Melting Pot

Yesterday my sisters and I visited to celebrate myself and one of my sister's birthday! It was my first experience at the melting pot and it was amazing! We got there around 5:30pm so it was not too crowded yet and we did make a reservation ahead of time! Our servers name was Michelle and she made the whole experience out of this world! She was so informative, explaining every step to us and even her recommendations for what sauces to use on which foods. She bought out special treats for my sister and I in celebration of our birthday! She was on top of checking in with us and really just made the whole experience amazing! I can't wait to visit again thank you Michelle!

Lauren was amazing! The cheese and chocolate were excellent, as well as the petite filet and garlic pepper steak. We had a wonderful night out as mother and daughter. The chicken and pork were a bit odd in texture, but overall a great experience.

Awesome experience! From the hostess Hannah to our waiter Michelle! It was our first time there and a date night opportunity. Very nice atmosphere. We walked in and they had a nice waiting area and then walked in and were greeted by a very nice hostess. We went on a Thursday evening and were seated immediately. We took our son as they are a child friendly place. They provided our child with a menu and crayons as they had a menus for him. The drinks were good and the experience is amazing. This is not a fast food or hurry and leave place. This is a place that VALUE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE over speed, which is an art in itself. The food was amazing and you take the opportunity to cook your own food at the table which our child assisted with. They enjoyed helping and assisting and engaging with that process. It may seem lengthy for toddlers if you are looking for a young toddler however it is a worth the trip and worth every bite down to the dessert. Again, great place to take family and or go by yourself. Amazing experience. Who knew fondue could be so fun.

This was my first time coming here and Rajani B our waiter made me and my girlfriend feel like we were right at home. The best service I’ve ever gotten and was super helpful with explaining the menu and any questions we had.

The Bartender / Waiter was phenomenal. He told us exactly what he was doing while preparing our dinner guided us through each course and suggested pairings through his knowledge. Not disappointed at all and will return again. This ti.e it won't be 15 years in between.

We had an amazing experience at The Melting Pot, and a huge part of that was our waiter, Chase. It was my first time dining here, and he made the entire experience so enjoyable and easy to navigate. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His recommendations were spot-on, and his energy made the night feel special. Thanks to Chase, this was such a memorable first visit and we will absolutely be back!

Our server, Patrick, was the best part of this whole experience. This was our first time coming here and he is the reason we will be coming back soon. He was super friendly, funny, and he was informed about everything on the menu. I can’t believe we got so lucky to have him as our server tonight! He’s so good that I’m writing this review still at the resteraunt! I recommend this place 110%, and ask for Patrick if you can!!

Phenomenal experience! We got the fiesta cheese, California Salad, mojo cooking style with the Pacific Rim and Steak Lovers entrees and then the Dubai Chocolate fondue for dessert! I didn't taste much pistachio cream so I shouldnt have mixed it up, I think, but besides that it was soo good! Our server was super friendly! The atmosphere was adventurous yet quiet...if that makes sense? Lol we will definitely be back! I had to cut the video into 2, 30 second videos but watch both of them together and that was my experience!

We enjoyed a nice weekday dinner. Service was great and the menu's been updated a bit with more choices and add-ons (Spring 2024) if you haven't visited in a while. The ambiance could use a little refresh but it's definitely still enjoyable.

We had Michelle this evening and she was great. As always the food, wine, and service was excellent. Michelle made it a special evening for us. Thanks for everything.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. It was extremely crowded, and they were very busy, but the service was still on point. We were escorted to our table, and immediately, our server, Anthony, came. He explained the menu and how things worked since it was our first time. We decided to get the 'Complete Fondue Experience for Two' For our cheese, we got: Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Salad: Strawberry Pecan and Cesear Cooking style: MOJO Entree: Steak lovers and land sea Chocolate Fondue: Flaming Turtle Drinks: Pina colada (virgin) Sunshine margarita Maui Thai It was an experience. It was a chilled atmosphere, and I just felt bad for the people around us. They had to deal with my antics. I would come back to try the cast iron, I was not a big fan of my salmon being boiled. It was a lot of food, but I was still hungry for some reason. Come one the days that they are not busy, so you don't wait so long for your food.

