"Part movie theater, part live performance venue, and part art gallery, the ever-evolving Lyric’s look is curated by an eclectic owner and an in-house Art Czar.  Featuring the best outdoor patio views of the mountains in town, the whimsical artwork of the Lyric spills out onto the lawn and becomes a playground for kids and adults. Hosting a variety of events ranging from live music, DJs, stand-up comedy, local food dinners, costume dance parties, and circus performers, the Lyric is a hub for all that is odd in northern Colorado. Weekend mornings at the establishment comes with cartoons and an all-you-can-eat cereal bar. First established in 2007, the Lyric has held a few spaces in the community, first in a small downtown rental, then temporarily in a Masonic temple, and now on the north end of the town among taco trucks and a bowling alley. With its final move, the Lyric has leaned in hard on its eccentricity and cemented its status as an institution in the town." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

My third Candlelight concert definitely did not disappoint. The Range Ensemble performed Vivaldi beautifully. The Lyric was a fun, quirky place to experience their magic. Wish I could make it to all of the concerts in all of the unique venues.

Love coming to this theater, for a movie or an event, alone or with my family and friends. Local theater supports all types of events, shows Blockbusters and indie films, puts on community support gatherings and holds free cartoons for anyone each weekend. Can't encourage you enough to check it out

If one ever has the opportunity to attend a live performance by Range Ensemble at a Candlight event, I highly recommend it. We have attended two of these events and have enjoyed both. The first was a performance of classical music by Vivaldi, which was quite moving. The second was their performace of music by Adele which was quite remarkable and equally enjoyable.

I recently had the pleasure of touring The Lyric, a locally owned independent movie theater and event space, as I prepare to coordinate a wedding here in the fall. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff, who made me feel right at home. The venue itself is pretty cool, combining the charm of a movie theater with the versatility needed for hosting events. I can already envision how amazing the wedding will be, and I'm excited to work with such a fantastic team! During my visit, I also had the chance to do a bit of taste testing while my clients sampled their food. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, and I can't wait to enjoy the food at the wedding! Additionally, I had an iced latte with vanilla that was simply divine. I definitely plan to come back not only for the events but also to catch a movie when I'm in town. If you're looking for a unique spot for events or just want to enjoy a film, I highly recommend checking out The Lyric!

Hard to rate this place. The shows are very good - often something unique and fun that you won't see anywhere else. The movies are the same. The outdoor theater is fun - in good weather. But it's just a weird place with a lot of distractions, poorly managed people flow and lots of confusion. And who puts a theater like this in with such limited parking. It's truly ridiculous / sketchy parking here. The younger and wilder you are, the more you'll probably like this place.

We love The Lyric. such a unique venue here in Fort Collins. Whether it be for a movie or a performance you can't beat the off beat ambience of the location or the helpfulness of the people working there.

We went to a Candlelight Concert of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. It was absolutely amazing. The venue was great, the atmosphere was perfect. The performers were fantastic, both in playing and in talking to the audience. We will definitely be going to more of these!

I rarely write reviews but i had a horrible experience here the other night. I brought some friends from out of town to this spot because it looked cool and unique. We all bought tickets online. One friend went to the bathroom after we entered the theater and employees refused to let her back in without a ticket that we had already been let inside for. After a while of her not returning i went to look for her and these employees were completely unhelpful or sympathetic to the situation and acted like they didn’t know what was happening. Refusing to give names of anyone involved. We left and did not watch the movie. Very unprofessional.
