Where to Find the Cheesiest Dishes in Portland and Beyond | Eater Portland

"This build-your-own mac and cheese fast-casual spot is a dream come true for mac lovers, with tons of different toppings like crab, bacon, shrimp, hot dog, tomatoes, and more to add to the mac and cheese of your choice. The standard base comes with a jack-cheddar blend, but Mac’d also offers more distinct flavor combos like a tangy buffalo sauce version, or a version stacked with Korean-braised short rib and slow-roasted barbecue pulled pork. Mix it up and order fried mac and cheese balls as well for a more inventive option." - Zoe Baillargeon

Where to Find Top-Notch Mac and Cheese in Portland - Eater Portland

"Mac’d is a zippy mac-and-cheese takeout window providing a fast and casual build-your-own-mac-and-cheese option. All the sauces use a different béchamel base that simmers down for over an hour, with cheeses like cheddar, jack, and parmesan and a secret blend of spices. Customers can then choose ingredients to mix-in to the base mac and cheese, from bacon to hot Cheetos; the final product cooks down on a stovetop and hits the broiler to get a crispy layer of cheese on top." - Maya MacEvoy

This is my favor spot for some great Mac n cheese. Super cute little spot, they have some fun bench tables outside, and lots of cute decor outside. The food is delicious, HUGE portions, and one of the crispyiest Dr. Peppers I’ve had in a while. We had the traditional Mac n cheese with brisket and the pesto Mac n cheese with grilled chicken and both were delicious. The staff was so nice, held great conversation with us before we ordered, and got our food out super fast. Whenever I’m in the mood, I make the drive to Mac’d. Totally worth the 30 minute drive.

Just recently moved to Portland from Hillsboro and I was literally living off the mac and cheese here when I first moved in so that I didn't have to cook! The pesto mac is my favorite, but the basic is great too. I always get it with double extra cheese and the portions are generous. I always had leftovers for the next day. If food had no calories, I would eat here every single day.

Google
Mac’s Diner was great! Heather, the owner was fantastic making sure everything was perfect. The food was amazing. Lots of choices. We were in Shady Cove 2 days and ate there for breakfast and dinner both days. We went into the bar area both nights after dinner and all the locals were so friendly. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Google
This used to be my go too for mac and cheese. Ill have to search elsewhere. Every time we go here they change the menu. This recent time they charge for additional toppings, and barely put any in there. Paying 45$ for mid bland Mac and cheese. The staff was very friendly and helpful as always. But food quality from the time they open to now has gone way down. Ease up on the changes maybe? Stick to the original menu, and add in seasonings to the meat choices.

Do not waste your money here. This place used to be worth every penny. They have tripled their prices, and the qualify went down the toilet. In 2019-2020 this place was amazing—the cheesy delicious sauce and the killer pricing. $12 for Mac, FREE add in’s and $4-$5 for the special meats. Today, you will pay $30 for basic, dry, bland and flavorless pasta. I feel robbed. I would rather eat Kraft with hotdogs.

If you are planning on waiting for your food make sure it’s not pouring down in 40 degree weather! It was so much fun to wait at their dirty tables for our food and be told it would be a 8 minute wait for each dish (3 dishes total) and instead get a 45 minute wait in total! Apparently they decided to just not call our name and go on calling other groups’ names. When we finally got enough sense to check on our order we found it to be just sitting there. The food was very yummy but probably would have been better if the cheese hadn’t solidified due to sitting out. They forgot to input our drink as well but the guy who came to the window (different guy than who took our order) gave us it for free due to the wait which was very nice and a special thank you to him. I was so hungry and cold that I ate some of the lukewarm Mac n cheese in the car but will definitely warm it up more at home to see how much better it tastes. It would be great if they had a heater since they have so many tables outside.

I never knew this was what I was missing in my life. The portions are huge, the food is delicious, and it is a good price. My macaroni bowl was 4 separate meals. Highly recommended. Plus the late hours are amazing.

