A place to grab a bite or relish a good, hearty meal. The Lowry combines sheer sheek with diverse dining. The burgers are delicious and stacked to perfection. Meanwhile, a fusion of steak and perogies tantalizes your taste buds. Combined with attentive service for a unique experience. Will definitely visit again.

Google
This is the beef short ribs. Sounds so good on the menu. It’s really should say. We are selling the sole of my leather shoe. This shit so tuff I think it’s Old as dirt. My jaws hurt. I have always liked this place. I looked around seeing what others are eating. Breakfast burritos must be the best. Lots of people are having them and are scraping their plates. Clearly Î ordered the wrong thing. Damn my jaws hurt!! Do not get the beef short ribs. Was her for my Mothers birthday. 🥴 they knew it was old because on the receipt I got -$10.00 repair (off) I didn’t even know it. They knew. My stomach hurts

I come here often to have the lobster bisque, its very familiar to me and I always feel taken cared of. The service is great and it’s one of the main reasons why I keep coming back! It’s nice to come and see these familiar faces that are always so kind and attentive! I love that Fillis and Elizabeth are always the one serving our table - they’re great !! They make us feel seen and special

The moment we walked in we were greeted kindly and seated immediately. The restaurant was clean and had a very nice vibe. Our server was so sweet and made sure me and my fiance were served as quickly as possible. The wait wasn't long and the food was a 10/10. I got the shrimp tacos and it didn't disappoint.

Google
An absolute gem on Lowry is The Lowry. I've dined here several times and forgot to review. This establishment is top notch from start to finish. The decor is modern and aimed for a casual dining experience or a date night outing. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly on a Friday night. The service staff was impeccable with the perfect amount of check ins and timing of food options brought to our table. The food options are extensive, fresh and everything we had was amazing. Appetizers of the onion rings tower with sauce and queso with chorizo with the perfect happy hour menu starters at a great price. I had the fried haddock entree with baked potato, corn fritters, and creamy slaw. Very freshly prepared with everything I had. The fish was moist and very delicious. I usually have the fried chicken sandwich or a burger which are always spot on for temperature and flavors. See you again soon Lowry!

Google
The chicken soup was unexpectedly very spicy, even though it wasn't mentioned on the menu. I also ordered 4 raw oysters (it'swas the smallestoysters what i had), but 3 of them were not good quality (one I couldn't eat at all). A bit disappointing.

Went with a group of co-workers for dinner after work. We had a large group (11 people) and the service was great! Our server was kind, attentive, and the food came out quickly for such a large group. The food itself was just alright. The chive mushroom mac and cheese was lacking, not enough mushrooms and a little bland. My friend got the fish fry and said the fish seemed like it was frozen and didn't like the Cole slaw. However the other dishes at the table looked really good, the burger and sandwiches looked really tasty and my friend swears by the cheese curds. Overall, I'd come back and try something else, and they get an A+ for service for accommodating such a large group.

Google
Picked this place due to advertised parking. Very large parking lot, plenty of room to park. Made a reservation for 7p.m., and we still had a 15 min wait. I would definitely recommend a reservation on a busy evening. They have a bar, but it was packed to the hilt. Some large open areas, provided standing room / seating. The entire restaurant was decorated for the Christmas holiday, very neutral colors. The food menu is a bit small, but the choices are amazing!! We decided on the brussel sprouts for an appetizer, a bit overcooked but it was still very delicious!! The entrees we tried was Thai Chicken, a Mac & Cheese with short rib, and a Lobster bisque soup Hands down. The mac and cheese with the short rib added, was the best thing that we had that evening. Most of living amongst us all the items were good, however that would be my go-to when I return. They did offer some specialty alcoholic drinks for the season, but we did not venture down that road on his visit. To top the dinner off, we tried a variety of desserts. The butterscotch pudding was fantastic!! We also tried the chocolate cake, and carrot cake. The carrot cake was homemade, and the cream cheese icing was to die for. I look forward to returning to this restaurant, possibly during the spring or summer and dining at their outdoor seating.

