Edisto Beach stands apart for its quiet atmosphere and fiercely independent spirit. Highlighted by Coastal Living and Garden & Gun, this community-owned destination shuns heavy commercialization in favor of family-run shops, seafood shacks, and locally managed vacation rentals. The unspoiled beach is perfect for shell hunting, biking, or simply enjoying the gentle waves. Edisto’s strong local identity and stewardship over its natural resources make every visit feel like a true escape from the ordinary.

They were nice enough to schedule a Sunset Cruise on short notice... it was a great experience and Captain Jim was awesome, very entertaining and educational about the area... the restaurant Presley's is good overall a bit pricey but nice very busy good food and nice views!

Charles was really great. When I lost my anchor he brought one to the marina for me.

Nice. Sunset cruise to see some dolphins. We saw several. Fun time on 🐳 Thirsty Whale 🐳! Book with Bert!

Friendly staff and good slip accommodations. The boat ramp is a bit tricky.

Every Wednesday from 9am - 3pm they have a great little market with various hand made and crafted goods.

Nice docks, rented a slip for a week but the boat ramp leaves something to be desired. Lol I did it in 1 shot but watched others and it was comical. If you can't back a trailer, find another ramp.. challenge extended.

only good if you have a timy boat

Yelp
Food soso. Overpriced for quality. Minimal beer choices. Long wait for food. Restrooms nasty. Otherwise, fun atmosphere.

Yelp
Recently my and I took a Custom Tour of the waters around Edisto Island with Captain William Crawford Moore. We had an absolutely delightful time. Captain Crawford made sure we saw dolphins feeding and many beautiful natural and historic sites. A main highlight was seeing the Shell Circle left so many years ago by the native people of the area. It is tragic that it is all too rapidly falling into the water now. So it was an especially important sight. I would like to thank him for creating such a wonderful experience for us all. We had so much fun and learned a bit at the same time.

Yelp
We stopped at this marina with our 40-foot catamaran on our way from Fort Lauderdale to Charleston. It was easy to get in, the dock attendant and manager were friendly and helpful, and one of the employees even gave us a ride to the grocery store! This is easily now one of our favorite stops along the South Carolina coast. Do be careful of the current - it can be pretty strong so check your tide charts before heading in.
