This hotel is awesome. Great location, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The whole hotel smells very nice. The A/C works great which was very much appreciated on the hot, humid days. Location is fantastic - one block from Ocean Drive, two blocks from the beach, ultra quiet (no noise from the street - even on Friday and Saturday nights! - no noise from other guest rooms). Easy walk into the Art Deco area and South Beach, SO MANY restaurants within easy walking distance, and the onsite restaurant (Positano - Italian) is delicious and fairly priced. We're traveling with two daughters, and the queen size sofa bed was already made up when we arrived around 1:30 PM. The hallways have a vintage look - dark walls and carpets with cool gold lamps between each room - and the rooms themselves are super modern, very clean, very comfortable. Bathroom is great - two little rooms, actually - one with a very nice shower with glass doors, a toilet, and a sink, and an outer room with another sink and lots of mirrors. My wife and I had a king bed, and the sofa bed was a queen size and very comfortable. The staff with whom we've interacted have all been very nice. Everyone is all smiles, and the check-in person was very friendly and helpful, as well. My favorite touch - an espresso maker in the room!! I recommend this hotel 100% and will definitely stay again on our next trip to Miami.

I was so pleasantly surprised at the level of hospitality and forethought the Marlin provides their guests. They had a beach bag prepared for each room, and beach chairs and umbrellas for beach time. So thoughtful. ||The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean, and nicely decorated. Most importantly, it had a fully functioning A/C and was quiet. ||The employees from the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We wanted ideas of places to go to after dinner and they had excellent recommendations. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Marlin! The location, cleanliness, service, and overall quality were truly outstanding. In the U.S., it’s rare to find this level of service without paying a fortune. The hotel is right in the heart of South Beach — you can walk to everything. The rooms are super modern and recently renovated, but what impressed me the most was the housekeeping. They were incredibly clean and detail-oriented. Freshly pressed bed linens, spotless rooms, and every day they restocked our Nespresso pods and water bottles. From the moment we walked in, the staff was kind, attentive, and really knew what they were doing. I was so happy with my experience — I would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely hotel at a great location. Hotel is older / has character but felt modern. Nice touches like a beach bag in room with beach towels, and available beach chairs and umbrella. Convenient short walk to the beach and many nearby stores and restaurants. Nice restaurant in the lobby as well.

We,ve booked a Corner suite and really liked the room and very much enjoyed our stay at these lovely hotel! The staff is very friendly. The rooms were always clean and quiet. Despite the hotel offers no Swimmingpool, guests can get sun chairs and umbrellas for the Beach. There is a also an Italien Restaurant in the hotel, were hotel guests get 15% off.

A great stay in Miami Beach! The hotel is very nice, with beautiful furnishings. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and everything was clean and well maintained. Great value for money. It’s conveniently located, just a short walk from a municipal parking lot ($20/day) and close to a supermarket — even though breakfast is not provided on site. I definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Miami Beach!

The Marlin Hotel is an eclectic property with a wonderful charm, and the staff is incredibly helpful and kind, making the stay very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, but I did encounter a few challenges. The only outlets that worked were in the bathroom, there was no coffee in the room without an extra charge, and the TVs lacked operating instructions and were in a language with no option to change. Despite these minor inconveniences, I truly appreciated the overall experience and would recommend the hotel for its unique atmosphere and warm service.

The location is perfect. The building is art deco and the restaurant is chic for the area.||Our room (Premium Studio) on the first floor had no natural light as the window faces another building and a dirty alleyway. That's a bit depressing. The room is quite small for American standards. There is a resort fee, but the hotel doesn't have facilities. You get beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels and a beach bag, but that seems to be pretty much it for quite a high fee. For about $360 per night the value you get is low. We stayed at Marlin back in 2018 and the hotel was recently renovated then. Now it looks dated, a few things are broken, the standards are definitely not the same.
