This place is nice, really nice. Who'd a thunk there'd be a lodge in the middle of Phoenix. A faux lodge at least. Looks like one, feels like one and tastes like one! With its rustic fireplace, timber ceilings, a couple of country-style bars, Antlers, Antlers everywhere - not to mention the namesake Sasquatches abounding, and huge TVs aplenty - for the sports-oriented, Sasquatch has a lot to offer not just in atmosphere, but in great service and hospitality, not to mention some pretty darn good eats. We were pleasantly surprised during our first visit, which I must say will not be our last! Plus, as it may not be humongous, it is diverse and eclectic as can be. They offer both off the wall and standard eats as Fried Pickle Chips Chicken Wings, fried pickle chips to bacon wrapped jalapenos, sliders, mac and cheese, to tater tots and waffle fries and wraps. Not only that, but they have a great offering of brews and an extensive reserve of whiskeys! Our sampling included their Green Chile Pork Stew composed of a delicious and tender slow roasted pork, with New Mexico green chilies, pepperjack cheese, tasty and fresh serrano peppers served with flour tortillas - this is a must have, I highly recommend it! When in this neck of the woods, Sasquatch will be our go-to, it's well worth the visit in oh so many ways.
