"The Melting Pot, a fondue chain, only has one Boston-area location left (it’s in Bedford) following the recent closure of its Framingham franchise, which was located at 92 Worcester Rd. (Route 9)." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Wow! This place is absolutely amazing! I am so impressed by the imenseful flavor of the chicken, veggies and steak and the cheese fondue! The service was excellent not to mention the amazing atmosphere. I truly enjoyed every moment of the fondue experience! **$44.95 per person if you want the full course experience! Highly recommend!!!

We were celebrating our anniversary. Very cozy and intimate place. Definitely a " different dining experience " our waiter was very helpful in guiding us through the process of our dinner. Although it is expensive we had a fun date night out!! Try it!!

To be fair, our server was new - but odd atmosphere. He didn't really know what he was doing, but didn't seem to be trained well. Weird music playing given the ambiance/decor, meat for entrees literally tastes boiled, (because it is) and the salad was pretty sad looking. Cheese fondue was great. I ordered a wine flight that was supposed to be served with each course, but it wasn't but the wine selection was pretty good. Most of the good wines are sold by the bottle only. There are a lot of little add on costs that make this place expensive even with the Groupon that we had. Took forever to eat, burned my tongue but that probably is my fault anyway. Sauces tasted like the they were from a bottle, and they gave us prepackaged spices for stuff. Supposedly it tastes good, but for the price point of the restaurant I found it inappropriate. They also had an obnoxious note on their Groupon that their 'wonderful' customers tip generously and on the entire nondiscounted meal. We did, but this set the bar high for service- and it was not excellent service (despite our servers efforts). It made me not want to tip well at all. Overall, you're better off spending the money for dinner at a steak house or really anywhere else. I'm saying that for the price that we paid with a Groupon which was 43 for two. Id come back just for fondue, but skip the rest. Outrageously expensive for what you're getting.

Truly amazing food experience especially desert they are offering at Melting Pot. But I am giving only one star because of very poor service they have. Staff was not helpful at all. Very very slow service. Not welcoming environment. Felt like cheated when we received a bill. Very rude staff.

The first Melting Pot opened in April of 1975 in Maitland, Fla., just outside of Orlando. It was a cozy, quaint location, and its first menu consisted of just three items: Swiss cheese fondue, beef fondue and a chocolate fondue dessert.

Me and my boyfriend couldn't stop laughing .... once we realized we paid 100 bucks to cook our own food . We order the 4 course for 2 and received enough food for 1 person. It was horrible for our first time experience

It was a painful eating experience that takes near three hours and we leave with every piece of out cloth loaded smell of smoke: probably we should not order European style oil pot, it is both dangerous and exhausting. The interior of the place was full of problem, it was dim, depressed and narrow. When you set customer cooking at their seat, there should be STRONG air exchanging system to eliminate the smoke, there is none at each seat. In a word, the designed romantic V-day date end up like a battle, despite there were rose and ballon everywhere. Besides that, I was extremely not satisfied with the Yin-yang choco pot, two kinds of choco did come in a two section specially designed pot; and the people at the bar/acceptance, we feel ignored while waiting to be seated (watermelon cucumber drink don't worth half the price). Although the waitress was super nice and the food did respect the price.

I was a first timer & I ordered the lemon garlic shrimp, honey orange duck breast and Angus Beef Sirloin & went with the mojo cooking style it was delicious! My favourite from the three was the honey orange duck breast! For desert i choose the Bananas Foster fondue that thing was sooooo good! I'm not a big fan of chocolate but the dulce de leche hit the spot. Great place, good customer service (:
