13 Restaurants For When The Rain Makes You Sad - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If you whiz by on your bike, you would probably mistake The Maple for someone’s home. But inside this house, you’ll find a pub with antique photos, popcorn ceilings, and good food and cocktails. The dishes range from rigatoni with lamb ragu to fish and chips that come with a lemon-y crust." - aimee rizzo

Where To Eat Outside In Seattle When It’s Cold & Rainy

"For delicious dishes ranging from pasta with lamb ragu to gremolata-topped fish and chips, we love the food from this bar in Maple Leaf that’s literally located in a house. Their secret beer garden backyard is a wonderful place to grab a bite, especially since there’s a tent, string lights, and a heat source." - aimee rizzo

The Secret Patios Of Seattle

"Don't mistake The Maple for just another house in Maple Leaf. Similarly, don't mistake their beer garden for any old backyard. But instead of rogue watering cans and a wacky neighbor poking his head through the fence to tell anecdotes nobody asked for, there's a nice setup of tables and string lights waiting for a group of friends to have beer and acceptable fish and chips." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

The Maple Review - Maple Leaf - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If you whiz by on your bike, you would probably mistake The Maple for someone’s home. But inside this house, you’ll find a pub with antique photos, popcorn ceilings, and food that'll come in handy for a good-enough last-minute dinner. While their fish and chips are just OK, we're fans of the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a comforting white wine-forward gravy. " - Aimee Rizzo

Seattle’s Coziest Bars - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This bar is on an otherwise residential street, and you might be sad that you’re not hanging out inside a residence. If you really want to visit one of the homes, don’t trespass—just grab a drink at The Maple. Located inside an old house on Roosevelt, you'll find stuff like a fireplace, a popcorn ceiling, and antique framed maps on the wall. Sit in a big wooden booth and grab a white russian, or some fish and chips." - Aimee Rizzo

Huge hot servings, cozy atmosphere with the fireplace, and awesome liqour & spirits selection. We had the Bolognese that was hearty and tasty along with the Fish & Chips which are fantastically ginormous, hot and juicy. So hot and juicy they almost fell out of the crispy batter! We're excited to come back in the future to more!

Google
What a FIND!! The atmosphere is amazing and the food is even better! The portion sizes were great, and all of the flavors were perfection. This place is going to become my new obsession. They have seasonal menus and limited menus so what they do, they do well. *no ac, can be hot inside in the summer (still worth it) *no "kids" menu, so don't expect chicken fingers, grilled cheeses or mac and cheese for the kiddos. All items are suited to adults and are adult-sized portions.

Nice spot in Northgate for lunch or dinner. It's a converted house with a lot of style and a dark wood look. The food is great, especially the meatloaf and fish & chips. The fish is lightly battered and very fresh. They have a nice bar with some very original drinks. Good service too, they are subtle but very attentive. They also have a good sized outdoor heated area in the back. Great spot!

Google
The only 3 downsides of this place are (1) parking can be difficult, (2) sometimes understaffed so service can be slow, and (3) pricey. Everything else is really A++. Cocktails are high quality, and the custom cocktails are thoughtful and complex. Standout food selections: smoked salmon dip, olives, fries, and the burger ($26) was big, juicy, with a good smoke flavor. I’m eager to explore the rest of the menu. Atmosphere is superb - warm and woody, music is enticing and not too loud. We love it, and will be back again and again.

Google
Ok this place is so cute!!! It’s inside an old house so it was quaint and cozy. Great idea to do I thought! The bloody Mary’s were spot on. I tend not to like them and every time we go to brunch I order one hoping I’ll like it. I did and ordered two! It was a win! You can add a mini beer for $2 so why not. I honestly thought my meal was too rich but if you like cambozola cheese then get this dish. I got the Croque Madame and I usually stick to what I know but I wanted to try something different. I still ate it all! My friend said the chicken and waffles were the best he ever had. Whoo-hoo! The brunch burger was great I had a bite and my husband enjoyed it very much. I’ll be getting that the next time around! The service was excellent and they were on it even though it was very busy. I highly recommend trying The Maple. I also have been here during the summer months and had their frozen cocktails on the deck. All great!

Google
Fantastic atmosphere. Lovely employees. Enjoyable food. A place to enjoy good company and relax.