I had such a great time here today. I was provided excellent service by Mickey J. Everything was delicious. You really have to pick the right food choices and cooking styles for your liking. I chose the cast iron and asked for some olive oil to base the skillet. Mickey J, brought out some Garlic seasoning, grounded pepper and sea salt, which cooked and seasoned the meat and vegetables perfectly. I felt like an Iron Chef on that grill today lol. The dessert and drinks were great. I will definitely be back!

This was my first time at this restaurant and it was good the. The appetizer with was really good. I think I would wanna try the grilled options for the entree. The dessert fondue was great. Had the turtle one. Would reccomend

Service was horrible on Valentine's Day night. Nothing that was in the package the waiter forgot. He keep bringing the wrong pot to the table. He just wasn't attentive and I'm not sure if it was because we was two women but he also nva gave us roses. Like everyone eles in the place received. I like the VA location better.

Food - good - all the courses Service was so awful that my husband and I had to laugh about it on the way home. We came for my birthday dinner, which was noted in the reservation and my husband reminded the waitress of when we ordered drinks. As drinks were ordered, she said the beer he wanted wasn't available but she wasn't 100%, so he picked a second choice, too. We also each ordered a soda. When we ordered, we also asked for extra teriyaki sauce w the meats because we love it and didn't want to make her run an extra trip. My alcoholic drink comes and you guessed it, no drink for my husband or sodas for either of us. Finally with the second course our waitress stops by and we ask about his drink, she forgot but will put it in now. By the third course his drink arrives. Our sodas never did arrive. Third course (meats) was brought to us by the manager and no extra sauce was there. No biggie, we asked him for it instead. Neither of them ends up bringing the sauce, and we finally find our waitress halfway through the course to ask for more sauce. It finally arrived when we were already done with the meats. Final course was dessert, and the manager brings over the wrong chocolate than we ordered. Finally he comes back with the one we ordered. We were really bummed that there was no recognition of my bday - we put it in the res and my husband reminded the waitress at top of meal. We come here on bdays almost annually and they've always been recognized before. I want to note that it didn't seem to be the waitress or managers fault, more so that there just were more guests than the staff could handle. Both waitress and manager were nice and trying their best, but the service was truly abysmal that it brought down the entire special meal and makes us question if we will keep celebrating birthdays here.

Restaurant Week was the perfect time to enjoy the full fondue experience. The grill option for our steak, chicken, shrimp and ravioli was surprisingly delicious. Hands down best part of dinner was our server Charlotte! Kind, accommodating, prompt non-intrusive service with a smile--ask for her at your next visit.

I really love the food and everything at the Melting Pot in Annapolis, however I was dissatisfied with my waiter, Kurtis M with 2 things. It was Valentines Day and we were suppose to be offered champagne, which was included in our price for dinner. He never offered the drink to us nor did I receive my rose. I understand it was a busy night but I saw everyone else receiving a rose and their champagne. I feel as though I deserve a refund. I enjoy the Melting Pot so very much. Have been going here for years. Came for a special occasion and we could not believe how poor the service was - even our kids commented. All the waitstaff looked miserable. Great food but not sure if we will back.

Food as good as usual but slow service dampened the evening. The table wasn't ready until about 15 minutes after our reservation, and in hindsight, that foreshadowed the rest of the meal. The layout of this MP was similar to other locations I've been to, where the restaurant space is made up of alcoves with clusters of tables rather than one big open space, this building just noticeably older. Our waiter promptly brought us waters once seated, but the mixed drinks took a solid 20 minutes to arrive. We were almost finished with the cheese fondue by then. We also did not have utensils at our table so once the cheese was mixed and ready for us, we got to stare at it for another 2 minutes before we were able to dig in. No one followed up after that, and the empty cheese bowl then sat finished for 10 minutes while we waited for our waiter to come by and take the chocolate fondue order. Then, another 10 minutes later, our waiter came by again to take the chocolate order and we reminded that we already had placed it. The chocolate was brought soon after that, but it was between room temp and lukewarm after waiting a few minutes so we turned up the burner temperature ourselves and stirred and waited until it was warm. Had one of these delays happened I would not fault them, but all of the waiting compiled was disappointing. I think our poor waiter was tired, but I'm also willing to bet that the alcove style layout of the place combined with tall backed booths does not allow line of sight for waiters to keep tabs on each of their tables like other restaurants. At the end of the meal we were brought a card reader directly to the table to pay. We did not ask for a receipt and I did not ask my boyfriend what the total charge was until after we left, but based on the total before tax and tip I suspect our drinks had been left off the tab. This wasn't mentioned to us, so I'm not sure whether it was intentional or accidental. Either way, it seemed to balance the evening out. I love fondue and MP, but I wouldn't return to this location.

