Honestly I lobe this place, but we’ve had several incidents with the Ki that works there. She is extremely rude!! She will put u out as soon at it hits 2 hours, even if it’s empty she wants you to redstart your tab. I asked for her not to be our waitress. I can understand if they are busy, but they were not on 2 different incidents. It’s BYOB, but be ready to get put out after 1 hour and 59 minutes.

I normally go to this hookah lounge on a regular basis. The management have change and the professionalism is nonexistent. I made reservations for 15 people for my birthday. When I arrived my section was upstairs. I spoke with the manager and requested to be moved downstairs because there were atleast 4 open sections he could have reseated me at. I tried to explain to him 3Xs that no one was sitting there and it was a reasonable request to just reassign my section since there was other sections which was open. He repeatedly refuse to move me and continued to say " THOSE SECTIONS WERE PAID FOR". but my sections were paid for TOO. I will NOT be back until that management change. I lost a deposit..there was no accommodations. They need a new manager.

Not sure if they have food but great music. Night club vibe with Dj and lighting/dance floor. The young lady at the entrance with glasses is nice and professional.We had to wait about 25 minutes, she kept us informed and at times entertained.

I patronize this place often. Made a reservation on 10/21 for 6 people only to be told when i arrived that I should have paid a deposit (wasn’t prompted to do so when I made the reservation) We arrive we are told by the “fill in hostess” that we needed to make a deposit at the time of reservation. Much to our surprise ( my wife and our party) the hostess stated the only thing available is the VIP section starting at $350. We’re appalled this has NOT been the normal business practice. What was the point in making a reservation? So BRIAN the Manager comes out and reiterated the same as the fill in hostess and gives you a this take VIP or basically leave. I’m appalled !!! I need to speaker to the owner of this establishment personally . I have and my friends have spent thousands of dollars in this establishment. I will encourage everyone to NEVER EVER Patronize this business again !!!

DEFINITELY SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. YOUR BEST BET IS TO UBER HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR VEHICLE TOWED. THIS HOOKAH BAR DOES NOT HAVE PARKING AND WILL ALLOW THEIR CUSTOMERS VEHICLES TO GET TOWED FOR PARKING ON THE STREET AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE STAFF ARE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND DOES NOT WARN YOU AT THE DOOR OR DOES NOT ANNOUNCE IT OVER THE DJ BOOTH WHILE INSIDE. WHAT A CLEAR WAY TO SHOW THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. THE IMPOUND WAS CROWDED WITH CUSTOMERS WHO WERE JUST IN THE HOOKAH BAR WITH US.

Nice place, very relaxing good vibes I would visit again. I really like my wife can smoke Hookah, and I can smoke a good cigar they have great choices. Good cigars to buy as well. Also, their security guys are great, which makes me feel comfortable to put my weapon away.

I visited this gem last weekend, this is a must try if you enjoy hookah! This place does not serve alcohol but you can bring your own booze. They have a karaoke night which was lot of fun I highly recommend this spot with friends for a fun night out. Make sure you get to try their amazing hookah too. Special thanks to Jezebel for being so sweet to us. She made our experience really special.

AMAZING! The service was great! We came from Tampa, FL and we are definitely coming back. Make sure you bring your own bottle. The manager was nice and the front desk lady was nice as well. This will be pur 3rd time coming from Florida. We're planning another trip this June and the Lyons Den is in the heart of our plans. Ambiance is definitely a turn up nice vibe. My husband and I love it here.

Came here with some friends after a birthday dinner. It was $38 entry and they have byob. They already had a table and hookah and everything when I got there but the staff seemed pretty nice and attentive. The dj was good and kept the vibes going through the night. It was a nice lil chill spot. They do stop letting ppl in after 1am.

Lyon's den hookah lounge is a very nice place to be the services and staff when you walk thru the door is exemplary. From the security at the door to the host greeting you with your wrist band is warming and professional. I haven't tried they food yet but I am excited to go back because the music is epic

I went here with a group of friends on a Friday night and had an absolute blast! The service, vibe, & value were impeccable! It's BYOB and every section includes 4 hookahs - I don't want to say the price, but it's a steal. They also have mixers for purchase. We had such a great time, we went back on that following Sunday to do karaoke (only on Sundays). The staff at Lyon's Den knocked it out of the park again - our waitress Jez, The Hostess, & The Hookah Man were three of my faves!!! P.S. The Hostess literally has the voice of an angel and Jez is such a vibe! Those two made this place a Chicago go-to when any of us are in town! Thank you for everything Lyon's Den!!!!

We planned a party, paid the deposit and they closed due to a shooting and no one reached out for 10 days. We had to figure it out ourselves and practically beg for a refund.

Awesome vibes. Great ambiance. I was there on a Sunday celebrating someone's birthday. I usually don't smoke hookah but I did this night.

