We booked the afternoon tea. This place exceeded my expectations! Wonderful Julia arranged the ideal afternoon tea! She was polite, hospitable and very attentive especially for our little baby. Baby crowled everywhere and none were mind. The atmosphere here is an elegant cabinet. We took a lot of pictures. Julia also did a several ones for us. Nobody rushed us. We stayed there as much as we liked. Definitely recommend this place for afternoon tea if you like a small tea room with perfect service!

The best high/afternoon tea you will get anywhere! The atmosphere was next level, very intimate, quiet, and relaxed. The staff are exceptional and the food was simply delicious. This has to be the best hidden gem in london!

A truly *perfect* hotel experience, with some of the warmest, most personal service we have ever received! We stayed in July/August for five nights, dined in the restaurant and also had afternoon tea. There are so many things to celebrate about this gem of a property -- a generous room upgrade, fantastic breakfast in the beautiful Cheneston's, above-and-beyond turndown service -- but one fun anecdote in particular: my son mentioned to one of the staff members that his birthday fell during our trip and we would be taking a steam train outing to celebrate. We returned home on his birthday evening to a birthday cake, a steam train toy, and a very sweet personalized birthday card signed by 15 of the staff. My son was so overjoyed and felt really special! We've barely departed but our whole family cannot wait to return. We love staying in different properties when we return to cities, but in London we will absolutely come back to the Milestone!

Outstanding is the word I can think of. Amazing Victorian style hotel with 5 star hospitality. A couple of minor suggestions. Would be even better stay if bathrooms would have vent fan, room would have enough charging outlets mainly on both sides of bed and a microwave. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay!

There was a small mishap in my reservation, but the staff was so accommodating and kind, I was never worried about my stay there. Truly a 5-star hotel in my opinion. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and kind. The room was amazing…luxurious, beautiful, posh. Turndown service every evening with candies left on the bed. As a woman traveling alone, they made me feel safe, welcome, and looked after. Champagne afternoon tea service was amazing!! Be prepared to eat a lot. Tea was fantastic…I miss it already. Dinner at Chenestons was ok. The food was well prepared, but the choices on the menu weren’t anything I was excited about. Cocktails in the lounge were the finest! Angelo is an amazing mixologist; incredibly creative and knowledgeable in his craft. Their smoked old fashioned is a must have. And ask Claire to make a hot toddy…you won’t be disappointed! The breakfast was equally amazing as the tea service. I had the smoked salmon scrambled eggs on toast. So delicious! The hotel is right across from Hyde Park which has numerous walking paths for a leisurely stroll after breakfast or afternoon tea. If it’s a rainy day, their doorman will set you up with one of their umbrellas. The concierge staff was very helpful and kind. One man asked for reservations for somewhere that served beef Wellington for him and his wife. The concierge called around, found a restaurant, checked on available reservations, let the guest know, and booked it for him. They'll call taxis for you, set up tours, etc. Excellent customer service!

A fantastic stay, not only a hotel but an experience. For once we are not in a international, tasteless hotel but a realy british style hotel. I loved the decoration, i really enjoyed the quality of the employee very polite and always here to help with a slight "old british style" which i really enjoyed. A big thanks to the team.

The Milestone hotel was my home during Notting Hill Carnival 2022. I‘m glad I found this small jewel, which is as luxurious as it is cozy. My room was very beautiful, clean and tidy. The daily cleaning was very attentive and thorough. The interior is stylish and beautiful The 24/7 room service with delicous dishes saved me sometimes when I got back hungry. Next time I hope to explore more of the culinary possibilities as they look promising, but during Carnival I was often just exhausted when returning or too late. The Spa is basic. There is a Finnish sauna and a pool with a counter-current system. It‘s definitely not a wellness hotel, but completely ok to relax a bit. Thanks to the exceptional service, they managed to organise a wonderful sports massage on a Sunday at very short notice for a very limited time slot. This was more that you can expect and it really saved me so I was fit for the Monday parade. The best thing at the end. The exceptionally friendly and attentive service, which I have never experienced in this way before combined with a big dash of British charm. Thanks to everybody there and I really hope to return soon. I can absolutely recommend the Milestone.