If there were 5 more stars, my review would be 10 stars. I booked a reservation and our table was ready on time. The food and service was awesome. Our waiter was very attentive and explained the cooking process to my friend very well. I love the way he made recommendations on cooking style. It helps when they are knowledgeable. I really love the choice of dinner for 2 experience. It makes the process easy of deciding what to chose from. In this very quaint setting, you can appreciate the privacy of the seating arrangements. There is also celebratory theme nights and land & sea items to chose from. Treat yourself to the melting pot, they'll love the experience

Carolina was the best server I ever had at any restaurant, she was very attentive and made sure we enjoyed everything that was served. The food was to die for everything was delicious and well prepared. It's a lot of food so make sure you have enough room for all the food you going to eat. We decided to do the 4 course meal for 2. I tell you after we were done Stuffed was the best way to describe it.

Melting pot is a unique restaurant especially given the other restaurants in the Annapolis area. The food was really good, especially the fondue style of food. The only thing with this restaurant is that you should not expect to sit idle while your food is served, you will be the one doing most of the cooking at the table! You are served raw product and given instructions on how to properly cook it in the group ordered oil that is heated at the table. The food is still really delicious with the food being fresh and seasoned well. Only thing with Melting pot is that you should expect to be there a longtime, ours was a 3 and a half hour dining experience for our party of 6. Also, it is very pricey and truthfully is not really worth the price to go there more than once. It's definitely worth going at least once for the experience but not a place we would go back regularly.

Despite the renovation since we were last there in the Spring, it's hard to fully recommend this restaurant which used to be a favorite. The food is still amazing, but the service has gone waaaaay down hill. We've twice had Andrew as our server for meals for a group of 4 adults and we've found the service slow and the prep lacking and slopping. If you go, make sure you request not to sit in Andrew's section.

Failed Successfully: Yesterday my wife and I visited The Melting Pot for our 5 year anniversary dinner. When we arrived the front staff was very nice, and one of the hostess seated us at a booth in the rear. On the way she asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, and we informed her that it was our anniversary. To which she says she'd let our server know (more to come on this later on in the review). We sat looking at the menu for a few minutes before server arrived, and he was very nice. He was quick to build a rapport wth us, and it was safe to say that my wife and I liked him immediately. From there he took our drink orders, and explained to process for us because it was our first time. We opted for the unlimited entrees package, and our server was very helpful with recommendations ( all of which turned out fantastic). Afterwards our drinks came followed shortly by the cheese fondue portion of the meal which was delicious. Here is where things go left: After we were seated, there was a party of 6 seated across from us, a party of about 4 behind them, and a party of maybe 4 behind us. All within a 5 minute span. We were all sharing the same server, and we were roughly all eating on the same time frame. Thats 16 people spread over 4 tables, sat at roughly the same time. This is the melting pot, so it's not just look over the menu and pic what you want, and both our table and 4 out of the 6 people at the table across from us were first timers. We finished out cheese fondue, and our second round of drinks. The entree portion came out, and we were waiting to order more drinks but out server never came back for like 30 minutes. Another person had actually brought our food to the table, but nobody came back to check on us. The lady to the rear started making comments at her table, and so I could tell she was having the same issues. Maybe about 5 minutes later I heard her speaking harshly to our server. I left the table to use the restroom and when I returned our server was back at the 6 person table (he had mainly been bouncing back and forth from that table and the one behind them). I asked him if everything was good, or if he had been removed as the server from our table. He informed me that he WAS still our server, but he had requested help from other staff members, because he had so much on his hands at the moment. We briefly spoke long enough for me to put in our second entree, but things continued to go downhill afterwards. I then sat back down with my wife, and waited a few more minutes before I got up and went to speak to someone at the front. I informed the people at the front that our server (Jarell - Juh-Rell) i'm not sure of the spelling, so sorry, was doing a great job at first, but he's swamped. The lady behind us had apparently gotten into a spat with the manager before I walked up, and had stormed out. This kid was just being completely overwhelmed, and it wasn't fair at all. The table of 6 was putting in order after order of drinks, and asking questions, having to change things, and then their food came out missing items, and he was going back and forth to correct mistakes. They were drunk before the entrees got there, and really taking up a lot of time. When he got away the table behind them were doing the same. He really wasn't ignoring us, he just didn't have the time to serve us and the help that he said he requested didn't come. He had mentioned to us that he hadn't been there long, but even if he had been having 4 tables back to back in the same section (sat at the same time) was a bit much. One server even made a rude comment to him as he passed by telling him that he was in his way, or "in his blind spot." The whole time Jarell kept a friendly demeanor, and just tried to get everything done. Afterwards he came back to our table to apologize, but we told him there was no need for it. We mentioned to him that we were here for our 5 year anniversary, and he was surprised, and said congratulations. Which meant what the hostess that sat us definitely HAD NOT told him about our special occasion as she said she would when she sat us. Anyways, He got back to the great service that he started with, and we finished our visit on a good note. I honestly cannot say enough good things about our server. He was dealt a bad hand last night, but handled it with a level of professionalism that I don't think i've ever seen displayed by anyone in the food service industry, and definitely not by someone so young. As far as the food, We enjoyed the Bourbon bacon cheddar cheese fondue (a lot). The California salad was bomb. We got the premium endless entrees with the mojo broth (so much flavor), and the flaming turtle chocolate fondue was epic. Towards the end we just started throwing everything in the pot and dividing it up. We used the search and rescue spoon to get everything out. All in all 45 minutes out of our 3 hours was rough, but we still enjoyed our evening.

