The Memory at On On Hotel

An unforgettable stay in the heart of Old Town! I had a truly wonderful experience at The Memory at On On Hotel stay on 1-3/ March 2026. The room layout is excellent—very well-proportioned with a super comfy bed, a spacious bathroom, and even a cozy sofa to lounge on. The location is unbeatable; you can easily walk in a loop around Phuket Old Town, and there’s a vibrant night market right in front of the hotel with plenty of delicious local food. What made my stay even more special was the staff. Everyone was so lovely and greeted me with a warm smile every time I walked in and out. A huge shout-out to Tong and Ice at the cafe! Even though I was only there briefly while waiting for my room, they were incredibly friendly and gave me some great local travel tips. I’m so impressed and will definitely be back again!

Stayed in old town for three nights at the On On. Feels like you are transported back into time. Love the decor and charm the hotel has. The staff are attentive and kind especially Alan and Gambeer. We stayed in 204 the Leo room and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable for our stay. Close by to everything walking distance. 45-50 min drive to beaches

Love the location of this hotel. It is in such a great walkable spot in old town. Surrounded by eateries, marts and cafes. It is rustic and feels like you've gone back in time. The room is so clean and I believe it's been redone. There is a mini split which cools the room with AC. My hudband and I stayed here for 3nights/4days. The first night we had a bit of a bug issues. But we literally bathed ourself with the pink mosquito spray which got rid of all of them. The walls are a tad bit thin (understandable bc it's an old building) I guess that's the trade off for being in such a prime location. The staff are so kind and sweet.

A charming hotel in an ideal location, perfect for our stay. We were here for 2 nights as we were passing through to our next destination and found the service and location to be just what we needed. The decorations and ambience felt like an escape from the town. We were steps from some great restaurants and shops. The room itself was on the smaller side but a very comfy bed and nice amenities such as a free mini bar made up for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, check in and check out was pleasant. The only knocks I would give it is the breakfast is a bit limited, only offering small snacks and a discount at the attached cafe. And the walls are a bit thin, our room was next to a main staircase so often hear people coming and going in. But was never woken up by this noise. Overall I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it for anyone who wants a unique stay in a busy part of town.

I stayed at the memory hotel in December 2019 whilst on holiday in Phuket. Best trip ever. I had a wonderful time and this hotel did not disappoint. Clean, spacious room, convenient location right in the town centre and most importantly the customer service was exceptional. The staff were overly friendly and polite, in fact on my last day I was overwhelmed with emotion and the staff expressed their sorrow in my departure. I left the hotel in tears because I was so sad I was leaving. That’s how good my stay was. Memory hotel is ideal for those travelling on a budget. It’s reasonably priced and offers everything you would get from a five star hotel.

Such a beautiful hotel, the service is amazing. Everyone is so kind, calm and welcoming. The rooms are relaxing with huge beds and well decorated. The walls are a little thin so you do hear a bit of noise but it's not the kind that would keep you up at night. The cafe by the side is lovely and bright, great for an easy morning breakfast. Good coffee and good croissants. Twi and Aniie were extremely helpful and attentive.

Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms, very friendly staff, and a truly unique, stunning atmosphere. There’s no breakfast, which is a pity, but the café next door is a good alternative for coffee and croissants. Downsides for us were the air conditioning (quite loud and not really cold) and the shower with low water pressure. Great for a short stay of 1–2 nights — wouldn’t recommend it for longer.

Stayed recently with my family at The Memory at On On Hotel. The property has an old world charm, it is lovely with a lot of antiques and is very quaint. So you get all the modern amenities in an old world setting. What tops everything is the service level of the team, fantastic is not enough to describe the warmth, authenticity and customer first mind set they all have. Special thanks to Nathan, Penny, Gigi and Philip who ensured we felt welcomed, taken care of and comfortable throughout our stay. Despite the high season and the hotel being full, the team didn't hurry us and were patient with our questions and validated our suggestions of places to go and things to do. The location is amazing, walkable to all the sights around Phuket Old Town and easy access to many great restaurants. Thank you to the team for everything. we cannot wait to be back again.
