This place is dead. It really doesn’t surprise me at all. We ordered the seafood boil and not so many options to choose from. We ended up doing the mussels and shrimp. With the most disgusting sauce, it was mushy and lumpy. Ordered mild it felt like I had a bomb inside my mouth. Unbearable to eat. The shrimp were chewy & overcooked. The hard boil eggs were so hard they must have been days old. We have always loved the kicking crab and it’s a huge difference. The food here was just not good. Please just don’t go here. 9/14 I’m gonna respond to you. I know exactly the time and what I ordered. Maybe I said mild which you specify I ordered the medium spice. The meal was finished by my guest which he was like it’s whatever. I don’t eat spice, other than that it doesn’t justify that your food was horrible. The eggs were so overcooked and the shrimp were chewy. Sometimes it’s best to walk out of a restaurant than complain about it but I am entitled to reviewing it. Now you coming back saying that as an owner of your restaurant it makes me not ever want to come back. I probably won’t. But next time don’t over cook your eggs don’t overcook your shrimp and never try to make a customer feel we are not entitled to a review.

Second seafood boil restaurant i have been to. The other was in upstate New York. This was excellent. Got the shrimp lover and calamari sticks. We had a hot Cajun and a full house medium. The medium still packed some heat. And the hot is 🔥. If I come back to California, I will be back! It was busy, and the waitress brought us a bag but never came back with the check or came back to check if we needed another drink. So I think they need more help and they had slippery when wet signs piled in a corner and boxes and supplies by the exit. One of the stalls was actually backed up also. Again thinking they need more staff. Over all the food was amazing and and it is the food that brings me back!

The fries are spectacular, and the potatoes and sausage are great. The shrimp pretty solid. I’ve been here several times, and the food is always consistent. The beer and micheladas are fantastic, and I really appreciate the setup: plenty of TVs showing sports, polite servers, and it’s never overly crowded. I can think of other shrimp spots with hour-long waits where the food is the same. This place is a great alternative, good eats, chill vibes, and an overall enjoyable spot to relax.

Wow. I’ve never had such an incredible dining experience anywhere else. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and a smile, making me feel instantly welcome. Getting seated was seamless, and I could tell right away that this place isn’t just about food, it’s about creating a memorable experience. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was a burst of flavor, cooked to perfection with incredible attention to detail. You can tell they truly care about quality and presentation. I’ve had many seafood dishes before, but nothing compares to the freshness and richness here. But what really sets Mad Claw apart are the staff. They are so friendly, attentive, and passionate about making sure every guest leaves happy. Their enthusiasm and kindness make the whole experience even better, it’s like dining with friends who genuinely care. Honestly, I can’t recommend Mad Claw enough. I’ve found my go-to spot for amazing food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would never go anywhere else, this place has stolen my heart!

This is my first time here and I would definitely come back. We got here at 4:30 on a Monday. It was very clean, and our waitress / hostess was very welcoming. The ambiance was really nice and I like the decor of it all. We ordered fried calamari to start. My kid got the deep fried Alaskan sole with tater tots and a side of corn. I got the shrimp not peeled with corn. I ordered it with the full house sauce, which is basically all the Cajun seasoning mixed together. I got to say it was really good. Next time I would try it with each individual seasoning. My kids fish was seasoned well and not over cooked or soggy. It was more food than I expected and I paid 57 bucks for everything. They had yummy looking drinks on the menu which I will try next time. I say give this place a try. It is hidden in the back of the other restaurants.

The food was ok . My husband asked for garlic butter flavor, and they came out to say they didn't have any. My husband said he can't have anything spicy she said the mild isn't spicy. When they brought out my husband's food, he couldn't eat it because it was too spicy. All the waiter said was sorry. She didn't ask if we wanted to exchange it or anything . My brother's fish was iver cooked. The lemon pepper wings were good and so was the mac n cheese bites . The crab boil was just ok.

Box with yellow paper was 1 week before this purchase. They had decreased the amount of food for the same price. The calamari was only 11 skinny pieces for $9.99. Ordered 2 portions of class and from the picture, only 1 portion was given. Called them about it and was told they could not do anything because I ordered it through Door dash. Food was way too salty and seems like standard had dropped significantly. Shrimps were not fresh because they were mushy. Thought i found a great place initially hence going back within a week's time. Boy, was i extremely disappointed at this. Total cost of 2 portions of shrimp, 2 portions of clams, Calamari and okra was $83. Terrible!

