The Marble Table

The atmosphere of this restaurant is up scale, but homey all at the same time due to the wonderful staff who are so inviting. They have a wonderful menu and everything is made with care and percision, so the look and taste of the meal is amazing. They also have a wonderful selection of wines and beers. Denise was my server and she was wonderful and the manager, who seated me was delightful and even came to see how my meal was. All and all a wonderful place to sit, relax and have a beautifully tasty meal.

This was a fantastic dining experience. The owner explained the uniqueness of the dishes and things that we should try. When I wasn't sure which beer I wanted, they brought out a sampler so I can figure it out. The food was delicious, with flavor profiles that you don't typically find in this part of the world. From beginning to end, the night was great, highly recommend!

Came in from out of town, wanted to try something different. Not gonna lie was a little taken back at first by the menu. However, OMG the Best Mac n cheese on the planet! Portions were insane! Service was amazing. All around a great experience.

We ordered delivery and it was garbage. So disappointed. I wish I would have taken a pic of the terrible Caesar Salad, wilted and small. My daughter wouldn’t eat it. If you are going to charge me $20 for a burger it needs to look better than McDonals. Pork schnitzel was decent but over priced. Too bad, such a high rating.

Wonderful, flavorful, delicious meal! I had the steak risotto and my wife had the Moroccan lentils. We shared the lemon cheesecake for dessert. Everything was great! The service was warm and helpful. I wish I could have tried more, but we were too full!

We went for my husband's birthday & it was an amazing experience. It felt fancy but laid back at the same time. The staff was really nice and down to earth, all of them were very personable. The food was delicious, and the menu had a great variety.

Update: We've been here several more times, and they've never missed a beat. By far, some of the best in Billings. We hadn't made it to Marble Table yet, so we decided to give it a try. I have to say this place is pretty amazing. It is an Owner operated restaurant, and they take this very personally, making sure you are the top priority. The wait staff were awesome and very professional as well. One thing you might experience if you go will be the inability to choose what to order. The menu has many enticing choices. We thought we had it all figured out, but then we found out about the specials. We will be returning soon so we can try everything else.

This was the best place we ate at in Billings and a great find. Food is very fresh and you can taste the quality. I definitely wanted to come back again on our way back through Billings, but we were short on time. Loved the setup of the restaurant too withe the little doors to separate each table. Service was friendly, and the manager greeted our table which was a nice touch.

Such a great place to dine. Morgan our server was charming, knowledgeable about menu selections and very attentive. The quaint dining area reminds me of some Southern Boarding houses I have visited. The food was Amazing. From the Ahi Tuna Bruschetta to the entrees everything was perfect. The salad was too big to finish! But it was dang good. The flavor and crispiness of the Fried Chicken was too notch.

I've visited the Marble Table in Billings several times. First time I had the Beef Stroganoff Pan-seared beef tenderloin with a mushroom cream sauce over Yellowstone Pasta Co Campanelle pasta topped with sour cream and chives $36.00 Second time I had the: Steak Risotto* Chef's choice of marinated steak on a bed of mushroom & herb risotto topped with arugula & tomato in a lemon vinaigrette, shaved parmesan cheese & crispy fried pickled shallots $36.00 I thought the beef stroganoff was the better of the two dishes. The steak in the steak risotto was a bit tougher than I thought it would be. The Elote Queso is killer and served with a ton of chips: Fire roasted poblano & green chili cheese dip topped with a blistered corn salsa & queso fresco served with house-made corn tortilla chips $14.00 The Burrata is outstanding and highly recommended: 4-ounce cold burrata cheese ball smothered in warm house-made marinara topped with basil & grilled baguette $11.00 The service here is fantastic - always pleasing. Very nice ambience, local vibe. Good selection of beer and wine. Very little to complain about. Definitely check this place out if you're in Billings.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before I go to the airport. My salad was not quick, not sure what the holdup was, yet that does not affect my rating. Service by Erica was fabulous. She's nice, efficient, and very personable. Bonus that the managers son was here helping bus tables, and clean up! What a great experience in Billings for a late lunch. I ordered beet salad with chicken. Brussels sprouts, iced tea and crème broke for dessert. Great spot. I'll be back.

So glad we could stop in for a bite to eat - they were nearly booked with reservations for the evening! But the hype is worth it. Unique takes on meal classics make this a great spot for casual fine-dining. Note: ask for "real kimchi" on the side if you get the kimchi carbonara ;)

This is, for me, an "experience" restaurant. Every time I come here, I find real commitment from all of the Marble Table staff to provide me with an evening of great food, flawless service and a wonderful, unique use of a lovely old building. Yum, great food and reasonable prices. Seems like the nicest restaurant in Billings. We really like the burrata which is very yummy. We got the beef which was a huge portion and the chicken dish that was a little bland but also a very generous portion. Prices are reasonable for the portions and a bit on the higher side for Billings (2 drinks, 2 apps and 3 meals was around $200). This is one of our favorites in Billings.