Google
Very cool building, service was great, but food and drinks were average. My cocktail (some sort of pineapple margarita) tasted like diluted pineapple water. The Caesar salad had such good flavor and toppings, but was so salty and 5 small chicken strips was +$6. My bf’s steak was also very salty. We might come back if in the area but would definitely try something different.

THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN!!! I was visiting family and was told that The Maple served Sunday brunch. I when I arrived the server told me that they just got slammed with a lot of people coming at the same time, yet I saw several empty tables. She asked me if I wanted to sit at a table. I told that I preferred a table. She said a table would be a 45 minute wait, so I opted for the bar on the implication that it would be faster. I ordered and sat with my orange juice, while the server staff came by and dropped and clanked their coffee pictures right next to me. It was so bad that I moved a few stools away to avoid any potential incidents. As I heard waited, I heard the servers complain about the chef and manager. All the while I was still waiting on my food. None of them approached me to give me an ETA on the food. This continued for 30, 40, and 50 minutes; still no food. After an hour the server gives me two eggs, which I didn’t order. She told me that they must have given my order to someone else. Either she was flat out lying or they were incredibly incompetent— I think both. I finally got up and left. AGAIN, THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN!!!

Yelp
We came to the Maple for brunch at 10:45 AM on Sunday, and were put on the waiting list for a half hour. They were excellent at communication with us, and it was nice to be able to walk around the neighborhood before being seated. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the view of their lovely infusions they had on the wall while we were there. I could not stop looking at how beautiful those bottles looked. Their bar set up was a delight to sit in front of. I ordered an eggs Benedict with salmon for my brunch, and it was wonderful. They poached the eggs really well, and the salmon was satisfying. I loved the greens that were served on the side of the eggs benedict too-their food was fresh. In the summer, I want to come back for some of their frozen cocktails-they had some mulled white wine advertised today, but I love the big banana set up. They also have more seating for warmer weather. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Amazing brunch at The Maple. Their Croque Madame was fantastic. Had the eggs ever hard that went very well with the capicola and cheese. Sourdough bread was tosted to add structure to the dish. Served with a side a potatoes (fried) and arugula. Well balanced, flavorful and well portioned dish. Bravo!

Yelp
The Maple is a great neighborhood restaurant/bar that blends in with its neighbors because it's literally a house. They have a small dining area and also outdoor seating, but my favorite place is at the small bar where they offer local beers on tap, wines, and a full bar with some good cocktails (my fave is their black manhattan but they have some nice seasonal ones as well). The portions of the menu items vary greatly - their hummus plate is a solid starter and it's even larger now with burrata, although it's a bit pricey at $30. This could easily feed two. The chicken kofta is grilled and tasty and is a good smaller dish. The steak frites is also solid and a decent portion. Overall, I love having the Maple in easy walking distance and also being across from the park, it's a great stop after a walk or meeting friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Ridiculous prices for portion sizes. Got the chicken Kofta and it was two small popsicles of dry ground chicken with 3 tiny breads and some salad. $20? Ridiculous. The place is cute but can't recommend the food.

Yelp
Coziest neighborhood breakfast/brunch spot. One of those snug spots built into an old house with mismatched coffee cups and famous potatoes that makes you feel at home. -1 star only because aside from their potatoes, a lot of their food isn't well seasoned so always have to ask for salt and hot sauce to be safe, but their drinks are stellar and they have NA options too!! Note: I prefer 4 star spots in general bc 5 star spots are typically overrated, so this is a 5 star in that sense!!!! Their menu isn't overwhelming and has seasonal items. Always happy to come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything was just okay! The food, the drinks, and the service. The restaurant is small and cute! They are super busy during brunch, but I really like their communication via text. It allowed us to wander around the neighborhood while we wait for a table. Street parking only, fairly easy to find on a Sunday morning.
google avatar

Conor S.

Yelp
This place is cute! The inside of this house has been really well done and it's very cute. The service was friendly and quick. Tables move here but I imagine there could be a wait in a busy day. Don't worry, you can walk to the ace while you wait. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it served me well. Very delicious and enjoyable. Plus the coffee was good too. I really love a good cup of coffee.

