We stumbled upon this lookout while driving into Scranton. We returned just before sunset for a truly amazing view!

Beautiful peaceful spot to just relax for a few!

Beautiful view. It is not far from Ruby Falls so I recommend doing both. Otherwise just driving to Lookout Mountain, well, there isn't anything to do but take pictures; and that didn't take long. So unless you are in the area, I wouldn't drive a distance just to come here, but that just me. The landmarks are pretty cool, and if you catch the time right, you can find a "solider " walking the grounds who will give some historical information about Lookout Mountain.

I love the night time view of the city, available anytime, parking area can only fit, few cars, the only hassle you might get to experience.
