We stayed here for a week in April as a big family of 8 adults and 9 kids - age 1-9yrs - and had one of the best weeks ever. The weather was unusually cold and rainy but every room was cosy and warm. Everything from the food to the decor was perfect. We had half board including a spectacular catered dinner every night cooked by chef Teresa. All the staff were so nice and tolerant of some pretty boisterous kids. And there’s so much to do nearby. We will be back!

This stunning lodge should be renamed The Lodge Idyll Ronda. It is extremely well run with a personal touch. There is room for large groups to be together or to have individual personal space. We arranged in advanced for massages and a yoga class which were excellent. Our group of 12 had dinners and breakfasts catered by the hotel staff associated with The Lodge (hotellafuente.com). All meals were outstanding. The staff created beautiful table decor with the flowers from the lush gardens. |The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable and look even better than photos on the website. There is a wonderful art collection that adds to the ambiance. If we had the slightest request or tiniest glitch it was taken care of quickly and cheerfully. It is really not possible to describe the beauty and the service associated with The Lodge Ronda. I am already dreaming of returning.

I booked this lodge for 2 night at the end of January 2024 for me and 4 of my girlfriends. Prior to our arrival, Alicia was very communicative and helpful with arranging our check in time, chef -prepared meals at the lodge, wine selections to have on hand, and massages in the massage studio there on the property. ||We drove straight to the lodge where Alicia met us to check us in and make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The lodge, itself, is so spacious and upon our arrival, the fireplace had a welcoming fire going. We each had our own rooms, with doors opening to the outside patio. The views were exceptional, and the weather was so nice, that we slept with doors open. Rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable. ||We told Alicia we were planning to meet a tour guide in Ronda city center. She gave us the name and number of a local taxi driver to call for a reliable, safe ride. He was fabulous and was at our door to pick us up within 15 minutes, then came back to town to drive us home when we were ready. ||Our chef-prepared meals were fabulous, and the chefs waited until we had all had our spa appointments to prepare the meal and serve to us at the long table together. The masseuse did a phenomenal job, as well. ||I cannot recommend this property enough. A perfect spot to gather with friends, family, or colleagues. Be sure to make time to just spend on the property to enjoy all of its beauty and amenities!

I have stayed many times at The Lodge and for me it really is one of the best places on earth! The energy is amazing, the house is superb, the team behind always super helpful! We love lying by the wonderful pool, renting e-bikes to explore the most beautiful countryside, eat amazing food prepared by the team and chill in the wonderful living room or one of the many terraces. I will be back soon…

We held a birthday party at the Lodge in September for around 30 people. Everyone stayed either at the Lodge or at the lovely hotel. The service was fantastic, relaxed and flexible. Nothing was too much bother, the team were clearly very experienced at running events and for the weekend set up tables and chairs in the garden for the larger meals, organised transport for the guests coming from the hotel, produced a delicious birthday cake ( with not much notice) and generally sorted out any minor glitches. All was done with great charm. We had the private chef for several nights again with fantastic food. One of the cleaners even offered to drive a guest to Ronda when his taxi was late so he wouldn't miss his train.||All our guests had an amazing time so much so that some booked to stay extra days at the hotel!||I would highly recommend the Lodge (and hotel) for events like this or for a family holiday or group of friends staying. The flexibility means you can self cater, have all meals provided or somewhere between the two.||Plus it definitely looks better in real life than in the pictures!||Thanks again to the great team.

I had a fantastic few days at the Lodge with a group of friends. Out of this world. The silence and tranquility impressed me most! The birdsong! The whole place just feels so peaceful and in balance. On top of that the service was great, the beds very comfy, the grounds very well cared for. Oh - and the pool!!! I will definitely be back!!