Google
We got the basic Mac and cheese with parm shavings and the buffalo Mac and cheese with chicken fritters, hot Cheetos and parm shavings! Overall really good! Would definitely get again! A little pricey, they charge per topping. We love that the hot Cheetos were on the side!

Yelp
It seems to me the majority of places I go to get food nowadays get something wrong with the order. It's such a bummer. can't say that about MAC'D. I order, and I get what I paid for. On top of that it's delicious with large portions. Spectacular. Thank you.

Yelp
This spot slaps. The mac and cheese is insanely good -- creamy, cheesy, crispy on top, and made with actual love. Jose is the MVP. Friendly, fast, and clearly passionate about the food. He recommended the "Goddess" and it changed my life a little. I'll be dreaming about it every day until I come back.

Yelp
My husband convinced me to eat Mac'd tonight when I really wanted to eat something else. He has always loved the food and has been numerous times over the years without issue. Once we received our to go entrees, my husband looked everything over before we left. He found the brisket side we ordered was majority fat and brought it to the attention of the merchant. They did not care, basically laughed it off and didn't take our concern seriously whatsoever. Terrible customer service! Not only was there an issue with what they were serving us but then a shitty attitude and unwillingness to make it right. We won't be going back. Save your money, yall, it ain't worth it!

Yelp
Cheesy goodness and everybody and the flavors are kicking, and I love the garlic and cheesy one called the goddess. Tried this place for the first time and I was really impressed with it and really enjoyed the flavors and what not and they have a large variety so I'm interested in trying the other one especially the pesto. Haven't been to the location, but I'm curious to see what it looks like.

Dorina S.

Yelp
I'll start with WAYYYYYY over priced for what you get!!! Seriously??? $17 for little plate of Mac & cheese?? 2nd the taste is LESS than average! Costco powder Mac & cheese way better. I'll never return to this place not even for free. Sorry guys it's not worth the tasteless calories.
google avatar

Kait L.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go. I love the creative freedom and how I can always go back and get something new. It isn't easy on the stomach, but the flavor is SOO worth it.

Yelp
We have been regulars here for the past year even though it's a 30 min drive from where I live. The quality is excellent and consistent, and the service is great. There are picnic tables for outdoor seating, but the aluminum containers are great at keeping your mac warm if you take it to go. My favorite: Hellapeno with shells, jalapeños, tomatoes, topped with BBQ pulled pork. It's the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. My husband loves the Buffalo with shells and chicken, topped with panko and hot Cheetos. The perfect mix of spicy and spicy. They also have vegan and gluten free options! The portions are huge, so it's enough for two meals.

Yelp
This place is good. Not the best I've had but still quite tasty. I got the basic Mac and cheese and the smallest piece of cake I've ever been served. The mac and cheese was tasty and seasoned a bit. I imagine with some more toppings it would be even better. The lemoncello cake tasted amazing! But it was literally the smallest piece of cake I've ever been served anywhere. I'd go there again.

Yelp
I met the owner back in like 2020 maybe 2021. He had just opened Mac'd and he was in the kitchen cooking! This was a very humble introduction, first of all. I ordered the goddess Mac I believe, and it's the best Mac I've ever had. I guess you can say I had been Mac'd. The Mac is amazing! I remember after that first time I would be revisiting. It was incredible! Well flash forward to tonight, I had it for my second time ever and I introduced it to my grandma and husband. I got the pinkies, my husband got the Buffalo and Gma got the basic. ALL were fantastic! I loved the Buffalo, it was so so good. I'll probably get that next time. My grandma loved the different add/in options. She found it unique and interesting. We ordered off grub-hub and my grandma and I both agreed it was the fastest delivery of food we had ever had! 10/10 coming again! My grandma and husband are now MAC'D