Yelp
This place was great! There was great seating and it wasn't too loud, in out booth we felt very separate and able to converse with no difficulty. A great beer selection and cocktails that looked delicious but the server didn't seem to know very much about either. The brussel sprouts were my favorite part, you have to try them if you come here. I got the bacon truffle burger with no bacon and the impossible patty substituted and it was quite tasty but nothing very special to be honest, most restaurants could replicate it so I thought it was a bit overpriced. I got the sweet potato fries with it which were delicious and came with an amazing chipotle aioli but they forgot to bring them out and I had to remind the serve about them. Overall, service and ambiance were great. We were checked in on just enough and felt very comfortable. The food was between good and great, some things were incredible and some weren't too special but still tasty. I would come back here but not on my own dime.

Yelp
The Lowry is a great restaurant choice when you visit uptown. They have a delicious brunch with several brunch cocktail options. I loved my bacon, lettuce, tomato, avacado sandwich and the bread was great. The side of chips was pretty good, but needed some more seasoning. The bloody mary was very tasty. I love that they have a parking lot- it's such a rare find in uptown! Our server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is cute and inviting. There is plenty of space for various size groups of people. The prices are a little steep, but at least the food is delicious Overall, I look forward to coming back!

Yelp
The Lowry is an all time fave for me. I used to live a few blocks away for many years. Breakfast meetings for business. A favorite neighbor or 2. You name it. Today invited son Brandon for an early lunch and biz. We took advantage of the shrimp tacos at the bar. Believe it or not, it was not much more than two meals at Mac D's. Their breakfast and their beverages are awesome. Think you'll dig it too.

Yelp
I've been to The Lowry quite a few times over there years and love their food. I like that they have lots of different seating options and plenty of parking for a city restaurant. My boyfriend and I came in today for some brunch and had such a hard time trying to pick what we wanted. There's always great options on their menu, they seem to have something for everyone! I ordered the Croque Madam. My server forgot to ask what side I wanted so I ended up with the side salad which was disappointing. They seem to just dress it with olive oil so it was pretty bland. The croque madam was really good but I wish the béchamel sauce was over the whole sandwich and not just the one side. It was a bummer having it only on part of it. I feel like every time I come here the service isn't the best but the food is good enough to keep me coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
I really enjoyed the Lowry! I've been before and didn't like the chilaquiles but today I wanted one of everything on the menu! The calamari was great and I appreciated that it was served with two dipping sauces, although the aioli is my favorite. I don't think the shrimp is necessary but we ate it all. The grilled steak salad was really good, all the flavors were well balanced.

Yelp
Good food and great service. And open until 11:00 PM on a Saturday which is definitely rare these days! Shout out to Lxi (according to our ticket) who was an absolute ROCKSTAR, and so nice to us. It made our day. We went after a concert on Saturday. The food was good and the portions left everyone but me with food to bring home. I had the burger which had tasty bacon and tons of onion strings on it, and came with decent house made chips. Others had the fish and chips, grilled cheese and Nashville hot chicken. All were good. The beer list is pretty good as well. Prices are maybe a touch above similar, but they have some more creative entrees as well.

Yelp
This was my second time visiting the Lowry in person! The first time was okay for their happy hour. I got a lot of crackers with my oysters which I thought was strange. This time I came here with my girlfriend for brunch. I like that they have a lot of parking and that it's within walking distance of where I live. The menu is large and has options for every palate. I ordered the French chicken stack with a side of pancakes. The food itself was amazing and I would come back again just for the food. The service wasn't bad, but I thought that the waiter could have been more attentive. Overall I had a good experience!
google avatar

Haley N.

Yelp
Loved my per se hibiscus margarita (NA)! The buffalo cauliflower was really good too. My fiancé loved his wings and drinks as well. The vibe is cute, with a fireplace when you walk in, lots of booths, and an outside area for when it's warmer out. Service was on point and could answer all my questions about plant based options. Would deff return!

Yelp
Had a great experience with a very nice server last week at the Lowry for brunch! I would give five stars for the service, but took away a star because I ordered the walleye eggs benedict and thought it was decent, but not very flavorful. The eggs were cooked perfectly though! Second, the atmosphere itself is super nice, but unfortunately given the location, there were multiple homeless people who came in and had a few back and forths with the manager. Everyone was cordial and there wasn't a true issue in the end. We were seated right next to the door, so if we were further into the restaurant this could easily be prevented from interrupting your meal, but unfortunately we were right next to it. I want to come back for their specials at the bar! Food and drink specials that look like a great deal!

