The Milleridge Inn

I attended a pre Mother’s Day brunch event held for the ladies of LICOA on May 4, 2025. The event catered to approximately 80 people in my party and it was run decidedly very well. The ambiance of the facility was quite unique, and lent a fine old Long Island country flair. It was rather classy if I must say! The food… oh the food…. It was absolutely 💯 delicious! They’re were several, at least two omelette stations, a cold cheese and salad spread, nice assortment of fresh cut fruits, another generous area of hot lunches serving a divine lamb stew, yummy chicken franchise, hot pasta dishes, an array of cold and hot seafood such as shrimp cocktail, king crab legs, oysters and the works! The desert spread included a variety of sliced cakes, cannoli, pastries, brownies, cookies, cobblers and pies etc. Needless to say I sampled the goodies and it did not disappoint my tastebuds! This fine catering facility, The Milleridge Inn here on Long Island has for sure made my list of superb, well run establishments. I’ll certainly be coming back here very soon! The staff were attentive, friendly and very accommodating. For such a large crowd in my event, taking into consideration that there was also another event, a baby shower being held in another section, we never felt neglected in service in any way. Parking… there was plenty and more than ample parking. The lot is huge. As for wheelchair accessibility, it surely is, I saw a ramp when you entered the front doors so that makes for easy entry with a wheelchair. This facility is also family and kid friendly. I highly recommend The Milleridge Inn for all of your catering needs! great food in a historic setting with wonderful service, we ate here after going to the events at the haunted village and truly enjoyed our meal

Went for a friends Christmas party, some of my party had an issue at the bar, being overcharged for happy hour drinks, service was nice but slow, Carolers to request from our table and sang, very festive. I got a breadless Brigade Eggplant sandwich. It was fine but portion was small. Someone else got the price fixed Yankee Pot Roast dinner which came with soup and dessert. It was tasty as was the bowl of mushroom soup.

Super cute and very festive. The best part was all the peacocks.

My party of 3 ordered a variety of food for dinner & each one was happy with their meal. One problem- the bread is so delicious I started to get full. Similar to when I was in Italy. The atmosphere is very festive with the Milleridge village right there to shop for the holidays or get something from the delicious bakery. The service was good but I felt that the waitress came over too many times & I felt that she was trying to get us out. Now there were plenty of tables available including a table for 4 which we were at. The restaurant was not ready to close either so I don’t understand her behavior unless she felt that was giving extra special service. Nevertheless we had a great time & I will be back there in a little over a month with my friends again (I live in Suffolk County or I would go more often) I highly recommend this restaurant & particularly around the holidays with all the decorations.

We had a lovely time at the Milleridge Inn. It was our first time dining at the restaurant and it was perfect. The restaurant is decorated for the holidays and is absolutely charming. If you decide to visit take note of all the vintage decor throughout the restaurant. There's so many great pieces. The Food was excellent! My salad was enormous, I had to take half of it home. We really enjoyed the food and plan to come back again to try out some of their other items. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. She was very familiar with the property and we enjoyed chatting with her about the property. There is a beautiful little village that is over the top with decorations for the holidays. I couldn't believe how beautifully decorated it was. We even caught the Peacocks sleeping in the trees. There is a bakery, General Store, Christmas Store, Ice Cream Parlor, and a little bar and grill in the village. The bar and grill is offering some holiday events with the Grinch which looks pretty cool. It was really nice to stroll through and browse the shops. There are kids games, activities, a train ride, and games also available, but thats only open on the weekends.

Went in late November, it was all decorated for Christmas which I loved, very cozy, was able to sit in front of fireplace. They give you a warm cinnamon bread before your meal which was amazing! I ordered the French onion soup which had so much cheese just the way I like it, we shared a roast sandwich to share and I’m glad we did because it was big with fries. They also have a bar and sitting area. Big parking lot, they had a Christmas village but only open on weekends which was a shame, I would have loved to get a coffee and pastry shop around and get some unique gifts☹️

I had reservations for over a month for Sunday brunch. A few days ago I got a phone call saying that they have to close and they are canceling my reservation. I called the next business day and I got the corporate office and they said that there is nobody at the Miller Ridge Inn on Mondays. I left a message and I got a call back today and the girl was really rude. I asked her if they would be able to give us a voucher for lunch since they canceled my brunch on very short notice. It was actually my anniversary and that's how we were going to celebrate and obviously we can't do that now... the girl who spoke to me on the phone was quite rude and she says "no vouchers I gave you a courtesy phone call" I said wow, a courtesy phone call very nice. I will never ever go back to that establishment. Very disappointing. Not a good way to do business !!! UPDATE 10/19/25 I reached out via their website as the owner asked, it's been weeks and no response. Bad business.

