Maybourne Cafe is a beautiful spot with a relaxing vibe and great service, perfect if you’re staying at the hotel. The atmosphere is elegant but still comfortable, and the food is fresh and well-prepared. Their pastries are top-notch and the presentation is impressive. The coffee is really good, but just know you’re paying luxury prices, around $10 for a cup. While that’s definitely on the high side, you’re also paying for the experience and setting. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind or meet someone for a casual, upscale coffee break.

Google
One of my favorite places to hang out. Beautiful courtyard to look at. Good food and drinks. Makes you feel fancy. Worth the higher prices. Biscuits with clotted cream and jam are awesome but expensive. Bagel and lox is great. Bacon superb. Toasts are good. Good place to socialize or pop out the laptop. The have free WiFi too.

Google
70$ egg One star did not make it because presentation of the egg is flawed. There are cracks in 2 flowers because the whole egg wasn’t aligned at center. The paint behind the flower petals is missing as well. Looks like ruched work for presentation. Haven’t tasted it yet but expect it will be delicious. Will update review if needed.

We popped in for a desperately needed caffeine boost and we weren't let down. Service was helpful and prompt and the courtyard is a great place to wind down. Also of special note, there were public open restrooms just the other side of the courtyard that we used and were well maintained.

First time here. The food we ordered was not worth the money we paid for it: a salmon bagel and an avocado toast with some coffee… but The atmosphere, the service, the overall vibe and cuteness beats everything. Amazing location, beautiful everything. Loved this place!

Google
It's a lovely spot for a casual lunch with comfortable seating outside. Unfortunately,we were unable to get a table outside, but the inside of the restaurant also had its charm. We can highly recommend their orange latte (especially with oatmilk), the chickpea wrap (to die for!), the asian kale was pretty good, and the hamburger was decent but we had better ones in the past. The scones were okay, but again, we had better ones in the past. Overall, it's a cute place for a casual lunch.

Google
The place is so cute I enjoy sitting outside on the courtyard but the service is non existent they come so late then when they take the order they don’t come back for another 30 mins. The food isn’t even good for a 5 star hotel and when the burger is $30 you expect the food to be good at least

Shout out to my awesome and attentive server Yasmin, a well-spoken and interesting LA gal. She recommended the Maybourne elixir, which has a little kick appreciated by this "Texi-cali" gal. Expensive, but really... it's Beverly Freakin' Hills, a place where $16 juices are not out of the question. This is a great place to take some tea, people watch, and relax after gawking at all the stores from which you'd buy things if you had a huge bankroll. They have comfy couches where you can stretch out and meditate or maybe cat-nap. I went for after-lunch (juice is HUGE thing in LA) and made it last while I watched all the Christmas shoppers. But, looking around at the diners, the food looked pretty amazing. I will definitely try one of their signature dishes next time I am in town.

Yelp
I love coming to The Maybourne Beverly Hills. I always have an exceptional experience. The Maybourne Beverly Hills is an incredible destination! The service reminds me of white glove service. The experience is always very memorable!! My husband and I love going to The Maybourne Cafe. I love Claridge's Bespoke Blend Tea, the Baja Fish Tacos, the Cafe has the best fries, and the affogato is so cute with the donuts. And everyone is so nice. I always have a spectacular time. The service and the experience are always impeccable and flawless. The cafe inside is gorgeous and the decor is one of a kind. And I love sitting on the couches outside on the patio as well facing the beautiful garden.

Yelp
I met a client at the Maybourne Hotel and we had lunch on the terrace overlooking the large courtyard decorated for Christmas. I had my first club sandwich in 25 years because they had gluten-free bread. The sandwich was huge so I could only eat half of it and took the other half home. My client had the salad and while it's a bit pricey, the café is an enjoyable spot to relax and take in the sites in Beverly Hills.

Yelp
Located in the Beverly Canon Gardens, the Maybourne Cafe is one of several outdoor eateries. One star for a delicious smoked trout salad. One star for being dog friendly. One star for staff being very polite and efficient I have to knock off a star for the ridiculously high prices. I'm happy to pay a higher price point when the food and ambiance deserve it. But I just didn't see that an outdoor cafe with a trout salad, even in Beverly Hills, was worth $30.00. I also have to knock off a star for the challenging nature of the parking. It may be complimentary, but the parking lot is challenging, dark, and hot. I felt very bad for the workers down there. Overall, I'm glad I tried Maybourne, and the salad was very tasty, but I can't see returning. When I'm at Beverly Canon Gardens, I'll eat at the casual cafe across the courtyard, with burgers, salads, sandwiches, and crepes for $13.95.

Yelp
It was a lovely coffee time, the place is so cute and clean, and Dan made our experience the sweetest. Thank you so much! Really appreciated all your effort while accommodating our requests.