A great spot downtown, with huge portions and a tasty menu. Went here while visiting some fam. We shared a salad and the tuna tartare as an appetizer and grabbed a bottle of wine. The specials were either a ribeye or halibut. We got the ribeye special and the pork chop off the regular menu. Well made, well seasoned and again a large portion. Add to that the great service. Our waiter had only been there a couple weeks and seemed as if he had been there for a while. Owners were also in the house, great folks. If I could change anything, get a liquor license - a cocktail would be wonderful here. Parking after 6 is free down the street if street parking isn't available.

I am so glad we went here. I grew up in the Midwest and have been craving beef stroganoff for no less than a year. I can never find it anywhere. As soon as I saw it on the menu I had to go. Don't be intimidated the price tag, it comfortably fed two of us and my boyfriend is a guy that can put food away! The noodles and beef are locally sourced and perfectly cooked. No joke we are thinking about going back for more for dinner as well. The service was amazing and friendly. It felt as comfortable and warm as being at a friend's house! Go. Eat too much and be merry.

We selected this restaurants randomly and we're all SO glad we stopped in. We're just passing through but if we ever return to Montana then we will return. Local beers on draft! The menu options are unique and diverse with a value on local and fresh. Kiddie menu that our little one loved.We went with the jalapeño corn fritters, kinda like hush puppies, they were a little salty but SO tasty! We also got the lamb meatloaf, which my husband LOVED, and the shrimp grits, which was perfect. The servings are Montana sized. We will definitely enjoy it again tomorrow. Don't leave without the chocolate creme brulee. I need to also add this ambience includes both the comfort of private booths with local art with chill music.

Passed through Billings and looked for a spot to have dinner. Found The Marble table on a recommended list on the internet and I can see why they're in the top 5. I didn't have a reservation but staff was accommodating to me as I was alone. (Recommend reservations!) My waiter was great with recommendations and checking on me. Restaurant is on a main road in town and in a strip of shops. Layout was nice and open, only about 10 tables in the main room so get your reservations in like I mentioned. I ordered an item off the specials menu which is not listed but staff will read to you. Halibut with a lemon caper wine sauce over a bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus. Let me tell you that s*** was amazing. Halibut was cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. LARGE PORTIONS so be aware, I definitely had leftovers for how hungry I was. I also ordered the crème brûlée for desert which are all homemade. Not to sweet and perfect amount of chocolate flavor If I'm ever in Billings again, I will be stopping here.

I was very excited after seeing the menu, but disappointed by the food. In short, everything was too rich for my taste, covering good stuff with too much sauce and too many toppings. The heirloom tomato salad started with great tomatoes, but then covered them with a bunch of dressing/parmesan/other toppings. It's like when someone tells you they're "bringing a salad" and bring a jello salad with whipped cream on top. The fried chicken had great chicken and was my favorite dish, but it had too much other stuff on it. The pork belly bowl was the same - exciting menu item at first glance, but way too much sauce and too rich. I also felt the same about the hummus plate. I doubt I'll ever come back.

Very nice on the inside, perfect ambiance. We got take out and the food was delicious! Spoke to one of the owners and she was so so friendly and kind. Will definitely go back!

We are from Michigan and stopped in Billings for the night on our way to Yellowstone. I looked around on Yelp for restaurant recommendations and found The Marble Table. I'm so thankful for Yelp! The staff were incredibly helpful in their wine, beer and food recommendations. My husband and grandson opted for the lamb meatloaf and claimed it best ever. I ordered the Alaskan halibut and was very happy and would highly recommend it to all. The owner came over to check on us at end of meal and couldn't have been nicer. I can't recommend this place enough!

Wow! When you think of Billings MT, you probably don't imagine creative and cunning culinary dining experiences...but The Marble Table is fantastic. The self taught chef has created some modern takes twists on American and ethnic classic dishes. The interior is elegant modern without being pretentious, and the staff is super friendly. The passionate owners came by and visited us for a while too! $10 Grilled Caesar...the BEST Caesar Salad on Earth! Grilled Roma crunch lettuce has a wonderful smoked charred flavor with their inhouse Caesar dressing and house-made garlic croutons shaved parmesan and full anchovies. It's like I've never had Caesar ever! $24 Comfort MarBowl...tasty fried chicken nuggets on top of red mashed potatoes, shredded white cheddar, sweet corn, house-made chicken gravy...its modern comfort food, delicious! $28 Lamb Meatloaf...an American classic amped with lamb with skin-on red mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, pickled vegetables topped with mushroom gravy. Desserts are amazing too, and the wine and beer are reasonably priced. Eat here if you get a chance!