Yelp
We've passed this place plenty of times and have wanted to try it out. The portion size equals out to the price, they are huge! Two bowls is enough for a family of four. The kids loved their basic and love that they can put hot cheeto powder on it! It was delicious! My partner and I couldn't finish our portion even when we shared one bowl. Overall it's a great place for comfort food, and def worth checking out. We'll be back in the future to check out their other dishes

Yelp
Was in Portland for some shopping and fun. My son has a Mac and cheese fetish so I was looking for the best Mac and cheese options Portland had to offer. We ended up making a stop at a food truck that was closed. I got on Yelp and found this place and saw the reviews. Based off of the reviews and the pictures I was sure this was going to be the best Mac and cheese we ever had from a food establishment. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. As for customer service, they are very kind and helpful with taking your order. We ordered the basic Mac and cheese. It came out hot and ready! And looked so delicious! Literally could not wait to try it!! The truth is that it's okay, I believe with more salt and garlic that this would probably be some of the best street Mac and cheese! It is definitely cheesy!! But cheesy doesn't mean good. It just means cheesy. We added salt to ours and it helped a bit. I would recommend this place for someone who is on a restricted sodium intake because it is still good quality. Just a little low on the seasonings.

Yelp
While the mac is of course is amazing these are hands down the best Brussels I have ever had! I go the honey sriracha but also want to try the aioli one and have a sneaking suspicion they would be great together Huge portions, wish they did like a sampler option for those of use who have a cheese addition and want to try like a few bites of each. Best part is the staff know how to package for to go. I drove 45 min to come here and they knew I would have the long drive home so they made sure they were piping hot. By the time I got home they were the perfect temp! Also make amazing leftovers it we ate the Brussels in like two minutes flat

Yelp
Ordered pesto w/diced chicken, did not receive pesto w/diced chicken. When I tried to call. Had to leave a message.

Jami T.

Yelp
Any time I get a Mac and Cheese craving, I drive the 30 minutes for this place! Hands down best MAC in the Portland area.

Anna C.

Yelp
I had heard great things about this restaurant and the flavors are definitely there. The issue comes when I'm charged 8$ for a side of chicken that I never received. I tried to call this location to solve this multiple times but no one responded. I feel cheated out of my money and time.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. I first had MAC'D at their San Francisco location, and when I moved to Portland and saw they had one here, I was stoked. I've been a few times, for to-go and via DoorDash. Every time I've gotten it's been great except this last time. I always get the goddess with hot Cheetos and green onions. When I opened it this last time, there were no green onions and the noodles were so dry it's like they barely put any cheese/sauce on them. Usually it's completely coated in everything. I've also gotten the pesto one, it was great too! I will still be back because I love this place, but it was very disappointing last time!

AJ B.

Yelp
Super delicious flavors combined to invoke tastes of childhood comfort foods. Portions are sufficient to feed small villages. I will be ordering more when I recover from this food coma!

Yelp
MAC'D is serving up some decent mac & cheese in Portland! We ordered via GrubHub - super easy process. You can order the base (i.e., "The Pesto", "The Vegan") and add additional items (i.e., chicken, broccoli, hot cheetos topping). We got the Basic and Goddess. Cooked perfectly. Nicely baked. I do like my food heavily seasoned so I added a little more salt. I like that they included utensils, because I often order from places that don't offer utensils and napkins which can be problematic and messy depending on what is ordered. If you opt to pick up your order, there's a small parking lot in the back. The area always looks a bit empty so hopefully we can continue to support the local eateries there!
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
If you're looking for very cheesy mac and cheese, here's your place. The mac and cheese items I ordered were drenched in cheese so that every bite had the nice cheese pull. The items were the Basic ($12.75) and the Goddess ($12.75), which had the choices of customized ingredients such as: bacon, chicken, corn, peas, roasted mushrooms and broccoli, jalapenos, parmesan shavings, and truffle oils. The mac and cheese are served in aluminum pans, which keep them very hot. They use shredded cheese blends that seem to combine sharp and white cheddar to have the distinct cheese taste. There's also some spice blends mixed into the macaroni to give a tasty flavor instead of bland pasta. This location is located an an area with other fast food storefronts and there is a private parking lot behind the building.

