they get from a different vendor. Seems that there's no telling when or if those magical sweet potato fries will ever return. At least I got to have them once. I guess its comforting to know they're out there in the world somewhere. Maybe someday we'll find each other again.... Local 7 is still a nice place. Good food, nice staff, diverse menu. Give them a try sometime! And the SPFs are fine, just not the type to make a special trip for. Sorry if you already did. Will update if anything changes. :/ Best sweet potato fries! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm kind of obsessed with sweet potato fries and am always on the hunt for the best. Well, Local 7 upgraded their offering and the new ones take the prize! Delighfully crispy (not crunchy) on the outside, and tender (not soggy ) on the inside. Perfect! No wacky seasonings, no burnt ends, no greasy floppy fries. Just pure sweet potato magic. Thick cut and fried to perfection with a kiss of salt. Thanks guys! My previous fave stayed on top for 20 years and beat out dozens of other spots (including your previous ones). But these are the best ever! Ill be back for more soon! PS the serving size is much bigger than the photo shows. I gobbled them up so fast and almost forgot to snap a pic!

We stopped here coming thru. Bar food was above average. Great selection of craft beer. The place was packed, so service was terrible. Good vibe in there with lots of locals.

My go to local bar and restaurant! The food is a step above bar food. Everything I’ve ordered is fantastic. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu at this point! This grilled chicken caesar salad is one of my favorites. The wings are big and the Tots and Sweet potato fries are good too!!

We stopped here as a family party of 9. We found the food very good and the service was attentive. The two best items we ordered were the pork sandwich and the tots. We also ordered the chips with queso and found the tortilla chips to taste stale. I was also disappointed in the onion rings as they were not much better than frozen rings. I would definitely return for the tots and pork sandwich or plate.

Ii attended a memorial service for a friend's son at this location Friday evening! It was a tremendous turnout with respectful blocking of area for crowd safety which was awesome! It was a great service for the survivors , service was fantastic considering the crowd ! The staff were great !!

Not thrilled. An hour wait for food at 9 pm, and not many other customers. and was told the fryer broke down. Drinks? They need a good bartender who knows how to mix drinks. Trash on floor. Food was just “meh”/so so. If someone told me I could never go back there, I wouldn’t be sad.

Ive been in this area a lot of times yet i had never stopped at the local till about a week ago, had a friend that flew in from vegas and was staying about 5 minutes from here so we decided to give it a try and we are glad we did even though we got there late service was phenomenal and so was the food, honestly wish i had taken a picture of my burger and tots but i totally spaced out. Anyways i def recommend coming here and if you're in the area you should too.

My girlfriend and I had a really good dinner. I had the cajun chicken pasta and she had the chili. Both were excellent. Price was on the upper end, but still reasonable. Only negative to the night was the waiter was a bit inattentive.

The food, the service and the community are amazing here! The staff here at the Local is an amazing group of people - they are family! I had the Wedge with Steak and my spouse had the steak and fries. They were both delicious!

This place is good. I've been a few times, both during the day and in the evenings. The service can be a little slow at times, but the food is good and the servers are usually attentive.

The service was abysmal. We had a large group of, but they sat us promising prompt service. It took nearly 30 minutes for a waiter to take our orders and another hour to get our food. The waitress was rude when asked the reason for the holdup. Avoid this place!

Great for a work lunch! It was a slow day so my coworkers and I came out and had lunch. Service was quick. Food was fresh. Staff were friendly. Plenty of seating for larger parties and a cool vibe to the place. I enjoyed my steak sandwich. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly.

Definitely never coming back.... Ordered the fish and chips and unfortunately it was extremely dry. The fries were ok. The best item was surprisingly the tiny side of slaw. The hubs ordered a sandwich and the meat had shiny scale film and was also very dry. Perhaps you need to be wasted to enjoy the food here. Disappointing...

Another lunch buddy adventure! This time we both went for the burgers, cooked perfectly to order and delicious. The service was excellent too.

Horrible service. I sat at my table for 10 mins server walked passed me twice, looked me in the eye and still walked away. No one greeted our table nothing.

Service was really good. Very attentive. Cute little local bar. Food came out hot and yummy. The fish tacos are huge.

All good except bill. Don't like gratuity added automatically for 2 adults and 3 kids. Also don't like taxing after gratuity.

what an amazing experience. Our Server Daniel was sooo accommodating to our needs. Great Atmosphere and perfectly seasoned food. Definitely will be coming back and recommending to others

I have been to Local 7 many times over the past several years when I lived in Snellville. Now that I live in St. Simons Island, I make it a point to stop by for lunch. The menu has a wide variety of very good food. I have had the Reuben/Rachel, French Dip, Cuban & wraps. You cannot go wrong with any selection. The ambience is a pub vibe with folks who like for you to have a nice experience. If you haven't checked this establishment out you need to do so.