Food was absolutely amazing! We both had the specials for the night and they were both soooo good! The jalapeño corn fritters are worth having again! Ambiance was quiet and we loved the booth we sat in. We felt closed off from the rest of the restaurant...it was perfect! The service was impeccable! We never felt rushed to make a decision and our server checked on us just the right amount of times! The only negative thing I can say is that we wish prices would have been listed with the specials. I assumed they would be more expensive, but I wasn't expecting twice as expensive as the highest regular item on the menu. I understand part of that is on me, as the customer, but it would have been nice for the server to mention it. However, we will be back to continue to eat off the "regular" menu!

We've been eating at The Marble Table for some time, and we've never had a disappointing meal. The menu is creative, the quality and presentation of the food is exceptional, and the service is always friendly and attentive. This is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere in the country! Highly Recommend!!!

Everything was delicious, we had the smash burger and the Italian pork w polenta. We were stuffed and so sad to leave the leftovers behind. Next time we will come hungry and plan to be served three meals, the portions are ginormous. Flavors out of this world delicious. Service was friendly and knew the menu well. During my short visit to Montana, I made a list of restaurants I wanted to try, and this place has got to be on the list, given all the raves on the internet whenever I search for what to eat in Billings. They are closed on Sundays, but to my luck, I have a free Wednesday! So I dropped by for lunch. The restaurant has a cozy, clean, and minimalist interior. The booths are separated by partitions, giving each table a sense of privacy. The menu consists of elevated fusion food with a touch from all around. There's some Italian influence with Beef Bolognese and Risotto. There's also some Asian influence with Sticky Pork Belly Bowl and General Tso Cauliflower; Eastern European with Beef Stroganoff and Pork Schnitzel; and various American classics like Mac and Cheese, Chicken Pot Pie, Burgers, etc. They also have changing daily specials. I went for the Steak Risotto. Perfect portion! I've been to many restaurants that consider themselves fancy with the goal of less food for a higher price. I'm so glad this place is the opposite. Generous, satisfying portions! That's what we like! The steak was laid atop mushroom, herbs, and parmesan risotto and topped with an arugula salad tossed in lemon vinaigrette and crispy fried onions. While the steak was boldly (and deliciously) seasoned, the risotto had a milder taste to balance it. Apparently, the meat was heavily marinated in tamari and Worcestershire sauce before cooking, giving it a darker color. At the same time, I'm glad they picked a meatier, leaner cut to balance out the density of the risotto. Thus, here we have comfort food that is light enough. The salad adds not only color but, more importantly, texture and acidity to the dish. The presentation may not be as fancy as everything stacked on top of each other on a plate, but it was a very hearty and comforting lunch. Everything on the dessert menu looks good, but I have to go with the sticky toffee pudding. It's probably my favorite thing to order in a restaurant. As expected from a sticky toffee pudding, the whole plate exploded with sweetness. The cake was a smidge bit on the dry side but soaked up the sauce beautifully. A lovely way to end lunch, indeed. The service was excellent. The staff were amicable and accommodating. If I'm back in Billings, I would love to return.

We had a lunch for 6, all different dishes, and everyone said that their meal was fantastic! The waitress was wonderful friendly but not too. It was a great experience. Definitely going back again!

Sat. night @ our fav eatery celebrating our 56th wedding anniversary, just us 2. Try the shaved Brussels sprouts, mmmmnn...then the halibut special, my mouth is still watering.. Fabian served us very promptly & was attentive throughout the meal. The ginger brûlée shared finished our meal sweetly & we'll be back whenever we can.. Portions are generous, food delicious & artistically presented. Quality of food & service are worth the cost. Chef Casey?..cooked the halibet perfectly!

We were looking to get a little dressed up and have a nice dinner and wow this did not disappoint! Our server, Chris, was the absolute best. His recommendations were on point and you could really tell he knew the food. The food was delicious and the wine was great for the price. I got the steak and it was cooked perfectly along with the asparagus. Plus the portions were very generous which was great. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Billings.

I'm thrilled we discovered the marble table! Elegant comfort food is just about the perfect description. We chatted with the owners, Jason and Jennifer Marble which made their place feel that much more like a friend's house than a restaurant. We were fortunate to arrive without a reservation and get a table because the place filled up quickly. I had the sticky pork belly bowl (yum!) and my wife had the steak risotto (also yum!). We aren't from the area but we plan to come back specifically to have more of their incredible eats. Oh yeah, do yourself a favor and get the lemon cheesecake for dessert!

