Great breakfast-lunch restaurant. We had brunch with some pancakes, flatbread and cheese curds. Everything was so flavourful and tasty that I have to give more than 5 stars. Especially for the southwest flatbread which was phenomenal. Amazing experience for us.

Really cute spot about 20 mins from AC where you can get a good breakfast. It’s great for mixed diets as they have food for vegans and omnivores. The service was on point here as well. If anything my friend and I were slowing them down. At first we thought they needed to move the tables quickly, but later we realized they had a large dining room in the back with plenty of seating. I ordered the vegan scramble with a cranberry juice. My friend ordered the 3 little pigs omelette with a cranberry juice. Both meals came with home fries and choice of bread. I had an English muffin and he had wheat toast. The food was delicious. We tore it up. Everything was seasoned well and had flavor. We will definitely be back next time we are in AC.

Great breakfast menu with wraps, meals, and specials. Everything we ordered was delicious and large portuons. Wish they had more bagel options on the menu. Pickup or dine in, and there's plenty of parking in the lot. Very friendly service and my order was ready within 20 minutes.

We come every time we are in the area. The vegan options are plentiful, and the sandwich came stacked! We have only ever had wonderful service. Good latte options with some unique recipes. And let me tell you, they have the only avocado toast that might this millennial go broke. Generous serving of sliced tomatoes, avocado, pickled red onions, seasoning. I get it every time even if I get something else. It's that good. If you are at all curious, get it.

**Update- Just went for breakfast this morning knocked it out of the park guys they did last time. We ate in this time which was great, comfortable. Definitely still give a five stars worth the stop!**. California omelette - Wow, my new favorite. I've ordered it as delivery 3 times and perfect. Usually something's always missed on the delivery order but this had the fried potatoes, avocado, pico, grape jelly, ketchup, toast wrap separately..... Just done perfect. I used to go to the spot when it was AC sub shop then it was English Creek eatery, I'm really glad that there's a good place here. Definitely going to try the menu.

This is my first time in the new location. I'm happy to say that it may be a new location but it is still the amazing food!! The Korean Pig Wings are so good and literally fell off the bone. The owner is extremely friendly and wants to make sure that you enjoy all of your food. Our server Marie was very nice and attentive. My only regret is that I got full and couldn't eat anymore. Lol. I will be back soon!! If you haven't tried it yet, get to The Local's Spot!! You will not be sorry.

This charming little mini diner is perfect for a brunch date !! My partner took me here for my birthday and I was able to get vegan french toast !! They have a vegan portion on their breakfast and lunch menu. Such a hidden gem !! And our super efficient server Jake, had fantastic energy that kept us entertained the entire time. We will definitely be back !!

Very friendly team and Great food! Nice place for a casual brunch or lunch. I really enjoyed my Philly cheese stake and chicken noodle soup! It was better than most famous places that I've tried before.

Food is good. My favorite is the onion rings with the dipping sauce. Atmosphere isn't all that great, but the food is good.

Stopped by this spot while in the area and was not disappointed! Pricing was reasonable, food was ready quickly, and the staff was friendly. Got a ham sub and chicken tenders with fries- both yummy. We will definitely be back!

I'm not a person to go out for breakfast haven't since I was in my 20s but after coming back from the airport the kids wanted to grab some breakfast so I found this place. I loved it instantly it reminded me of my childhood. I came for breakfast got the local, kids got the French toast. Everything was fantastic and familiar but even better. This place reignited my love for enjoying breakfast out. The staff was wonderful and attentive as well.

Wow!! Why haven't I tried this place before!! The veggie pannini, the Quesadillas, and the falafel wraps were so delicious. I highly highly recommend everyone to try their falafel wrap as it tasted like nothing I've ever had before. Service was quick and akin to a local dinner with a variety of seating options including booths. I will definitely be coming here again.

I don't eat pork! Will never try! The restaurant is not my taste! Sorry, try the place and come to your own conclusion!

First time here and will definitely be back! It's a small place not many tables but that's ok. Seemed more like a take out place. Everyone was very nice, portions sizes Very good and in general great experience!

Diner style restaurant serving up unique dishes for breakfast and lunch. I went for breakfast and wasn't too impressed. They have a serious coffee selection but I wasn't blown away with their breakfast fare. I got their pork roll, egg, and cheese on a roll and a side of scrapple. Ive had better breakfast sandwiches at bagel shops. They up charge for a side of breakfast potatoes/hash browns which a lot of other actual diners don't. Overall, wasn't too impressed. I heard good things about their lunch dishes so I'll have to come back and try that.

Nice local diner. Souvlaki salad is a big portion. Grilled chicken was seasoned well and juicy. We would've eaten twice as many red onion wings. Crayons and kids menu provided as well as an courtyard for passing the time with the kiddo while we waited for our food.

MDW, and I decided to give T L S a try, and we're glad we did. One of the specials today was a Cuban sandwich we we both ordered, the house cooked pernil was very tender, nicely seasoned, and delicious, that, ham, Swiss, pickle was pressed in in a great roll. This was the perfect presentation of a classical Cuban sandwich.

