11 Best Places for Shopping in Florence | Condé Nast Traveler

"Culture vultures pack into the Uffizi gallery; fashionistas flock to The Mall. This high-end designer outlet village, set in the lovely Tuscan countryside just south of Florence, runs regular hour-long shuttle buses from Florence’s Santa Maria Novella train station. Well-laid out with wooden walkways, green lawn, and plenty of space, the complex can get very crowded at peak times (during high tourist season and sales) with long lines forming outside the most popular shops, including Prada, Gucci, and Balenciaga; but it's all worth the fuss if you're lucky enough to bag that pair of Ferragamo shoes for cheap." - Nicky Swallow

The mall in Florence looks promising at first glance—clean, modern, and packed with shiny stores that make you think you’re about to stumble on some designer steals. Spoiler: you’re not. Most of the “deals” feel like someone just slapped a 10% discount on last season’s leftovers and called it a day. If you’re hunting for a hidden gem or a wow-worthy bargain, bring low expectations and maybe a magnifying glass. The staff? Mostly hovering between uninterested and “why are you talking to me?” vibes. Not rude, just… emotionally unavailable. Also, no food options?? In Italy?? How are you gonna call yourself a mall and not even offer a sad little food court? I walked out with nothing but disappointment and low blood sugar. Nice floors though.

We’ve heard so many great things about this outlet that we were disappointed with the visit. Perhaps it’s off sale season but what I’ve seen on TikTok showed really big discounts on Loro Piana (up to 70%) but when we were there (April 9) there didn’t seem to be much of a sale with the brands there. Burberry had some items which offered additional 30% but price works out to be the same as what we would get at the Paris La Vallée outlets. No additional discounts for Visa Infinite nor hands free shopping available here at the mall. Also outlets like Prada and monclear are not part of the mall but it’s just next to it. Similarly discounts at Prada and Gucci wasn’t as great as I’ve experienced in other outlets, disappointed considering they are Italian brands. All in all to say, check out if they have a sale otherwise not sure if it’s worth going especially if you’re visiting other European cities with outlets. Also the food available there is quite terrible so if you have a car, good to venture out to the hills for lunch but they have closure times around 2.30pm

Some shops really have good discounts, deals, some - mm not so much and choice is meh. I didn't come on weekends, I tried to go during the week so there wouldn't be a line, but for example, there's still a line in certain boutiques, even though there are only 3-4 people walking around in the boutique, but you still wait, like in YSL. I guess due to security reasons and limited staff. But Gucci, for example, you can go in, the capacity is bigger. Prices: yes they are discounts if you look carefully for few hours. But also do not expect that you can buy a luxury premium brand for 100-200 €, there are no such prices on average, well, T-shirts start somewhere around 300 €, bags 800 - 1000 of euros at least, well and outerwear is also around 1000 €, that is, in general, and for shoes, it is also very difficult because all the popular sizes are already taken apart, naturally, they are not there at all in the outlets. The consultants were generally polite, but it was as if there was a limited number of them and there was not enough for everyone. If we talk about the Mall itself, the transfer was very good, it took us quickly for 15 € there and back, somewhere around 50 min - an hour we got there depending on the traffic and everything was comfortable, there are toilets, there are also cafeteria, but be prepared for a long line, especially during lunch there is a long line but in principle if you wait you can get good food. Overall, I recommend if there are brands that you like there, because you can definitely find something, for example, I didn’t go there on purpose, but after spending a couple of hours there I still found a bag and glasses for myself, you just don’t need to have any high expectations and then everything will work out for you!

Great outlet This is the perfect outlet For luxury brands lovers :) Perfect stores with great prices, we loved gucci store, it is huge store with large selection. It is near to Florence ~20 minutes driving, for sure worth it to visit

Google
Perfect shopping mall! I took a shuttle ride behind the Firenze station which is about 50mins travelling period to reach the outlet. It seems to have been worth it visiting The Mall especially with those impressive discounts on luxury brands. Shopping at an outlet with prices reduced by 30-70% must have made the trip even more exciting. The only issue is the restaurant and food offerings there. Only one restaurant and busy all the time! Recommend to visit for anyone heading to Florence with designer shopping in mind.