We had drinks at the Milestone hotel bar and the experience was top notch. The mixologists Angelo and Lilio made the experience extremely special. Their knowledge and passion for cocktails is superb. We'll be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Milestone Hotel and Residence, and I must say it has been more than a delightful experience. The service was nothing short of exceptional, embodying the epitome of British hospitality. The room is always clean impeccably, and they probably clean the room twice a day. They went above and beyond to fold our clothes! On a daily basis, we also found sweet goodies whenever we head back to our hotel room. The impeccable service extends to the dining and tea experiences, where the culinary delights are a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. What sets The Milestone apart is not just its opulent décor or prime location, but the people who work tirelessly to create a memorable stay. I had an excellent late afternoon tea experience here last Saturday. It was lovely. The valet were warm and welcoming and we were easily shown to our table for four where two of our party were already waiting and had just ordered their tea. Due to traffic, we were running behind, but the staff were easygoing and professional about it, no worries at all. We had the standard tea and cakes with no alcohol (I don't drink) and enjoyed it. Sumptuous and delish. Carb coma, here I come! We had several finger sandwiches, several delicious pastries, and fresh-made scones with jam and clotted cream. Everything was fresh and tasted so wonderful. Their tea selection was also large and I chose something a bit different recommended to me by our server which was dark like Earl Gray but provided a bit different flavor. It's not cheap - starting at 60 pounds per person - but it's a wonderful experience and one where you will be taken excellent care of. The location of this hotel is very near to the palace and it's in a lovely part of town that's easily walkable to parks and shopping.

Service: 5 stars Afternoon Tea food: 4 stars Very good service from the time we stepped into the hotel until we left. I did not stay at the hotel but I did have Afternoon Tea there. I had prepaid for 2 but I neglected to bring a printed copy of my voucher. I had access to all the info online but they really needed the printed copy. The manager was very accommodating and helped me grab screen shots and emailed it to him. I really appreciated his help. We showed up about 45 mins early and the previous sitting had left so they quickly cleaned up and set up our table. The sandwiches were tasty and I gobbled them up. I am generally not a fan of scones so I skipped them since I was getting full. The desserts were only average tasting. Most were a bit too sweet and heavy. For example, the creams tasted like butter cream instead of whipped cream. Only one of the 6 desserts was particularly good. Portions were big but they do offer to pack up left overs to take home. Overall, we had a very nice experience there. Other tables seemed to be enjoying their Afternoon Tea as well.

I would give this hotel 100 stars if I could. The greatest hotel I've ever been to. The service is better than best. Everyone here was so helpful and welcoming to us even though it was our first time in theMy sister had been searching for the flying saucers candy in every store we passed but no luck. We asked the concierge where we would find them and they told us not to worry. When we got back to our room at the end of the day we found them in a mason jar for our enjoyment. Best surprise ever. The breakfast and the afternoon tea is so lovely. Would 1000% stay here again

While traveling in London, I made a reservation at The Milestone for afternoon tea. Specifically our reservation was for the Chelsea Flower Show afternoon tea. It was an overall great experience, my sister and I enjoy afternoon tea and have been trying various places whenever we get a chance. The service was great, everyone was very kind and would check-in when we needed anything. Particularly one server was amazing, she chatted with us a little and was a delight, I wish I could remember her name to give her a specific shout out. I was excited to see we were seated in the room which looked like a library, it was the exact vibe I love. The tea was great, I tried the New Vithanakande Tea Estate tea, which was amazing. I liked the options for the tea, I ordered the vegetarian afternoon tea and my sister did the classic version. As an aside, I thought they had options for everyone i.e. gluten-free tea and even a halal tea option. The sandwiches were great, I particularly enjoyed the Carrot, Cashew & Coriander Slaw and the Mature Cheddar Cheese, Tomato & Basil Chutney sandwich. In particular, I appreciated that they waited to bring the scones out when you were ready for them so they would be warm and fresh. They were probably some of the best scones I've had at tea. The sweets were also great, pretty standard but delicious.

This is a grand old hotel. Frome the first day we walked in, it felt friendly. Everyone was friendly and fun. Steve (the Doorman), Steve (concierge), Dino, Renato, Tim (the Doorman), Grant, Fran, and Claire were some of the funnest. The afternoon tea was grand, and their signature sandwich was very tasty. Compliments to the Chef. This is one of the places that we will try to come back to.