I have been coming since 2015 and I absolutely love this place. On par with Fujis steak house this high end restaurant requires some slight customer participation but at the same time provides the intimate setting and ambiance for a lovely evening. We came here to celebrate two birthdays, and very much enjoyed the unique experience that the melting pot represents. Our waiter, Kris, made the experience a very special one for both young boys. Since they had never participated in a fondue dinner, it was great to be able to present such a novel experience for their special days. The food was very good. The only prohibition is the cost of the evening. I would advise management to do their best to keep their prices down, as it limits the number of times that medium income folks like us can participate in this fun dinner.

Did not get a server for 30 minutes, even told someone about it and still didn't get served for another 10 minutes and eventually left

This was an good experience my daughter want to go here for her birthday... it's a great atmosphere for families and adds bonding time preparing your food together . I also purchased a flight of wine which was very nice portions. We did the three course meal which came with dessert at the end she also got a birthday surprise.. The salmon and chicken were my favorite.

We took advantage of Annapolis' restaurant week by going to their lunch special. For 15.95 we got cheese fondue, a salad, AND dessert fondue! Crazy! Food: the spinach artichoke fondue was amazing, I'd recommend it to anyone. The broccoli and the bread bits worked the best with this fondue. Pro-tip: the servers can bring back more of your favorite dippers free of charge, so be sure to ask for some before they leave the table. The orchard salad was also great but ask for dressing on the side, it was a little over poured on my friend's salad. The S'mores fondue had a beautiful aesthetic appeal to it, especially watching the marshmallow burn in front of you. The waffle and strawberries were our favorite dippers in this one. The chocolate was almost too strong and wouldn't recommend those one to people who aren't crazy for milk chocolate. Service: make reservations ahead of time!! Very accommodating! Quick service and very willing to answer questions for any newcomers. Atmosphere: perfect for date nights. The booths are set up to be very secluded feeling and intimate. They're also big enough for double dates if you prefer that. The lighting is almost too dark to the point of making diners feel sleepy, so careful with your choice of wine that day!

Coming from Server background I understand well the difficulties and stresses that come with serving. At the Melting Pot I have found that while the private experience is lovely interacting with the servers provides an even better time. Our server Michael took time out of his busy Saturday night to go more than beyond out of his way for us whether it was explanations, extra drinks, or sauces. I believe that people often carry such high expectations for servers at The Melting Pot but they are humans and can't do everything. I hope that everyone comes in with a little patience because unlike any other place the server's take time for you and not because they need to but because they want to. My husband and I had one of the best nights of our lives because of everything Michael did for us. He made us feel like a part of the family. If you ever have Michael as your server ask him anything and especially about music or sports. I can't wait to come back in a couple of months and to have him as our server!!!

Service was amazing! Our server was attentive and answered allll of our questions. She made great recommendations. The food was good and It was so much that we couldn't finish It all. I wish we could have taken the dip home. Everything was flavorful, tender and was worth the drive from where I was coming from.

Came here for Sunday dinner and the family loved it! This was our first time and the menu was a bit confusing but our waiter definitely cleared it all up for us. We chose the 4 course meal, which was highly recommended! The 4 course allows you to try a good bit of the menu and personally I see why it's recommended! If you're interested in receiving a new restaurant experience, I highly recommend this spot!

Came for dinner on a Wednesday, called ahead at 5 to see the availability and was told I could walk in. Arrived at 6pm and there wasn't a single person eating or seated or outside, the staff was hanging out at the bar/host stand and when I asked if I could be seated he said they were too busy and fully booked, I needed a reservation and if I wanted to wait he could get me in 30 minutes before closing, a 2.5 hour wait for a place that was completely empty. Yeah I was excited to come here as I've been fascinated with trying this place and haven't for so many years... I'll take my business elsewhere cause I'm foodie and this place is well, crap.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Reservations is best for this place especially on the weekends. Great and polite service. The facility very clean with nice lighting. Great place to celebrate birthdays or a friendly girls night out. They have seAting at the bar and booth options. Parking (free) is shared with another business but not difficult to find a spot. The dessert is so worth it! Don't get me wrong, I have yet to eat something I don't like there but the dessert is delicious!!! Will be back again!

I went here with another couple. The other couple loved this place... said it was her fav restaurant. I like my meals with more substance. Dipping bread, apples, veggies, meat and fruit is cute but not really a meal thing. This place is def for the atmosphere amd not really the taste. I hated their happy hour location. It is literally right when you walk in the door. The drinks were good... esp the ying and yang. I wouldn't suggest coming here but if someone wanted to i wldnt put up a fight. It is just blah... nothing special and nothing really negative about the place either.

Service is going down hill to the point where I'm going to take my special occasions to another Melting Pot location. Food was good, though, so that's why I rated 3 stars. We were seated slightly early, and when the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything, we said it was for our daughter's birthday. I also put that on the Open Table reservation. All of that got ignored. Waiter never asked why we were there. No celebration. At first, the waiter came out timely and brought out drinks and cheese fondue timely. Salads and entrees were timely. But then he ghosted us. Never brought the extra sauces we asked for, until the very end. Never checked on drinks for refills. I couldn't call a manager over for help because I never saw one. After 20 minutes of staring at empty plates and empty glasses, I went to the hostess stand to find our waiter. I'm sorry, but when I'm paying $250 for a meal, I do not expect to have to have to hunt down the waiter to finish taking the order so we can get out of there. As it was, we had not yet placed the chocolate fondue order, and we had already exceeded the reservation time (2 hours) solely because of our inattentive waiter.

Holy cow, if you want to eat over a 3 hour period with dirty and bent silverware, then pay for overpriced food that you cook yourself, go for it. Service was fine but we won't be back.

15 years ago I went to The Melting Pot on a first date. She eventually became my wife and on the anniversary of our first date we always return to The Melting Pot. It is THE PERFECT place to take a date. You have to cook your own food so it creates great opportunity to talk. Isn't that the point of going on a date? Highly recommended for date night. My recommendation is, there are several apps that have "fondue timers". Get one and use it. It is amazing how much over cooking any food items can ruin the flavor. The food here is generally fantastic. We always leave very well fed and satisfied. I reccomend requesting apple slices to go with your chocolate dessert.

Between a 3/4 star for me. Food- Historically this has been my favorite restaurant to go to, especially for my birthday. Nothing beats the cheese fondue in my opinion, I go specifically for this. The chocolate is also great for dessert lovers. I appreciate the variety of skewer foods for the chocolate (marshmellow, poundcake, rice crispy treats etc). However over time I've realized the main course fondue just doesn't cut it for me. I'm not impressed with the cooking flavors or meats (fish and veggies in my case) although theres a decent anount of sauces on the side to choose from. It's far too expensive for the quality. I only get cheese and chocolate when I go now and it cuts the cost down significantly. Atmosphere- Very dim lit, romantic, secluded. Good for date nights or special occasions. After being a few times I've become a little bored with the interior, theres not much going on visually. Service- Is always great. They definitely excel with this part of the experience. Servers are knowledgeable of the food and always friendly.