Yelp
My hubby and I stopped here, thinking it would be a great place to grab a bite to eat and were initially excited that there was a parking lot in an area where parking is usually sparse. We stopped by for early dinner on a Sunday afternoon in August and were disappointed, given our positive experiences with the Blue Plate Club restaurants in St. Paul. The service was slow and the wait staff were more interested in socializing with the regulars, and then management meeting with the staff in the middle of the seating area (instead of the closed off area where customers weren't sat). It made for an incredibly awkward experience, trying to get the attention of our server. The saving grace was the food - I got the Breakfast Burrito, and my hubby got the Steakhouse Ranch Burger. It took a bit to get our check for us to be able to head out, but we were thankful we didn't have some place to be after.

Yelp
Stopped at the Lowry because we saw it was dog friendly. Very nice patio and ample parking was seated immediately on a Friday night. We tried the devils eggs and the cheese curds both of which were quite good. The blue plate. Chicken wings were good, but nothing extraordinary the drink menu was decent with a heavy focus on vodka and gin. The only thing lacking was the service. It took quite a long time to get a waitress to our table to bring water the first round of drinks and to take our order. It felt like we were there twice as long as we needed to be just because of the wait. Overall, like the Lowry and will likely be back when in the area.

Yelp
We ordered oysters on the half shell, the buffalo cauliflower, the fish fry, and the chicken bacon soup. The fish fry was juicy and crispy, and it came with a lot of good extras like the baked potato and the corn fritters. I would not consider it a Wisconsin fish fry, though. The bed of arugula was a choice. The oysters were so small it was barely a bite's worth, which is sad because it was $14 for an order of four. The cauliflower came out fried really well, but the sauce was pooled under the bites, not tossed on them. The soup was ok, and came with a side of cheezits which we thought was interesting. Staff was friendly and helpful, although we had to ask for hot sauce a couple times. Very cool spot and nicely decorated.

Yelp
Vibes: Fun, family friendly, casual, brunch Food: Fish tacos with rice and beans. You get your moneys worth as they put a good amount of fish in each taco! Also ordered the mimosa flight which was the perfect Prosecco + juice ratio. Cost: $$ Experience: Went here for brunch with my family and a few family friends. They were able to accommodate a larger group. Our server was so kind and patient.

Yelp
Stopped for a quick dinner here before a flight back home! The service was fast and friendly, from host and waitress, and the salads we ordered tasted great and were a good size. They have a lot of seating available and an easy parking lot so the easy access is a plus, as well as a nice outdoor patio. There is a wide variety of options available on the menu and everything sounded great.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the Cakes,Eggs,&Links which was very good. I got my eggs fried hard no yolk- this came out great. My partner got the American breakfast sub out toast for one pancake. Cons- one pancake costing $3.99, cheap tasting coffee, the pancakes are a little dense could be more fluffy! Pros- service here is great!, food comes out fast!, they have a morning happy hour which include $6 mimosas!
google avatar

Matthew P.

Yelp
Went here for a quick bite before an event! Made this known to our server and she was fantastic with the speed. Everything is very fairly priced for the portion sizes - big kudos. We had the cheese curds and truffle fries - both were amazing! Like a really perfect. The applesauce dip for the curds was amazing, I've never had anything like this so I was very impressed. The fries were bold with truffle flavor and were not dripping in grease which is rare to find. Big kudos to the Lowry for this! I must come back and try more food :)
google avatar

Nikki G.

Yelp
Good was incredible! Service was incredible! The place is so cute too. Ordered a burger and sweet potato fries, hubby had a breakfast burrito and we ordered the grilled cheese and chicken tenders kids meals for our babes. Servings were huge! The kids meals were only $8 and included fries, fresh fruit and crackers - of course I tried the kids food and it was also incredible! We also got the mimosa flight which was perfect too. Plan on paying about $20/person for adults but well worth it. We will be back!

Yelp
This one of my favorite spots, plenty of parking in the lot, and outdoor eating space available. Ambiance 4/5 Great seating inside and out, bar seating and high top booths (which I love). Festive during the Winter, low lit at night. Great leather and wood feel. Service 4/5 Ask for Miguel on Saturdays and tip him well. He's worth it. Very responsive and personable. The only time I've experienceid slow service was with a large party on a Saturday. I was actually surprised since they weren't very busy either. We all received our meals at separate times. Food/ Drinks 4/5 Reasonably priced drinks and food. The Buffalo Cauliflower is very salty w/no crispiness, I wouldn't order it again. Drinks: St Agrestis Phony Negroni $13.50 Buffalo Cauliflower $12.50 | Chicken Wings $16.95 | Sweet Potato Fries $9.95 Baja Bowl $16.95 | Chocolate Cake $ 9.95 TOTAL: 65.85 (various visits) Overall 4/5 Great spot!