Yelp
Service was great and that's really what I look for! I want to try something the street side window as it was closed for the season when we went
google avatar

Yelp
It seems to pop up out of nowhere but I think that adds to the "hidden gem" feel. The food is top notch and it has a cozy pub feel.

Yelp
We loving visiting The Maple. Their outdoor seating is great all year round. They have delicious cocktails and good drink options. Their rotating food menu is always fun to peruse, but I'll admit I almost always order the steak fries. It's amaaaaazing every time. They are family friendly and have a nice and relaxed atmosphere! Being outside, some things are serve yourself (you order via a QR code and get your own water), but the staff is very attentive and helpful!

Yelp
Great brunch spot. My mimosa was delicious and the food was also great, best chicken and waffles I've had. Perfect for a rainy day

Yelp
Cute neighborhood restaurant and bar in Maple Leaf. Came here on a Friday afternoon for a drink and snack. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere available. The bartender/waitress was friendly but seemed a bit busy and understaffed for the afternoon rush. The bartender apologized a few times it. The cocktail menu is limited but they have a full bar; we ordered an aperol spritz and French 75. Both were great. We also ordered the hummus platter which was yummy! It included veggies, a hummus that was curry or tamarind flavor, bread and burrata. I saw other items people ordered (fish and chips, steak, salad) and they looked/smelled delicious. I look forward to coming back here when I'm in the area and try other times on the menu.

Karen H.

Yelp
Open times are sketchy. There is a time limit on table use that made our catchup meeting a little stressful. Drinks and appetizers were good. Cute place.
google avatar

Manita U.

Yelp
Great food, drink, vibe. Mimosa is $9 and the egg Benedict was $13. If you want to get the table, do not go at 11:30!

Yelp
What happened with the crab spaghetti? This is a seasonal item and I've ordered multiple times previous years and it used to be awesome, someone changed the recipe and it's so bad now not worth the cost at all. I would never order it again! So sad because I use to crave this. The crab cake was also not great. Way over seasoned you totally took away the delicate flavor of the actual crab. Not sure if I hit this place on a bad night but probably one of the last times I'll go. The quality of food has gone downhill and doesn't justify the cost. The place has a very cute vibe and has so much potential. I hope they do some quality control and get things underway.

Yelp
I'm a local and love the food. Every dining experience is special and my family enjoys the pub atmosphere. I want to commend Kaitlyn (I hope I got your name correct) and Lauren. both went above and beyond with service to ensure moms steak was cooked right. The chicken and waffles are delicious as well as the chicken kofta and eggs benedicts. I've tried most of the menu and the chefs and cooks need to be given raises for their hard work. Please continue supporting this local gem and thank you for the amazing service.

Yelp
Excellent and attentive service, delicious food, great price, homey indoor feeling. Dined here for brunch yesterday for my best friend's birthday. We sat indoors next to the fireplace. We were seated right away. We ordered cocktails, the best one was a hot coffee cocktail. I had the steak breakfast burrito. It was delicious and a great portion. My friends each had an avocado toast and the croque Monsieur which was delicious but expectedly rich. I had originally ordered an interesting beet margarita and didn't love it. I didn't want to return it since I had already drank half but our server was kind enough to comp us for it. Had a great time and if I lived locally we'd be back. We didn't even realize until we left that there was outside seating.
google avatar

Yelp
Neighborhood gem! I stopped in for brunch and it was delicious! I got the breakfast burrito and it was full of steak, beans, and eggs. The service was prompt and polite. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
One of our favorite spots since moving into the neighborhood. Whether stopping for a frozen cocktail from the banana stand or going to dinner-the food and drinks never disappoint!

Yelp
Food was good, service was dismal. Went here for brunch. Seated outside in the picnic table area. Not bad,but this is a do it yourself operation, where you get your own silverware, napkins and water. Doesn't bother me. However, the staff act annoyed at having to take your order. I ordered the great chicken and waffles. Very good, but very dry. Not enough sausage gravy with the chicken. To get more was daunting. Had to go up the stairs to main kitchen to ask for more, as once you get your food you are ignored. Not a pleasant experience, staff was not happy to see me. Begrudgingly gave me a small container of sausage gravy. I felt bad for asking for gravy, but the chicken and waffles had a very scant amount of gravy, which led to the dish being incredibly dry without some form of syrup or gravy. Definitely a place where the staff wants to drop off the food and never interact with you again. Eat you food, pay your bill and leave quickly. Most of the time, this works for me. But it takes away from a pleasant meal, when you have to battle the staff over a small issue. Gin and Joe cocktail was delicious. Left me some good feelings about this place.