After hanging out at this bar, I suddenly felt the urge to sing "Sometimes you wanna gooooo where everybody knows your naaaaaaaame!!! -lol This is Tucker's version of Cheers! The bartenders seem to know everyone at the bar with the exception of us, but we fit right in, discussion: current events and sports! The drinks were awesome! We also ordered bar food, sweet potato fries and onion rings, both were really greasy and good!!! -lol! The service was extremely friendly and the prices did not break the bank, we moss Hot Betty's but this just maybe one of our new spots!

Met a friend here this week for lunch. Our first time and it was great. We ordered cheeseburger and BLAT both served with TOTS. They arrived and were huge. Their burger patty was beautiful with that awesome looking melted cheese. The bun was soft and lightly toasted. The BLAT arrived and it also was a beauty. Both sandwiches were big. And had plenty of stuffing inside the bread. The TOTS were perfectly cooked. Service was great especially seeing how busy they are for lunch. Would get the same food again. Will definitely return sooner than later. Prices are average for 2024.

The food was decent. Definitely a little pricey. The fish tacos were good and the fries were fresh and crisp. That burger on the hand, was $22 and just a basic burger with bacon. It was not worth that much money.

This place is pretty cool for dinner and a drink or lunch and... whatever you decide to get lol. I've been here once around dinner time and it was a little crowded. Seemingly, some families and a few folks at the bar. I only got fries and a drink and both were solid. I came here for lunch as well and had a pretty tasty buffalo chicken salad, but the chicken was a little tough. I can't say the service has been stellar when I've gone. But it wasn't bad. I'll come back here though because I do like main street Tucker. Oh yeah, and they have TVs for your sports viewing pleasure

First Time patronizing this establishment . Service was Lacking with No Sense of Urgency. Had To Ask For Condiments. Food was Mediocre. Ambience was Not Impressive. Seating was Uncomfortable.Play List was Aggravating to my Ear Drums. Would Not Patronize Again.

Food was not that good. Service was extremely slow and inattentive with drink glasses empty most of meal. We ate here on a Friday evening in the outside eating area.

Great service and fresh food. Would highly recommend this place for casual dining and drinks.

This should be called Local Playground. There's a big difference between being family friendly and allowing kids to run wildly around the restaurant. We just moved to Tucker and we won't go back to this place. Food was good. Servers were good. Also how does a restaurant run out of salsa? That's a staple!

Nice local pub to check out for lunch or dinner. I stopped in for a late lunch and was able to sit myself and be served right away by the bar staff. I chose the cauliflower wings that where topped with a sweet chili sauce and a side of house ranch, it was a great combination of crispy, sweet, and savory. For my meal i chose a burger with fries which was decent your standard run of the mill type burger and the sauce they provided with it was a nice touch.

Went to another place in lilburn which had plenty of empty seats but was told the wait for a table was 45 mins to an hour cause we didn't have reservations. Went to Local No. 7 and we were greeted warmly and while busy they had a booth for us. Had the vibe of a local watering hole. The young man who took our order was friendly and helpful in recommendations. Our table split an order of wings with a side of effin sauce cause that sauce was no joke. Ordered the spicy humus with assorted veggies and pita. My main was a patty melt on Texas toast which was medium rare and was well seasoned and balanced. With a side of tots made for a solid meal. We stayed long past when we paid the bill and the young man refilled our waters. Would recommend.

My family and I came here on a whim, and we were certainly not disappointed! We started with the Buffalo cauliflower, which was in a large portion and very delicious. The bacon Nader is a game changer; sourced ingredients, and the bacon jam is made in house. I ordered BBQ sauce, but absolutely didn't need it. My wife had the pork tacos, and those were well seasoned and prepared. All in all, we are walking out slowly with full bellies and grateful hearts. And...the service is kind and amazing...a must come!!!

This was a good place for a casual lunch at a dive bar-like spot. It has a good list of drinks, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, etc. The service was quick and attentive, and the food was exactly what you'd expect from a casual restaurant. The lunch hour crowd made this place crowded, but not overwhelmingly so.

We got in and immediately got sat down. Food smelled great and tasted even better! When we say it was loaded, it was LOADED! You'll definitely get your money's worth here.

I wasn't happy with the wait when we first arrived. They were busy and looked understaffed so I gave them a pass. When we were finally seated and our order was taken I had time to take it all in. The restaurant looked like it was filled with regulars. It was cozy and had a chill, laid-back vibe. I was very impressed with the bartender. It looked like she was well-known to many of the customers. I watched as she dealt with everyone and made them feel like they were the only people at the bar at that moment. Her time and care and dedication were noted. I complimented her on how well she handled her duties. The food was great. I ordered the impossible burger and fries with a side of coleslaw. It's one of my go-to dishes when I'm at restaurants like these. This kind of meal is quick and easy. The burger was good and satisfying. We sat inside and enjoyed the cool Georgia breeze blowing through the open door. And, when the train passed right outside the doors it took the experience of dining in Georgia for the first time in four years over the top.