Worth the Trip - The Mall Firenze I recently drove from Rome to The Mall Firenze, which took about two and a half hours, and it was absolutely worth the journey! Having visited this outlet mall a few years ago while staying in Florence, I was excited to return, and it did not disappoint. The Mall offers fantastic discount outlet prices on a wide selection of high-end brands, making it a shopper's paradise. Whether you’re looking for designer clothing, accessories, or shoes, you’ll find something special here. Plus, there’s a tax-free office on site, which adds to the savings! Overall, I highly recommend a visit to The Mall Firenze for anyone looking for great deals and a luxurious shopping experience. It’s a perfect day trip from Rome!

Google
Outlets are not what they use to be , don’t expect anything classic lines or traditional, overstocked seasonal products and some damaged products are sold here But this outlet is different the scenery and leccio hills are just beautiful part of tuscany Worth the visit many brands you dont see and experience in any outlets . Its usually busy get here early and hope to catch something special . You could do you tax free claim here ( planet , global , yellow submarine)

Google
Amazing experience, we booked a very beautiful room in a villa (villa Casagrande) about 15 minutes drive to the mall. The mall wasn't too crowded but we did have to wait for a bit at Gucci and Burberry. The promotional sales were out of this world. Maybe because it was the right timing to go, January 2nd and I will go today as well as there are a few more shops I want to visit. The only minor downside is - only one restaurant/Cafe for such a huge place. Other than that it was perfect.

Yelp
We decided to visit this venue in the hopes of finding amazing bargains for designer items. They have all the Italian brands - Gucci, Prada, etc - in addition to other brands like YSL and Burberry. One of the clerks told me the bargains were better for the Italian brands. Though I didn't find anything for myself my friends were very pleased with their purchases and also the fact they were able to get the tax refund here ( you still need to do a final step at the airport). We took the reasonably priced shuttle from the train station. There is also a decent cafe on the premises.

Yelp
I was so looking forward to buying at the Mall in Florence Italy. Problem was the stock was very limited in their sizes, I guess less it more. Size 00 and 0 was a little laughable. It is obvious they cater to a certain demographic. It really wasn't work the time to go.

Yelp
The Mall is easy to get to by bus for only 15 Euros round trip from Florence. It's easy to find near the train station. However our driver was a psychopath. Speeding on a wet and curvy expressway, tailgating behind trucks and talking on his phone while driving. Also two girls tried to board one minute after departure but instead of taking a minute to check them on board he said the bus is leaving and closed the doors. I didn't find any outlet mall bargains but I did find a few discounted items from last season at Loro Piana.

Yelp
The Mall is about 1.25 hours from Florence. Our hotel assisted in arranging a private driver for is from Florence to The Mall to the Livorno port for 600 euro for 4 pax for 6.5 hours time. Our driver Luigi was great, prompt, drove a Mercedes Van, air conditioned. Stores: Gucci ( the best prices!), Prada, Burberry ( good prices), Valentino, Saint Laurent, Tos's, Ferragamo, Fendi, Hugo Boss, Armani, Zegna, Tom Ford.....great labels if you are into that.If you want to go to Gucci, I suggest queuing up at 9:44 am - the lines get very long and go to the shoes first! Prada wasn't a great deal - or was maybe 10-15% off the retail price.

Yelp
Disappointment. Went hoping to snag some deals at Gucci and returned empty handed. I inquired about my size in 10 different styles and they were out in every single one of them. They had a few cool belts as well but also only available in either the smallest or largest size they were made in complete waste of time, regret wasting a day in Florence in this.

Yelp
Now I am not a person who buys designer brand name clothing of any kind, but my girlfriend is and she really wants to check out this premium outlet mall that's simply call The Mall as we are in Florence. We didn't rent a car at the time and The Mall is actually a bit away outside of Florence, but luckily after a quick search on their website, they actually have shuttle service for a fair ticket price. Amazingly, the shuttle bus terminal is not too far from our hotel either. It was a very nice scenic ride of seeing a different part of Florence that we didn't get to walk and explore and a glimpse of the beautiful hilly side of Tuscany when the bus was on the way there. When we went there were not many people on the bus so there's plenty of seats for social distance and it's also a double decker so you can sit upstairs to have a better view as well. But once we got closer to The Mall, you can see how big the place is. Again, I am not here to shop but I am very fascinated by the pricing they offer here for the products, especially comparing it to US dollar or any other East Asian countries price due to high tax of selling premium luxury goods there. I simply follow my girlfriend around to all the luxury brands stores that she wants to check out. She bought a good amount of goods from Gucci as they have one of the bigger store there compared to other ones. We also had a chance to grab a bite at the cafe/restaurant there and had some decent pasta dish while we took a break from shopping. One of the advantage there is that you get your duty-free tax rebate done on-site instead of having it done at the airport only. They will take care of everything and you simply show the paperwork and the goods at Customs before flying back so you will save a lot of time. So gentlemen, don't discount yourself on not coming to The Mall, you can definitely save quite a bit of money and still able to get high quality luxury brand clothing as gifts or for yourself here.

Yelp
An outlet that sells exclusively high-end designer items? Nice! I walked around the mall and documented the prices and sales at the most popular stores here. This will give you an idea of what is being sold, their prices, how much, and sale percentages off. Came here during the Christmas-New Year holiday break. Leaving some prices below, but the YouTube video will have everything. Basically, if you've ever walked into a boutique store and liked something, take ~40% off that price. Here's a YouTube review! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HA_f0WW4ltU (There is an index of stores in the description!) bottega veneta (40%+ off) - 255+ wallets - 1210+ laptop bags burberry (35%-70% off) - 110+ scarfs - 359+ coats moncler (30%+ off) - 590+ jackets gucci (40%+ off) - 120+ scarf - 220+ shoes - 550+ bags/tote bag ferragamo (40%+ off) - half shoes, quarter bags, quarter clothes - 250+ shoes saint laurent - half clothes, half bags - 520 clutch - 775 laptop bag - 150+ shoes coach - everything more expensive here than USA prada - so many clothes and bags - 250+ wallets - 110+ shoes - 150+ jeans - 1200 saffiano bag tag heuer - a bit too expensive here compared to USA valentino (35%+ off) - rockstud 450 (from 750) armani (40%+ off) - huge selection of bags, shoes, and clothes Givenchy - antigona mini 839

Yelp
I had an excellent shopping experience at this outlet location. Brands are ranging from high-end like Gucci , YSL, Prada, Burberry, Givenchy to more affordable brands like Michael Kors, Coach and more. Be prepared to spend 5 to 10 minutes in line to get inside each brand's store and at the checkout. Weekends tend to be busier then weekdays.

Yelp
I came here for emotional support and to give my wife my opinion on the clothes she wanted to try on lol. This is the second high end fashion outlet I've been to over the years in Italy. It's big and spread out! The deals seemed pretty good and they had lot of stores my wife was looking for. For the guys they a food hall with a couple different restaurants to choose from. It was okay, but not great in my opinion. We pre-booked a bus to bring us here for the shopping. From Florence it takes about 50 minutes, which is not too bad. If you did the same thing, but want to leave earlier like we did just show the bus driver your ticket and you'll be good to go. They will pick you in the exact same place where they dropped you off in the morning.

Yelp
This mall was so epic I almost want to keep it a secret! High end designers are literally 40-50% off retail prices!!! The deals are great however, that is not equivalent to cheap. It is still a designer price tag. There is a direct bus that leaves the train station for a few euros however, I took the direct shuttle which was €35 for door to door pick up and return. Worth every penny! I could not imagine dragging me and my bags back from the train station. Plus I got to take a nap on my way back without fear of my goods or purse being stolen. When you take the shuttle, you get coupons, free drink at the Gucci cafe, and "cut the line" at both Gucci and Tax free lounge. I shopped Valentino, Fendi, Aquazurra, YSL, Burberry, Moschino, Alexander McQueen, Chloe, Givenchy and Tods. Be prepared to spend $200-600 on a pair of shoes (Tod/ Hogan were a lower price point). $800-1200 for purses. Large Burberry store with classic trench coats between $350-700. Versace leather jackets for €600-1,200 ( be weary, not everything is made in Italy!) Staff were very nice and helpful within the stores. Many English speakers. Didn't go into Gucci so cannot speak for their service. I appreciate these designers who reduce their ecological foot print and do not destroy their unsold stock. I went on a Tuesday in March, around 10am-1pm and it was deserted! No lines to enter or pay!! I can't wait to go back!!!

