Let me just start by saying... Reegan was the real MVP of this breakfast game The best waitress we've had in a long time -- friendly, funny, and somehow wise beyond her 18 years. Like, girl, have you been here before and it was like she's lived a few lifetimes. Because her energy was giving Old Soul with Extra Sass. I loved her Ombeonce (that's Beyoncé-level ambiance, for those who don't know).
Now, the food -- well... let's just say it was trying. I ordered the El' Jefe omelet, but apparently, the boss called in sick because it was thin, dry, and my chorizo was playing hide-and-seek (and winning). I think it ran off to Cafe Brazil -- because if you've ever had their chorizo omelet, you know, you know -- their chorizo omelet is still running the game.
The peppermint white chocolate mocha, though? Chef's kiss. I'd come back just for that. The pancakes were okay -- not bad, not amazing, but at least they showed up with melted butter and warm syrup. Points for effort!
The place itself is super cozy, we were seated right away, and the vibes were just right for a lazy weekend breakfast. I'm not giving up on The Mill -- I'll be back to try one of Reegan's suggestions, because if she's working, I know I'm in for a good time (even if my omelet isn't).