A fun, and free family outing. During the holidays The Milleridge Inn comes to life with a holiday display walk through. The event is free, and anyone can visit. If you have small kids, this is perfect for them. There's a cute little train to drives around the lot, the kids would love it. The shops around the walk through are heavily lit up and stocked with all things holidays. The area is not big, and displays are close to one another, expect a crow and expect the stand on lines for shops and even to get pictures with the tree and the artificial Santa's. Over all, it's a nice little outing, it may take about 15-20 min to walk through if you don't stop at every display to admire or take some pics.

Skip the main restaurant and go to the holiday shops. He went at 4 o'clock on a Friday evening to avoid the crowds. I knew the food was going to be so so but I didn't expect the service to be abysmal. It turns out that not only was the service invisible. The food was terrible. The crab cakes with shrimp and scallops were the only redeeming factor. Something as simple as pot roast had to be returned and replated.

2 Family visiting for my birthday. Reservations at 7. Get seated right away. Waiter comes over after 5 minutes & takes our drink order. We wait 30 minutes for our drinks. Place our food order and no lie, it comes out in 5 minutes. Lukewarm if not cold. Pretty sure it was sitting under a heatlamp. We start talking to the table near us and they basically said their food was cold & inedible. They got to the manager before us. Complained but he didn't seem too concerned. Another manager came over and listened to the daughter, who was very well spoken. Ends up comping their entire bill. Very disappointing birthday meal & will not return. Took our food home to hopefully enjoy it hot.

Had not been here in decades... back home on LI Thanksgiving Day and went back and forth for weeks to book or not, based on the reviews... Had one of the latest seatings for the dinner ( non buffet). We had some service issues, but they were resolved. Luis was excellent as our server: personal and friendly. Supervisor Pepe was effective and helpful at remedying our situation. Food was fantastic ( and lots of leftovers!). My memories of the building don't match what it looks like today, but what a stunning venue! A must see.. Thank you for a great evening and possibly a new tradition.

I hadn't been to The Milleridge Inn since I was a little girl. It's a historical establishment that offers food, cocktails, host's weddings and other events, and has a cute shopping village. Now that it's winter it's decorated festively for the holiday season. We were serenaded by a trio of female carolers dressed up in old fashioned attire - a nice touch. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. My friend and I didn't like our cocktails so she recommended another one that we both loved. We both enjoyed our meals - I had a burger and my friend had steak - both tasty and cooked exactly how we wanted them. We were too full for dessert, but the delicious cinnamon bread they serve at the beginning actually did the trick! This place is great and to bring the kids, for a date, for a large group, or just to meet up with a friend or two. It suits a special occasion or just any evening out.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, service was good, simply menu with classic American comfort dishes, food was very good. The restaurant has a classic historical beauty that you won't find anywhere else that makes it special. The fact that it's been around for as long as it has speaks for itself.

What a money grab.!!! On site Milleridge Restaurants must have a daily delivery from Restaurant Depot. Pre-processed servings were obviously micro wave "stuff" with poor quality and little taste. A clue is watch out when they over flow your plate with fires, and veggies and salads. I remember when there was actual chef cooked food there but not any more. If you have kids, you can watch them play on old inflated houses etc. Of course the large tent that house these bacteria laden objects is UNHEATED....so watch how your breath fogs the air. Oh...and there is a money charge for this "treat". Avoid the igloo rip off.....my server "served" at least 6-8 "I apologize" over stuff that was not right, didn't work, or was just weird. Heat was minimal, outside generator was too close, and just uncomfortable. Ice water when its 30 degrees outside?....give me a break! The once welcoming Village was loaded with super over priced junk from overseas. Stuff was pretty but reeked with price rip off , money gouge. But that seemed to go with the overall vibe of this money focused scam. Good luck but go somewhere else with the kids.

We have a 1:00 reservation here and it is now 1:50 and we have not been seated!!!! A well established restaurant like this should be better run!!! I will never return to this poorly run restaurant!!!!