In my visits to London, I have experienced a variety of afternoon teas from luxury department stores to casual tea rooms, a tea river cruise and more in between, and I can say without a doubt that The Milestone is my absolute favorite afternoon tea in all of London! It is cozy, traditional, delicious and marked by excellent service. On each visit, we've had the pleasure of being seated in the coziest corner of the small tea room at a quaint and comfortable table for two. Although we didn't go for champagne this time, they do have a variety of afternoon tea selections, including champagne. Since it was our arrival day, I just went for the Apple and Cinnamon tea (a more unique choice) and was so pleasantly surprised with how tasty it was! They first bring out the yummiest selection of traditional sandwiches (the round chicken with almonds is the BEST) and sweet treats. Once you've reached a stopping point, they bring your warm raisin and plane scones with clotted cream and jam. Your tea is regularly replenished throughout the meal and hot water is provided for topping off your pot. The room does tend to be quite quiet (like a library) which is worth noting and considering depending on your party.

The Milestone is literally my favorite hotel that I have ever stayed in. It is impossible to put the quality of their customer service and the beauty of their grounds into words. They truly treat their guests like royalty. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a perfect London experience. It is certainly pricey, but I found the higher prices to be worth the many benefits that come with staying at the Milestone. They also run pricing promotions throughout the year! Pros: -There were countless memorable aspects of our stay at the Milestone, but if I had to pick, I would say that the employees at the hotel were the most memorable part of our vacation. They were so welcoming and personable. They were also so happy to do anything to help make our vacation more memorable. They constantly left fun gifts and surprises in our room. For example, on the day we went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour, we returned to find a Harry Potter sign on our door and a cake in our room that had Harry Potter decorations on it. They left fresh scones and jam every night in the room. We were always excited to return to our room to see what they had left for us. -GORGEOUS suites. Each suite is decorated differently. They are all beautiful and elegant. -Customer service was exemplary. We never had to ask for anything twice. Most of the time, they provided assistance before we even had to ask for it. -Location: Right across the street from Kensington Palace & Gardens, beautiful view, walking distance from Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and many other attractions. It is also located close to many different train stations and tube stops. You can get anywhere from the hotel with ease. -Chenestons Hotel Restaurant: Delicious! We had the most wonderful English breakfast every morning. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was out of this world. -Hotel Bar/Conservatory: Both rooms were decorated in English antiques. They were beautifully decorated with fascinating items. If you stay at the hotel, be sure to get a tour upon your arrival! -Airport Transfer available, upon request -Tea time in the hotel -Complimentary welcome cocktails! Cons: For the first time ever, I cannot even list one item that could be improved upon by the hotel. Our experience was absolutely perfect. When I return to London, I will absolutely be staying at the Milestone again.

Best. Hotel. Ever. My wife and I decided to have our honeymoon in London, and we bought a package that included a stay here at the Milestone Hotel. Everybody there was extremely friendly, and their breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were excellent. The employees also provided excellent suggestions. My wife and I felt so pampered, and they were like this to all their guests. The location was convenient as well. The interior design of the hotel was so splendid and comfortable. Their immaculate service was the highlight though. We loved it. Thank you Milestone Hotel for the wonderful stay.

Wow wow wow. What can I even say about the Milestone Hotel. This was by far the best hotel experience we have ever had. Upon check-in, they gave us a tour of the hotel for about 20 mins, telling us about all of the history which was very cool in itself. Our room was smaller but very nice and it has premium everything. The elevators, stairs, every common area, super nice. They also give all guest any free drink upon check-in which is also cool. This hotel is also right off of the Underground which is easy too. The dedicated 24 hour concierge here is amazing too, there are a few staff that do this job and all are excellent at recommending things. They can also book things for you at a discount and avoid the lines which is also amazing. They booked us tickets to a show and tickets to Westminster Abbey. I am not even sure how to give this hotel any higher of a review. It was just amazing overall.

The definition of class. This is a cool hotel with great service as well. We came for afternoon tea and sat in the back room. The scones and pastries were amazing. Everything was just top quality. I am not a big tea drinker but my fiancee said the tea was great too. I would probably say the scones were the highlight of the afternoon. Yes it is a little pricey but you pay for the quality. Definitely come here if you want to enjoy a nice afternoon tea!