I bought 2 lb of green mussels. Unfortunately the mussels were very over cooked felt very mushy not very fresh or near fresh lol The seasoning was to dry and pastie texture not enough butter and had a weird taste. Our waiter was very polite and nice to us had a great personality. I would encourage this place to taste their food and try something new with the seasonings and quality of the mussels , shrimps ect. This place has potential to be better. One thing for sure they had GOOD music playing.

Joselyn was an amazing server. Very outgoing, great personality, made our visit extra special. Food was full of flavor, drinks were delicious! Thank you Joselyn for the great experience!

Love sea food broil decided to try this place driving back home from San Diego service was good and food was great can never go wrong with a sea food broil

This place is soooooo delicious! I came here on a weekday and weekend and I was assisted right away. Staff are extremely attentive and super kind. The environment is clean and aesthetic to fit the seafood boil style. I always get the peeled shrimp with potatoes and corn full house and I've tried both hot and medium- just a heads up they are . I as a spice lover thought medium was good for me. The Cajun fries are also so good and always fresh. For drinks, the fish bowl is a HIT and the miches are sooooo fire. Really enjoyed this place and will definitely be coming back, it is now my seafood boil spot! 10/10 recommend.

Food was Oky, prices are way too expensive for the amount you get. Nothing special really. Service was great!

It's the sauce. In comparison to other places this sauce just doesn't have the it factor. I also ordered garlic noodles and it was milky. Just wasn't my cup of tea. The service was great and the ambiance was nice to just wasn't the taste I was looking for.

I used to come here all the time but hadn't been in a while since we moved farther away. I was recently in town so decided to stop by. Service was quick and our waitress was nice. However, the food was just okay in my opinion. We ordered shrimp in their full house sauce. The sauce wasn't as good as I remembered and the shrimp was a bit overcooked.

This is our favorite bag o' goodness restaurant. My husband and I share the shrimp lovers with green mussels and clams. We feel it is definitely worth it to order the shrimp peeled. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe and there are plenty of TVs if you want to enjoy watching a game.

Service was great since the waiter was very friendly and very helpful. They played laid-back music, which had a relaxing vibe. The shrimp was cooked perfectly well, but the potatoes were slightly rough vs. soft. The sauce was bold, spicy, and flavorful. It paired nicely with the shrimp and added a kick to the aftertaste. Will be back to try something else.

The food and service is great but kinda pricy need money to dine here. I will be back when i have the money

1st time here! Ordered the family meals with shrimp, mussels, clams, crawfish, corn, potato and sausage. It was delicious! We had never had seafood boil so we were new to the bibs, no plates or utensils! It was fun to eat! Definitely a different experience. Also ordered the Cajun curly fries, loved the ketchup and ranch sauce too! The garlic bread was tasty! The service was good! Price was reasonable. Lots of food! We're coming back again.

The shrimp was super fresh and tasty. I truly enjoyed my stay. The server was nice and friendly. A big plus is they had their TVs on (football Saturday) to watch during our stay. The seating area was super clean and well kept. It was a bit lonely but we did show up at a weird time. But overall I loved my food and beer.

It was OK. I wouldn't run back. Prices are pretty insane to me, especially because you're not eating fresh caught seafood. I was disappointed with the lack of communication. For example, if you tell me I can substitute an item, then I shouldn't be charged for the new item. It's not like I was discounted for the item they took off. Also, $15. For a kids' meal was insane. The Cajun fries were delicious, but the fish was not good. Over all, it was just ok to me.

I love this seafood restaurant, the food is delicious. Great service, friendly crew, and the ambiance is relaxing.

The place was 30% full, 45 minutes after check in and no food in our table. The flavors of the sauces are ok, not great. Once they topped 1 of our waters. After 10-12 minutes of completing our meal I had to stand up to someone notice and get our Check. Then only item is in the ok is the ambience!

The shrimps are not fresh. I had diarrhea after eating them. .............. nnnnnnnnnn

Food 10/10 service was actually good. I say actually because I read some reviews about bad service and was a little hesitant but I have no complaints. Good food good service.

Service was horrible. Waited for over 30 minutes for someone to ask if we needed anything. Glasses accumulated and wanted to order another drink. There were only 4 people total in the restaurant and both employees were in the back. We watched as they came in and out from the back again not asking if we needed anything. One of the employees eventually came out and did not acknowledge us or the other table. She propped up her phone and proceeded to watch bobs burgers. Owner had just left and I wish I could've spoken to him. Photos of our table before and after have been included along with how myself and who I came with had to clean up because the employees did not offer once to clean up our table.

