The Lodge & Spa at Pico Bonito

Very comfortable bed and room. Appreciate the no slip shower mat. Loved the 3 hour nature hike with Noel. We saw many birds including toucans and capuchin monkeys. The mermaid waterfall and wading area was very refreshing…but not an easy walk. Food at the hotel is excellent. Going for a massage now in their lovely spa area.

We had such a magical experience here! Absolutely beautiful grounds with unique wildlife and vegetation. We saw hummingbirds and toucans. Staff are so courteous and welcoming. They even gave us a beautiful local flower for Valentine’s Day! The only thing I would suggest for improvement is having the hot tub available for use without having to book at the spa. Can’t wait to return here!

This is a favorite lodge of ours as we have visited 7-8 times. The cabins are comfortable and well equipped but retain the feel of being in a rain forest. The staff are friendly and helpful, pointing out things to do and where to find the abundance of local wildlife. This is truly a birders paradise. I left my Merlin app open by mistake and recorded over 20 birds in 15 minutes. That's just a normal morning. Highly recommended.

Perfecto. Joel was an excellent guide - patient and knowledgeable! Recommend this place. Food is great! Service great! Joel will show the many treasures the Pico Bonito lodge has to offer. ||My massage with Marta was sooo wonderful. I truly felt love emmanate from her hands. I was left in a healing, loving afterglow. Muchas gracias Marta! The massage of a lifetime. ||I hope to return to this magical place. Loved the monkeys and birds!

The hike with arnel was excellent. He was a huge help and very knowledgeable about flora, fauna, and animals....|The waterfalls were breathtaking. I would say it is moderately difficult compared to other trails in central America. | Best that we have ever seen. |Best|Nick and Riann Thompson

Joel was very informal and supportive, which made the trail a joyfully peaceful experience. Everything was beautiful! The butterfly garden was stunning, and the snake room was interesting, though the snakes were quite sleepy and reluctant to come out of hiding. Overall, the experience was a delight!

The lodge and spa at pico bonito was the best place I stayed for birding and lodging. The restaurant staff was truly excellent, especially Eduardo and Guillermo. The front staff was wonderful as was the manager Christopher who made sure that everything was perfect. I truly enjoyed the experience and will come back again.

Excellent service, very friendly staff. Portions are big but 1/2 portions available Food is delicious and there is lots of variety many Honduras meals but not exclusively . The waiters are very , cheerful prompt and happy to serve you . Good job!