I had afternoon tea here and fell absolutely in love with this place. I haven't had afternoon tea many places so perhaps this is all normal/standard, but there was soooo much food. I wish I could have taken some of it home, but I had to walk around more later and didn't want to carry it. I upgraded to the champagne version for only £10 more. Turns out it was a good deal because I ordered an additional glass later and it was £20 more. The scones at the end were not necessary but were so good! The service was very good as well. All of the staff were super polite.

This hotel was top notch. Its in a great location and offers wonderful service. They took great care of us. We had several welcome gifts of fruits, tea and cookies in our room when we arrived. Our room was nicely decorated with old art, a comfy bed and a large bathroom. The room was quiet and comfortable. We also got a nice tour of the hotel on our way to our room. The butler explained the history of the hotel which is always fun to hear. Our package included breakfast in their restaurant. It was a nice spread of meats, cheese, breads, pastries, cereals and other breakfast items. You could also order some hot dishes off the menu. They also serve afternoon tea which looked very nice. We also had drinks in the bar which is decorated like a horse barn. Nice atmosphere. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions when we needed them. The concierge gave us some great tips on tours and was able to make us a reservation for a private tour of Windsor. Definitely a great hotel with wonderful service, great location across the street from Kensington Palace and Gardens.

By Gods Grace, I was 1 of 5 lucky winners on the Today show picked to attend the Royal wedding in London, and to stay at the breathtaking, exceptional customers service, and overall Gem . The head of the opulent 56 all suite luxury hotel is Andrew... He always greeted you with the biggest smile, warmest hugs, and loudest laughs. There never was a no during a stay, simply more so "let make that happen". We experience only the best of the best... From Caviar sandwich's and English Tea at High Noon, Triple Chocolate Ganache, with raspberry mousse on the side. etc etc etc... Wake up calls came with Fresh hot tea , shortbread and a sweet note... One of the very personal touches that I love about this place is all the fresh flower... Most of all the flowers are Red , but you do get some pink rose served with your tea. I cant tell Andrew, Sunny, Steve at the front door!!! Lorena and anyone else , that I have forgot their name. Thank you enough for the bottom of my heart, this trip was more then I could have possibly dreamed!!! Also the Highlight off my trip was Sabering Champagne bottle...Yup I DID it...

Review for Tea: We enjoyed a couple afternoon teas during our trip and tea at the Milestone was definitely our favorite. The tea room was quaint and intimate and the staff was so kind and friendly! We're not overly familiar with tea as we are from the U.S. but our servers were so nice and helpful in explaining the process and helping us pick a tea. Their recommendations were wonderful! The one area I felt could be improved were the scones (they were quite bland) but the rest of the food was very tasty. I would highly recommend afternoon tea at the milestone and will make it a regular stop on any future trips to London.

Upon arriving for tea they took our jackets and we waited in the lobby. It was very nice. The tea itself wasn't exactly what I expected. I was told for my reservation that my daughter, who got the princess tea, was supposed to get to decorate cupcakes and receive an apron. Neither of those happened. However she did enjoy the peanut butter finger sandwich, the scone and desserts. Our tea was good as well. I wish I had known they were going to bring out scones after the sandwiches and desserts , as we were too full to eat anymore at that point. They were very nice to box them up for us so we could enjoy later.

This review is purely for the afternoon tea. Overall a nice experience in a traditional & intimate setting. However, for the price I was expecting higher quality food. The sandwiches were mostly bland (other than the speciality chicken which was great). My sister commented that the scones are better from Sainsburys! We were located on a table by the lit fire which was nice at first but very quickly became too hot and uncomfortable. The sofa setting is cosy but as a group of 4 we were quite far from the others on the opposite sofa and had to speak quite loudly to all be able to have the same conversation which wasn't ideal in such a small room as we didn't want to disrupt other tables. Having tried both the afternoon tea here and at the Royal Garden Hotel over the road I'm afraid that one wins on all counts. While the traditional setting adds a nice sense of occasion it's not worth the extra money .