The food is good bar food. The service is friendly and really working to get it right. However, the building, especially the back entrance is disgusting! It smells bad and looks like it has never been cleaned much less cleaned regularly. If they want people to has confidence in the food they serve, they need to clean up.

Burgers/Fries are exceptional here! Service was very friendly and prompt. Good local bar vibe but would not hesitate to take kids there too. Has been around a while so it's well run in my opinion.

Regular, no frills bar. Apparently according to my server, the price of your dish determines how much French fries you get. My cousin ordered the fish and chips that was $2 more than my buffalo chicken wrap, so I asked about the discrepancy in the amount of fries. That's the answer I received. Go figure. Also, the chicken in the wrap isn't like a nice grilled breast, but possibly canned. Definitely a spot to go to as a last resort but there are much tastier and better options in Tucker. It's in a cute neighborhood, though!

This place right here has great food. My favorite dish is their steak and fries.They have those great shoe string type frys. I've had several of their dishes as I visit quite often. Yep another one of the fine dinning establishments in Tucker Ga. Give them a try.

First time dining at Local No. 7. The menu was simple (wings, burgers, salads, wraps, etc.). I had the chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. Plenty of tenders for 2 to share. I would dine here again. Waitress was also attentive and professional.

We ended up here after a Braves game Memorial Day weekend. I have only lived in the area for the past 3 years and was looking for a good burger and beer joint. Local 7 didn't disappoint. The burgers were good and my companion enjoyed the fish and chips. I also enjoyed their beer selection. Finally the service was great, especially considering that we were there on the last night of the three day weekend that I am sure was busy for the staff. We will be back.

Uninformed kitchen staff couldn't give us proper answers regarding food allergens. Food was over priced over all. Fries were old. Overall not worth the time to stop. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Especially if you or anyone in your party has food allergens. Being in the food industry myself that is totally unacceptable.

This was our first time visiting Local No 7 and we'll be back to try more of the menu options. Everything we ordered was really tasty. In the mood for standard bar food, we had wings (accidently ordered boneless) and fish & chips with onion rings subbed. I also grabbed the spinach salad. To begin we had the fried pickles & jalapeno slices. Not sure if this was the case, but everything tasted like it had been prepared there/homemade (ranch, raspberry vinaigrette, batter on fish, etc). Service was friendly although it did take a bit too long to get our food. While we waited we enjoyed some cocktails - first round was perfectly balanced alcohol to "fillers." Second round definitely was heavier on the "filler" but that is typical of restaurant/bars. Looking forward to trying a burger my next time visiting - pictures online look fantastic!

Local No 7 is exactly what it claims to be - a neighborhood bar and grill. Fried selections abound; but there are also plenty of burgers and salads on the menu. I've been a couple of times, and while nothing has knocked my socks off enough to order it again, I like that they offer tots as well as fries. Why get fries when you can get tots, amirite? The 'shroom burger was a bit disappointing for me (the bun isn't toasted or steamed, and the portobello mushrooms are raw!) but my girlfriend was happy with her cauliflower tacos. We enjoyed the fried pickles we had last time, and the beer selection is solid enough. The servers are friendly, and it's always a safe bet.

Place came highly recommended by a friend, especially there steak sandwich with chimichurri sauce. The place has a typical pub vibe with typical bar/pub style food. Nothing too spectacular but delicious. Located in the older part of the city, the place shares bathrooms with another shop but it's till a comfortable spot with descent prices and good portions.

Service was a little slow but the food made up for it! I'm sad I don't live close to this place to be able to get the pork tacos again and again! It wasn't my original choice either. We wanted to get the veggie wrap and southwest wrap and split halfsies but our server let us know they were out of the black bean pico which comes on both. So we went with the pulled pork tacos and buffalo chicken wrap (no blue cheese). We got tots and sweet potato fries. The wrap was good but VERY spicy! But let's focus on the star here. Those tacos! The pork had a great smokey flavor, not too much (or too sweet) bbq sauce, coleslaw was cold, and the crispy onion pieces on top just set these off! Highly recommend!

Once again the absolute worst!! It's an on going joke with all my friends and family that live here in tucker. How long will it take to get service and how long will it take to eat out. 1 person 30 minutes til greeted and acknowledge. hour n half to get a simple burger. I think it's time we get a new restaurant here. They can focus on the "sister" restaurant Fords bbq. That runs out of food every single day lol lol what a joke!

