First time there. It was a lively, noisy atmosphere inside. Next time I'll try to sit outside. I had pistachio soup, which was really different, but really good. It had zatar seasoning and yogurt in it. I also had chicken milanese, which was very tasty. Our server, Henry V., was friendly and attentive. We definitely will go back.

I came in for a late dinner by myself and everyone was absolutely lovely. The octopus appetizer is like nothing I've ever had before. I'm not usually a fan of a tomato sauce but everything in this dish worked together on overtime for such a pleasurable treat. I followed that with the lamb shank and it didn't disappoint. It was prepared such that all of the lambs bright flavors were highlighted brilliantly. I look forward to returning.

We walked to The Med from the Naples Botanical Gardens. Our dinner here was one of our top meals in Naples. We had the special Salt Crusted Lavraki. Love music started toward the end of our meal. Special Place!

So back again in Naples and with another incredible restaurant to recommend! This time it is The Med, a delightful blend of seafood and pasta with incredible presentation, unbelievable flavors, and great value. We had the lasagna Bolognese, which, without exaggeration I can say is the best lasagna I have ever had, and the Fiocchi allo Zola, an incredible pear stuffed pasta! The cocktails were amazing, especially the espresso Siciliano! And for dessert, the cappuccino and the tiramisu can’t be beat. Alex was fantastic - informative and attentive, and Tommy stopped by to check on us after the meal. Great service! If you come to Naples, you absolutely want to find this quiet little gem tucked away on Bayfront Avenue. Five stars all the way!

Dinner this evening outdoors at The Med was one of those rare meals that reminds you why Naples does dining so well when it gets it right. The food was simply outstanding. The carbonara may well be the best I’ve had this side of Rome—silken, deeply flavorful, and unapologetically authentic. A truffle pizza arrived fragrant and indulgent without tipping into excess, while a classic Margherita-style pie proved that simplicity, when done properly, is the ultimate flex: restrained, balanced, and utterly stellar. Service elevated the evening from memorable to exceptional. Sarah was nothing short of marvelous—warm, intuitive, and effortlessly polished—supported by a team that made us feel less like diners and more like returning friends. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted as though we belonged there, which, frankly, we now do. Our favorite restaurant in Naples without question—and one we’ll almost certainly visit again before this short trip ends. We have a rule: when a place is this good, once is never enough. And The Med understands that perfectly.

The Med Restaurant located in Bayshore’s Art district of Naples, Florida, is a rare gem! Run by Tommy, a local who is originally from Trani, Italy. Their GM, Chiro, is the host with the most! The bar master, Vlad, makes the best cocktails to your taste. Cheers! 🍸🍹🍷 They hosted An amazing wine dinner featuring, Adobe Road Racing Series, from Petaluma, CA. Excellent food and wine pairings! Highly recommend the experience and delicious cuisine at the Med! They also have fun, live music and dancing. Fun atmosphere! Feels like you’re in the Mediterranean.

I have been to The Med twice. Both times were great. We sat outside each time. It looks like an adorable Greek home in the Mediterranean. Took us a minute to figure out how to get in, ha, which makes it even cuter. The outdoor dining space is just enchanting. They had a violinist playing the last time we went which just made the place more magical. A very intimate dining experience. The pictures don't do it justice. They don't rush their guests at all, they truly seem like they care about the dining experience. The food was amazing both times. The service was perfect. It is my favorite place in Naples, a true rare hidden gem. Parking is a bit challenging, which may be the only downfall. We also didn't ask anyone where else to park which may have helped. The founders of The Med stated on their website that they desired to create a European coastal indoor/outdoor experience. They nailed that! See you again soon.

Went during sizzle week, here for the first time. Was not disappointed. Ordered the escargot which was amazingly delicious and tuna tartar which was incredibly good. Our entrees were the filet mignon and pistachio crusted salmon both prepared perfectly and deliciously. To top off our meals we ordered the pistachio tiramisu and almond panna cotta, what a great finish to an amazing dinner. Will definitely return!