Fantastic hotel! I don't know where to start.... This hotel is a shinning jewel in the middle of London. Very British, yet very intimate. The rooms are extraordinary! The general manager gave us a tour of the property. Each room has a distinctly different decor. And our room was fantastic. Extraordinarily friendly and attentive staff. And the bar is not to be missed. Try their "smoked" Old Fashioned!!! Great hotel. You'll love it!

We flew to London the second day vaccinated tourists were allowed in without quarantine. However, if we had to quarantine at the Milestone, we would have been in heaven. Tim greeted us on the street and welcomed us back to England and to the hotel. This is our FAVORITE place to stay in London. The hotel has wonderful, old world charm and the staff really do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Once inside, Nitin made sure we had a wonderful room stocked with everything we could need for the week we were there. We stayed in the recently refurbished 'Erte' room which is on the 4th floor and overlooks Kensington Gardens. You can't get much better than that! The first thing brought to us was the coffee/tea box with a kettle, pot, press, coffee and tea ... and replenished every time someone came to the room. Each morning we had a sumptuous breakfast brought to us. I did miss the morning buffet of pastries and breakfast meats and cheeses, but that's to be expected given the pandemic. Grant ensured we had perfect service and our coffee cups were never empty. He took great care to give us tips each day about what we had planned and we will give his regards to Emma Jean(?) at Henry's in Coronado. Our kids and grandkids live just down the street and are well known by Steve and Tim as they pass them every day on the way to school. It was nice to know our family is so warmly embraced by the staff. The gym is by appointment only right now but Nitin went the extra mile to make sure we could get in most anytime we wanted. It was odd to have the entire spa to myself when I was there! Andrew: Nitin needs a raise and a promotion!!! He really goes the extra mile. Our favorite place in the hotel is, of course, the bar and solarium. Each night after a large meal with the family out on the town we stopped in to have our last coffee and, usually, some ice cream! Even though not on the menu, the chef was happy to create a hot fudge Sunday for us every night we wanted one. We had not been in the UK since December 2019 so this trip was filled with joy to see our kids and grandkids again and to be welcomed back to the Milestone. We certainly look forward to our next stay with them!!!

My wife and I travel a lot and always try to stay in high-end hotels, known for great service. We recently stayed at the Milestone Hotel for a trip to London for Wimbledon. The Milestone Hotel is easily the most service oriented hotel, where we have ever stayed. From the minute that you arrive at the airport, and a driver from the hotel picks you up and brings you to the hotel, until the day we checked out of the hotel and were taken to the train station for a trip up to Scotland, we experienced nothing but first-class treatment. All of their staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to do everything in their power to take care of our needs and requests. The hotel rooms are luxurious, the amenities are wonderful and the location is terrific. We ate breakfast at the hotel, several mornings, and were never disappointed. All of the appointments here are first-rate and the service is second to none.

What a beautiful room and place. The hot fresh scones were very yummy and the sandwiches are pretty good. The staff was very kind and attentive from the minute you enter the hotel door until you finished. No wonder they won the 2017 tea award. Overall very good experience.

The afternoon tea is absolutely fantastic, especially sandwiches and scones. Services are exceptional. Worth a visit if you're a big fan of afternoon tea.

London and Afternoon Tea - there are many places to go, but not many I think are living up to their promises and you don't want to book a month in advanced to get a table in Ritz. With the Milestone hotel you do not have to wait that long. This small Hotel is a hidden gem at High Street Kensington, at the beginning of Hyde Park. None of its rooms look the same - therefore a very exclusive hotel. There is always an English porter dressed in his uniform holding the door for you. You have to ask for the lecture room, a little room resembling a typical English aristocratic living room. There are books on a shelves and a fireplace, which is light during winter months. I suggest you aim to be there around 4pm, this is when the English Afternoon session begins. This tradition originates from the colony time, when aristocratic English ladies invented an other social event during the day to drink some exclusive Assam tea from India. With a traditional afternoon tea there comes sandwiches and fresh scones (sweet). Ask the waiters about their tea assortment - I normally go for a smoky tea. Oh, and there is an other thing to remember with afternoon teas - the milk is put in first! This place is recommend before attending an opera at the Royal Albert Hall. There will be a long wait before you go to dinner afterwards. If you are lucky, there will be a pianist playeing in the background - this hotel has soul and character.