I've had reservations for my anniversary for over a month. Yesterday I get a voicemail left by a girl named Jennifer, who said that they had to cancel my reservations because they were going to redo their hours for after the holiday. I checked on the website and they were closed from the week ending August 31. My reservation was for the next Sunday, September 7. I called today and the number that they leave is a corporate number for their corporate office and the Milleridge is closed and there was nobody to discuss this with me and I'm furious. Follow up called Wednesday 9/3 left message and did not get a call back. Terrible way to do business !! 9/4 finally got a call back. Ashley said they're having electrical issues and the place has been closed for weeks now. I asked if they would be giving out vouchers for the inconvenience and you know what she said??? " we gave you a courtesy call " Needless to say, I needed to update this review. I'm even more mad now and I will never make reservations for this place again. Totally RUDE !

I've been coming here since a kid but this was my first time dining here for a baby shower. The staff is quick and friendly! The place is like a maze but full of wonders and detail. The food was okay nothing to write home about but the portions are great. We had breakfast pastries on the table and they were stale. My skirt steak was a little over cooked but I understand it's a thinner cut.

Breakfast with Santa - this was our last time going because every year we were more disappointed with the food. The first year we went was about eight or nine years ago & it was fabulous! they had an omlet chef and all of the food was fresh & delicious. Everything changed over the years & now the food tastes like thawed frozen food from Costco. the omlet chef is gone, the little danish are hard as a rock, the cakes & breads taste awful, the bacon is rubbery, sausages undercooked & none of the servers speak English & they don't smile either. needless to say we won't be going back. So very sad how much it went downhill, it's also obvious by how many less people go there. I heard the regular brunch in the main restaurant is fabulous. Maybe we will try that next year. fingers crossed - I do not recommend Breakfast with Santa at all anymore

While this is not an Irish venue They did great We had allergies and staff weren't versed on what to do. Everyone was welcoming, friend, speedy, happy cinnamon bread , Irish soda bread, onion soup, traditional plates and apple strudel. Music, dancing and bagpipes MADE IT AUTHENTIC A+ effort

Here's the Scoop: Here today for a Christmas luncheon. The entire village is decorated in vintage bulbs, candy cane, lights, reindeer etc. it's a Christmas wonderland. The food was delicious and service excellent. I ordered the strip steak but wanted to try the duck. I tasted a small piece from my friends plate and was pleasantly surprised because this was my first taste of duck. The Inn is beautifully decorated on the inside as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here today as well as the Millridge Village and will definitely come again to something from the candy shoppe or have a meal in a snow globe. I also learned this restaurant was here for over 100 yrs. Wow!!!

Went to Milleridge Inn for Thanksgiving this year. Very disappointed!! Wrong soup came out, but it gets better. When the waiter brought out our food both of our meals were ice cold. Paid $75.00 in advance per person for this experience . Usually at the Milleridge it is spot on. I am sorry that we went and had a lousy Thanksgiving. The quality and service were poor.

We had dinner here last evening and it was a great experience! The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the service was great! Our server, Nancy, was polite, attentive and friendly! Highly recommended!

So the food is decent, but I give this place 5 stars mainly for the atmosphere and historic story behind the inn. The property dates back to 1653 and was a place for settlers and british soldiers to stay. The restaurant itself has a nice large old tavern and features some nice wood fireplaces and a few smaller private rooms. They also have a nice recently renovated bar. The food is pretty good and features a more traditional American menu. The french onion soup is a great starter, and the meatloaf, believe it or not, is my favorite main. The bread to start, which is made on sight, is also delicious. On the grounds they also have a nice authentic shopping village, which is always nicely decorated for the holidays; especially christmas. Catering and event wise they a separate cottage, which is very nice for events. Overall, it was a great long island staple and a must visit during Christmas, in my opinion.

Where do I start? The food was absolutely horrible this past Sunday.... I ordered such a simple dish "Meatloaf" and it came out looking like they cooked it for 30 seconds. If you can picture a package of ground beef shaped like meatloaf that's what I saw. You're paying a stupid amount of money for food that is horrible. I saw my waiter when we ordered the drinks and food and not once after until it was time to pay.... If my parents weren't there I wouldn't have even left a tip because the food was disappointing. 3 people also got braised beef and that was horrible also. Bill came out to $800 with the tip... Oh yeah let me mention I still had to pay for the meatloaf I took one bite out of and literally spit it on my plate. Place went downhill and plan on never going back.