Yelp
Have extra time - go to say you did. However, if you're from the US and enjoy our style of gaining a great bargain at upscale outlets, then you're going to be disappointed . I did feel like I lucked up at Ferragamo, but I've read all of the other reviews and had a plan. See my Ferragamo review for more details. The Tod's loafers are cheaper in the states by $75 and you can buy them new online. Prada - well I tried , but wasn't impressed. However, if this is your designer vice , they do have a large store. Skip the large long line of people and Aim for other sights first. The line for Prada was gone within an hour of opening at 10am. They all moved to Gucci afterwards , where the line remained, but seemed to be moving at a steady pace. I did follow the reviews well and went to the back of the Gucci building to enjoy a pistachio custard treat and cappuccino on the rooftop cafe. It really was nice and relaxing. Do your homework before you go, bc the Wifi doesn't work well, nor did my ATT foreign cell plan that I signed up prior. If you know approximately how much your items cost and the euro exchange , your can cap your time here in 2 hours and get to Tuscany for some real culture !! In bocca al lupo!!!

Yelp
If you are a designer label junkie and love Italian brands, this place is a must-stop. A brand new PRADA outlet has opened here (so you don't have to also go to the Space outlet) and it is phenomenal. The Prada store is, in my opinion, worth the trip. The deals are amazing (there's even a shoe clearance section where you can shop by price -- some of the shoes started at 50 Euros per pair) and there is a great selection of gorgeous Prada and Miu Miu handbags. Let's be clear -- this is NOT an outlet mall for normal American outlet shoppers. These are designer labels with designer prices. Expect things like a $10,000 Armani suit marked down 40%. That's still a lot of money, but worth it if you love designer duds. I'm a Balenciaga freak and I was very disappointed in their outlet. There was nothing from the popular motorcycle line, just pretty ugly bags that failed to sell at their major retail stores (and for good reason). It seemed like at most of the stores you'd make out like a bandit if you wore between a size 12 - 14 women's in the U.S. and larger shoe sizes (both men and women) as well. I saw lots of cute shoes for women in U.S. size 10 and 11, but not much in the more popular sizes (7, 8, 9, 10). And men, make sure you try on EVERYTHING because European sizes run much, much smaller. Even if it's marked an XXL, it will probably fit like a US size Large. A great day trip from Florence. Lots of free parking and a nice snack bar on site.

Yelp
Deals galore!!! Visited in March 2018 and fell in love. All high end stores but without the price

Yelp
I have to tell ya, I was so excited to go to this mall and had planned it way before my Italy trip. It is located an hour away from Florence in a beautiful area up in the hills. It's an outdoor mall with most of the luxury brands most of us love like Gucci, Prada, Dolce, Valentino, Burberry, Ferragamo, Moncler and more. Overall, I am glad I went as the prices are nearly half of what you would pay at a regular store. However, most of the items you see in stores are old styles and many are not the classic items you would normally see in the regular stores. If you dig and look hard, you can find good stuff but you have to spend the time. Gucci was a little disappointing to me as most items in there were either the off weird colors or the styles were several seasons old. They were also very low in shoe sizes so if you're a 7 or 8, you might be out of luck. Gucci cafe is nice and worth a visit for a cup of coffee and snack. I really liked the Prada store and found much better items there. Be prepared to spend a full day if you want to see everything. You'll also be fighting a ton of people specially in the Gucci store as some were pushing and shoving to get to items. I found it really annoying. People try taking photos of EVERYTHING. Some stores will have lines to get in so try to arrive by 10 AM when they open. Overall, worth a visit but I wouldn't go back.
google avatar

Judy C.