Yelp
Over price for little ass amount of food , and the other meal my wife had was also very skimp and all over

Yelp
Burger Lovers take a look! I am a regular here early in the day. Often my time clock is changed due to work with folks in other time zones. I can go to The Lowry for good food and service. Yes, I sit at the bar with its few electric outlets so I can work. Brittany is a great server who knows her folks. I generally just have a couple beverages but have recently discovered the lunchtime menu. $12 for several great entrees. I usually don't eat hamburgers/cheeseburgers out as I enjoy them rare but a) many places won't make them rare and b) hamburger outside of small shops can be suspect at best. I was willing to take a chance at The Lowery. Wow!! Best cheeseburger ever (from a restaurant). I was willing take a chance as all of their food is good.
google avatar

Rob C.

Yelp
As a world renowned grilled cheese connoisseur, let me tell you....this is the greatest and most tasty grilled cheese sandwich in the history of western civilization. It was so good, i wished I had a bigger mouth. The service was excellent

Yelp
I highly recommend trying this place! I took my granddaughter here for a little dinner date. I had the chimichurri short rib & she had the Mickey mouse pancake. I also had the strawberry something sangria. It's was all delicious our server was Heather she was fantastic. We sat out on the patio it was very nice. When we left my granddaughter said to me she was glad I brought her there & she can't wait to go back ( she is 9). We will eat & got up desert at Sebastian Joe's.
google avatar

Yasiri N.

Yelp
I tried the Lowry after a friend suggested we come here for brunch and have the mimosa flight. The service was great, our server made sure to check on us frequently while we sat out on their patio. She also gave great recommendations on food. My friend had the cheeseburger and said it tasted average, nothing out of this world but a good quality burger if you're looking for some comfortable food. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich. I was good! Again nothing spectacular but just what you would expect from a chicken sandwich. It really was not spicy, it was more vinegary than anything else. My sandwich did have a pretty soggy bottom bun which was a little disappointing but nonetheless, a good tasting sandwich. The mimosa flights SLAP. They are really good and come in pineapple, cranberry, original and grapefruit flavors. We felt pretty buzzed after one flight. The vibe inside is very nice, there was people there having business meetings, couple out for lunch and some families. The patio is very nice as well but can get hot when in direct sun so make sure to bring a hat and shades!
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
You know, it didn't blow me away but I would probably come back again for another go. I got the Peter's Burger (which comes on sourdough) and both slices of bread were soggy with the ketchup or whatever sauce they put on there. Tasted pretty good, but just felt like sloppy preparation. We did start with a Beer and a Bump ($8) which did get the night off to a good start, but just was expecting a more. 6.7/10
google avatar

Dan C.

Yelp
I came here to meet a friend for breakfast on a weekday. The vibe here is a slightly upscale greasy spoon. It has a nice interior and the staff is friendly, very much not-diner. I had eggs, bacon, and toast. It was good, not too greasy, it seems like the meals are made with slightly better stuff than the usual grease pit. After I left, I didn't like I had a brick in my stomach. My one beef is that they did not have espresso, but that does not seem to be the vibe there. Our server was nice enough, took good care of us. My friend and I sat and talked for a couple of hours and she didn't bother us at all or hover. That was very nice.

Yelp
Part of the Blue Plate Company, there are a few recognizable some items from other spots such as Freehouse, Longfellow Grill, Groveland Tap, etc. The Lowry really brings me back as I recall various visits here in college but hadn't been back until very recently. There is a simple reservation process that worked seamlessly and the service was very polished. Interior decorating hasn't changed much since I visited many moons ago, yet somehow still felt inviting with the oversized big booths. There is a parking lot directly connected making this a huge win considering the location on busy Hennepin. Breakfast was solid as I had a mimosa, breakfast bowl, and split the killer banana waffle with a girlfriend. Everything tasted excellent with great flavoring. Come visit!

Yelp
The service was okay and slow. But, I really enjoyed the monkey bread and avocado toast!

