The Lodge by Two Robbers

What a gem! This corner spot is super cozy and bright. The staff was so friendly and made us right at home. We sat at the bar but might come back soon hoping to sit by the fireplace. I enjoyed a fun matcha/gin cocktail and the Espresso martini! Hubby liked the local brews.

I mourned the loss of Hawthorne's, which was an institution in the neighborhood. The Lodge is more than worthy as a successor. First off, I think Two Robbers as a liquor brand is (quietly and slowly) becoming one of the best in Philly. I find their vodka sodas to be the perfect balance of flavor and lightness. They just have to bring back their OG mango flavor one day please... Anyway, it's an honor to have a rising brand in the neighborhood. The Lodge itself is cozy and welcoming. Service is phenomenal all around. Lexi the GM is awesome. Go Birds. Can't wait for them to add more Lodge-themed decor as they grow. I have high expectations as winter rolls around. The food hits the spot. Chef's done an amazing job with both the pub and smash burgers. They should really offer a combo of both (The Two Robbers Two Burger Duo or something). Their $10 burger and fries deal rivals the storied $10 combo at Fountain Porter. Really happy with The Lodge so far. Grab a drink, a burger, cheer on the Iggles. Can't wait to see where the Robbers take this concept.

I had a delicious lager beer, a mediocre pub burger, and I guess, OK customer service experience. The beer was beautiful in color clarity and taste (yum!),but the burger was almost flavorless and felt completely greasy to hold (I had to use a napkin to stop from feeling like I was dipping my hands in grease every time I held it). The fries were nice and crunchy and well seasoned. The pickle was super thin, super soggy, and it tasted as if it were going bad. When I asked the server about the pickle, she checked in with the kitchen and then came back with the explanation that the pickle just happened to be what was left at the bottom of the barrel. She didn’t offer to exchange it for a good one, or two give me a slight discount for the bad one. The ambience was very nice. I ate outdoors and the weather was very pleasant. Inside, it looked nice and clean. They had just opened for the evening. I live nearby, so I will try them again for a different dish, but today was not a win for either of us, I think.

Go out of your way for this burger. You will thank me. I was compelled to write this because the pub burger was so good. Best burger I’ve had in Philly. Lived here for 10 years. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo. Overall Two Robbers Lodge is exceptional. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood and south Philly restaurant scene. Will be back soon and often. My wife and I went opening week. Sat and ate at the bar with Ian. My wife raved about the tomato martini thing that everyone is talking about. I had the two robbers martini and a mojito, both good. Vibe is great. Laid back, cozy, comfy. Busy and loud when we went as expected. Caesar salad and chicken parm were good too. Went because I like the two robbers canned vodka sodas and their martini, they didn’t miss. Going back regularly for that burger.

Had such a great night here! Our server was extremely attentive and there is an array of creative dish options on the menu. Caesar salad is definitely a must get! The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy and we can’t wait to come back to try the brunch menu

We visited The Lodge by Two Robbers around Thanksgiving, it was a great experience. We went because my son loves their canned drinks and said he had an amazing burger there . My wife and I both had the smash burger , we both loved it , great French fries too. The atmosphere was great, loved the sound system and the music . Our server and all the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Oh, and my son had the fish and chips , said they were great . Obviously we enjoyed our visit and will make it one of our regular stops on every visit to South Philly !!!

Cocktails were delicious, burger was delicious, lasagna was delicious, and of course the foot long mozzarella stick. Glad to have Two Robbers in my own neighborhood!

Amazing vibe. Food was immaculate which is impressive for a restaurant that just opened! We had the wedge salad, foot long mozz stick, pub burger, and chicken parm. I also had a martini. Everything was incredible but the standouts were the wedge and the parm. The wedge came topped with the most perfectly cooked piece of thick cut bacon. It practically melted in my mouth. And the chicken parm was one of the most tender and succulent I've ever had, and my wife is Italian...