Yelp
The mall is spacious and very organized doesn't get too crowded, deals are great. Gucci and Saint Laurent is a must but if you prefer others: Burberry, Moncler, Fendi, Prada, Tod's and other brands. Gucci should be your first stop it gets crowded. Be prepared for lines! There's a tax free stop also if your in need of Euros (cash). However, you must leave your credit card information for guarantee.

Yelp
Yes. Yes. Yes. First off, I would like to say that I am not liking these racist reviews about specific ethnicities visiting the Mall. We are all human beings, please refrain from singling out a particular race. it is NOT cool. Yes some of the stores get crowded, but I have always liked the quirkier or less loved brands. I must say, the Gucci store was beautiful. It's an outlet store you say? It is three times bigger and cleaner than any Gucci store I have ever seen. If you like Gucci, you'd be hard pressed not finding something you like here. The Prada store is just as big and fits Miu Miu in as well. I purchased Prada boots and Miu Miu boots for about 300 Euros. A steal. YSL called my name and I brought a YSL leather handbag, YSL leather clutch and a YSL ring. I seriously could have gone ballistic at the Mall, but I didn't because my man was with me and I felt daggers in the back of my head every time I walked to the cash register. Lesson learnt - next time (and there will be a next time) I am coming on my own. Women please leave your men at home, but take his card with you. Now word of advice, if you are on the lookout for a designer bag in Italy, I recommend you come here first before buying in the actual designer stores. You just may bag (pun intended) yourself a bargain. If you are on the lookout for wallets and/or shoes, then this is seriously the place to come. Yes it may be last season, but hello like who cares? You can tell people it's retro. For me personally, coming from Australia, the price difference was incredible. We get taken advantage of in Australia. Sydney is so expensive. Seeing these prices for brands like Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, YSL, and Prada can bring a tear to a girl's eyes. People are saying they didn't find good deals, etc. Well look you aren't going to get this season's stock for a discounted price. Obvs. If you appreciate designer goods and you purchase designer goods, then this is seriously the place for you. If you are an individual who baulks at the thought of paying for a designer handbag or designer branded item, then this is not the place for you.

Yelp
Spectacular outlet shopping mall in the beautiful hills of Tuscany, has top of the line designer brands from Dior, Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, Botegga Veneta, Prada, Burberry, Pucci, Gucci, D&G just to name a few. It has designer goods at bargain prices. I've shopped here several times and found great deals maybe not at rock bottom prices but certainly at a reduced amount. The Mall is easy to get to with plenty of parking and chic café style restaurant to dine and relax while shopping.

Yelp
Bus loaded with shoppers from Asia. Perhaps customers style influenced Gucci sales people? I shop at many Gucci stores/ outlets all over the world and this particular location turned me off. I felt like I was in the high-end flea market. I rented the for this shopping event because I saw their shop listings on the website. It was very disappointing to learn that Chopard and Tag Heuer was not the outlet from the manufacturers. The shop is a private seller who carried the brands. The store has several different brands. This is very misleading.

Yelp
This was my first visit to The Mall. Apparently, all the rumors I heard were true bc more than half the time I wasn't sure if I was in Asia or Italy. MASSIVE amounts of Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc. Prada was, by far, the most popular store for me, as well as pretty much everyone else. Picture giant white Prada bags everywhere you go. Prada def wasn't as cheap as I had hoped (perhaps a timing issue regarding sales), but they definitely have the best selection of products/colors--way more than any other store. I had no idea about the Montcler store. Unfortunately, almost everything seemed like MFO (made for outlet) products. Next. The Gucci store was nice, but nothing really caught my eye. On the other hand, the Gucci caffe was pretty awesome. Ended up going for brunch. We got a sandwich, iced caffe, reg caffe, and last but not least, the delectable pistachio mousse (thx to a tip from a fellow yelper!) Ok, so not exactly a brunch, but rather a mess of delicious snacks. The food at all of the stations looked really good, but I didn't bother w stuff I can easily get in the US. Outdoor rooftop seating was nice, thanks to the perfect weather. Parking was a breeze. The only thing that sucked was the check out line at Prada (they really need to implement an ORDERLY system) and the VAT refund (waited about 30m, thanks to all the Asians....) If you ever decide to visit, I would suggest an off-peak season, such as the fall. It seems manageable during early opening hours, but there's no doubt it gets super crazy in the summer. Shop 'til you drop!!!
google avatar

pete h.

