Being prior military we have traveled the world and have eaten in many pubs. When walking in it brought us back to the small village vibe with great service. They were on it and the vibe was awesome! The power went out a couple of times and they just kept serving and were great! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will be coming again!

Came in and sat at the bar. Went to order Shepard's pie, but per recommendation from the awesome dude behind the bar, I ended up going with the beef stroganoff and I'm glad I did. Absolutely delicious! Cool little spot, super chill, not too serious. Check it out 🤘

At the GICC for a conference and looking for some decent food near the hotel. Stumbled upon this locale because of the name…totally evoked jolly ole England. What a gem!! Great atmosphere. Met the owner. Cierra was a fabulous waitress the food was right out of mom’s kitchen.

The Pork Chop Alone Is Worth the Trip! From the moment I walked into Manchester Arms in East Point, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and upscale — warm lighting, friendly faces, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to sit back and stay awhile. But let’s talk about the star of the show: the pork chop. Hands down, one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection. The crust had just the right sear, locking in all that rich, smoky flavor, while the inside stayed tender and flavorful with every bite. You can tell whoever’s in that kitchen takes real pride in their craft. Pair it with one of their jalapeno corn and brussel sprouts and you’ve got a meal that rivals anything you’d find anywhere. If you’re anywhere near Virginia ave do yourself a favor and stop by Manchester Arms. Whether it’s for a casual dinner or a night out with friends, this place never disappoints. And seriously — don’t leave without trying the pork chop.

Quaint British pub with excellent food and service. On my initial visit, I enjoyed a deliciously well-prepared "Famous Manchester Arms Smoked Pork Chop" with sides of Crispy Bussel Sprouts and Honey Roasted Beets. Service was excellent and the beer selection was good.

Pretty good food and service. My husband got the fish and chips and it all came out piping hot. I got beef tenderloins served on mashed potatoes and it was lukewarm. My Brussels sprouts were yummy and everything was fine other than my dish barley being warm .

I found a hidden gem. The place looks like a house. It's my 1st time, and I will be back. Parking: You have to park across the street. Service: I forgot the lady name but she was friendly and helpful. She explains the menu and the food to order. Drinks: The jalapeños margarita was on point. Food: When you are at an Irish pub, you have to order the fish and chips. Two pieces of fish and fries were hot and delicious. It was season properly. The calamari and peppers were excellent. I ordered a pork chop to go. It is thick. Dessert: The bread pudding was not too sweet, which I like. Atmosphere: It has a cozy and friendly vibe.

This is one of the best restaurants in Georgia. The food is legitimately good. And this is coming from someone who believes 99% of the restaurants in and around Atlanta are subpar. Portions could be a touch bigger but it’s fine since the taste is top notch. My family is English and I’m not ashamed to admit a lot of the dishes made here are done better than most pubs back home!

Well y'all here is another small spot just off a main road type situation. It's not far from the airport so that makes it accessible pretty reasonably if you're between flights for some oddly strange long time. One thing I'm always going to latch onto is the service. From the time I walked in to meet the rest of my party who had already gotten a table because I came from home 30 minutes away the staff greeted me. Even the guys outside walking to their car on a break spoke to me and made sure I knew where I was going. So I got situated with my group, three of us, and they started explaining the recommendations from the gentleman taking care of our table. We were all really hungry and skipped past any appetizers or small sharing bites so straight to ordering the meal. I opted for this brined pork chop special they had for the day or week or something like that and I must say it was righteous. It was so juicy and done perfectly and was not salty. I find that to be a hard task at some establishments - the balance of flavorful versus salty. Nonetheless I love French fries and got that along with some brussel sprouts to make mom proud I ordered some good vegetables. The sprouts were really good as well. Roasted, oiled, and seasoned. There was a nice not char but roast essence it had. I appreciated it very much. I honestly am ready to go back to try some other things from the menu. One person in my party was vegan and had an allergy to something, I think gluten, and the gentleman was so very patient and accommodating to help build her a meal. I'm not one to skimp on a good meat plate but I loved seeing how he assisted in such a way he knew about the dishes and what items are made in a way that meat products or gluten couldn't be avoided and successfully got her together with more than just a blank salad. I have no clue what the outcome was but she is my sister in law's buddy and said bring her back again. So I think we did really good. The atmosphere is like that of an old house turned restaurant but it's pretty size able yet cozy. I think I'd like to offer this as a suggestion for my next work lunch meeting as I work in the area. There are some great postings around the place on the history of the restaurant which lead to quite an interesting story. I'll let you find out when you visit. Bon a petit!