Yelp
We drove past this establishment 2 times trying to look for it; no real sign or indicator. No ramp in the front for strollers or wheelchair. Inside the 100 year old house is cute and quaint. We were meeting friends who had their dog with them so we sat on the patio. From that point we were pretty much on our own. You scar the QR code and order straight from your phone. No waiter to ask questions about dishes or anything. They only come to the table once you have ordered something, this includes drinks except for refills, you have to take your cup inside and ask for a refill. They also had self serve water station, condiments caddy, to go containers, and EXPOSED silverware OUTSIDE. So other than brining our drink and food to the table, we pretty much helped ourselves. We started with truffle fries. The fries were hit and had a great crispy texture on the outside but lacked the truffle I was personally expecting. Then ordered the steak cooked MR. Steak came out medium, wasn't able to get it fixed because again, lack of service on the patio. It also had a butter topping that was pretty bland. My fiancé ordered the burger with the bacon jelly; it was delicious and cooked to right temperature.

Yelp
Calling it! The best fish and chips in seattle! So so good! Huge portions! Great service such a cozy little Spot. So good!

Yelp
Walked in, really warm and cozy. Instantly greeted, saw a fire place, sat opposite of it. Enjoyed the room, next to the bar, staff were very friendly, and art work on the walls were nice. Ordered two cocktails, black diamond (strong, put some hair on the chest, a slow sipper but good) and aqueduct racetrack - solid cocktail (wasn't my favorite but my partner enjoyed it so good). Ordered smoked clam dip, delicious. Thick sauce with clams in it. Maybe would have preferred a small fork instead of spoon to scoop out bits/clams. Sauce was thick enough I believe could have still scooped it up with and getting enough sauce with clams as well. Felt like a solo app that could be shared a little. Sauce on crackers were delicious. Fish and chips were phenomenal. Will say, had a little regrets after seeing previous fish and chips posted on yelp (not that that would have been bad but just the way menu described it made seem more epic). Was thoroughly surprised and pleased with what was present to me. Cod was cooked perfectly and the batter was delicious. The tartar sauce was a highlight. Could have had the fish without the sauce, signs of a perfectly fried fish, but the sauce enhanced it. Fries were delicious as well. A real gem of a spot, saw outdoor seating that looked fun in warmer weather. Would recommend coming.

Yelp
3.5 stars for a pleasant neighborhood establishment. I would stop here for beers again if in the neighborhood. We 2 had beers and an appetizer. SERVICE: 4.0. No issues. AMBIANCE: 3.5. Dark-wood interior with rich pubby petina. We sat on a table on the outside deck, which was pleasant and looked out over the lawn; more tables were on the lawn. FOOD: We only had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts appetizer: 3.5. One was plenty to share between us with beers. Though it was good, I prefer my sprouts done more simply -- but that is personal taste. Photo uploaded.

Yelp
A brunch date with friends. Physical ambience- 4 out of 5. cute house turned into a restaurant and there is a walk up window for to go cocktails. Love that! The Bloody Mary- 3 out of 5 Grilled Steak Burrito - 4 out of 5. Good portion and fresh ingredients just not the best steak burrito I've ever had. Chicken and waffles - I didn't order this. My friend did and the overall consensus was that the sausage gravy didn't go well smothering the waffle. Perhaps put the gravy on the side so people can dip the chicken in it without mixing with the waffle? I tried a bite of the chicken and thought it was good. 3 out of 5.

Yelp
This place is so charming! It's a restaurant in an old home, seating is limited. We always visit when we have guests in town. The food is fresh and delicious!! The menu changes depending on the season. They offer frozen drinks during summer and hot drinks during winter. The service is friendly and fast! It's definitely a hidden gem!