Service is good, happy that they have scallops. Sauce is bold and better compared to other seafood boil places that have mid sauce. Food also came out fresh and hot, all pieces were fully cooked.

The food was amazing! The crawfish was really good and the shrimp was also super delicious!

First, let me start off by saying the waitress was absolutely amazing, She was sweet and She was attentive just overall 10 out of 10. Regarding the Food, me, my children and friends went on Sunday Aug 3rd so a total of six people went and ate. We had a movie scheduled at Victoria Gardens a little bit after our lunch there. The food was delicious However Immediately afterwards before even making it to the movies our stomachs became severely cramped. My children had explosive diarrhea. I've suffered with nausea and throwing up for over a week just having to drink plenty of water to flush out whatever that was and having to literally on a liquid and soup diet the following week. We eat at crab boil restaurants regularly and have never experienced this type of reaction with our stomachs. I definitely won't be back with my family and friends ever.

flavor is alright not really there compared to other places, also if you get crab they don't have the crab/lobster cracking tolls, instead an old pair of scissors attached to a dirty basket. I was charged for extra sauce and never received it. I even had to remind my waitress they forgot the main item in my bag. Nothing too special.. Price is average for seafood.

Mad claw has been a new experience for me and it's been amazing! Natalie and Jonathan have been great servers and the food never misses! My go to are the garlic cheese curds and the shrimp hehe

I love seafood and this place has it all. Great sauce when you choose the everything sauce flavor, and portions were generous. Oysters were large in size and presented nicely. Service was friendly. I recommend.

The service was very slow and not friendly at all. I informed them we were celebrating a birthday and got no acknowledgement. The food we ordered was cold and the chicken strips for the kids came out to us raw. The filet of fish was also raw. Garlic needles were more like soupy noodles. We waited for over an hour to receive our food.

Calamari was not as picture but sticks! The clam chowder also not as shown. Soup came in a small paper cup. Bery disappointed. The souo did taste good.

Service was terrible, waitresses came to take our order and never came back. Took forever to get my check and had to hunt down a waitress in order for me to pay. Food was ok, was too salty for my taste. I order mild and was almost positive they gave me medium and I expressed my concerns to the waitress and she said she can only give me butter to dilute it and couldn't remake it. 1st time being here and definitely going to be the last.

No wait, great ambiance, great music played and service was great! The food was really good too, I'd say my only complaint was that their "mild" was more like "hot" so we had to dip everything in butter to lessen the kick but besides that it was delicious. That was my only reason for four stars and not five.

When you get the garlic butter sauce, mild heat and the Cajun seasoning it's so delicious.! I ordered the snow crab legs with potatoes and corn. This place is laid-back casual dining perfect to get a little messy and have some beers. The last few times I have on the service has been a little slow. Which was interesting, because there is only a couple people in the restaurant. But needless to say, the food was good.

Negative star if possible. I came to this place which was highly recommended. The service was garbage and had us waiting at our table for a long time. After ordering, our shrimp was served cold and uncooked. When I complained about the food, the childish server had the audacity yo bring me the bill. I should have just walked out but instead did the right thing, paid for the drinks and appetizers.

We received horrible service from both the hosts and our server John. (A couple weeks ago) They were rude from the get go. It seemed as if they didn't want to be there. He took a very long time to even greet us and get us started with drinks. Food was okay, however the service is the reason why I won't be returning.

I can't even say terrible service because i did not get any. Intentionally ignoring people that have been on the list for an hour. Host in the back waiting for them to leave instead. Do not waste your money here.

if I could give zero stars I would ! I went there the other night with my partner it was a slow Tuesday night there was only two other people there and we had such a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I was served RAW SAUSAGE it was pink and the crab had black spots and the center of the cluster was completely black !!! We immediately stop eating and told our waitress and showed her she offered a refund or another bag but kitchen staff said they would not give a refund and that's what happens when they boil it too much and kept the food I've never had crab served like that such a health hazard!! DO NOT GO THERE

I moved to the IE area recently and was looking for some good Cajun crawfish and crab. So glad I came across this place! The food and their special seasoning is SO GOOD. I really enjoyed the food and would definitely revisit! Highly recommend!

The food here was probs the best seafood I had in 2024! The team here is very personally and I really felt like it was run properly compared to the chains. Get the king crab. Trust. 2 lbs is not even enough. Forgot to take pics cuz I just ate it to fast Hahahha