When first landing in Atlanta it doesn't take long to think about food. Staying at the Airport Marriott however leaves you with limited options. After searching through reviews I came across this English Pub. While not my first choice in visiting the south and all of its delicacies, the reviews and pictures convinced me to give it a shot and glad I did! Nestled on the corner of what looks like a former home, the Manchester Arms looks like it's straight from Fleet Street in London. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable about their menu and encouraged us to try the calamari which was some of the best I've ever ver had when paired with their awesome tangy dipping sauce. For our main courses we hit fish tacos? Which came in three and were very good size, and a lightly breaded flounder fillet paired with glazed brussel sprouts and fries. TIP: I would have gotten double brussel sprouts they were so good!!! At the End of the Day I don't come to the south for English food but when you're hungry and in College Station I will vouch that you won't find much better!

It pains me to post this review. I live on the Southside / Tri-Cities, where higher expectations in dining choices compared to many Atlanta neighborhoods is sparse, so a place like The Manchester Arms who has gotten some publicity on the likes of 'Good Eats ATL' created the hope that it may be a Southside dining destination that is greater than Hapeville's Dwarf House or East Point's Taco Pete was welcome. But it's not. I have a rule of thumb before eating at Chinese fine dining. It's try the shrimp fried rice first. If they can't do that, no reason to spend top dollar at their house specials. The same held true for The Manchester Arms. I was enticed by their specials - a filet, a ribeye, a flounder - all at market price. Fish and chips (to match the English pub theme). $16 pub burger. All the things and prices you expect at a decent gastro pub. gastro pub? foodie pub? pub that has good, quality food. Maybe these things are good, so it's not fair for me to even mention them, but I have been so jaded by less than good (lets call it shitty standard) foods on the Southside, that I opted to use the fried rice litmus test for pubs. Try the wings. I ordered the smoked wings that you can get tossed in your choice of sauces, or plain and sauce on the side for dipping. Got mine tossed in my choice, hot sauce. My dinner guest had the wings plain with hot sauce on the side. The wings came and while they may have been initially smoked, had been flash fried. They were so dry that they had no moisture whatsoever. The hot sauce was pasted on them as if a already cooked wing had been covered in hot sauce and then place in an air frier, painting the sauce on the over-dried crust of what was once a chicken wing. Thinking this may an exaggerated result of the sauce, I tried the plain cooked wing of my dinner guest, only to realize that the issues was multilayered - that the wings themselves were dry and unappealing. So, contemplate this - we're on the southside of Atlanta, where wing places are, colloquially, a dime a dozen. But, I'm paying 75% more money for a wing that I could have gotten at a place called Lit Wings, or Deez Wangs for a product that I feel confident 75% of people would feel is 75% less appealing. It's SO frustrating. I want this place to be better.

Business trip to ATL and had stopped into Manchester Arms, 19Mar2024. Had a ribeye (Medium) and some mashed potatoes and salad. Everything was pretty good, the service was quick and the only thing I can really say about this that is on the gripe side is that the seating and inside was really dated. The outside just looks like a two story home, and that's what it is in the inside as well! What do you know! This place is known for its chops and steaks and they do well. I enjoy coming back here and there. Its the best place to grab a steak in the area.

We decided to stop here for an early dinner on a weekday. We sat outside on the patio and ordered fish tacos which were delicious, bangers and mash which my husband enjoyed and the beets (he did not like them). Great cozy restaurant with good food. What's not to like!

I was looking for a place nearby-ish that would feel like the British pub culture I love so much. This fit the bill. Our server was hilarious, making jokes and cutting up with us all night. A group of my fellow England travelers and I loved the vibe and had a pleasant outdoor dining experience (but inside is so cute too!). We didn't go all that traditional with what we ordered but have zero regrets over that famous pork chop and yummy beet salad. I'd drive two hours (again!) to enjoy one of the best pubs in the Atlanta area!

Ample parking next door. Love the building and the architecture. Food is great and there is a nice variety of options. I had the meatloaf tonight and it was great. I have had the fish and chips before and they were also great. Service is usually on point.

Very friendly and great food. Literally ran across this place in my run from the Renaissance Concourse. It's about a mile away from the hotel. Easy walk. Will definitely be back.

Overall experience while at the Manchester Arms was outstanding. Loved the ambiance & the service was top notch. Blackened salmon was excellent and I do love me some fried okra. This place passed my ultimate test: I'd gladly go back for a meal anytime I am back in that part of the country.

The food was amazing!! Blackened salmon and creamed jalepeno corn along with yellow squash casserole! Incredible! Atmosphere was great! Older house with great porches where we dined. So pleasant!

Such a fun, cool, small house turned into a bar/restaurant. We love a good European place in the states and this is a fun hidden gem. If you're in the area be sure to stop by for a pint. The wings were awesome!

