Terrible place.
First of all it’s hard to find because nowhere on their website or anywhere else does it indicate that they are changing their name to Anthem. As a result, you drive by three times, through sketchy neighborhoods off the main drag, until you finally locate the front desk phone number and they inform you of the name change.
Secondly, they don’t tell you until you check in that the parking is $55 extra. That’s nearly half the room rate.
Thirdly, I specifically book hotels with the fitness center. This hotel is all torn up and when I asked where the fitness center was, all ready to go work out, they informed me it is under construction. Great – nothing like a 4 mile walk through the previously mentioned sketchy neighborhoods.
And the place is noisy as hell. Thin walls and loud doors are not a good mix.