Change of plans and I geared them to TMI. I suggested their fabulous brunch, it never disappoints, (I missed the crab legs). Food was delicious, freshly made. Among other dishes: the Quiche, the Eggplant Rollatini, shrimp cocktail , for dessert, the coconut-lemon cake is divine but so is the cherry crumbled. Bear in mind this is almost 2 rooms filled with delicious food. Service; tops. Ambience ... great. I recommend it, great time all the time.

Just an update for Milleridge rock and roll car meets every 2 nd Thursday. Summers over - the stores in the village were closed today. The cars of many were there on this perfect weather day. The band Retro Replay ( see pix/video) we're charming,easy to listen too, pleasant shared info with audience and a very nice variety of song we're preformed. ( can't beat the price- Free)

Being treated terribly on Mother's Day by awful service then having the person who caused it "love" your review like it's a joke. Wow! Look who liked my review. Totally unprofessional, insensitive, and shameless. No apology, just mockery. She shows zero accountability and has no respect for customers. After all the waiting and disrespect, there was barely any food left -- just cold fries and hot dogs. If you want to be ignored, cheated, and insulted on what should be a special day, go ahead. Skip this place if you value your time, money, and decent treatment.

Came for dinner at the newly renovated Milleridge Inn. I love the colonial and historic feel. Started off with the cinnamon bread which is to die for! I don't remember the name as the menu has changed a bit, but I got a breadless eggplant sandwich. I did get it without the mushrooms and cheese, but it was so flavorful and fresh and came with some fries as well. For dessert, I shared a piece of the 7 layer cake which was the best 7 layer cake I've ever had! The texture was a bit different, very thick and there were undertones of a coffee flavor. A perfect time to visit as they have their Halloween decorations up in the village!

Very disappointed today at the Milleridge Inn. Had to send the soup back because it was tepid--and then the Turkey Gumbo was annoyingly spicy. There were 5 of us including my 96 year old mom. The entrees were okay except for the vegetables--had to send back string beans from the pot roast and strip steak as they were not sautéed at all, nearly raw. By the time they were returned to us, most of the meat and potatoes were finished. Coffee was okay but served with 2 tiny milk pitchers that barely covered 2 of the 4 cups of coffee ordered. The 7 layer cake was dismal. Requests for to-go trays were made 3 times. Finally, the men's room was flooded and the ladies room has No ADA placards on the door. Had to wait to see which one was compliant. Very sad--always looked forward to this special weekend with the family. The capper was my sister who made the reservation received a text about missing our reservation even though we were seated 15 minutes ahead of time! She sent back a copy of our dinner check! Sorry to say, after many years of enjoyment, will look elsewhere next year.

we were there for the thanksgiving buffett at the cottage house 2025. when we walked in the place was packed and you actually had to fight your way around. so we go to our table whaich had a dirty table cloth which was from the people who were there before us. also the water glasses were full that also had to be there from previous guests had to ask our server for new water. lets get to the buffett area. the food imo totally sucked. boiled turkey nothing to carve ham was dry as a desert. the best was the stuffing it was literally stove to stuffing poured straight from the box into the chaffing dish. (are you kidding me! ) the stacked plates for the buffet were dirty so you had to rummage to find a clean one. my wife asked for a glass of wine when she received i,t the glass was dirty and sticky so we immediatly asked the serve to remove it. i am no food expert but i know good food when i see and eat it. . this food was not good at all. never again never! there is better food at a soup kitchen. this place was one of the worse establishments we have ever encountered for a thanksgiving. besides the $85 per head. we left after nibbling on a few things and decided to go to insignia steak house whach was awesom . the miller ridge inn is not what it used to be and is now an establishment that cares more about money than serving quality food and good service.

Not even worth 1 star , if there was negative stars i would give it 10 of them. Went for dinner on a Saturday night with 5 guests and I have to honestly say it is the worst food on long Island and possibly in all of NY State. Then as a great finish to the night ,we asked for decade coffee about 8;30 on a Saturday night and we're told straight up no , I am not making it by the waiter. Do not go there for dinner for any reason, it will be a terrible experience and a total waste of money. I did write a letter to the manager and got no response, what a suprise.

Returned here on June 2 for my mother's 98th birthday for their buffet let me start by saying the service was excellent, but the food left a lot to be desired. All of the chafing dishes were not marked, so the servers had open down the whole line saying what it was, and they had to do this for everyone they were no sterno under the chafing dishes because all of the food was cold The shrimp cocktail was good. The carving station was good. The dessert was good but the food was just not up to standards. I was very disappointed. There were nine of us and the bill came to over $800 and I don't feel that it was worth it, and I emailed them directly with my thoughts and never heard back.

