The Medina Restaurant

I had rabbit meat here for the first time — surprisingly not bad! That said, I probably won’t be rushing to have it again anytime soon 😅. We sat in the garden area, which was a bit warmer and cozier (read: smaller) than the photos had me believe. Still, the staff were lovely, and the fish dish was genuinely delicious. All in all, a fun and memorable experience!

This restaurant was on another level. The building itself is breathtakingly beautiful. The servers are real professionals. The food was nice. Portions were on the smaller side, but the taste balances it out. The rabbit lasagne was the winner, but the pan-fried rabbit was not as great. The arabic platter sharer-starter on the other hand is a must try.

The food was good. I loved the atmosphere and the fact that it's located inside the Mdina. The service was good as the drinks and food came right on time. However, I didn't hear from my waitress after I placed my order. No one offered dessert so I ended up skipping it.

It was an impromptu stop at The Medina for an afternoon bite while strolling the beautiful streets of Mdina. We had a perfect table in the bar area and enjoyed the quiet calm atmosphere with good music. We ordered the Arabic sharing plate and a couple drinks…recommending the prosecco for a light accompaniment. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was wonderful. We were so happy we stopped. It will be a memorable experience from our trip to Malta.

Mdina was an incredible dining experience. The ambience is incredible. Every detail has been attended to. The music is lovely, the silverware is gorgeous, and the atmosphere transports you to another time. The servers were so kind to our two sons. The food was incredible. They even had a kid's menu. Everyone in our family agreed Mdina was one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. Their Michelin Star is well deserved!

I really enjoyed dining at The Medina. It’s such an oasis of calm, in the heart of the bustling Mdina. The food was very good; I especially liked the snail risotto. Service was prompt and attentive. Get a seat in the covered courtyard for best ambiance.

Lovely restaurant to visit if you are visiting Mdina. Super friendly staff in a relaxed setting, would recommend to book in advance. Food was great and they were very accomodating despite us ordering dessert late and into their closing time.

The food is absolutely delicious, with every plate bursting with flavor and made from the freshest ingredients. You can really taste the quality! Service is super friendly and they take very good care of you. The atmosphere is lovely, too. Whether you choose to sit indoors or in their gorgeous garden, it’s the perfect vibe for a laid-back meal. The decor is cozy, and the outdoor space is just stunning with its lush greenery. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for some tasty eats in a beautiful setting!
