On the Grid : The Masquerade

"This heralded concert and event venue has a tremendously distinct interior space reminiscent of a 15th century medieval dungeon, and that's only a part of the allure. It is entirely its own experience and, as a result, is hands down a can't-miss in the neighborhood. Undoubtedly, you'll almost always see a line forming outside the door for the next amazing band or event." - Steven Johnson Studio

It's awful. I came from Baton Rouge to see the warning. I left early. The AC didn't work. The place was so full there was nowhere to stand to see and in half the floor the view was impeded by a giant column. The sound was all over the place. Great on one song and slurry as hell on others. The drinks are fairly priced and the bartenders were professionally nice. The security was rude on the way out. And they stole my umbrella at check in. Don't waste your money and definitely don't travel from out of state to see a band here.

This venue is great and overall an amazing experience. I've been to a show in Hell and Heaven. Hell is smaller, but I like the setup a lot. Heaven is much bigger with tiered balconies, which was nice. However, the merch setup was not ideal. It was on the side of the venue next to where everyone was standing for the show. Which made it nearly impossible to get to the tables. Other than that, I love this venue, and I will definitely be back.

This review is only for the "Heaven" venue. I have never been in a venue that actually stays comfortable despite being filled to capacity. I was dancing without overheating. Nice clean bathrooms and a well-organized entry.

The Masquerade was a great venue. Very happy to have the free water refill stations and easy access to the bathroom upstairs around the balcony. My son was super excited about the all ages venue. I will say $7 for a Gatorade was a bit steep when the beer was also $7! You could see the whole stage from the balcony. I wish the merch area was a little larger. But it worked out well. We had a great time.

Great venue. Production value top notch. Big bar with lots of servers means quick drink pickup. Easily available water for self service. Bathrooms are a little small but otherwise clean.

I went to the icp concert yesterday and it was amazing! It was nice and cold because they had the ac Blasting- I think that the only heat came from the amount of people because after everyone left it was chilly Restrooms are nice and clean, ladies be warned though because the stall I went into didn't have one of those box things for the 'non flushables' if you catch my drift.. Good security check if you worry about that, nice and simple The stage was nice, there was a second story balcony from what I saw but i didn't get the chance to go up there unfortunately Honorable mention: the frys and the fried pickles were delicious 😋

LOVE this place!! The little alleyway when you go in is so cool! And so many good bands play here 😍😍 100/10 will continue coming back.

Great Venue! Great central location. The courtyard is a nice place to chill before and after shows. The venue is decently sized but still intimate. There is everything you'd expect at a venue. The security guards were nicer than most places I've seen concerts at. But again, to be expected with Atlantas amazing customer service. I saw an ICP show, and the whole venue was covered in Faygo. And the staff were still super cheery and accommodating. After the show they were busy looking for everyones lost goods. I of course, recommend seeing a show in Atlanta. Flew all the way from the west coast for this and did not disappoint.