Yelp
Prada, gucci outlet. Yes.. Be forewarned, lots of Chinese and Koreans here and the line at the Prada store can easily be 1 plus hour to pay. The toilets are in the cafe.
google avatar

Yelp
The locals will tell you not to go to these outlets because in their opinion they don't have a good selection. Disregard their warnings and go! The Mall is a well designed center in the middle of beautiful Tuscany! They have every brand you could want and the customer service is great. All shops have English speaking employees and you could really spend all day here if your travel companions don't mind it! Luckily I was with my big sis from college and we were both jazzed for our afternoon shopping excursion out of the heat! We found great items in every store including Ferragamo, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Cruciani (in the next turn off at "The Groove") I highly recommend making time for this outing - it is nicer than any outlet center we have in the US (including the premium ones in Palm Springs, Woodbury Commons NY, Vegas, and outside of Ft. Lauderdale!)

Yelp
While taking a quick day trip from the villa my best friend rented for her wedding, our group of 13 took the 30 minute drive to do a little outlet shopping. This mall is located in the hills of Tuscany and a short drive from Florence. Since I was here on vacation and only had a few hours to do my shopping, I was determined to find something to buy. The Prada and Dior are located in their own MASSIVE 2-story buildings. Food court: For my newbies, here's the 411. Theres a line near the entrance with the person behind the register. You order from them and pay there. Then you take your receipt to the corresponding counters (coffee counter if you ordered coffee etc.) and show them your receipt. They will make your item while you stand there (no worries, they're very fast). They will rip a side of the receipt indicating you have received your item. If you need something else, go back to the cashier line. -The pizzas were (3/5) Waaaaaay better than Sabbaro but not the best you've ever had. -Caffe (5/5) I could have lived off of these forever. -Charcuterie plate (4/5) Really good, fresh. Make sure to ask for bread. -Sandwiches (4/5) The ciabatta that they used was so fluffy. And they were huge! *For my Americans out there, "caffe" is an espresso. Prada: You get a ticket number when you walk in that you will show the associates when you decide to purchase something. They will then write it down on the item you choose and it will be waiting for you at the check-out counter. No need to carry it around while you continue shopping!! There's also a small corner of Miu Miu, since its part of Prada. I got really lucky and bought a pair of Prada brown suede boots (size 7) for €145 or around $182. A total steal for Prada. Dior: We had to wait outside in groups for enough people to leave before we were let in. Think Vegas club lines but for shopping. The upstairs is mainly empty, only cashiers and jewelry, I believe. Valentino and Ferragamo had some great clearance deals when I was there too. €155 purses and €99 shoes. As others have noted, this is an ultra high end outlet. The quality is top notch and most items are there because they are from previous seasons and not outlet items. (Coach, Polo, and some other brands have dedicated outlet items that are of lower quality than their actual line). Be prepared for sticker shock because yes, there are still items that are $15,000 after being marked down. If you have always wanted a designer item but the prices were a bit too high, this is a great place to start/continue your collection at a lower price. If the VAT line is short, then go ahead and get your refund there. If not, there's always the airport so don't waste precious time waiting in line when you can be shopping!! Also, the minimum for VAT is €155 per transaction and don't forget your passport!! Be aware: during peak tourist season, this place can get PACKED!