Sharque A.

Yelp
Not good. Ordered pesto mac and a side of Brussel sprouts. Macaroni was overcooked, way too much cheese, pools of oil...woah. Brussels had hardly any flavor, but swimming in oil. Side sauces were meh. Couldn't finish it. No idea how this place earned above 2 stars. Pizza Hut pasta is actually better than this. Always gets recommended on Doordash, too. Why?

Yelp
This is some seriously good Mac. I will confess that as a parent of a toddler my relationship with Mac and cheese has waned a bit. It's hard to find something that the kid will eat but actually has flavor. My southern go to is too sharp so I actually had kind of given up the hunt. This Mac is just about perfect. I got the meat lovers. My only complaint is the medium of serving. If this was a sit down restaurant I'd get this every time. However as take out it gets a little tricky to eat. The short rib is tender but not really so much so that you can mash it with a fork somewhat uniformly. The pulled pork was amazing and my only regret was not rationing it out so I could have some With every bite. My wife got the goddess and was making all sorts of yum noises. She added mushrooms and peas. Props for the free veggie adds. The kid was a fan of the basic. Cheesy and creamy. Interesting but not too sharp. Did I also mention that if you tried to eat a whole order, unless your agenda included a large amount of napping, you'd be in a bad way. I like it. The Brussels were really good too and survived a trip. Perfect combo with the honey sriracha sauce. I'm sure the fries were good at some time but they didn't make the trip. We'll be back. Hopefully the kid will crave Mac soon.

Yelp
OH MY GOD! It's so hard to imagine how good Mac could be, right? Like, it's cheese and a noodle so even when it's good, can it really be mind-blowing? The answer is hell yes it can be. First of all, major respect for being open late. We were hungry and stumbled in here around 10pm, and kinda figured it would just be ok but good for 10pm. It was such a pleasant surprise it wasn't. Went with the Jalapenos and Elbows, and a Goddess with elbows, mushrooms and 4oz of pork. The jalapenos had a great flavor and was amazing. The Goddess was freaking delicious, and I could be wrong, but I believe the pork was Carlton pork, and it was freaking amazing. 4oz ended up being a good amount of pork for the dish, and in both dishes, there was soo much food there it turned into two meals for both of us. It was so good though I could barely stop eating it. Neither of us can wait to come back here! Parking was easy, we were able to park on the street, there was no line, and our food came out amazingly fast!

Palina H.

Yelp
I placed the order online on Tue Apr 09 2024 through Uber eats and my food arrived without any utensils and I was staying at the hotel so how I was supposed to eat it and ALSO!!! I got my large CAESAR salad without any dressing at all. That's crazy, I will never order from this place again because of this poor service.
google avatar

Olga I.

Yelp
I built my own Mac bowl and it was one of the best Mac and cheese bowls that I've ever had. I got the honey jalapeño cheese sauce on top of the shell pasta, with tomatoes, mushrooms, chicken, bacon, jalapeño bits, parm cheese and a breadcrumb crust. Even though the business was busy and I placed my order at the window instead of ordering ahead, I still got my food within 10 minutes and it was hot and steamy. I will definitely be coming back here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to load up on some cheesy and yummy carbs.
google avatar

Yelp
MAC'D is still operating during Covid and offering delivery via Grubhub, Postmates, Uber Eats, and Caviar. For $12+ you can get yourself a super customized bowl of mac & cheese in less than 45 mins. Back in the Bay Area I was a fan of Homeroom and their gilroy garlic mac and cheese so I definitely needed to try MAC'D "The Goddess" A HUGE pro for MAC'D is their variety of their bases, unlimited mix-ins and toppings ranging from $0-$3 ranging from bacon, shrimp, chicken, broccoli, jalapenos, corn, etc. I'm a fan of the classic elbow so with my Goddess I ended up topping it with truffle oil, bacon, and panko bread crumbs and yum! So simple and satisfying. Would recommend this combo since it also ended up being two meals for me. The only thing I would probably change is not having melted cheese on top of my bowl but just have it mixed in with the sauce. No worries if you are vegan since they do have options to have a cauliflower base, vegan cheese, and plenty of veggies. Solid restaurant option for a quick, affordable, and tasty meal delivered!
google avatar

Julie E.

