"Lark Hospitality has plenty of experience with this sort of thing; The Madison Hotel dates back to 1929, and in its restored and renovated incarnation it’s a small, memorable, and rather luxurious boutique hotel. What’s unusual for this New England–born brand is that it’s not in the Northeast but in Oak Cliff’s Bishop Arts District, a particularly vibrant and creative corner of Dallas, Texas." - Tablet Hotels

Phenomenal stay at The Madison last night. The staff was attentive to detail, understanding, helpful, and was willing to work with us last minute. The room itself was great. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in recently. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were great. On top of all of that the check in and check out process was easy and super convenient and worked well with our hectic schedule. The decor the hotel itself makes you feel like you’re in the shining (but not in a creepy way) and is beautiful to boot. I will definitely be not only recommending others to stay here, but I will be back soon myself.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay in July! The location is close to the thriving Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts area, where there are plenty of food options. I felt safe walking to and from the room, which was important since I was walking to my room close to 7:30, 8:30 pm. What I really enjoyed about the hotel itself was the Social Hour, where you could grab a soda or wine of your choice. The decor was nice, puts you in the mind of Dark Academia aesthetic. The front desk was accommodating. Rooms are somewhat small but not that big of an issue since I was a solo traveler. Anyways, can't wait to visit again!

So you're wondering where you should stay in Dallas. So many choices! So many locations! Well, look no further. This hotel will hit all the notes you're hoping to hit for your time in this enormous and twisty city. Close enough to downtown to make getting there VERY easy (tram stop straight to downtown is literally half a block from the front door), but far enough away that it's in a quiet neighborhood. The clientele is relaxed, the staff attentive, the amenities just right. Not too pushy, not too lazy. The rooms aren't huge, but are really well appointed. Don't expect much from the views out the windows, but do expect comfy clean beds, a soft comforting shower, and easy access to all the city has to offer. We will DEFINITELY be coming back to stay here next time we're in town.

An amazing experience from start to finish! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. From the outstanding customer service to the beautiful and unique interior design, everything was just perfect. The atmosphere of the hotel makes you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere else — it’s stunning! What stood out the most was the cleanliness and that bed… seriously one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The room temperature was also super comfortable, which was a big plus considering the Dallas heat. The girls at the front desk were amazing — they answered my messages right away and helped me with all my questions. I traveled with a friend and we both agreed: next time we’re in Dallas, we’re definitely staying here again!

Overall we had a really nice stay here at The Madison. It’s kind of like a cute little bed and breakfast. One issue we had is the bathroom door was almost impossible to lock and there is no door on the shower so I felt like I was getting water everywhere. Also, the lighting in the rooms are very dim. However, there is good light from the window while the sun is up! We were woken up by a fire alarm in the middle of the night and was quickly messaged that a guest was smoking in their room. I was appreciative that we quickly were told what the issue was to ease any concerns.

Lovely historic home located in the Bishop Arts District. We were in town for a graduation, so did not spend as much time there as we would have liked, but we enjoyed the stay a great deal. Rooms were very well done and the space was used wisely, also very quiet. The front desk attendant was very attentive and went out of her way to be helpful all of the time. The automated check-in/out procedures were very easy and helpful. Overall, great place and we will certainly return!

I had a lovely stay at the Madison hotel! The location is perfectly central. We were walking distance to Bishop Arts district for food and bars and Downtown Dallas was less than 10 minutes away driving. The hotel itself was recently renovated - think stylish & hip with a swanky speakeasy lodge vibe. The room had black out curtains which is a LIFESAVER for me and the bed and pillows were extra comfy. Front desk was available during the day for my needs and they offered a complimentary happy hour to chat amongst the guests. They also had a microwave along with filtered water to replace your water bottle which I usually don’t see. Didn’t hear any noise from my neighbors but I see an occasional face. Will def be staying here again for the private vibes. Shout out to Stephanie the GM for making my stay special, I will be back again and again. ❤️🩷

My husband and I stayed here for a business trip. We enjoyed the quaint decor and the outdoor games very much but what made the stay so special was their staff. It’s not every day you come across genuine, unassuming people so my special shout out to Bianca who went out of her way, unprompted, to help me with something super important!