The hotel was is in convenient location and the room we had was a studio suite on a corner and was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. The front desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff seemed very helpful and pleasant, however the concierge desk was one of the least helpful I have ever experienced anywhere. On Thursday morning we visited the concierge desk with our written down flight info, our names seats and the international numbers to the airline and had card on file and asked a member of the concierge staff to check us in but call to upgrade our seats first. Upon returning in the late afternoon Thursday no one had contacted us to notify us if it was done. The next morning Friday I called the concierge and asked about it and no one seemed to know anything about it. The person I talked to offered to re take the info again and take care of it. 4 hours later nothing was done. He told me the Delta website was down and they could not do anything over the telephone as per a Delta representative. I decided we would have to cancel our last day of sightseeing and stay in our room and do this ourselves and after waiting on the phone was able to contact Delta make the upgrade and there was not a problem with the internet that prevented them from doing so. Two days in a row I asked for help with an issue which is normally is handled by the concierge desk at any hotel and the request was basically ignored even with a generous tip to the man on Thursday. I will say I was approached by manager Pranav Ahuja and he emailed as well and was very apologetic and acknowledged the lack of service and offered a private car to the airport but we already had one arranged for us. On Tuesday we asked them to make a reservation at a restaurant and I showed them the name of the restaurant and address in my phone and when we got there no reservation. The reservation he had made was for the casual restaurant next door Maze which is not the picture I showed him but owned by the same chef. I was able to tip someone and get in but these overlooked details are important at a Hotel of this stature.

We absolutely loved London and The Milestone Hotel. From the doorman Steve and many others to the concierge "G" and Jose. The waiters, bartenders and the housekeepers. Afternoon tea was great. Everything about our stay there was fantastic. Thanks being so kind to us. I just really felt that they cared about our experience and was there to make it as enjoyable as possible. Pure class. We booked the children's Prince/Princess tea for my 3.5 year old and adult afternoon champagne tea for the rest of the group. What a special, perfect afternoon. Children are made to feel very special and welcomed. The proximity to Kensington Palace and the Princess Diana Memorial Playground is perfect for a walk and children's playtime after a sugar-filled tea :)

This boutique hotel offers elegant decor, impeccable customer service and wonderfully decorated and comfortable rooms. I stayed here for nine days and didn't want to leave! I enjoyed stopping in the Stables Bar after work for what the bartender called a "proper" drink. I also enjoyed sitting in the Park Lounge sipping on a Baileys by the fireplace upon returning from dinner and before retiring for the night. All of the public areas are small, elegant and inviting. The location is great - across the street from Kensington Gardens so was ideal for going on a morning stroll. Within walking distance to Harrods Knightsbridge and many wonderful shops, restaurants and pubs. Also, conveniently located near High Street Kensington tube station. All of the staff I encountered during my stay were polite, attentive and at YOUR service. The Milestone is a first class hotel in every way.

Simply the best hotel experience we have ever encountered. It truly made the highlight of our entire European trip. From the first moment of checking in, to the tour from the butler, the tea service, the chef prepared meals or the delicious breakfasts. This place is the true definition of first class service and their reputation clearly is accurate. We certainly look forward to coming back to the Milestone and visiting as soon as possible during our next UK trip. Special hat tip the the doorman, Steven. He is definitely one of the many hotel gems and added that extra flare to the stay.

We were staying in an apartment half a block away on a recent trip to London, and the very first time we passed the hotel, my boyfriend and I remarked upon how absolutely adorable it was - a British porter outside in uniform, picturesque ivy- strewn gate, brick building. We looked up the hotel online to see that its ranked #2 out of all the hotels in London, and while there wasn't much information on the website regarding Stables, the bar, we planned to drop by at some point, for a cocktail. This is the type of place where when we dropped by to inquire regarding at what time the bar would close, they assured us that if they knew we were coming, they would stay open for our visit. Sadly, we only made it by once, but the bartender was great - extraordinarily professional yet friendly, and obviously extremely attentive (especially as we were the only patrons in the main bar, although apparently the piano room was full, so not sure how much attention he needs to pay to that room, or whether it is serviced by another individual). I got the raspberry cosmo, albeit I'm not a huge regular cosmo fan, and it didn't disappoint. Strong, refreshing, with a raspberry garnish. I ordered another as it was so fantastic (and as there weren't too many vodka options on the cocktail menu), and my boyfriend sampled the red wine and lemon drop type cocktail (liked both). The seating area is very cozy, with equestrian type decor, and they - as most places in London - are already booking for Christmas and New Years dinner services. My only regret is that we weren't able to return on our last night, as the bartender assured us he would have canapes awaiting us, as well as a special cocktail created on our behalf! Also, from the website, the hotel rooms are priced extremely reasonably, and each has a distinct character. Highly recommended for a cozy and personal trip to London - or at least the bar!