Yelp
Soooooo bummed. Under new management and it shows. Will not return. Portions are about half (which is actually a good thing and still plenty to eat). Unfortunately it tasted like nothing I'd want to eat again. No more crab and cheese which is what I came back for. I ordered shrimp Mac and cheese expecting shrimp and got the micro bay shrimp. Crusty and scorched cheese vs ooey gooey goodness I look for in macaroni and cheese. Sadness.
google avatar

Caitlin M.

Yelp
I ordered take out for my first experience. Mainly because I'm at work and my coworker insisted on the greatness of this place. I was scared it was going to be overhyped but MAC'D did not disappoint! Every bite was delicious cheesy goodness that just had me saying mmmmm every time! The cheese was stringy and the dish was so flavorful. I had the Bougie and added bacon. I loved that you could customize your Mac and add all the toppings. My coworkers all ordered different variations but one in particular had the shrimp. She said next time she probably won't get shrimp, we mainly questioned the freshness and same with crab (so we did not order crab) she said the shrimp was good but not anything she would order again. I have not been to the location but I hear it's a walk up window and has outside seating available. Our takeout was still warm when delivered, portions are good sized and worth what I paid. Go eat here! Food coma was worth it
google avatar

Katy D.

Yelp
SO bummed! for $24... I was stoked about the cauliflower pasta (the gluten free option for additional $2.50). turns out - REAL cauliflower, basically raw. So instead of an awesome piping hot Mac n cheese situation on a freezing night, it was a bowl of yes tasty pesto cheese...on hard AF cauliflower and I mean legit big pieces, and crunch AF. If it was even slightly steamed id be fine. it's so crunchy, we had to turn the TV up. come on. for $24??????? get a gluten free PASTA option please.
google avatar

Karina C.

Yelp
Yummy!!!!! The service was so good and so was the food! They also have cute little picture spots!

Chad C.

Yelp
We finally decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, incredibly disappointing. The food was average at best, but priced like a high end restaurant. $21 for a poorly made Mac and cheese with 2 added toppings. The kids said "we should have gone to store and got some ANNIES".
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
You ever just look at delivery apps to see what sounds good? Well I do and I landed on mac and cheese. I love a good one and when you can customize all the better. Because yes, I'm going to put puked pork on it, always. My partner got the exact same things on his so I didn't get to sample more flavors, oh well. It was delicious and I like it when customizing doesn't seem like a hassle, but more the way it's designed to be used. You feel confident your order will be correct. It may not look at first to be a big container of good for the price, but once you get into it you realize just how much there actually is. Very filling and delicious. Nice creamy texture and you get the flavors of your add ons. I would recommend this to anyone who likes mac and cheese because, what's not to like? Delicious food at a reasonable price.
google avatar

Alana F.

Yelp
Oh my god this place is so amazing. Honestly one of My FAVORITE food places in the whole world. I work at TPI and am obsessed and come here on my break often. Love love love. PLS TRY!!

Jamila B.

Yelp
Seemed like the night workers were not comprehending my order, got charged for toppings that they did not put in the bag. Check your order before you leave!

Jay J.

Yelp
People need to start calling this place out more, thinking they can charge what they charge. $20+ for a bowl of macaroni get outa here.
google avatar

Frances L.