After moving away, I'm not in the area that often to know the newer restaurants or not. My boyfriend and I decided to grab a late lunch here since we were in the area of this shopping center and good thing we did! Our server was a very nice lady who knew the menu very well. When we ordered something, she took the initiative to tell us exactly what we were getting to ensure we were happy with our decisions (which we were). I ordered the CBLT with fries. My boyfriend got the Italian Hoagie with fries. We loved their homemade sriracha aioli sauce that the fries come with!

First time being here. Booths only in the front and then there is table seating in the back. Was seated right away. If you have a hard time walking, from the parking lot to the door is a pretty good distance. Definitely drop off those who can't walk far at the door before parking. First impression, looked clean. But the floors are extremely sticky! Like disgustingly sticky. Ceiling tiles also look very dirty. There is ripped booths in the back. Menu was small enough but had a lot of choices depending on your dietary preferences / restrictions. Ordered the breakfast quesadilla. Order came out fast! Hot! Best breakfast quesadilla I have ever had in my life! Even asked if the tortilla were homemade. Waitress said no. Service was absolutely perfection! So happy we were recommended to come here! Will be back and start making our way through the menu! Regulars were addressed by their first names. Just pleased. (Does need a good cleaning though. But other then that, great place!)

George beats the best breakfast in South Jersey. The restaurant is located near the Shoprite mall off of English Creek. I strongly suggest you go to the locals and George will make you the best breakfast you ever had. Stopped in for a late lunch but saw that they served breakfast all day. Ordered cream chipped beef and a waffle. Cream chipped beef was good but the home fries it came with were even better. Waffle was very good too. Wil definitely stop again when in the area.

Out shopping and used Yelp to find a place for lunch. The pictures and reviews looked good, so we said let's check it out. The menu must have changed as nothing pictured was available. The special was a meatball parmigiana sandwich, but the meatballs were not good. They were small and obviously purchased and not made. The Italian sausage sandwich was very good. Service was ok. No special ambiance, just a lunch spot. 4% surcharge for credit cards, owner/manager was nice when asked how things were and I explained I did not care for the meatballs, said he would note that. Maybe try if in the area?

Tried this little diner for the first time. Nice variety on the menu with reasonable prices. I had the Frenchy with fries. Very good. I think I will try the omelette next time. They looked awesome. Disappointed that they have 0 desserts after seeing all the delicious pictures on their profile. They said they haven't had desserts in a long time. They need to update their site.

Good not great. Food was decent. Service efficient. Ambiance was more like a counter service bagel/sandwich shop with booths than a diner.

My new favorite lunch spot, and I'm not a local. The friendly staff still greets me warmly and provides great service. I'm partial to grilled cheese, but the friends I've brought there have enjoyed all their meals. Unfortunately I discovered it because of many trips to Rothman, but if you want to turn a medical appointment into an outing, I'd highly recommend, (and it's also not far from Boscovs! Bonus!)

The Local's Spot is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition. They continue to wow my boyfriend and I with the delicious items and quality service. All of their staff is super friendly and accommodating. You really can't go wrong coming here to eat. I haven't had one thing that I've disliked from their menu. They also have a gluten free friendly selection which is hard to come by!

The restaurant is in a strip mall and is very unassuming. The decor is diner chic and casual. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. At first glance, the menu did not look like much until we looked at the back. POW! Great stuff PLUS daily specials on the chalk board. We frequently dine out and I don't often write reviews, but this place deserves your attention and patronage. Great prices and Great food. The Greek Salad, Ruben and Burgers are true standouts. I had a burger cooked medium to perfection, on a fresh brioche bun with sauteed onions, provolone cheese and au jus! Melted in my mouth - Yum! Can't wait to return. You MUST try this place! It will immediately become your go to!

the people there were really great, truly. But the food just wasn't. The bang bang shrimp sauce was too thick and Mayo-y. Meatball park sandwich was okay but needed seasoning, fries are standard and bland. It just wasn't worthwhile, I don't understand the hype.

Many vegan options, super yummy food and a cute, 50s-diner-adjacent atmosphere. I got a vegan CBLT with sweet potato fries and my partner got a CBLT with salt+vinegar fries. Service was great! Our server helped me clean up a spill and was so nice about it, which we really appreciated. The location is super close to a boba place too, which is convenient. I am absolutely coming back here :)

Brooklyn and Jersey Burgers!! Amazing craft burgers. Last time we were here we shared the French Dip Burger which was also incredible!!

We had a last minute lunch today and we were beyond satisfied.. our waitress was spot on with her recommendations of the menu. She recommended the spicy cheese curds and explained them to a tee. They are spicy but incredibly delicious for anyone interested. Cheese steaks are phenomenal and the falafel wrap is a amazing!

We accidentally ended up here during their first week and have been coming back as much as possible. The food is FANTASTIC (like seriously fantastic! Delicious and high quality!) and very reasonably priced (as in, they should probably raise the prices but I don't want to tell them to do that because then I can't go as much). The menu has a nice variety and I've been working my way around trying the different items but it's really hard because I also have certain items I love and just want to keep eating. I have yet to try anything I don't like. There are great options for vegetarians but also plenty of meat lover items (great burgers, ribs, sandwiches, etc.) The staff is always sweet and friendly. The chef comes around and chats with the guests whenever he gets the chance. I've spent a lot of time working in the food industry and meeting chefs, he is possibly the most humble of any I've met. He seems genuinely interested to know his customers and connect with them over the food.