Yelp
One of my Minneapolis friends took me here recently on a Saturday night. We made a last minute early evening reservation and were seated promptly upon arriving. Excellent drinks menu, comprised of a few new twists on favorite cocktails. Our entrees were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. As a person with hearing issues, really appreciated the private booths that provided enough acoustical privacy for conversation. Easy parking. We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
We ate outside on the lovely porch, with lovely service and lovely food. Plenty of free parking, which was I was concerned about considering I'm a suburban girl. Try it, num!

Yelp
All around good experience. It didn't knock my socks off but wanted to shout out the service. I think Diane was our waitress and she was great. Friendly, fast, professional, and spot on

Yelp
Wow, I think this place was really good. It may seem pricey compared to other places but I think the quality and flavors makes it worth it. My partner and I ordered take out for pick up after work and we were really impressed. This is definitely one of my top favorite American food in Minnesota now. We didn't try any of the breakfast food though so can't comment there. Inside looks pretty inviting but because we didn't dine in, I can say much about the service. We'll looking to dining in in the near future. Food we got: Buffalo cauliflower- definitely GET THIS, I know a lot of places are having their own version of Buffalo cauliflower bites but this is definitely the best place I have had if so far. Using a tempura batter was a smart move and something I'm going to have to try at home. Seared tuna salad- I was indifferent about this because I'm usually picky about Asian flavors at American restaurants but this was so flavorful and delicious. The salad was light, refreshing and had a great umami taste. The tuna wasn't fishy and a better quality then most places in MN. Crispy chicken tenders w/ house made ranch- quality and breading was good but not as flavorful as it looks, the ranch was ok and kind of plain. Truffle burger w/ tater tots- the bacon jam on here is heaven! It's sweet and savory- definitely a juicy burger that will get your hands dirty but well worth it. The burger is pretty oily and heavy if you're feeling something hearty this would do just fine.

Yelp
Overall, the Lowry is a comfortable, reasonably priced, and tasty place for a meal. It's also slightly upscale from a diner making it a good place for nicer occasions too. In addition, they feature an assortment of elevated alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. FOOD: food quality is very good. Some portions can be small (specifically we had the beet salad). But overall, the food quality is above average and entree choices tend to be well crafted. PARKING: easy in the lot out to the side of the restaurant on Hennepin. SERVICE: Good service. Not much to say here. AMBIANCE: Good for quick and nicer meals. I appreciate the feel of the restaurant. Definitely nicer than a typical diner but still rather casual.

Yelp
I stopped by the Lowry with some friends of mine after Open Streets Lyndale a few weeks ago, and was really excited to try this place as I drive by it twice a day, to and from work and saw it has pretty solid reviews here on Yelp. Unfortunately, for me, the food was just incredibly mediocre. My Eggs Benny were just fine. I really didn't enjoy them very much. They were lacking flavor and the Hollandaise tasted artificial to me. All my friends at the table agreed. And on top of that, it took super long for our food to come out. I probably won't be coming back here, but I would give it another try if someone I knew really advocated for it.
google avatar

Molly L.

Yelp
I like to come here and drink. They have a full bar, but the food is definitely not very good. It's very mediocre. Kind of gives me Applebee's vibes. A lot of the food seems microwaved. However, my friend had the fish dinner and enjoyed it.

Morgan P.

Yelp
Good food & beer list, friendly staff just not well managed! It's February 1 and Christmas decorations are still up! WTF?!?! They gathering dust!
google avatar

Yelp
Very tasty however the walleye seared is far superior to the panko-crusted. Lexi was a terrific server.

Teresa S.

Yelp
Our waitress Sieta was phenomenal! We were a group of 10 and she a support staff brought our food out effortlessly. Everyone that passed our table made sure we had everything. I'm from California and would definitely come back to dine here.

Alexandre L.

Yelp
Food was superb my gf really loved the meatloaf and the spritz was stellar. Will be coming back soon

Jason P.

Yelp
It's a no brainer! We stopped in for HH and had the oysters, dry rub wings, and a few drinks. Other than the street closer everything was great!

Yelp
We went to The Lowry at noon on a Saturday and there was a huge rush which is a good sign but we had to wait 15-20 min for a table despite our reservation. We started off with cheese curds which were perfectly crunchy and chewy. The buffalo cauliflower was tasty too and had a bold flavor and a crispy texture which paired nicely with the ranch. I wish there was a larger portion size for the appetizers though. The food took almost an hour to come out so the whole group got pretty hungry. The food wasn't fully worth the wait but everything tasted great. My favorite was the parmesan crusted grilled cheese which was gooey on the inside and nicely toasted on the outside. The pancakes were also perfectly cooked and were a good portion size. I would definitely come here again but on a less busy day. It's a great spot to bring larger groups or for families since there are so many options.
google avatar

Lorraine T.