Yelp
Unique dishes in a cozy but classy interior. Food: -Burrata and Hummus ($19) - AMAZING, lots of variety for the crudités, the hummus was so creamy and uniquely flavored and the burrata was fresh and amazing on top of the baguette slices -Brussel Sprouts ($13) - crispy and delicious -Red Chard Ravioli ($19) - This was interesting, presentation was beautiful (it really was two giant triangle shaped raviolis), but the most prevalent flavor was the preserved lemon -The Maple Burger ($19) - wasn't super impressed by the burger, not as juicy as I expected it to be We also ordered a variety of drinks including the cider on tap and mulled wine.

Yelp
I've been going to The Maple for years-- including the old location down the street when it was "The Maple Leaf Grill". I returned tonight to sit on their fabulous deck. The burger is still as good as I remember-- it comes with bacon jam (!) on a Macrina bun. Normally I don't like to bother with fries that aren't hand-cut/made on site (fry snob, I know...) but am I glad I made an exception! Bonus points: the tented deck is a fabulous place to be during a rain storm such as tonight!

Yelp
What a cozy place! The menu is fresh, thoughtful and delicious, the staff are genuinely kind and attentive and the cocktail list is inventive and tasty, without being trendy. Highly recommend.

Yelp
It's a Seattle neighborhood bar. One of the highest compliments to give. It has a great atmosphere, I went with a friend for drinks and appetizers. Great and rotating local beer selection, cocktails, and a good selection of snacks and mains. We had the Brussel sprouts which are great for sharing and really well done. Friendly waitstaff and I am planning on becoming a regular.
google avatar

Yelp
Originally tried to come here for brunch but my friend and I are horrible at choosing a place to eat. It took us an hour to make a decision and this was nearby. She's visiting from Turkey and wanted French toast. I didn't mind missing brunch as I'm not big on breakfast food. The staff was great. I really like them, very friendly and personable. We ordered crispy Brussels sprouts and green curry mussels while waiting for dinner service to start. When it did we shared a dungeness crab roll. Everything was delicious, we did find some of the truffle fries a bit too salty but it wasn't too bad. The roll came with some pickled veggies and that really added a nice acidity to the meal. I really enjoyed everything we ordered. The mussels had great flavor so did the brussel sprout. The roll though was packed with so much crab and it was so yummy.
google avatar

Xinyi Z.

Yelp
Loved the chicken and waffle! Probably the best chicken and waffle I've ever had. The crispiness of the chicken + flavor of gravy + syrup - it was the first time I felt those parts came together super well. Portion wise it was just right. Very cute interior in a house like restaurant.

Yelp
Breakfast: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Experience: 5/10 I'll start by saying the food was really good. I had the croque madame, and it was fantastic. Everything I wanted and more - great bread, tasty ham, egg cooked to perfection, everything in balance. Came with a nice small fresh greens salad on the side. The potatoes were good, but nothing to write mom about. Overall, a really good meal. The bloody mary was decent, but nothing exceptional...they call it "award winning", but I have my doubts. The back patio was a great spot to sit and have brunch. There's also a water station out there which is pretty handy. Where we weren't too stoked on this place was mostly with the online ordering experience and the service that came with it. There were three of us, and although we ordered our meals within a couple minutes of one another, our food came out of the kitchen staggered over 20 minutes apart. After things were delivered, servers were hard to come by to request coffee refills, hot sauce, etc. I also ordered bacon under the "breakfast sides" menu, but instead of on the side my bacon came inside the croque madame. Not the end of the world, but not exactly what I wanted either. Bottom line - the food was really good, but the systems for ordering and serving definitely need some work.

Yelp
Inside area is small, can get very hot in the summer. Patio outside is nice. I enjoy the steak frites, and the house manhattan is my favorite drink here.
google avatar

Le T.

Yelp
They might be better with lunch, Though, dinner today was dissappointing. 20mins wait and there were lots of empty table inside. You scan QR code and order and pay on phone. You bust your own table and get your own water. The waitress bring food to you. Cute outdoor setup, inside look normal. I love the garden backyard vibe All 4 of us ordered: Burger and fries, Fish and chips, Salmon tacos and Burrata and Hummus. -The salmon and pineapple tacos were interesting, wouldnt say its excellent so 3/5 -Burger and fries and fish and chips are 3/5. Fries are fries, burger can be better, its normal. Cod fried fish was not fresh. -Burrata and Hummus was bad. I have never had this quality. Hummus is a curry hummus. Both cant be spreaded well on the bread. All veggies are just sliced veggies nothing specially done. So 1/5. I appreciate the creativity and food invention though they were not good.
google avatar

Kap G.