My husband and I went to The Med and dined at their outdoor patio. This was the first time I have eaten outside. It was very pretty, yet comfortable. They had many 2-4 tops. Nice wooden table for a large party with wicker chandeliers, and loungers near the bar area. It was a little chilly, so they have heaters and also blankets if needed. The night we went they had live music (guitar player) which further enhanced the atmosphere. The starters were the reason I came here. My previous visit with friends, we just ordered lot of appetizers, small plates and drinks. This time, we ordered the mussels and bruschetta. The sauce on the mussels was delicious. I wish I ordered more bread just to soak up the sauce, but I still had my dinner to eat. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and my husband order the grouper dish. See pictures. The eggplant was soft (no skin??) and the marina sauce should be bottled and sold. The grouper came with risotto that was well prepared with a hint of lemon. Even though the portions weren't big, they were sufficient. We had cappuccino and pistachio tiramisu for dessert. Wow!! Great combination of flavors. The meals were traditional dishes but with a modern touch. Loved the whole night - The ambiance, the service, and the food. Highly recommend and definitely will return.

Every dish I've ordered here has been simply amazing! The ambiance inside is classy and the outside is very inviting. Service at the bar is very accommodating. I like seeing the owner visiting all the many guests to ensure his level of quality is being met/exceeded.

Unassuming exterior with small bar and few seats inside with large and beautiful patio out back. Great variety of meze and pizzas, making it easy to share with large groups! Attentive and quick service as well.

The ambiance was very pleasant. We were there on a rainy day so the outdoor seating was closed, the indoor seating was cozy and enjoyable. The food was delicious. Lamb shank pulled off bone, eggplant parmigiana melted in mouth, Rigatoni was delicious. The cheese pizza not as good as hoped, previous tried veggie pizza was better from flavor and crust. The pistachio tiramisu was yummy! Service was friendly, professional and trained on traditional etiquette (place plates down next to person not reach over table or give to customers to pass, females order first type of training). Will go back and very enjoyable and relaxed evening.

Went the other night for dinner with a small group of 5 people. Our friends had recommended this place. We decided to bring 2 bottles of wine one red and one white. Most corkage fees range from $15-$20. Well when we got our bill we saw the corkage fee for the first bottle was $35 and the second bottle was $55. Our server never informed us what the charges would be. If we had known we would never have brought wine. For this reason we will never return to this restaurant !! We were livid. This was unacceptable and deceptive practices. Not worth even reviewing the food at this point.

Food good ...very pretty outdoor dining but - buggy outside bring your deet or skin so soft. Left with bug bites on ankles and calves for weeks. Service lacking waited over 5 minutes to get water and another 15 for drinks and menu.

Excellent concept of restaurant with a food truck area at the back. The style reminds me of some restaurants in Austin or New York. The wine list has plenty of choices. The food is very good overall and I liked the dessert chocolate fondue. The only down side is the price, a bit too expensive for the place.

Amazing Resturant in the Bayshore District with an intimate feel. Service is 5 STAR with a well trained Staff creating a true memorable dining experience. The dishes are fresh with excellent choices for all palette's. Everyone I introduce always loves to come back. Thank everyone at the Med for such wonderful service, good, and great entertainment.

An always Naples stop. A hidden gem in East Naples, you'd have no idea that you were not in someone's beautiful backyard garden. The staff is generous, warm and welcoming and the food... I am still dreaming of. You must get the grilled Octopus and either whole chicken or whole fish when dining here!

Food was delicious. Went with friends but it was hard to hear the conversation. Could be crazy with the patio open in season.

The Med is now in our top six ! The food is exceptional. Very fresh ingredients that are prepared very well. The presentations are pleasing and certainly portioned so that you are surely taking some home. Our Server was experienced and patient . The actual delivery was a little wonky, table of 5 , so three meals would come out and there was this pause . But it was all good. New Place Great Food and a very nice place to share time with friends. Desserts were Killer!

This place is new, it used to be a pizza place before Covid. Now it is an upscale mediterranean restaurant. On season it was almost impossible to get seats. The place was packed! First issue was it was impossible to hear anything. It was like there was no sound absorption. I've been to packed restaurants but I never was at a place so loud that I couldn't hear what the person next to me was saying. I'm very into wine, but the Pinot noir was awful. It was so oak-y I couldn't drink it. After we ordered it took about an hour and a half to get our food. We were starving. They make you pay if you want bread for the table. The food was not bad but the only meal that was a joke was the surf and turf. The "surf" was two small shrimps with literally nothing inside. That was the most disappointing part of the evening. Our truffle pasta was okay- I cannot give a straight answer because I was starving and basically ate it whole. Also they did not have enough servers. It seemed like there was one server who had to do a lot of at the table portioning. By the time he came to ask if everything is okay or if we want shredded cheese for our pasta - we basically already finished our meal. They don't have a set dessert menu yet. I found the dessert "okay". The chocolate peanut butter cake I tried was extremely rich. I feel for the price (we paid about $240 for 3 people) it was not worth it.