I give this place 4 stars for the good food and community vibe! They are an English style pub in the neighborhood of College Park with a neighborhood crowd. You can always find good conversation at the bar and the atmosphere is intimate if you prefer to sit down at a table. It isn't the cheapest bar around, but the food is good quality and the bar tender/waitstaff are really friendly! The chicken sandwich is really good here, and the burgers are Presley juicy! I've also heard that the meatloaf is a good hearty meal if you are looking for something heavier. They are on the finer side of what would be considered pub food. They have some good wine and good beers on tap. One thing of note--they are not open on Saturdays and Sundays so don't pop in on a weekend! This place is definitely worth a shot!

We stopped in to this place after wandering around the neighborhood to have a drink. We weren't hungry yet so we just grabbed a beer. The menu did look good though and anything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious too. The bar got a little packed, but then again it was Friday evening. Tons of outdoor seating and it looked like a bunch inside as well. The lady at the hostess stand I think may be one of the owners. She was super sweet. The bartender was really nice and apologized for her being a bit slow, which we didn't think she was at all. Overall good to place to stop for a pub beer.

Super cute pub with a lovely outdoor seating area. Unfortunately it was a Friday, so I didn't get a chance to try the meats. I got the fish and chips and a glass of the Smithwicks beer. I wish I had gotten to check out the inside, but we stayed outside the whole time. Great to people watch, in a quiet and lovely neighborhood, while sipping on some cold beer. Service was great as well, they checked on us often and were very sweet and accommodating. If I'm ever in the area again, would love to stop by with friends and spend the evening here just chatting away.

I've eaten here a dozen or more times when I'm in the Airport area and had great food and great service. Last night (Thursday, June 13) they must have had their B team waitstaff working in the dining room. I met two friends for dinner. One of which has dined with me here numerous times, and another that was there for his first outing. We ordered appetizers of calamari and salmon croquettes. What we got was calamari and smoked salmon dip. I was later told by a manager that the croquettes had been taken off the menu and replaced with the dip. This was not mentioned be the server at the time we ordered. The croquettes were off the paper menu but they are still on the website menu. This was not a huge deal, as the dip was very tasty. We ordered our entrees and enjoyed catching up with each other while we waited on our food. After close to an hour I asked the waitress if our food was coming out soon. She left, came back, and told us they could not find a record of our order and could we re-state the order to her. One of my friends opted not to reorder, and we decided to get the check and leave. After such a screw up, I would have expected to have our appetizers comped, or something. I paid the full bill, left the first "zero" tip I've left in longer than I can remember, and left. I really love the location, the ambiance, the food, and the service I've had until last night. I know every place has the occasional off night. But the way this was addressed really rubbed me the wrong way. I hope this is not indicative of the level of service at the Manchester Arms going forward.

I am in town for 2.5 weeks and enjoy trying local restaurants. The Manchester Arms is worth your time! Great environment, super friendly staff and amazing food. We watched the staff handle a patron who was unhappy with the service, and they were completely professional. It wasn't the fault of the restaurant in any way, yet they smiled and carried on. They were super busy and still had smiles and put out a great product. Well done!!

Good British food. I have tried both the Shepherd's pie as well as the fish and chips! The ambience is wonderful!

Heard many good things about Manchester Arms for years and finally made it there after being in Georgia for 14 years. Had one of the signature dishes Pork Chop with mash potatoes and fried okra. Finished off with some bread pudding. All dishes were delicious and large portions enough to split. Service was friendly and prompt. The place was originally a house built in the 40's converted to a restaurant. Outside dining available in front. Nice atmosphere If in the area will definitely go back!

I've passed by this pub literally for decades and finally decided to stop in today. What a treat! I will be back..Great service, friendly and welcoming vibe. The smoked wings and fries were great..

I really like this restaurant! The food is good! The staff are nice and efficient and the ambience of this place is very relaxing. I'm so glad to have found this restaurant, so that I can come back again on my next visit to Atlanta.

I have been remiss in being late with my reviews. The service is consistently amazing and the food raves. If you drive a pick-up, order the pork chop: You will need a pick-up truck to take home the size of the left-over. Mitch is the resident mixologist and will make sure you are taken care of. You will frequently see Will and Christy (owners) pitching in. Everyone takes ownership here and this is a worthy place to spend your dollars. Not opened on the weekends.

Tucked away in essentially a quaint neighborhood, this little spot is full of charm, great service, and decent food - worth the adventure. Between us, we ordered the bangers & mash and a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were decent, nothing amazing, not that I expect a grilled chicken sandwich, especially without a bun, to ever be outstanding. What stood out most was the friendly service and cleanliness of the establishment. It was pouring rain when we went so we couldn't partake of the cute patio, but that would definitely be an option. There's also a full bar to one side that was only 1/2 full at lunch, though likely more hopping at night. There are lots of options on the menu for all appetites and I would happily go back again to try more when in the area.