This is a wonderful destination for special events, like anniversaries, birthdays, or date nights (trust me, that becomes a special event once you have a kid). A little niche, perhaps, but I'd say there is a need for a fondue restaurant in the world. I think they nail the concept here, if not at the cost of... well... the cost! It is pricey to be sure, but I think the experience overall makes it worthwhile. First of all, how many spots do you know where you can actually get fondue these days? Even at the fanciest little spots, the best most can muster is a candle under a ceramic pot filled with crab dip or the like. The full fondue concepts needs a restaurant like The Melting Pot. What do you get for the price, though? Well, if you play your cards right, quite a bit! The four course experience includes cheese, salad, entrée, and dessert for about $34 minimum, and no more than $45 (based on the last visit, and the base menu pricing). That's about $10 per course, which actually evens out nicely. The cheese is probably why we keep going back. There is something about cheese that just draws us in. I love it. I'm an unabashed cheese fanatic. All four courses should be dipped in cheese. But, that's just me. The salads are usually very well conceived, if not a bit old hat at this point. Still, they are quite fresh and tasty, a great interlude after the heavy fromage course. I've read reviews about the quality of meats for the entrée. Again, I think this depends heavily on what you order. At this location, they have the Annapolis Big Night Out, which is what we just had. For a decent price ($43.50 per person), you get six different items to enjoy: marinated filet, BBQ-seasoned pork tenderloin, Old Bay chicken, Key West shrimp, lobster tail, and mushroom sachettes (basically purse-shaped ravioli). There are about three of each item (only two of the sachette), but it is more than enough to fill you up. We usually start to flag towards the end and worry about having room for dessert. Speaking of which, the chocolate fondue is all the rage, from what the others are saying. I tend to agree, though see earlier ravings of my own about cheese. Still, the flavors are pretty basic, nothing too outrageous, and very delicious. Is it the best quality chocolate you've ever had? Likely not, but it is still quality, and it is a perfect way to end the meal. On our last visit with the Annapolis Big Night Out, we had: * French Onion Soup Cheese Fondue - A perfect flavor combination! All the best parts (cheese) about a solid French onion soup. * California and Spinach salads - I prefer the latter with the raspberry vinegarette, but the classic Cali with fresh strawberries is pretty tasty. * B.N.O. meat selection - See above for details; all the meats were perfectly seasoned as to compliment and not overpower the meat. Cooking style: Coq au vin, always! (Spend the extra $5.95 for this cooking style, trust me...) * Chocolate Turtle - Great combination. Very tempting. Very... turtle. We didn't have room to get very far by this point, though. They did offer to box it up, which was thoughtful. Overall, I'm okay spending this much on special occasions, and the décor and ambiance make it worthwhile. It is a quiet and intimate setting, so, parents, please leave your noisy out-of-control beauties at Chuck E. Cheese. This experience calls for a refined approach. Maybe casual in appearance of course, but take your time to cook your food, and you will appreciate the meal that much more.

We had not been to this location for quite a while, but we decided to stop by last night and have a drink and some cheese fondue in the bar.....I ordered the Yin and Yang Martini.....way too much chunky chocolate on top.....then the cheese.....never got to the right temp......the induction burner base just was not working correctly....I could have dealt with that, but the whole time we were sitting there, the hostess station was packed with employees who were just cackling like a mother hen. It was Very rude and extremely unprofessional. That used to be a nice restaurant.....I'll never go there again!!!!

Went there yesterday for dinner. It was very good and it was a different way of doing things. Our waitress was outstanding and the food was delicious!!

This is not my first time to Melting Pot. This chain holds a place in my heart. I love fondue and I love their menu. We had a lovely dinner at this location. The service is spot on; attentive and friendly. We started the evening with the fiesta cheese appetizer. It came with veggies, apples, assorted bread and tortilla chips. It was hot, melty cheese with a nice kick. What's not to love? We ordered the Fondue delight for dinner. It came with veggies, filet, lobster, shrimp, chicken and a mushroom "purse". It was perfect with our chosen broth, the mojo. For dessert, we ordered the s'more option. It was divine! Milk chocolate with marshmallow set a flame and then topped with graham crackers. I wish I could take it home with me! There is a sweet addition option that adds cheesecake, cream puffs rolled gaufrettes and berries. If you have room, add it! This location is wonderful, give them a try.

We've been a fan of melting pot for years and loved going to the restaurant in Columbia and Annapolis. However, I cannot recommend their COVID to go service. The portions are much smaller than what is in the restaurants. Fortunately, the food is still as good as it was. $20 each for "up to 2" portions of cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. The cheese fondue was maybe a cup. The chocolate fondue was even smaller, maybe 6 oz. On the plus side, the dippers were plentiful, even if there wasn't nearly enough fondue to dip them into.