Yelp
Had breakfast here because we needed to catch a flight; paid like $30 for a breakfast burrito that took a long time to come out and was pretty pedestrian. Required 20% tip. Wouldn't eat here again.

Yelp
The food is great, we ordered coffee such as French press and latte which took a little bit of time to come. The ambience and setting is absolutely stunning and beautiful, on weekends. There is a light band that plays during brunch hours starting 11:30 AM. For parking, the valet is in the front entrance of the hotel. I also got the green vitality juice which was fresh and delicious. I plan to take my parents here later on.

Yelp
A beautiful setting and that is what you are paying for. My drip coffee was 12 dollars. The food was decent but over priced. The service was average at best. Our server disappeared for most of the breakfast. I did not get a refill on the coffee until we asked for the bill.

Yelp
Finally made it to The Maybourne Cafe, and while I had high hopes for an exceptional dining experience, I must say that overall, I am not impressed. Upon entering, the ambiance truly captivates you; the elegant decor and serene atmosphere create an inviting space that seems to promise a memorable meal. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations. Despite the exquisite setting, the dishes felt overpriced, as though the lofty prices were more reflective of the chic surroundings than the quality of the culinary offerings themselves. It's a pity because with such a stellar ambiance, I had envisioned a dining experience that would tantalize my taste buds as well. On a positive note, the service was excellent; the staff was attentive, friendly, and professional and they truly seemed committed to making the dining experience pleasant. However, excellent service alone cannot compensate for the disappointment of overpriced mediocre food. Overall, while The Maybourne Cafe may offer an enchanting atmosphere and top-notch service, the lackluster food leaves much to be desired, making it difficult to recommend it wholeheartedly.

Yelp
I got an iced coffee and almond croissant to go today. It was my first time at the cafe and it was busy. Both were good but very expensive definitely not a place to frequent regularly. The iced coffee is $8 and almond croissant is $10.

Yelp
This cafe sits at the bottom of the Maybourne Hotel in Beverly Hills, overlooking the grassy patio area. The staff were super friendly and my server was very attentive. I gave the review 4 stars due to the prices being a bit high (croissants were $8 if that helps), although I still very much enjoyed my delicious cappuccino and Maybourne Club sandwich (roasted turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on toasted white bread with a side of chips - $30 and delicious! It also was a fairly decent size, bigger than what I'd expected, yet could have been about $8-$10 less). Overall, lovely experience

Yelp
Delicious food and wonderful ambiance. Perfect for a quiet afternoon business meeting. Service was fast and friendly, the iced tea was refreshing and our server brought over a side of simple syrup for me. We ordered the lobster BLT and the sea bass tacos to split. The sandwich came with a side of homemade potato chips, which were crispy and wonderful. I liked that the BLT had avocado on it. I added sea salt to the sandwich for extra flavor. The sea bass was breaded and the green sauce on the side was delectable. We asked for extra lime to squeeze onto the tacos and it arrived swiftly. All in all, a good value for the price and a wonderful setting.

Yelp
We had a wonderful breakfast here after our stay at the hotel! Service was great, very friendly and informative. They have plenty of inside as well as outside seating and a great menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. We really enjoyed their made to order juices and tried all of them over the course of our stay at the hotel. Very fresh and delicious, highly recommended!

Yelp
Very fancy and beautiful hotel that offers amazing dining choices whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very chique ambiance with lots of beautiful decor. Indoor and outdoor dining with amazing service. Perfect place for a special occasion or celebration.

Yelp
Tasty chai tea latte and regular latte. Eggs on toast was nothing special but good. Ambiance is great. Quiet place to grab a quick breakfast. Patio furniture is a good place to lounge when the weather is nice. Nice you can be served the full menu on the patio.

Yelp
This place is a kind of London-snooty hangout for bleached blond and botoxed BH babes, past-their prime but still rocking those black jumpsuits and Balenciaga bags. The juice was delicious and fresh, though. Expensive as only Beverly Hills can be. Went there for juice and it set me back $16. But, hey! It's Beverly Hills juice, probably hand squeezed by some down-on-their-luck former "Real Housewives" or something. (You know those BH divorces don't come cheap!) I could totally see Andy Cohen sitting on a comfy Maybourne couch, listening to vapid comments from a Barbie doll guest. Still, the Maybourne brings a little bit of English civility to a city in short supply of anything remotely civil. Great place to put your feet up and watch the fascinating and sometimes scary parade of humans that is LA. My server Yasmin was interesting and slightly ironic, as only a true LA born and bred person can be. My advice, have coffee and tea here, skip a meal (if you're like me, you can go without food for a while and be OK). Instead of giving the hotel a month's rent for a steak or omelet or something, give that money to YOUR SERVER. Tip more than the total of your check if you can. These people work hard and have a thankless job cleaning up after rich people. At the very least thank them for their service. And, if you run into Yasmin, say hello from Tammy in the IE.