Yelp
Great food. Staff & manager ate friendly, professional, and super helpful. Their cocktails are amazing. Summer/warm days the outdoor beer garden is open for furry loved one (aka dogs). It's a cute & coz bar. The online ordering from outside patio was little difficult due lack of ability to customize the food according to allergies. Other than great quality experience. Definitely highly recommend from my side.

Yelp
Food is great but they wouldn't let our 8 person party in even when we offered to sit in separate groups. It was a special going away gathering with thus restaurant specifically requested. Really a shame.

Josh D.

Yelp
Honestly, pretty bad / unpleasant on all fronts. None of us finished our food. Not sure what's happened to this once solid neighborhood spot...
google avatar

Yelp
Seems like a friendly establishment. They have an outdoor heated area/beer garden. Arrived here around 11am without a reservation. We were told 30 mins but ended up waiting an hour+. I think it's better to underpromise and over-deliver instead because we would have gone elsewhere. I understand that restaurants don't always have a say when their guests finish their brunch, so I did try to overlook this. I really wanted to love the food but 1) The French toast was stale. I've never had stale French toast before but the bread was truly dry. The flavors were all there it was just the quality of the bread 2) The egg Benedict and Chicken and waffles were cold. When hollandaise/egg gets cold, it's really unappetizing 3) Not sure about the soggy texture of the gravy on the waffles. I personally think chicken and waffles should be crunchy, and gravy can be on the side 4) The Bloody Mary's were bitter I was told by the hostess that they would turn on the outdoor heater for us before we sat down. Halfway through our meal, I asked our server and they said yes. But nope, no one came by to turn on the heater and I was basically sitting in the cold eating my cold food.

Yelp
Steak burrito is more like a steak wrap - light on beans heavy on steak and eggs (this is a good thing.) Staff is VERY friendly.

Yelp
Delicious food and great service. Nice atmosphere. Not too crowded. Would come back again.

Yelp
The food and prices here are spectacular. I love to come here for weekend brunch the chicken and waffles and croque Madam sandwich are top tier brunch food in the city. Quaint atmosphere and incredible service top off the experience.

Yelp
We were looking for a place with outdoor seating, that was convenient for the 3 of us meeting and found this place. They have outdoor seating with heaters, the tables with lot of space between them, contactless ordering and payment( they have an app or a QRcode to start the ordering process). I got the Aperol Sprtiz and Crab Spaghetti. I enjoyed my drink and loved the crab spaghetti, lots of crab in an amazing sauce. The portion was the right size for me. Now that I have discovered this place, I'll be back.

Yelp
Always beyond excellent food, a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The staff are attentive and prompt, and the inside is super cozy and warm, while the outside beer garden is delightful in its own way.

Yelp
An outstanding local establishment in what appears to be a very large, older house in the neighborhood. I've never had a bad meal or drink here and the service is always outstanding. They also know my friend (who lives in the neighborhood) on a first name basis, which only adds to the wonderful vibe here. Appetizers, entrees and desserts - nothing more I can add that hasn't already been written in the other reviews. I must have gone through at least half the menu by now and everything is served with the same care and attention to detail.

Yelp
We were excited to try this place out, but unfortunately the food just wasn't that good. My companion got a dish that was so spicy (and no mention of spice-level on the menu) they couldn't even finish it. It was all very expensive too. Staff was nice but overall we were disappointed.

Yelp
This restaurant was really cute! From the outside it looks like it could be someone's home, yet the inside has been transformed into a restaurant with a bar area as well as indoor and outdoor seating options. We ordered the Maple Burger and Fish and Chips, both with truffle fries. The combination of the brioche bun, blue cheese, and bacon jam on the burger made for a fantastic combo of flavors. My only critique was that I asked for my burger to be cooked medium, yet it came out well-done. The fish and chips were crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside- probably some of the best fish and chips I've had in the Seattle area which was very unexpected for such a small and tucked away restaurant! Truffle fries were so good too, great flavor and crunch factor. Overall an enjoyable dining experience, would recommend!