We had a group of 7, we made a reservation since it was going to be on a Friday night, and for a birthday. We arrived just prior to our reservation and were promptly seated. Linda our waitress arrived just after, took our drink order allowing us time to go over our choices, the drinks arrived shortly after and we placed our order with some help from Linda, everything arrived in a timely manner, the food was great, we had a great time. Linda was pleasant and attentive making sure drinks never went empty, and that we were well taken care of. This was our first visit here and will definitely not be our last. High marks for the service, food and experience here. We all definitely recommend The Melting Pot.

We went there Saturday July 25th. I had accidently made our reservation for Sunday and meant to select Saturday. They graciously seated us. It was our first time there and the menu seemed a bit confusing but Andrew, our server was great and fun! We had an awesome dinner and loved the interactive experience. We needed a seriously Gluten free menu and got it without sacrificing taste! We had Gluten free bread, Andrew was very helpful with the selections, everthing tasted great, we were not rushed, it was a great experience! Highly recommend. Oh, and ask for Andrew!

Went here for a birthday dinner with a group of 12 and had an amazing time. James was our server and he was super patient and helpful when it came to helping out a bunch of newbies. The menu and process can be pretty overwhelming when you've never been here before and James did the very best at helping us out. For fondue we had the bacon cheddar, the spinach artichoke and the fiesta. Everyone enjoyed their entrees cooked in mojo (James explained how to cook and cooking times) and for dessert we had cookies and creme, cookie butter and s'mores (definitely the crowd favorite). Although this location is pretty out of the way for me (the VA locations are closer) I would certainly recommend this franchise and James to anyone looking for an interesting take on dinner.

I'm just a novice fondue junkie. Once upon a time I had a kit at home, but burned the chocolate one too many times so, nowadayds, I'm more than happy to have someone else to clean the dishes. This was a busy spot for dinner. I'd definitely advise a reservation for the dinner hour. My group had 4 courses and were here a few hours. Most tables are booth style with the cook top built in though I did see bar seating with mini cook tops as well. We started with the bacon beer cheese fondue. It was ah-may-zing! We kept it simple with the regular dippers; various breads and pretzel chunks. Their skewers are sturdy for dunking and you pay per person for each course. The dippers are unlimited so if you run out of cheese, order more cheese. We only needed one pot of cheese for 3 people and we were dunkin' our lives away! I also had a lovely strawberry spinach salad which was flavorful and fresh. Its blue cheese crumbles were a great addition and provided a really nice contrast to the strawberry. Next was the mojo cooking broth for our shrimp and pot stickers. Check out the pictures of the menu as it gets tricky pricing this out. The waitress advises you on cooking times for meat. Use that timer app on your phone. I also enjoyed a Melting Pot Moscow Mule. Very nice and it came in a mini copper melting pot. Interestingly, they allow you to purchase the copper melting pot if you wish. Finally, we enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate fondue. Sinfully smooth. The dippers for this one consisted of fresh fruit, marshmallows, rice krispy treats and cheesecake bites. All good. Seriously delicious and seriously caloric! I will be back...maybe not to this location, but certainly to one in the chain.

Highly recommend trying Melting pot if you never been before. Our server Jack was Amazing. He was so helpful in explaining how it all worked because it's a lot for your First time. I came here last night for my birthday. We got the Fiesta cheese which was so gooood. Then we chose the Coq Au Vin which was recommended to pair really well with the filet mignon and teriyaki steaks we ordered. We let Jack choose our dessert which I really don't think you could go wrong with anything, white chocolate banana and Caramel. Such a fun date night:) It was my birthday so he brought me out chocolate covered strawberries to take home so nice!!!

The Management is TERRIBLE. Unprofessional condescending attitude. I used to come in 2-3 times a year. I'll never be back.