I can't even begin to tell you how cute this joint is. When we arrived at the spot, it looked totally like a neighborhood house and nothing more. I mean, there was string lights outside of it and a sign. But if you're not looking. You would probably miss it. Let's start shall we. Appetizers we started with were... Pretzels: Perfect drinking food, and the mustard seed sauce is my favorite for the bread stick. Salmon croquettes: I adore fish Appetizers, and I would only expect it at the British pub of course. Would definitely order these again if given the chance. Main Event... Pork Chop: Yes,, if you're reading this, I'm sure you've already seen the pics on the yelp page. YES it's that good. Just get it and do it for the gram. I sure did. The setting is super dope. It does give me the feel of being teleported back to England. The proper pub feel is all there. Well the service was very good. Didn't like my fish in chips. But hey. Just wasn't my style, it wasn't bad. But the lady cleaning the floors behind us at the bar. Was unacceptable. Yum! This was a last minute decision on our way to the hotel and oh my I'm glad we found this place! The fish and chips were the best I have ever had. The calamari was delish! Bangers mash was a hit too! The service was amazing! Friendly and fast!

Food was excellent, the Southern Shepard's Pie really hit the spot. The staff was super friendly, professional, and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect, nice and chill, super cozy. Shout out to Lolo and the donut bread pudding! The value is excellent: as good as everything is, I'm surprised they don't charge double. Heartwarming to see them take care of the community where a lot of others just give it lip service. Atlanta shuttle be proud to have this establishment.

When visiting Atlanta, making a stop at the Manchester Arms is a must. When I do visit, I order the pork chop and I'm never disappointed. Tender, juicy, and with the perfect amount of smoke. Their on-tap beer selections are great, especially if English and European styles are your fancy. The salmon croquettes are delicious. The wait staff and service is fantastic. We sat outside on the front patio. I've never had dinner inside, but if it's anything like the standards set for outside dining, I'm certain it's beautiful.

Wonderful spot! Had dinner here on a Thursday night. The staff is very friendly and the food and beer were proper pub fare!! We had the pretzel with beer cheese and mustard (both delish!) bangers and mash and the southern shepherds pie and don't miss the bread pudding! Look forward to coming back!

I love the vibe of this place. It's so unassuming from the outside. A house on the corner. Inside def feels like a British pub. Very cozy. I found this place a few biz trips ago and keep coming back. This time, I sat on the patio for the first time. Even the way the patio is laid out feels cozy, tucked around the corner of the house. The hostess is great. I remember her from previous visits. The food is always great, and you can choose British fare or not. This time I had meatloaf for the first time. It was great. Very tasty and would recommend it if you are into meatloaf. Always a few British beers to enjoy as well.

Update, I went again and it was very average food. I ordered a burger ($16) and it was way overcooked. A friend got the meatloaf and it was also overcooked. The inside dining room was basically empty with 1/2 of the tables outside were taken. Don't know if I'll be back.

Absolute perfection. Best meal I have had in the state of Georgia. Service was amazing. Pork chop and squash casserole was perfect. Can't say enough great things about my experience. Thanks for an amazing meal after a really long day!

This place is deceiving. It looks like a house, but inside is a nice little British restaurant. Our party dined on a few classic delicacy's. Bangers and mash, and Sheppard's pie. Both were delicious. Some great apps. Smoked chicken wings were also very good.

One year later..... The same pleasant hostess seated us, She does an amazing job! We were seated right away. Not a full house, everyone seemed to be working hard. I ordered the smoked wings, and I asked that they not deep fry them, I knew this from the last two times I had been there that they now fry their wings!! Which I find unacceptable. Why in the hell would you do that to smoked wings!!!! The manager came to our table to check and make sure about the no fry request. He came back and said they wouldn't do that because it's not a full smoked wing. I said bring them out anyway, a mistake on my part. If you look at the pictures..... their wings no longer look like that, they are deep fried . I showed the manager the difference, he said they no longer fully smoke the wings. After the wings we waited for over an hour for our food..... nothing, not even a do you need another drink, top off the water..... finely the manger came by to say that they had a printer error and our order got lost, Wow! How do you lose an order? I was told it was a printer issue I paid 28.00 for 10 wings and a beer and left. I will never go there again. I will tell anyone who asks me for a place to go to stay away. The new owner should print a new menu and we should remove all of our pictures from their page as they are no longer accurate.

Closed on the weekends? What restaurant/pub is closed on the bloody weekend? That is pretty lame.

Beer was cold, food was great, cool location and building and the service was even better. Fish and chips were awesome.
