4 Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Los Angeles - Eater LA

"For those hankering for a Vietnamese sandwich in and around South LA, head into the Los Angeles Banh Mi Company where Hoang Pham, the shop’s owner, operator, and chef, has been serving the Huntington Park community since 2017." - Eater Staff

This isn’t bahn mi anymore! We’re going to El Salvador though with tortas de pavo, jamon, y frijol con crema. They have a lot of pan dulce and other Latin American goodies. The lady who tends the counter is really nice and she will make your sandwiches fresh right after you order. The tortas were so flavorful with soft bread 😋😋. Don’t skip this one if you love a good treat.

One of the best sandwich places in the area. The bread is so fresh, the lemongrass BBQ chicken is absolutely delicious, you can add egg and avocado. Loved the rose tea with milk. Can't wait to go back and try other things. The owner is super polite and courteous. The only bad thing is that I decided to share the sandwich, next time I know I can eat the whole thing 😅

In a city plagued by tacos and bad fast food, it’s refreshing to have a little food diversity. Asian food in Huntington Park is mediocre at best. So yes please all u dope Asian spots in the 626 come over :(). The food itself is excellent with tasty sides to compliment. the restaurant itself is a modern with good aesthetics. I’m glad Hoang set up shop here in a city that needs authentic, hip and good restaurants like this. I’ll be a regular for sure.

Let me just say the ingredients are definitely taste and look fresh. Other than that this is nothing more than a torta (Mexican sandwich). I got the chicken lemongrass and pork sandwich. Both of the meats have a good taste but are a little dry. I would have really enjoyed a sauce with this this sandwich. A good place for a quick bite, but idk if I would return since the price is a little high for a simple sandwich.

It’s a small business I was introduced by one of my coworkers and Lord has she given me a good recommendation! I love love their coffee and don’t get me stared with their teas! I love their egg rolls! I find this place filled with good energy and vibes! The workers are really great in customer service!

THEY NEED TO UPDATE THIS IMFORMATION THIS IS NOT A Vietnamese FOOD PLACE AT ALL. I drove over 30 mins going off the reviews and this place doesn’t exist! It is now a mexican bread spot but they kept the name of the old restaurant

Little hole in the wall Vietnamese sandwich (Banh Mi) place. They have vegan and vegetarian options. Sandwiches are good and prices are reasonable. Ordered: lemongrass chicken sandwich, Roasted Pork Sandwich & Fried egg Sandwich. All were good! They accept Google/Apple/Samsung pay.

I was so excited to find a local Vietnamese sandwich place I usually have to travel outside the city to get one of these sandwiches. I have to say the sandwiches are amazing and the pork egg rolls are to die for and the sandwiches come with shrimp chips that are dangerously addictive they have a lot of options. If you know you know. The Service was very friendly. Definitely going to put this on my local list permanently.