Yelp
Food- Eggs Benedict were delicious. Eggs were poached just right and the shaved ham was mild tasting with the English muffins soft. Potatoes were a crispy but not too crispy. Bacon was overcooked... too crispy to chew. Avocado toast was not good. The spread did not taste good and the toast was burnt. Cinnamon bread was light and tasty. Service - fair Ambiance- Paris cafe vibes... beautiful and crowded. The food here is a hit or miss.

Yelp
The Maybourne Hotel is owned by the same group who owns Claridge's Hotel in London. The Maybourne serves Claridge's scones and Claridge's blend tea. Was curious what Claridge's scones and tea were like so went to the Maybourne Cafe this morning and had scones and tea. Everyone there was very nice and very helpful, Thought the scones were rather dry and crunchy. There was a lot of clotted cream so that helped, There was also some Sqirl Jam. The Sqirl Jam was very thin and watery, more like juice than like jam. Didn't use any of the Sqirl Jam.

Antarika S.

Yelp
Great for a slow afternoon coffee and a light meal while people watching in the patio
google avatar

Yelp
$12 black coffee (+ 20% auto grat, so $15) - to charge this (and not list this price on your menu) is criminal price gouging (the manager agreed) - do better.
google avatar

Yelp
Quaint and simple. Always a nice stop and a place to enjoy good coffee and semi grab and go. Even though we enjoy the ambiance and sitting here sipping coffee tea and hot chocolate.

Yelp
I'm having the best experience at The Maybourne Cafe in Beverly Hills. Leo has been so attentive, friendly and welcoming today. I appreciate that from a waiter. He was great. I've really enjoyed my matcha latte with honey. It was so creamy, sweet, refreshing and just so delicious. Sitting under the canopy with the greenery and topiary's made me feel like I was in the south of France or in Italy. I just love the ambience. It's just the most fabulous place to sit and enjoy a drink, meal or something.

Yelp
Perfect to take a break from all the shopping at Rodeo . Lattes were on point to get us through our next leg of WINDOW shopping

Yelp
The Maybourne Cafe is part of The Maybourne Hotel, it's across from The Terrace restaurant and it also faces Beverly Canon Garden. When you just want to enjoy a drink: coffee, tea, wine or a cocktail it's one the best spots to sit and enjoy the garden setting view outdoors in the heart of Beverly Hills. The menu offers very similar items as The Terrace restaurant but it's condensed. Despite it being outdoors, proof of vaccination is required to enter. The staff are all professional and accommodating. Our waiter Brandon was excellent. Kids and pets friendly. Currently, the garden lawn is fenced and off limits as it is recovering from the holiday visitors. Seating at the cafe is limited, so be sure to make a reservation. It is a delightful area and most definitely recommend.

Yelp
20% forced service charge during brunch on Saturday and Sundays. Expect shitty service. Server won't tell you either. Our server literally disappeared after taking our order. No word. No management check-in. The men delivering the food realized late too and apologized but no reason why. Manager didn't come explain it. We were baffled waiting for so long and no Fries took 1.25 hours. Scones took 1 hour.. Order came out wrong. And food was still over 30 min. Menu is pretty random too. Asian salad, Greek yogurt bowls and avocado toasts. Also, they haven't labeled salt and pepper in exact same bottle so you're constantly checking which is which lol. The place is a mess. So many red flags.
google avatar

Yelp
The person at the counter where I ordered coffee poured the syrup so aggressively that it got on my hands, hair, and eyelashes when I asked for a splash. They never apologized, and when I said, "That was totally passive aggressive," they responded with, "Excuse me? Excuse me if you splashed the syrup all over me and that's my fault." Terrible service; this person should not work there.

Yelp
We go to the Maybourne Hotel often and have tried the Terrace but only recently tried the Maybourne Cafe and we definitely will add to our rotation. The food, service and ambiance have all been great for the 3 times that we've been there thus far. It's a nice casual setup indoors with a coffee bar and large open fridge section with sandwiches drinks and desserts. We have tried the Turkey Club, breakfast burrito, tomato soup (a bit spicy), fish tacos, Caesar Salad and the triple chocolate mouse. All pretty solid although the tomato soup is a bit spicier then we'd like but it comes with a delicious mini grilled cheese sandwich to take off some of the bite if you dip it. They also have a nice outdoor patio area that we'll take advantage of once the weather gets warmer.

Josie C.