Friendly staff at the front but a few things to consider. Towing starts at 12am on weekends on division street. It is enforced! This place is a BYOB. Strongly recommend getting a reservation on the weekends. Hookah is very good but it takes awhile to get coals refilled. Pay attention to the policies on the website. They do close at 2am.

My party of 5 was turned away at 9:20pm on a Saturday due to "not having a reservation". Never heard of making a reservation at a hookah bar, not to mention we could clearly see several tables unseated through the windows. Won't be trying it out again.

This place is amazing. Probably one of the best hookah spots in the city and I've been to a lot! Spacious, great hookah flavors, and good music. The vibe here overall is really chill & fun. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Great for a girls night or a birthday gathering. Highly recommend--just make sure you make reservations!

If you want to go to an establishment where you are talked down to and not respected I highly recommend you check out this place. The owner makes it apparent that he especially does not prefer patrons who are black. He is condescending and will do anything possible to show that he does not prefer black patrons. Don't get me wrong, the ambiance is great. The staff is amazing and will try their best to make people feel accommodated but the owner makes it obvious that he does not want black patrons. I've been here on various types of nights and the dj will play music based on the crowd unless the crowd is black.

I was looking forward to a good hookah experience during my Chicago visit. I walked in with my friend, on a very slow Thursday night (April 28,2022) around 10pm. As we were walking in we could see that the place was practically empty, there were only two people sitting at the bar. When we get through the door we are "greeted" by 4 security guards and a lady behind the counter. They looked at us and said "$40 per person to get in and hookah is $25". I've never been charged that much to get into any empty bar or lifeless establishment. They were not friendly at the door, therefore we walked away. The entrance fee does not make any sense, maybe if they let go of 3 out of the 4 security guards that they have in WICKER PARK (a very safe neighborhood) then they wouldn't have to charge that much to get in.

Great service Tons of hookah flavors BYOB and good music all nite‼ I wish we could sit @ tables longer than 2 hours other than that this is a good time guaranteed‼

Finally a nice hookah place in Wicker Park! Great location, beautiful space, a deejay on the weekends and entertainment. Need reservations because it sells out. It is BYO also. Lively crowd for sure.

I came to Chicago to visit my people. Found this hookah spot on Yelp and figured I'd tried it out. I smoke hookah all over the country and thought this would be a great spot as it's new and fresh. The actual building is nice but service is questionable. I wouldn't recommend this place if you want attentive service and knowledgeable employees regarding shisha options. Maybe it was an off night but when you're paying $200+ and you're already bringing your own bottles...... service is what will separate the good from the bad. This wasn't good. Good luck.

Spot looks good. Nice vibe, the service brings the experience down. The servers aren't attentive at all. You have to hawk someone down to change the coals. If you put more emphasis on Service this place would be a easy 5 stars. There other hookah spots that have way better prices that has better service. Please improve

This is the best hookah lounge in Chicago. I've been here on many occasions and I ALWAYS receive the best service. Kenneth (the owner) is AMAZING! He is sooooo sweet and a good time. This is a family business and they make their guests feel like family! The staff is very attentive and accommodating! The vibes here are unmatched. Honestly, I could write a book about what I love about this lounge lol If you wanna go to an affordable lounge, where you can bring your own liquor, that plays good music all night long that you can dance to, this is the place for you!

This spot is ok. I went for Halloween. It was cute. Music was cool until he played R. Kelly but it's Chicago... so.

This was a dope hookah spot, will be a regular every time I come to the city. Service was good hookah was on point!

The place is really nice but I will tell you the hookah is horrible if you are a hookah smoke you will know from the Cole they bring you hookah out with the instant Cole that is what burns the hookah and doesn't smoke well it smokes burnt so we asked to bring us the cube Cole they looked at us and said it will take a while but still hookah was burnt wouldn't recommend going if your going to smoke!

Couldn't get in because they have a no hat/no hoody rule. A few friends went there three weeks ago and we all wore the same thing and everything was fine. We are smoking hookah and BYOB, this isn't prom, these guys need to chill.

I wouldnt go here again. For starters...they charge $25 per person For a hookah and the service was slow. Then the major thing was...the DJ was Hispanic and he only played Spanish music geared toward the one table of Spanish women. Although it was a mixed crowd of majority African Americans, the DJ refused to play any music we requested. Atleast 5 other Patrons went to the booth to request he mix the music up. He just ignored us and kept playing music catered to the Hispanics there. He didn't play not one hip hop or even dance songs. Literally Spanish dance songs all night. despite trying to make the best of it, we ended up just leaving! Dont patronize businesses where you are tolerated because you are spending money but can't be accommodated. We all came out for a good time but It was a complete waste of time and money because we didn't enjoy ourselves.
