"If refined, Texas cowboys decided to open up a restaurant, it would look like Credence. The dining room is straight out of Southern Living—high ceilings and shades of hunter green find their place next to walls of vintage butcher knives. The Memorial restaurant focuses on seafood, steaks, and just about anything that can be cooked over a live fire. Keep your meal as carnivorous as possible because the best dishes at Credence involve red meat. Like the delicate parisa that features pillowy pieces of smoky beef covered in cheddar cheese and coated in egg yolk. And if you’re with a big group, go for the whole duck, with tender meat coated in a sweet, silken jus. Or, maybe save room for a decadent truffle pasta and opt for a petite dry-aged steak that comes sliced on the side.