Yelp
I love this place but Maybourne Cafe I challenge you to justify one single cup of drip coffee being worth $15.77 (gratuity automatically included). HOW is ONE SINGLE cup of DRIP COFFEE worth twelve dollars before tax and tip?!!! Be so real you know that is just egregious and indefensible. Highway robbery. Were the beans sourced by Mr Maybourne himself? Did he sail the seven seas to breed the world's finest coffee bean which he then roasted, ground, and poured over with water flown in from the fountain of youth just to make ONE cup of drip coffee for me specifically? Giving you the chance to make it make sense to a person who has been going to the restaurant since it opened and wants you to stay open.

Yelp
Beautiful cafe but the worst latte I've ever had. Milk was scorched and it was undrinkable, it went straight in the trash and I went right on over to Blue Bottle. It was a cheap lesson at $9 for a latte.

Melissa S.

Yelp
loved the ambiance of this cafe, it's definitely a hidden gem and would love to come back! It's self seating and first come first served on the patio, they even have couches that are really comfy to just sit and lounge at after your meal. It is in beverly hills but they have free two hour parking available in the structures. The waiters were all really nice and everything came in a timely manner. I would say their drinks like the matcha and coffees are really good & 100% order the scones!! I didn't care much for the salad or fries, I would probably try the onion rings next time. It's also pet friendly! I would just note that this place is at the bottom of a hotel so it's filled with tourists so you would definitely be paying for the view and ambiance on the patio - really nice on a summer day!
google avatar

Tony P.

Yelp
God forbid you sit at the very end of the cafe, you will sit for 15-20 minutes before anyone notices you... as you watch the waiters huddled and talking to each other at the other end. Beyond ridiculous for such a nice hotel.
google avatar

Jeremy A.

Yelp
$48 for a burger?! Not just the price but the taste is by far the worst even for fast food restaurants. You can get a better juicier burger for 1/4 the price. The bun itself was stale, as if it was breathing for air in my mouth when i took a bite. All this price for the ambiance of the restaurant. Don't come here unless you have covid and lost your sense of taste.

Jason S.

Yelp
I have been living in Beverly Hills for 12 years, unfortunately the service in this cafe is getting worse and worse. since we are talking about one of the hotels which should have professional staff. Probably this hotel needs another support from another manager, because I spoke to the only manager who is here and he told me that it is difficult to manage everything alone.

Gary S.

Yelp
Met a friend for coffee the other day. I ordered the hot chocolate. Not only the most tasteless hot chocolate I've ever had, it was the most overpriced: ten bucks for a standard cup. Pathetic. Never going back there.
google avatar

Francesco B.

Yelp
Leo, the manager is inappropriate in this place, his way of speaking is offensive, not to mention the Front desk, I arrived I asked for a seat for one the black girl was very busy playing With the mobile phone, then the waiters, I had been sitting for 10 minutes no one came to take the order So I asked the manager if When some waiter came to take the order but no one came, then they brought me a croissant but no cappuccino, I waited another 5 minutes and then I got up and explained that this It's rude, I live here, think about how they treat tourists.
google avatar

Zaro K.

Yelp
Great service & very nice atmosphere. The place is impeccably clean. Pricey yes $9 for an iced oat milk latte & $10 for a chocolate chip cookie but it's a beautiful cafe in Beverly Hills so not surprised to see these prices. The staff was really nice & very welcoming. We got a couple lattes, cookie w/ a couple vodka sodas sat inside for a bit before dinner. It's a great spot to people watch or catch up with a friend. I would come visit again even if the latte is $9 ;-)
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
Over priced and so slow. What on earth are they even doing back there it takes Forveee! Food is good especially the fries but my gosh the wait is hard to understand

Jesus G.

Yelp
Great place for a coffee meeting. Service is great. Jasmine was exceptional and attentive. Hope to return soon again and try some of their cocktails and food options.
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful place to come for an afternoon cappuccino or midday snack . I really enjoy their Cesar salad with a side or grilled shrimps . Ingrassio is a deer heart and always makes sure I have a warm seat next to a heater no matter what the situation is
google avatar

Yelp
The cafe is beautiful as it has a stunning garden side. If you're here for brunch on a sunny day, it looks like a spot straight off a movie. Food isn't that great though but service is great.
google avatar

Yelp
I love thé atmosphère. Great place to have a bite, cup of coffee or my favorite matcha. elegant and cosy. Service is very good. Prices are high and I wouldn't recommend croissants

Yelp
I've been here the past three days and have come to the cafe and Yohanna has been my barista and she has been nothing more than a delight. And the icing on the cake was Caroline came to support her! They are both nice and very professional. I'm pleased to have met them and because of them and the amazing pastries and coffee I'll definitely refer anyone to this amazing cafe. Cheers!!

Sasha S.

Yelp
Friendly staff horrible service. Ordered warm food and had to send it back three times as they kept bring it out cold. Finally left disappointed.