This place has come so far from where it was as Caroline's Dining, as a former BOH for Caroline's the food was good but not THIS good. Kyriakos truly has brought a gem to the bay, The Korean Pig Wings shine from the "Starters" portion of the menu. We also opted out of Charlie's wings for the Local's Spot to take with us home as they are also delicious. Everything on the menu is tasty and I absolutely will be back every time I visit SP.

Customer services needs training in hospitality. Placed a to-go order, they couldn't have rushed me off the phone quick enough - and when I came to pick up my food - same, poor attitude and they got my order completely wrong. Its a shame, I heard the food was good. Staff is less to be desired however.

Today we had lunch here for the second time. Amazing food .... excellent addition to somers point. The chef is top notch , simple food but everything is fresh and delicious. Home made chocolate mousse was the best I ever had .....it's a must try

Met coworkers here for lunch yesterday, they both had the CBLT and I ordered the quesadillas. Everything was so fresh and good. You can tell this restaurant takes pride in their food. Our waitress Nicole was very good. She was attentive and friendly and refilled our drinks without even having to ask . We met the owner and he was also very nice. It's hard to get good service and great food in one place but the locals spot is the place to go. We will be coming back again!

Stopped in here the other night just to check out the food , I did have an opportunity to meet the Chef who was taking the time to come out and check on people eating , which is pretty decent . I ordered the spicy cheese curds which were cooked perfect and the marinara was delicious served with just the right amount of basil , I also ordered two different flat breads both were amazing, I will delve back to try more food . Ended my meal with two lemon drop martinis .

My wife and I just moved to the area and we love trying new places. As a real estate agent, it's important that I explore and try all the restaurants in the area. Local spot was are first date night spot and it did not disappoint. The food was great and the service was fast. This will become one of our go to spots for a long time to come. Highly recommend.

It's always a great experience at The Local's Spot! Chef K puts a lot of heart in to his establishment and making sure he cooks with fresh quality ingredients. The restaurant is immaculate and has fun decor. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We are so happy to support this local gem.

I always have a good meal at this restaurant. The owner/chef puts love into everything that he makes. I've never been disappointed.

Just finished eating here for the first time. Had pig wings for app, really enjoyed the crispy outside and sauce on them. He got the CBLT (chicken BLT) and I had the Latin bird sandwich (turkey burger, fried avo, Monterey jack and Pico). We ate everything without a single complaint! This is the first time in a long while that there is a decent chef running things, hope he's here to stay!

Ordered delivery here via doordash the other night.. wanted to try something new and was tired of your regular pizza joints and Chinese food places. Everything was delicious here, got the Korean pig wings and San genaro flatbread pizza. It came hot and was very tasty, a lot of flavor. Kind of pricey but definitely a good try and would probably come back again.

Five stars for service! We were looking for outdoor dining (boo Covid!) and found this spot. We were going to sit outside and would have been happy to but the waitress offered us the enclosed deck area instead. As there were t any other people in there we were happy to sit there. The waitresses were so welcoming. They were kind to our children. Food came out quickly and was great. We had turkey burger, veggie burger, and a cheese quesadilla for the kids. All delicious. They were playing great music. The manager came out to say hi and see that we were happy. We so appreciated the warm welcome and delicious meal. Thank you!

I'm not one to write reviews but this was deserving. The other day, I had an egg platter and my husband had the burger, and to say the food was delicious is an understatement. The home-made sauce they give with fries is out of this world. I definitely recommend coming here and supporting a local small business. The food and service blow any chain restaurant out of the water. Our waitress Nichole was the icing on the cake. She is simply outstanding and gave us the best service we ever had, she ran circles around the others. Kudos to the cook and his waitress

I went last night for the first time and had the French Onion Burger, Korean Pig Wings, and Coconut Cloud cake. Everything was amazing The wings fell off the bone, the burger with the fabulous au jus taste just like French onion soup, and the toasted coconut on the cake topped everything off to perfection. Chef Kyriakos came out to make sure that our meals were to our standards and they absolutely were. The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures. So I had to go back today!! Today I got the French Onion Burger and the Banana Fosters cheesecake. I don't usually like bananas but the cheesecake is phenomenal. You definitely should check it out!! (Picture with the Chef and of the pig wings were from last night. Burger and cheesecake are from today. Lol)

Outstanding! Food was amazing. I don't think there was one thing we had that wasn't delicious and cooked perfectly. Staff was very educated on the menu and informative. Fried banana peppers and fried pickles were amazing. Owner/chef was also very involved to ensure quality met his standards and came out to greet our party. Highly recommend!!

Yelp directed us to a location where the restaurant evidently used to be; now, later the same evening, their location on the Yelp map has been updated. We were disappointed to miss them, as the menu on Yelp looked good.