I stopped in here for lunch on a recent stay in Billings. The owners and waitress could not have been nicer, giving me some insights in what to do in and around Billings. And my salad was a very generous portion, which I managed to finish, and also delicious. Just what I was looking forward after a few days/nights of camping/traveling across Montana. If you find yourself in Billings, definitely worth a stop!

My favorite restaurant in Billings. Everything I've ever gotten has been terrific, good sized portions, a rotating menu (plus and a minus, some of the best things I've eaten in Billings have been here, and are lost to the sands of time) of interesting, flavorful and well presented food, and really reasonable prices for what you're getting. Service is prompt and friendly. Nice clean interior. Getting reservations can definitely be an issue. Highly recommend the burrata appetizer as well as the chips and elote queso.

Great food, fresh ingredients, quality meats and good menu with wide variety of options. You will find something you like and be surprised with how well it tastes. Service is very attentive and prompt. 100% would come back here when in Billings.

Enjoyed a perfect Anniversary Dinner with the amazing staff & delicious food at The Marble Table. The entire crew was in on helping me surprise my wife & making the evening memorable. Chase's Chicken Sam'ich was also the best Chicken Sandwich I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. I would highly recommend the food, staff, and experience at The Marble Table.

We had reservations for 645 pm and were told to wait for 10 minutes. "Your table is almost ready. The guests ahead of you have paid and we're waiting to clean the table." That was not true. After 35 minutes we sat down and our dinner turned out to disappointing. The server was nice but new and overwhelmed. They were late bringing out one of our meals. The seven of us were waiting for the one meal and after 20 minutes we dig in and began eating cold meals. Oh the excuses as to why it was the one fried chicken and waffle or corn meal was delayed were comical. Not good ones. "We think we burned your dinner. No, we don't know. We're very busy." The food was terrible. Not what we remember from when they first opened. Back then the food was exceptional. I'm sorry to say that the food, the service, the logistics of managing a small restaurant have suffered greatly. I hope the can turn it around. I like that they kept the Covid partitions. It's a nice touch.

Always an excellent meal. They have treated my family like their family numerous times. Easily the best all around restaurant in Billings.

The servings are humongous, easy to share and well worth the money. It's presented as a beautiful gourmet dish. Great service and delicious desserts!

I ordered too much! Been on road for three days not eating much,, wanted to treat myself and my Lover before we hit our destination,, WHOA!! How wonderful the menu looked so tasty we wanted to try more we actually ordered. The dishes are delicious and inspiring. Whoever the Chef and the owners are- they have an incredible staff and if I was there Nana, I'd be so proud of everyone of these humans. Bravo Our waitress was Denise, we ordered the Moroccan Lentil, Halibut Special, Crab Cake and home made chips and forgot the name of dip-- we were shy of licking the bowl HA

Wow.. super great food! And even better service. We really enjoyed our time at The Marble table and it is a great place to go with your family to enjoy quality time together. The food was absolutely amazing and left us wanting more. I wish we lived closer, we would be here all the time!

It's a nice clean upscale environment. Lemonade was vey good. Service was good. The tuna tartare lacked flavor. It was a little dry, and the bread was only grilled on the presentation side. So was soft. Salad was good, chicken was tasty. Pork belly was okay, I don't like shoe string fries, they get cold fast. I complimented the home made ranch. The server asked if I wanted extra to take home with my left overs. I said yes. Wasn't expecting to pay $1 extra for that. Don't nickel and dime customers, or let them know it's extra. For the most part it was good.

Staff was amazing. Ordered the marble burger. Some bites were spicer than others, which I loved. The French fries were amazing. Would love to come back and try other things on the menu.

We went for the short ribs advertised on yelp but went with steak risotto and lamb meat loaf! Can you say exquisite yummy!

I was so looking forward to eating here , you should advertise in big red letters you need reservations!! I was there at 6:30 pm however we have to wait for seating until 8:30 !! Wow we were coming from out of town from Wa.

Wow, literally every single thing we tried was delicious and we can't wait to come back and try some more. We had the jalapeno corn fritters, the burrata, elote queso, the tomato salad and the kimchee carbonara and we couldn't possibly pick a favorite. This will be our go to restaurant when we have folks in town visiting. Definitely a new fave!

Wow! Just wow! Everything was so well prepared and full of flavor. The portions were enormous! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great restaurant experience in Billings.

Best restaurant in town. Our son described it this way, "Every item is the best version of that meal." The restaurant is lively without being too noisy or chaotic. The service is attentive and helpful without being overbearing. I honestly don't like going out to eat in general, but I am always willing to go to the Marble Table.

What a find! Unassuming street presence with smallish upscale interior revealing innovative menu., large portioned food with creative presentation and pleasant , personable staff with sit down service. A keeper for delicious food .