First time and can't wait to return ! Patio is lovely but we sat inside at the bar since we didn't have a reservation.. Drinks and bartenders were top notch . Had the kale salad and grouper and both were delicious... we will be back!

Pass on this one. Stopped in only because we were kindly given a gift certificate from family. Looking at the website, we did not see where reservations were required, but when we arrived without a reservation the manager scoffed at us. It was implied we were lucky to receive a cold table in the corner outside as that was the only one available (however, several indoor tables and outdoor tables near heaters were available the entire time we were there). Then, there was a problem with the gift certificate. During dinner, we called the company that the restaurant partners with online to sell the gift certificates, who told us the company keeps a record and should be able to find the gift certificate that was purchased only days prior. The management was uncooperative with this, stating they have no records of this sort. The food was tasty, however very expensive for the portions. For example, two rolls of eggplant was $16. The pizza was well-cooked. Our server was very kind and the supporting staff made sure our food arrived promptly and our plates were cleared promptly as well. They even bagged our takeaway for us. Overall, we were surprised to be met with a level of aristocracy from a restaurant that runs out of a food truck and serves food on plastic plates. There are better options in Naples.

Good food and nice outdoor seating. The inside looks nice but we opt for outdoors when we can. We have been twice since the Med took over this spot. The last visit they did have their full liquor license. The pizza was very good but just a tad much arugula. The second visit was not as good as the first, food wise. Staff is excellent. Note to the owner or manager: The women servers and guests do not want to be touched by you. Every woman i know that worked at a diner has been harassed by their boss. My date and I both noticed this while we were there. ‍

Really nice discovery for the sizzle dining option in Naples, Florida. The escargot was especially tasty, and it was nice being in a place that was rather small and intimate. Fabulous service, we will definitely be back.

We ate there last night. A special $35 three course menu was offered. The main courses were : a 1/2 roasted chicken which was way over cooked! Two people had that with some of the potatoes burned. A salmon was offered - no one had that. A third offering was a steak frites sauce au poivre with truffle fries. Two men had that and one said it was the worst meal he has ever had - the other man did not finish his meat. Tough and chewey! What a waste of our money. The lemon cake was very good but the pistachio got 3 thumbs down Pizza was good. Too bad Service was very good but the waiter is leaving

Just visited Naples for the holidays and was taken to this restaurant by a local. It is beautifully decorated with a sweet back porch complete with fire pits for cool nights. Guitar player was amazing and added to the wonderful ambiance. Food: mussels were amazing, be sure to ask for extra bread for the unbelievably delicious sauce (i would have drank it). Dips were nice with bread sticks. Eggplant was the star for me, such wonderful flavor. Friends had the branzino for 2 in the salt, which I tasted and it was so light and flavorful, but for $82 it was a bit pricey for the amount you get for 2 people. But if you want to splurge, you wouldn't be disappointed on the taste, but I've had just as good for less money in NY. Still, highly recommend

The only reason this a two and not a one is they realized how our evening was a total bomb and comped our drinks and meals. It would take too long to tell of all the miscues and sub standard food. We only went to The Med because our previous visit was so memorable. As an aside it was FREEZING inside? .

This is a new business in Naples--about three months of being open, so I think it's promising it will only go up from here. The service is good, Fernando is friendly and welcoming. As far as drinks go, they only have beer and wine, no cocktails or liquor. I'm not sure if that's just since they're new and don't have a liquor license yet or if that's how they're going to stay. TBD. For food, we started with the med bruschetta. There is four pieces, all of which are different from each other. I tried the zucchini one, along with the heirloom tomato one, both were good, but it wasn't a WOW factor for me or any of my friends. My favorite part of the meal (along with everyone at my table) was the fiocci stuffed with pears. I would come back just for this. Plenty of sauce with it too, and topped with Parmesan cheese. We also got the prosciutto e rucola pizza. There really wasn't much to this besides a lot of arugula and a little prosciutto. It could use some sort of sauce or more cheese--really both. I'd skip this one. What we really came here for was the poulet rouge a La truffle. It's a rotisserie chicken they debone at your table and comes with potatoes. Loved the potatoes! The chicken was a bit of a disappointment to me. For a $58 chicken, I'd hope it's amazing. The truffle flavor is really just on the skin. And other than that, it tasted like your average chicken. For dessert, I'd highly recommend the pistachio and ricotta cake. It's light, not overly sweet, and good flavor. They have a cute outdoor area to sit and also a bocce ball court when it's nice out. It's a place I'd go back to, but not feeling the need to anytime soon.

