LA Slice Kings Prime Pizza Expand Again, This Time to Santa Monica | Eater LA

"I found that a new two-story sports bar called the LÜM is opening next month at 3900 W. Century Boulevard near SoFi Stadium; the large space will feature memorabilia, a massive downstairs bar, an upstairs events space, a rooftop deck, and more." - Farley Elliott

I understand they are under construction, but this hotel needs more help. The staff was extremely limited. Valet was difficult due to very few parking spots and a small driveway and poor instructions how to retrieve our car. Our room was clean, except they did not provide us towels. We requested a pool view and they gave us a street view which made me nervous. They provided a white noise machine for the construction, but it didn't help because of all the road noise. Construction started around 7 am. No closet in the room, no door on the shower, and no microwave in the room. The only reason we chose this hotel was because it is close to the event stadiums within walking distance (30 mins) on a safe road. Walls are very thin, beds are not super comfortable.

The two ladies at the front desk on the night of October 10th were both incredibly hospitable quick and kind. We and a multitude of others had hotel vouchers from airlines and they were quick and so very polite to everyone. The hotel itself is getting remodeled as of now so the amenities it seems are closed but the rooms are beautiful and clean as well as the property itself. Seems like a new owner took over and really poured a lot of money into the place.

You can’t beat the location in relation to SOFI. It’s the only hotel within walking distance. Super short, safe walk to the stadium. We were back having a glass of wine after the game before we would have even found an uber last year! We didn’t mind the valet situation. We felt the car was safe. The restaurant was super yummy with great service. Agreed that the bed frame corners gave bruises. Not the best design decision. The sound machine in the rooms was great! Walls are thin and you will hear other people in the hallways but it wasn’t awful. The pool was beautiful! Room was small but sufficient. Need to add a microwave and ice bucket for sure! And one tiny elevator wasn’t great for us at the busy time. All in all, the location makes up for the not so great.

Terrible place. First of all it’s hard to find because nowhere on their website or anywhere else does it indicate that they are changing their name to Anthem. As a result, you drive by three times, through sketchy neighborhoods off the main drag, until you finally locate the front desk phone number and they inform you of the name change. Secondly, they don’t tell you until you check in that the parking is $55 extra. That’s nearly half the room rate. Thirdly, I specifically book hotels with the fitness center. This hotel is all torn up and when I asked where the fitness center was, all ready to go work out, they informed me it is under construction. Great – nothing like a 4 mile walk through the previously mentioned sketchy neighborhoods. And the place is noisy as hell. Thin walls and loud doors are not a good mix.

I booked this hotel on Expedia for TWO guests. Come to find out AFTER booking (via email) that they have limited parking spaces so there is only one parking space per room with NO OTHER OPTION to park anywhere else. On top of that they charge $55 for MANDATORY valet parking (also not mentioned). Straight up bait and switch and of course the booking is non-refundable because that's how scams work. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. If you read the reviews it doesn't seem like a good place to stay anyways (noise, cars being broken into, rude staff, no available amenities that are listed as available). I literally didn't even stay at the hotel. I stood on principle and booked another hotel. Hope they enjoy the $140. Seems like they need it a lot more than I do.

The hotel is an independent hotel moving to the Hilton Honors system. It broadly advertises that it is under renovation, with the lobby and pool affected. What they don't advertise is the absolute lack of other services. I asked for ice, which, alas, due to construction, wasn't available. While the room itself was ok, the outdoor area was basically the encampment for valet parking. Doors were banging all night (presumably because the hardware to soft close them wasn't installed yet) and the experience at an chic urban warzone feel. || Hilton should have delayed this hotel online date after the conversion was complete. Until it is completed, this is a do not stay experience.

This experience reminds me to read reviews before booking. There's a very enticing discounted price that hooked me immediately. When I stay at hotels, I enjoy utilizing amenities that come with it. Turns out the pool AND the fitness center are unavailable due to renovation, and construction is loud and noisy. The worst part is that the only option for parking is valet for $55 per night!!! I would have never booked if I had known. The good things about my stay was that the room was beautifully modern and clean. The staff is very friendly. The hotel was walking distance to my event. And lastly, I forgot something in the room after my stay was over. I called them and gave them my contact information, and I was able to retrieve my item a week later.

They are changing names to Anthem that was a little confusing at first. Hotel was extremely busy with football and basketball games. We arrived early and actually got in a couple hours before check in. Location for going to see Chargers/Rams or the Clippers is amazing. We didn’t have a car but they have valet parking it is pretty expensive. It does smell like weed outside the hotel and in some halls not in our rooms though. Rooms were clean and ac was working well. The shower is a little weird it’s open so water gets on the floor no mater what. There is a pool with chairs & umbrellas it was clean.
