The Newest Restaurants In Philadelphia - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"There are times when you're in Bella Vista and just want a burger, fish and chips, or a footlong mozzarella stick. Thankfully, Two Robbers has opened The Lodge to fulfill all of your cravings. Besides the comfort food, there’s also a full bar menu with over 15 cocktails, as well as a $34 two martini and basket of fries deal. We checked out The Lodge. Read our thoughts here." - candis mclean, alison kessler

The Lodge by Two Robbers - Review - Bella Vista - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"We really want to like The Lodge. After all, it comes from the team behind Fishtown’s Two Robbers, and we can’t stop eating their smashburger. And while The Lodge makes a solid thick boy and crispy fries, the burger is about all we can recommend (for now). Their foot-long mozzarella stick and both chicken and eggplant parms are served with a marinara so smoky that it’s all you can taste, and the salmon crudo with capers in a gloopy oil is a bagel-esque experiment gone wrong. We love the doo-wop heavy soundtrack and the cocktails, so if you’re in Bella Vista, grab the pub burger and a blackberry mojito, or bring a friend for the $34 two martinis and fries combo. photo credit: Alison Kessler photo credit: Alison Kessler photo credit: Alison Kessler photo credit: Alison Kessler Pause Unmute RESERVE A TABLE" - Alison B. Had such a great night here! Our server was extremely attentive and there is an array of creative dish options on the menu. Caesar salad is definitely a must get! The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy and we can’t wait to come back to try the brunch menu

Go out of your way for this burger. You will thank me. I was compelled to write this because the pub burger was so good. Best burger I’ve had in Philly. Lived here for 10 years. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo. Overall Two Robbers Lodge is exceptional. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood and south Philly restaurant scene. Will be back soon and often. My wife and I went opening week. Sat and ate at the bar with Ian. My wife raved about the tomato martini thing that everyone is talking about. I had the two robbers martini and a mojito, both good. Vibe is great. Laid back, cozy, comfy. Busy and loud when we went as expected. Caesar salad and chicken parm were good too. Went because I like the two robbers canned vodka sodas and their martini, they didn’t miss. Going back regularly for that burger.

Unreal. Martinis were so yummy. ( get the Ceaser salad, the bacon, and the burger. ) This is going to kill it in the winter time. We needed a lodge-like vibe restaurant and this is so cozy. It’s perfect. Happy this opened around the corner.

Was super excited to come here and try the food since I love the other location.. however we got there at 9:40 on a Saturday and the kitchen was closed, no mention of this of the website as their open til midnight and says diner service til close. They were also out of one of the vodka soda flavors. New restaurants should be on their A game to make a good impression, sadly they were not. Although our server was sweet. Also a 3% kitchen fee for a closed kitchen seems ironic

Amazing new experience. Was very excited to try to food and it did not disappoint at all. The staff were pleasant and the drinks were really good. Will definitely bring people back with me to try the breakfast

Amazing vibe. Food was immaculate which is impressive for a restaurant that just opened! We had the wedge salad, foot long mozz stick, pub burger, and chicken parm. I also had a martini. Everything was incredible but the standouts were the wedge and the parm. The wedge came topped with the most perfectly cooked piece of thick cut bacon. It practically melted in my mouth. And the chicken parm was one of the most tender and succulent I've ever had, and my wife is Italian...

very nice friendly staff. few things are a bit overpriced like a $9 beer but the$16 spicy marg was worth every penny. the chicken parm wasn’t too crispy but had good flavor.

Dined here on 7/19; we had reservations. Started off with two espresso martinis: not made well. The blend of vodka to espresso ratio was not done well. At times too much vodka and others too coffee forward. Their “famous” martini was too strong, IMO. Their footlong mozz Stick is good but the sauce has a smoky flavor to it. Don’t overdo this. Straight marinara is always a crowd pleaser. The ceaser salad was the best thing we had. All in all, we dined for about a half hour because we felt underwhelmed. I really want to see them succeed because I love their canned vodka sodas and their fishtown location is great!