Yelp
OMGoodness!!!! I've never really been a fan of macaroni and cheese, grew up eating that boxed crap and never liked it. So when the cashier chuckled when I said I was going to share my Mac I thought "rude" why's he laughing at me? Then I took my first bite and the ooey-gooey cheese and flavors just exploded and then I knew why. Long story short we ended up jockeying for the last bite. The build your own Mac comes with many add-ins so you can throw in some veggies or meat. The green goddess was my favorite and there will be no sharing on my next visit;) Great location and set up. 11/10

Yelp
I was saddened a couple years ago when a delicious mac spot closed on Mississippi Ave. Then when I was driving home on 99, I saw a bright sign called Mac'D. Curious, I dug deeper online and it turned out to be what I have been craving for some time. Thankfully, they were open on Sunday and didn't close until late in the evening. I parked to the side in the heavy rain and dashed to the order window. I like the various options that were laid upon me. Essentially, you pick the base sauce, toppings, and whatever catches your taste buds. Most of the toppings are free of charge, with truffle oil, seafood, and other options at an extra charge. I placed my order, then they said I could wait in the car and then text me when it was ready to pick up. Seating is very limited outside and it's definitely meant for carry out. The portion is generous and can easily feed 2 or 3 people. I took the food home and scarfed it down since I was starving all day. What I picked was a buffalo sauce base with chorizo and chicken as the meat. I also picked out an assortment of veggies and paid extra for the truffle oil. As much as I love truffle oil, I couldn't taste much of it. Everything else however was pretty tasty. I do regret eating the whole thing in one sitting as I was pretty full for the next day or 2. I look forward in trying other dishes and mixing up the toppings. The service was great and I welcome them to Portland since it started out in the Bay Area. It's also nice that it's close by to where I live so whenever I need a mac craving, they are there to serve!
google avatar

Angela P.

Yelp
Had this has delivered to work the other day, it is the perfect thing for a diverse crowd, as the meat lovers will be happy, as well has vegatarians and vegans, as they have options for all. I tend to lean towards vegan but I couldn't resist the sound of the buffalo mac n cheese. It had the perfect amount of buffallo sauce blended in with the mac n cheese. I also order brussell sprouts which were delicous. I think the value is great as for $13 I got two meals from this. It was very filling. I think next time I will try one of the vegan options.
google avatar

Yelp
I finally get a chance to try this place out (since didn't get a chance when in SF). The Pros: - delicious mac n cheese - can choose type of pasta (elbow or shell) - can choose type of base (I highly recommend the Hellapeno over the basic) - can choose your meat & veggies toppings (with some toppings costing an additional amount) The Cons: - location not the best - no inside seating (mainly to-go orders) I got the Hellapeno with ham, bacon, chorizo, jalepenos, parmesan shavings, and hot cheetos. The dish was super tasty and very flavorful. The mac was of decent texture and not over cooked. The hot cheetos definitely gave it an extra flavor and mixed well with dish. Only drawback was we had to take it somewhere to eat as the was no seating. Also, the portions are generous and might be best to split with someone as the dish is semi heavy.

Brooke M.

Yelp
It was pretty good and I did enjoy it vary much but it was pretty pricy good service tho
google avatar

Kendall D.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place after seeing that they were new to Portland and they did not disappoint!! I tried two base sauces: the pesto and the goddess, both were amazing and the amount of meat and toppings was perfect. You can customize the type of sauce and pasta and add tons of different toppings, and only the more fancy ones cost extra. I highly recommend the goddess sauce with bacon or the pesto sauce with broccoli, but no matter what I also recommend the parmesan shavings on top! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the food arrived hot from our delivery driver. The portions were big and felt worth the price--the first thing I noticed when I picked up the food was how heavy the bag was for only 2 containers. So excited to try more sauces and toppings soon!

Jay P.