The benches outside were pretty cute. When we went in we sat down pretty quickly. Unfortunately it took us over an hour to get food from the time we sat down. Pretty ridiculous. In that time we did receive chips and salsa. It was pretty sad. The food was unremarkable. I got a veggie wrap. It was nice and fresh but pretty empty. The people I was with got two different burgers and they said it was okay. Another one got a salmon salad but she said it was okay. The sear on the salmon was good but we could've made a better salad at home. The restrooms are shared with some of the other restaurants I think. It was trash. Stinky and dirty. There was no hand soap. It was not good. The music was great though. That's where the stars come from.

So glad this place does take out, because the Mexican restaurant across the street next to Village Burger does not, unless you order through DoorDash or another delivery service. I recently ordered the Philly cheesesteak and sweet potato fries from here, as well as the lemon pepper 10 pc wings with celery. The prices were all pretty reasonable compared to some other places and portions were generous. It didn't take long before my food came out. The cheesesteak was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like about the it was the red peppers. I've never really cared for the taste of them. I prefer green peppers for some reason. I liked that they put mushrooms on it and it had lots of meat though. I would ask for Mayo on the bread next time if anything, cuz although it was super soft, it was a little dry. The ketchup and mustard they provided came in handy. The sweet potato fries were absolutely perfect, soft, and salted well. The wings were great. I love lemon pepper, and they have big wings here. They were fried nice and hard, although next time I'll see if I can get all flats, even for an extra cost. The drummettes were a little too hard and almost tore up the roof of my mouth, if it wasn't for the ranch. The flats were perfectly cooked and seasoned though. I would see if I could extra celery next time too, as the portion on that seemed a little lacking. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. I would like to try more wings and sweet potato fries, as well as their Reuben and French dip (two of my other favorites). This is a great place to get take out from if you're in the Tucker area. The sports bar seemed like a chill spot for dinner too.

Yay. They have really good food here and it's a good place for family but I'm thinking lately it's been my hubby and I for date night so we like this place a lot

I really liked the vibe of this place. Though it wasn't extraordinary food, I could see this easily being a go to place to have dinner and a drink, relax and watch a game. On our visit, it was really busy, so the staff seemed overwhelmed, but they still took care of us. We didn't feel rushed, got to enjoy the outside and sit at the bar while we ate and watched tv and caught up with our family. N they had a good selection of beers and cocktails. Though I had no issues with the food, it did feel like just bar food to me. I enjoyed myself and would come again.

We spent a few hours cozied up at the bar, on a Sunday afternoon. The Braves game was on & the draft beer was cold n tasty. I enjoyed the dry county summer fest draft. We shared the nachos. When our sandwiches arrived, we were pretty full. I packed my turkey sandwich up to go. I love how everyone seems to know each other & how friendly the bartender n wait staff are. It's definitely a good place to go if you're hungry & casual. Nice chatting with the folk around us. We will definitely go back.

Freakin' Incan was closed on Veterans' Day Sunday this year so our lunch plans were instantly dashed. But Local No 7 was a short walk away so we decided to check them out. Seems like your typical sports bar with some good ole' American bar food. It was bustling on a Sunday afternoon - there was a Falcons game and a Atlanta United game, so every TV had something playing. Our server was hard to flag down but when he WAS around he was super friendly and helpful. We ordered the chili, which according to the menu was award winning. We also decided to try the steak and fries, which also came highly recommended by our server (over the fish and chips). The chili was pretty tasty, especially with all that cheese. The steak was cooked well, but the chimichurri was a bit thick and chunky and weird to me but the taste was fine. Fries and greens were average. Overall, Local No 7 is not bad. It just seems like your typical bar with good ole American food. It's a bit out of the way for me to come back, but it's pretty good if you're looking for something of the sort in the area.

Consistently good food and great service. Definitely try the buffalo cauliflower. It's the best around. Good menu for me as a carnivore and my girlfriend that isn't.

It's your typical bar fare. They have hamburgers, and other bar foods. The food is good and the service was great. I haven't been here in a while but it will be on my list. If you haven't been here you really should check them out.

The setting is like a backyard bbq vibe. The drinks are definitely worth it ( heavy on the hand) . The staff was top notch and extremely friendly

What better place to visit on your Birthday is visit the Local 7. This place is a short drive from Stone Mountain park. We asked to sit outside which was a little wait but not bad as the others who had to wait over hour. The Buffalo chicken wrap was really good very impressive spicy flavor but I do recommend getting the green beans versus the tater tot's.

Let's unwind! Whew, is it the food or the fun? I can't decide. Either way, you will enjoy it all! Best service staff, bartenders, hostess...should I go on? Almost feels like "Cheers", where everybody knows your name.