Yelp
Had the avocado toast. Perfect poached egg. Would have been higher if there was more flavor to the guac. Had to add a ton of salt and pepper and hot sauce...then it was fine
google avatar

Jenae C.

Yelp
We went to try their brunch on a Sunday morning and there wasn't any wait for a table which is unlike every other brunch place in the cities! The eggs Benedict was very average and didn't have much flavor. The banana waffle was good but also not unique or a large serving for the price. The waitress was nice and gave a lot of coffee refills! They have a large parking lot attached which is super nice for the crazy uptown area. The restaurant has a modern vibe and would probably be a nice dinner spot with lots of booths facing outside. Overall an average brunch place to try.

Lisa P.

Yelp
Terrible service. One person's order was delivered 15 minutes before everyone else. The second round of orders we'd delivered cold. Worst we've ever had. Second visit wasn't any better. We LOVE the Edina grill and Freehouse, but We will never return to the Lowry.
google avatar

Jan K.

Yelp
We were here at noon on a Saturday (we did have reservations). IMO the bloodies were gloppy. Our waitress didn't ask if we wanted mild, regular or spicy and what we got were thick & gloppy; my husband didn't mind it so much as I did. I ordered the Eggs Benny and it was decent, but one egg was properly poached and the other was under. The stars of the show were our waitress, along with my husband's French Toast Chicken Stack.
google avatar

Monica N.

Yelp
My first time at the Lowry for breakfast. My friend enjoyed their Benny but didn't like the thickness of the English muffin or meat. Eggs were poached beautifully on both dishes. The sauce of the gnocchi was tasty and delightful. Love the rye bread with their jam. My favorite thing on the menu is still Brussel sprouts and the beef and pierogis, but I'm still going to try more! Service was great, everyone was kind and welcoming. Great dining experience.

Yelp
OVERALL: A solid uptown spot. Definitely prefer this place over freehouse which has the same owners. LOGISTICS: Parking in their large parking lot, walked in on a Friday night. Easy! DRINKS: We ordered the Moscow mule and the hibiscus cosmo. Both were decently strong and good in flavor! FOOD: we ordered the salmon scramble and the steak and pierogis. I am still raving about the steak and pierogis. The flavors are amazing, my steak was cooked absolutely perfectly (better than some steakhouses I've been to) and all of the flavors just melted in my mouth. With the creamy horseradish (I'm usually not a fan of horseradish and I loved it) and an Asian sauce (Szechuan?) that was an unexpected flavor in this dish but added to the depth of flavor. The salmon scramble was simple and delicious. I was worried that the cream cheese in the eggs would be overpowering but the dill really offset that. Really great combination of flavors and all day breakfast is also a win! SERVICE: Really kind and our food came quickly!

Yelp
The Lowry, located about 10 minute car ride south of downtown, serves pub style food with the addition of some interesting entrées. And its menu is wide enough to satisfy vegetarian and vegan tastes. Still, I go for the simple but terrific BLT with its thick bacon. I usually throw a cup of one of their really good soups. Service is very good as is the choice of cocktails and beers. Lots of free parking right next door. The style is modern but comfy and the noise level is good for our monthly conversation get-togethers.

Yelp
I got the wild mushroom mac & cheese to go and it was delicious. I ended up going back to get the same meal the day after.

Yelp
I don't restaurant a lot these days because I can't afford a second round of covid, so item one on my review is, of course, the patio. Open in the warmer months, which in Minnesota means whenever we can deal with sitting outside, the patio is a surprisingly pleasant oasis of quiet and peace. This is because the patio is surrounded by parking lots, and thus there's a physical barrier between the patio and the sidewalk. I've found this a nice spot to sketch or paint the neighborhood. Anyway, now that you've discovered the strange delight of an oasis in a parking lot, into what we came for. The food here is good. Honestly I keep eating the oatmeal. I eat oatmeal every day at home and then I come here and can't resist because their oatmeal is just amazing. My friends are always happy with the various things they consume as well, service is solid, and overall the Lowry is a good experience.