Yelp
My friend had mentioned this place and it dawned on me that I heard of it and remembered it from a TV show on the Food Network, so I was glad that now I just have to go to Portland to try it. We ordered the Hellapeno and the Pesto mac and cheeses with chicken and bacon. The Hellapeno was the favorite of the two. It was just right in spicy and with the creamy cheese just went well together. The Pesto was also very good, the only thing I would say that is a negative that it is very savory and to eat a whole dish of it would be difficult for me. The pesto would be a great come back to later dish. My boys also approved and liked it very much so it was a great experience. If you are craving Mac & Cheese, definitely a great place to go.

Yelp
Food: Plain , no cheese , dry . I got the Buffalo Mac with chicken fritters . I should have asked my little cousin to make some box Mac and Dino nuggets . Would cost 2$ instead of 30$ and would be infinitely better , plus my little cousin would serve it with happiness:)
google avatar

Tasha L.

Yelp
You can customize your Mac and cheese..what more could you want? As an adult, this is the best thing I could ask for. Plus the food is absolutely delicious
google avatar

Brenda M.

Yelp
Good as I remembered! It was perfect on a nice sunny day and they have little picnic tables on the outside.

Sherlyn M.

Yelp
It was pouring outside and we were craving some good ol' comfort food. You know when you crave cheesy creamy carbs! We found this place on DoorDash and just went ahead and ordered the Pesto and the Basic. We had the pesto with the shell pasta, chicken, bacon, mushrooms and broccoli (cuz we wanted some greens). And the basic with cauliflower instead of pasta, chicken, bacon, ham and chorizo. The pesto was simply amazing. It had broccoli and tasted awesome - I mean how, how, how? And then the Basic - I made a mistake here. I thought when they said cauliflower, they meant cauliflower pasta, you know, like the gluten free chickpea pasta box you get at the store. But it was actual cauliflower florets. Anyway it didn't matter - because they are magicians - How the hell did they make cauliflower taste sooooo good! we found a place for our comfort food for sure!

Yelp
Covid brings with it the need to hunt and find places to eat. It reminds me of hunting for mushrooms. You can go along for long periods of time and just never find anything edible or anything that you want. Then you pass by it the first time. You see a line and wonder what is that place about? Then you pass it again at another time and there is the line again. Now you think I should check this place out. It's a jewel in the Covid nile. Already set up as a take away restaurant it shares table with 3-5 other restaurants in the same building. There is not really a set menu. You build what you want. There are also some set items and a specials board that always offers tempting options. You select the pasta then choose the sauce there are plenty of options to choose from for add ons. Some cost additional most do not. Proteins are additional. One dish is good enough to share or choose two and know that you will have some for lunch the next day. I've always had a good tasty meal. The pasta is always cooled just right. I prefer the al dente so it's perfect for me. A good amount of cheese and then a little more. I really enjoyed the chilli mac. The chili had just the right amount of heat. There was ground meat in it. This made for three meals. I like the vegetable options to add in. They also offer cauliflower as a gluten free option. Have not tried this. Definitely worth calling in and picking up. If the weather is nice it's kind of a little oasis. The deck does get a lot of sun bit there are plenty of umbrella to hide under.

Yelp
Comforting. Cheesy. Noodley. Seriously what more do you need? Throw in some ham, roasted broccoli and top with panko crumbs. Okay yes you've experienced this before BUT the big difference with Mac'd is I can get regular nooodles, gluten free noooodles, dairy cheese, vegan cheese and combine all sorts of other ingredients that accommodate anyone's dietary needs. Plus bonus round- ding ding ding - the portions are HUGE!!! I love it and so will you.

Yelp
I told them my wife is vegetarian and to make her mac and cheese with peas and broccoli. Instead the placed half of the meat that I ordered in her order plus mushrooms. I'd like a refund on my order for Robert! Never buying here again.

Yelp
Outrageously expensive and tasteless!! Huge RIP OFF! Stay away unless 7$ lemonade, and more than $16 for small bland macaroni n cheese appeals to you. I'd give this minus 1 star if i could, Horrid!!!!