Yelp
What can I say but WOW, for all those who love shopping, style and brand names this is heaven!! If your in Florence and you want to do some serious shopping then go to the main train station, Santa Maria Novella and there is a Bus that takes you to The Mall directly. Italy having one of the most important fashion markets in the world has to have some good outlets, and let me tell you this is one of the best. The secret of this outlet is that almost every brand has things that are 50% off, and don't worry the styles are new, so you are not going to come out looking like a version of Madonna from the 80's in "Like a virgin", or like Gwen Stefani in one of her best 90's outfits. Maybe you won't find this seasons collection, but sometimes if your lucky they will bring in some styles of the new collection. This is a quick list of the brands and more are coming: ALEXANDER MCQUEEN,ARMANI JEANS ,BALENCIAGA, BOTTEGA VENETA, BURBERRY, DIOR, EMILIO PUCCI, ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA, FENDI, GIORGIO ARMANI, GUCCI, HOGAN, LORO PIANA, MARNI, ROBERTO CAVALLI, SALVATORE FERRAGAMO, SERGIO ROSSI, STELLA MCCARTNEY, TOD'S, VALENTINO, YVES SAINT LAURENT. Just as an example the other day I bought a pair of Hogan Shoes for 85 euro (last pair), but all the winter collection was 50% off, it was really satisfying!!! Every brand has it's own store, my favorite is Gucci, the purses are almost always half price and amazing. The architecture is very nicely designed, modern and clean cut, situated in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan country side, it takes about an hour by bus from the center of Florence, and I would consider taking a day to really look around. If you don't want the latest design but you love quality and style then stay away from via Tornabuoni and hop on the shopping bus. Have fun and Shop till you drop

Yelp
Great area to spend money. Many shops you can enjoy. But, pls make sure that you can money back with Euro. Exchange rate is too bad.

Yelp
It's not a cheap outlet but it is a outlet. Keep in mind you won't find any cheap brands other than Nike. Most designers are the expensive ones. Scored some prada boots for under 200$ US! Come with lots of time & $!

Yelp
Love the shopping here, everyone can speak English (due to tourist attraction) the Prada store is pretty big! Not the biggies fan with their food court, but we are not there to eat now are we? Haha

Yelp
I could have bought a lot more if there was one list zero on the price tags. Diesel had the best deals and I found a good deal on some Prada sunglasses. I friend bought a Gucci purse for half the original price....she loooooved it!

Yelp
Went to the mall today, regret not buying as much. Tons of selections at cheap price. It's a must see site and plan to go back.

Yelp
A 5 euro bus ride from Florence, this is a huge complex in the pretty hills outside of town. Worth the trek if you're a label or fashion hound or want a nice designer bag. I scored a Stella Mc Cartney bag and a Gucci bag - both with significant savings. The Gucci and Prada stores are both gigantic, 2 story monsters. Gucci has a nice, if pricey, cafe and outdoor patio on their top floor. Tip: get your VAT refund here if there's not a long line.

Yelp
The best outlet is by far the Prada outlet. You can definitely get a great bargain. Bags were approximately $350-$650USD that is much cheaper than at the boutique stores in the US. They have beautiful handbags and lots of clothing. You will fall in love!

Yelp
Prices are good compared to branded goods main st locations, but dont expect any thing like decent service here, especially Prada, Gucci,Tods...They seem to have a total dont care attitude, based on the hoards of Chinese shoppers, perhaps they dont need to care, it did seem the cash registers were going Ca Ching quite often

Yelp
Prada! Gucci! Fashion Heaven! Definitely a must-visit for any fashionista or bargain-hunter. You can book tours from Florence, where you are bussed to and from The Mall from central Florence. Otherwise it is a quick drive either from Tuscany or Florence. There are deals galore at Burberry, Lanvin, Ferragamo, Dior and more! There are some crowds and lines at Gucci and Prada, but both are massive stores and worth the wait.

Yelp
This is a great address for designer outlet shopping, just south of Florence. You will need a car to get there, but it is worth it! Lovely factory outlets from Armani, Gucci, Fendi, Zegna, Celine, Sergio Rossi...The place is quite small, but deceptive - I always seem to run out of time. Prices are good, sometimes very good if you hit a particular sale.

Yelp
If you have bottomless pockets or bank accounts then stop in here. Full of mostly high end stores but prices didn't really reflect outlet stores. Good quality and lots of labels but only cater to a very select market.