Yelp reviews I had a cousins outing with my cousins. I made reservations at The Melting Pot in Annapolis for 8:15pm. We arrived on time for our reservation and was told that we had a 15-20 minute wait, which was Irritating to me because I was excited to eat here. I haven't eaten here in years and was excited to come back. The bartender was pretty attentive. She Made sure we were ok at the bar. Our hostess Devin sat us. We requested to have two cooking styles. Devin made it happen. He heard us ask why we were sat with on cooking style and he came and changed us! I thought that that was remarkable of him he defiantly aimed to please. Tyler our waitress was warm and welcoming he explained the menu very well to us. We ordered the Whiskey Thistle from the bar..... which was ok it had Jameson, white peach, fresh raspberries, lemon and sprite in it it taste like medicine it was kinda ok! However after I mixed the drink up it was amazing to me! Tyler is three weeks into this job and he is doing outstanding he took his time to explain everything and that's is what made the experience a lot better! Check Tyler out at The Melting Pot in Annapolis is did a great job tonight!

Much better night here. The food was excellent and the service was as well. The spinach artichoke fondue dip was amazing, especially with the pretzel bread. The Mojo cooking style is delicious. The veggies take on the flavor very well. We got the 4 course meal this time so we were able to indulge in chocolate fondue. The cookies and cream marshmallow dream was a very good choice. I definitely hope we get service this great next time.

Open and seating are private Booths. The wait staff was perfect. Each one asking if there was anything they could do... Perfect. Definitely suggest bringing an appetite because the food was not only delicious but abundant. Can't wait to return.

Outstanding food and dining experience! This is my go-to place when I want to impress guests. Service is excellent. I always get the three course meal so we have the full experience: Cheese Fondu Appetizer, Meat and Seafood Fondu Entree, and Chocolate Fondu desert. My guests alway depart satisfied and impressed.

I got totally and completely CHOCOLATE WASTED in this place!!!! The Melting Pot is my new favorite restaurant!!! I could kick myself for taking so long to come to this restaurant, but I was going off of complaints from others. The main complaints we heard were about cooking your own food, but my b/f and I ignored the naysayers and stepped out on a limb and went for dinner the other night. We were utterly impressed!!! This isn't just dinner, it's an "EXPERIENCE!" This is the perfect place for a special occasion and definitely an excellent spot for a romantic dinner. The booths are very private and the lighting is dimmed for a romantic vibe. I made reservations, but it wasn't overflowing with people that night, so it was plenty of vacant tables for walk in's. When I made reservations I was asked if we were celebrating anything special and we were, it was 2 year dating anniversary. When we came in, the hostess gave us a Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff (Insert Mushy Awwws here). How sweet was that?!?! I dove right in and ordered the MP Sangria, which I highly recommend. Since we were both fondue virgins, our server, Kathy took her time explaining all of the possible options and the most bang for our buck. We opted for the 4 course experience (cheese fondue, salad of your choice, meat selection and dessert). We ordered the Spinach Artichoke Cheese Fondue and it was soooo delicious! Kathy made it table side for us and we dipped fresh bread, apples and veggies into it. For our salads, I chose the Caesar and he chose the House. They were also delish, but not too many places can mess up a salad. For the main course we chose the Coq Au Vin cooking style (Burgundy wine infused with fresh herbs and spices) for our meat selection, which was The Classic. The Classic includes, shrimp, BBQ pork medallion, herb crusted chicken breast and teriyaki marinated sirloin, with potatoes, mushrooms and all types of herbs and spices. After you choose the cooking style you prefer, you place as many pieces of meat on a skewer poker, (kind of reminds you of a pitch fork) and place it in the fondue pot to cook for a few minutes. Every piece of meat we ate was well seasoned and cooked perfectly...I mean, jump up and smack your mother kind of good! Notice I said your mother, because my mother doesn't play that! The Melting Pot truly saved the best for last because our dessert.......LORD JESUS IT'S A FIRE, was out of this world good! We ordered the Flaming Turtle chocolate fondue and to say that I wanted to fill my empty Sangria glass up with this chocolate and down it like a Tequila shot is and understatement. IT WAS HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!!! (I just had to take a deep breath just thinking about this chocolate!!!) The Flaming Turtle consists of milk chocolate, caramel and candied pecans flambéed tableside. MP served it with cheesecake, rice crispies treats, strawberries, bananas, oreo covered marshmallows, graham cracker covered marshmallows, brownies and pound cake, but like I said, my glass would've been perfectly fine. I even received a bottle of free Wine and Garlic seasoning that is exclusive to MP. Sure this place isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't want to come here with a big group because it has a more intimate appeal, in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and helpful and our experience here was better than we could've imagined. THIS PLACE IS AWESOMESAUCE or shall I say AWESOMECHOCOLATESAUCE!!!
