Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! My wife and I are driving through Grangeville, Idaho, and need to find a place to eat dinner. The few Yelp reviews for The Melting Pot intrigued us, so in we went. My first impression is that this is one of those small town restaurants that takes me back to my childhood. Dark paneling on the walls, booths with big padded bench seats, and a radio playing 70's rock in the background. There is even a bead curtain divider into the hallway that leads to the restroom. Before we are even seated, I whisper to my wife, "I love this place!"
But nevermind the decor, let's get on with the food. It's hard to imagine one kitchen that can turn out Italian, Chinese, and Mexican food (and burgers too), and then do it well. I'm happy to say that The Melting Pot appears to pull it off. My wife had a delicious Italian pesto dish, and I got Mongolian Chicken, which was also really good. I ordered it with a Spicy level of "Hot" (the choices were: Mild, Medium, and Hot), and it was not at all too spicy, but rather had a light kick to it. The veggies tasted fresh, and the chicken was cooked perfectly tender. It was an awesome dinner.
The place is clean, the service is great, and the food was really good! What more can you ask for! I'd like to go back someday, so that we can try other dishes, since the menu was pretty big.

I have the worst thesaurus in the world. It is awful. In fact, it's awful.