This place has good food, service, and nice atmosphere! Must have reservations! Friday night was extremely busy! Parking was an issue, so an Uber might be the way to go next time!? Would definitely go again!

According to The Med's website, themednaples.com, they have Social Hour from 3 - 5 p.m. Monday - Sunday; i.e., every day of the week. We arrived at The Med around 4:45 p.m. Friday, 04//06/24, and found most of the restaurant's parking spaces empty, which seemed strange. We entered to find the place likewise empty except for a handful of staff who appeared not to be busy and a man, whom we took to be in charge, sitting at a table. He informed us the restaurant would be opening at 5:00, which was by then only a few minutes hence. We asked about the website's advertised Social Hour from 3:00 - 5:00 and were told "we're not doing that". We weren't offered an apology or asked to take a seat and order a drink -- nothing -- so we left and went up the road to Three60 Market and had a splendid experience. Yes, we arrived a few minutes before The Med's 5:00 p.m. opening time but did so because we relied on information on The Med's own website (not Open Table, Trip Advisor, Yelp or other social media). However, that information didn't faze or register with the individual sitting at the table who essentially told us to come back later. Had we been invited to take a seat, we would have happily done so and looked forward to our meal. Friends who highly recommended The Med raved about the food but we'll probably not be going back to judge for ourselves because of the cavalier lack of hospitality we experienced. We hope The Med's management reads this review and 1) corrects their misleading website and 2) offers their guests the warm welcome and gracious hospitality they expect and deserve.

My gosh! The food! I'm sick to my stomach. I'm trying to be nice but my pasta dish was swimming in a sea of cheese sauce and I'm nauseous. My husbands chicken Milanese was apparently deep fried in the same stale oil that they fried everything else in. Nothing else to say.

What's happened to this place! They were amazing both with the food and service but it was just plain awful last time I went The host (maybe manager) was stationed at the door more engaged in his phone than what was happening in the restaurant. When we left he didn't even say thanks or how were things but kept his head in his phone. The bartender/staff person working at the bar was totally aloof. They advertise a 4 pm happy hour but he sure resented that we were bothering hime. Most places ask if you want another drink before it's over but not him. Not like he was just with only 6 customers in the whole place. I loved this spot and have been there often but until the staff/ management changes I'll go where I feel welcomed.

We have eaten here a few time before. I would say our waiter(Fernando) had too many tables or was just inattentive. We waited for many item and for him to check on us. I also sent a friend that had the same experience with the same waiter.The other staff were fabulous! The lasagna was microwaved...it took 10 minutes to cool to be able to eat it, but the flavor was delicious. I love the outdoor seating and the ambiance. We have had fabulous service the previous time at the bar which would be my choice if I return.

My husband and I have visited The Med three times in the last 10 days! We have brought many of our house guests that have visited from a far and EVERYONE has loved the restaurant! Today we ate Sunday brunch there and the food, ambiance and service was outstanding! They even offer 50% off all bottles of champagne for the brunch. Tommy, one of the owners, is fabulous! He joined us the end of our delicious meal and truly our family felt as if we were in Puglia at an Italian restaurant. We plan on making The Med a regular restaurant in Naples!

I am so glad we discovered this placethe Med has an enthusiastic, hands-on owner, good friendly service, a nice relaxed, atmosphere both inside and outside, and very good food. The lasagna Bolognese was tender and delicious, made with a béchamel sauce instead of the usual ricotta. The Fiocchi stuffed with pears in a Gorgonzola sauce were delicate and very tasty. for me, the standout of the meal was the St. Tropez mussels. They were large, plump, and perfectly cooked; they came in a light but complex sauce, which included saffron, ginger, wine, and cream. Excellent bread which provided for sopping up the remaining sauce. The prices are reasonable for Naples for the most part. I'm looking forward to going back and having their highly recommended mustachio cake for dessert.

Loved the restaurant. Parking could be difficult but that goes for most restaurants in Naples. Try to get outdoors they have it done up very nicely. Enjoyed the food with very good service.

The appetizers were very good. Bruschetta, Greek salad, mussels. The chicken souvlaki entree was dry. I will come back to this restaurant. It was very cute and comfortable. A lot of the patrons were ordering the pizza. I will try that next time.

My favorite restaurant in the Bayshore area of Naples - the ambiance out back is so inviting with the white fringed umbrellas, garden feel and friendly staff. Every dish I have had has been like I was in my Nonna's kitchen. I can never decide if I want the thin crust truffle or margarita pizza with the Greek Salad (A MUST), lasagne bolognese, octopus, arugula salad, branzino or the roasted chicken for two with the lemon potatoes. Share as many dishes as you can because every dish is soooo good. And save room for the homemade desserts - especially the pistachio cake. The wine list is very good and reasonable too. The owner Tommy also will come around and loves getting your feedback on the dishes many are recipes of his Nonna's that he takes the time to cook slowly and with much love. He has an amazing knowledgeable staff who truly provide service with a smile. From the host and hostess, bartender and every server I have ever encountered (I'm there weekly) always feels like I'm at a friends.

Literally a mixed review. Location is iffy, but the interior is charming. Host was unfriendly, almost unpleasant. We split a salad, which was fine but nothing special. My eggplant entree was delicious but small, and my husband's branzino was just okay. As we were still hungry, we ordered Creme Brûlée for dessert. After a 20 min wait the server told us the Creme Brûlée was "still frozen"(!) and she couldn't serve it. We won't hurry back - too many excellent restaurants in Naples to waste time and money here.

Had to cancel because The Med has no overhead coverage when it rains and moving inside is not an option. We go periodically when the weather is nice. Food is above average.

Came for Sizzle which is Restaurant month in September when business is slow. Food was tasty the dish with the pear in it Fiogi very tasty. It was small but maybe because I ordered off the sizzle menu. The Italian lemon cake was moist and considering it was a price fixxe a big piece. Small parking lot, outdoor seating, and an average sized dining room.

Great food. Interesting choices. And very casual setting with indoor and outdoor options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Fun make your own s'mores dessert for the table.

We had great experience. This was our first time to the restaurant, we sat outside first, feeling chilly they brought us inside to a nice round table. I was very impressed with the food. I shared a Lamb shank it was excellent. We also had a pizza, that was very good. I would recommend this Restaurant The Med..you killed it!! Thank you Sandra

Dinner or brunch - food, service and ambiance phenomenal. My usual go to items -start with the mortadella and pistachio pizza the flavors are soo good; the Greek salad, beet tartare and tuna tartare great starters and if you like octopus, please try the octopus carpaccio or modo mio. Love all the pasta but you must try the pear and Gorgonzola stuffed pasta with walnuts save room for the Veal Chop Milanese pounded thin with arugula, the lamb chops, the lemon chicken or bronzino. My advise is to go hungry and share plates. I dine there at least once a week and leave excited to return. The staff is so friendly and everyone is treated like an honored guest. Tommy welcomes you as if you were eating at his home and you truly feel as if you are They recently added brunch - which is the best I've had in Naples - dishes are as good or better than what I just had in Paris. The oueffs in cocotte melts in your mouth, croissants with salmon or avocado and prosciutto and the zucchini toast on the pugliese bread . Wash it all down with a loaded Bloody Mary or some bubbly - the bottles of champagne are half price til 2. And for a great social hour check out Le Bar out back - Cheersand Bon apetito!

Many problems with this place. We went at the end of October. I will just bullet the list: - They had no bread - excuse was the bakery chef did not come to work. - All of the better wines on the menu were out of stock. - I ordered Lasagna and it tasted like Costco's, only saltier. - The lasagna came from one kitchen and my wife's pasta from a food truck out back. No coordination between the servings - I got my portion 20 minutes before her's. - When I asked about this, I was told by the wattress (who seems to collect $20 bad tatoos on her arms) that I did not understand the culture and that you eat when it comes to you. I would stay away from this one!

Super cool vibe both inside and outside. We sat outside and it was perfect. The fire pits, shells at your feet, lights, and funky music made the moment a lasting memory for us. And that's just the ambiance. The food was great! Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. We had the gnocchi and Fiocchi Allo Zola both were perfectly prepared. We can't wait to go back to try more! This looks lace is a must if you have been!