The Milestone is like waking up in Downton Abbey where your staff is thinking about your happiness, health, comfort and satisfaction. The staff is amazing. My travel buddies and I still talk about their breakfast. The Milestone was one of the highlights of our London visit and we plan to return!

Had afternoon tea and it had it ups and downs. Service took 30 minutes to begin with a reservation, this was hard because our child is type 1 diabetic and must eat within certain times of his insulin injections, so he had to eat a sugar sachet and take a second injection due to the wait. The children's teas was cute and well done--the children loved the kid friendly sandwiches and enjoyed all the desserts, including our adult ones--we had to share almost all. The quality of the food and portions were excellent. The female server we started with disappeared and a gentleman checked on us when he could. She did return and help the children make cupcakes, which the kids immensely enjoyed. She was to bring out a second tea with the desserts (per her suggestion), but did not. The gentleman did notice the boys were still hungry and brought them another plate of sandwiches. Also, a service fee was added without mention when reservation was made. Ups and downs.

I love this place! Each room is designed differently with exquisite decor. The staff are knowledgable and friendly. Go for a drink of a bite to eat!

An amazing hotel experience!!! The Milestone staff goes above and beyond. They took note of and remembered every detail we mentioned including that my daughter liked the Beatles. They even sent a personalized dessert to our room for her. They truly treated us like family and welcomed us. Our room was gorgeous and I still dream about the scones we got every night. I can't imagine a better experience anywhere!!!

This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed out. It's not just the room, it's the service, it's how the staff engage and operate, it's the little 'extras' along the way (think complimentary evening turn-down service, and mini scones delivered to your room and oh-so-much more). They are catering to your experience and go out of their way to make sure you are looked after. It's a high class hotel in every sense - beautifully detailed inside and out. Even though our room wasn't large it had every convenience we needed, including international travel adapters, complimentary bottled water, and even high speed wifi internet. The restaurant was exceptional. We only had breakfast at the hotel (too busy sight seeing) but the food was cooked to perfection. There were many choices of buffet style breakfast foods, as well as cooked breakfasts - all very tasty and prepared to your taste - not to mention exceptional service! This experience simply enhanced our holiday - well done to The Milestone staff!

This hotel delivers above and beyond on service. It's a smaller boutique place, just across the street from Kensington garden. The pampering was unbelievable-we were greeted by everyone throughout our stay. Their entire staff goes out of their way to treat you well, from their porters, to their front desk, concierge desk, housekeeping, and restaurant. One afternoon we forgot and left out our "do not disturb" placard on the door- housekeeping came by late afternoon and asked us when we would like for them to come back and service the room (seriously who does that ...I've stayed at lots of places and if you miss out on maid service, well, no one has ever come back to actually follow-up on it!) Every evening we had bed turndown service with sweet treats (on our last night of stay, we got scones with cream and jam!). Every night we had candles lit in our bathroom, and every morning we had our cafe lattes delivered with our newspaper. They have s great traditional afternoon tea with a crazy variety of treats to enjoy. Wow! This place will spoil you for other hotels

Stayed here whilst I was holidaying with my husband in London. Great rooms and staff were very nice. Decor was very English (great fire place) and facilities were reheat you would expect from a hotel like this. The stables bar also was a real treat.. Would highly recommend.

A true 5 star hotel dedicated to service! A delightful small hotel with the ambiance of a exclusive London club. We had a lovely high tea and they flawlessly accommodated our request for vegan tea sandwiches and desserts, we had a delicious and memorable afternoon. Thank you Milestone!
