"The final new H-E-B restaurant, this one focusing on grilled cheese sandwiches ranging from the Cheese Louise with gouda, gruyere, taleggio, and provolone, to the Heart O’ Texas with chopped brisket, pepper jack cheese, and roasted poblanos on Texas toast. All sandwiches can be served as salads." - Nadia Chaudhury

I had heard that HEB just opened up the small food hall (labeled "Main Streat") inside the HEB Mueller store and I had to go check it out! I love a good grilled cheese sandwich and I selected one of the best I've ever had. It was much more than your standard grilled cheese! I ordered the "English Gentleman" and it consists of roast beef, aged cheddar cheese, Stilton cheese, sherried onions and a bit of horseradish on a seeded sandwich bread. Oh my gosh, I drove all the way home before consuming it, but it was so delicious and truly it was one of those sandwiches where I can't wait to go back to order the exact same thing again and it will be soon! The sandwich is an amazing combination of the tart cheese with a little spice from the horseradish and deliciousness of the roast beef. The seeded bread give it a nice little chew end it honestly was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time! There are other sandwiches on the menu that look very promising, but I think they really hit a homerun with this English Gentleman sandwich! 7/18/21 I was at the HEB Mueller again and I had to try a sandwich from the Meltery. I remember last time I had the roast beef sandwich and it was truly excellent. Sadly, they didn't have the "English Gentleman" sandwich on the menu when I visited, but they did have the equally delicious Heart O'Texas sandwich. I was so happy when I took my first bite into the chopped brisket, jack cheese, crispy onions and excellent roasted poblanos on Texas toast. The sandwich, clearly freshly made, crunchy as I bit into the toasted bread and the flavorful brisket with those delicious poblanos really made the sandwich an excellent choice! They do a great job with their sandwiches and I can't wait to go back and try another one!

Meh, had two sandwiches and spicy pickles, and chips. Chips definitely not worth it. Spicy pickles are good. Cheese Louise I liked, the Rookie I didn't. My sister did like the rookie. Good price, but wouldn't go back.

Friendly service and fast food. Love that you can get a dipping size soup for your sandwich, it was perfect. The plain grilled cheese is a great snack and the brisket grilled cheese is a decent meal.

Something about melted cheese in a sandwich that makes it divine. Great concept although my first choice, The English Gentleman, was not available. The hippy hollow was very tasty, cheesy, and savory. Would recommend this place.

Discovered this place on a whim when looking for a Friday night quick dinner option. Bread wasn't grilled or toasted...bummer. but good.