We reserved an Igloo outside the Carriage House for Sunday brunch. FANTASTIC!! Our own private world!! They say 8 adults - we were 6, and 3 kids (14, 8, and 5) and fit fine. And the little ones could go outside and blow off steam, within eyesight... a bonus! It was delightfully warm inside, with 2 heat sources you can control yourself. The specialty cocktails are terrific, and the brunch had a few 'unlimited' cocktail selections. Every food item we ordered was GREAT. We were lucky enough to have it start to snow toward the end of our stay... PURE MAGIC. I recommend this 100% as a unique and memorable exoerience. Our server, Alexander, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. We felt very 'taken care of'.

Nasty, Nasty and Nasty! The worst dining experience (and I use that term lightly) I have ever had from start to finish, bar none! Stay away, you have been warned!!

This review is based solely on our Easter visit on Sunday 3/31/24. This was our first time at the Millridge Inn. We wanted to have Easter Lunch as well as somewhere that offered entertainment for the kids and the Millridge inn did just that. Our reservations were for 3:30pm at the cottage for the buffet- we were seated right away. We arrived at 2:00 just in time for the egg hunt, pictures with the Easter bunny, face painting, balloon animals, petting zoo and pony ride! My kids loved it! The buffet had such a variety of food some of our favorites were crab legs, shrimp cocktail, ham, skirt steak and the cold table: cheeses and pesto pasta. The service was not the best - however our waiter had a lot of tables and was very busy .. and we understood that and were patient. We def enjoyed our time there and will be returning again next year!

The Milleridge Inn just isn't what it used to be. Every Easter since I was a little kid we always came here to shop and eat a great meal, today it was just a little depressing. Besides the bakery the only other shop open was the candy/toy store if you can even call it that anymore. The candy is one off items and the toy store is more like a singular shelf. My sister and mom and I were pretty disappointed the Christmas shop wasn't open as well as the ice cream parlor. We had a reservation for 230 for Easter brunch and our food was alright. I got the oven roasted turkey and French onion soup, ($7 up charge to have the soup with cheese on it...) the turkey was bland and flavorless and my potatoes were also unseasoned. The stuffing and gravy were great as well as the French onion soup and the apple strudel dessert. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating, 1000% doing her best on a busy holiday. My mom and sister got the lamb and it was really fatty and chewy. For the amount you're paying ~$70 pp, you expect better quality, especially since it used to be so good. The highlights include the pop overs and the cinnamon bread, a staple for Milleridge Inn. Overall, it was just a very underwhelming experience, the food has 100% downgraded in quality and it's upsetting that none of the shops are ever open! I would like to see this place turn around in the future as it's a family favorite of mine and I'd hate to turn my back on it.

Absolutely awful experience. Staff were rude, unhelpful, and acted like we were inconveniencing them--at my own son's first birthday. Valerie was a gem! They forgot a guest's meal, gave us the bill in front of everyone, and rushed us out after barely lifting a finger. Do yourself a favor: book literally anywhere else.

I will never ever plan a celebration with this place again. I decided to book my upcoming celebration with someone else. Milleridge Inn has a person named Amanda who handles the bookings and details for whatever you're booking. Talk about rude and not made to deal with people looking for a happy celebration. Her non-caring attitude puts a damper on it. It could be a personality disorder. She is out and out rude to prospective customers. She is never there when you call. If you happen to have a question there is no one else who could or is allowed to answer. If you plan on booking for a wedding, stay away. You will most likely experience a nervous breakdown waiting for a return phone call. I live in Jericho and have been coming here for over 20 years and have celebrated many birthdays and other occasions here. Never again. It's not what it used to be. And whoever owns this forsaken place please train your supposed "banquet staff" on how to deal with prospective customers. And please turn the air on when the room hits 80 degrees, Sad!

Updates the Inn finally refunded monies spent on Mother's day for the experience we endured

It pains me to leave a review like this because Milleridge Inn has always been a special place for me, ever since I was a kid. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is usually great, and the service is exceptional. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me deeply disappointed, and I feel the need to share my experience in the hopes that improvements are made. I came to celebrate my six-month anniversary with my girlfriend, a reservation I made several days in advance. Emily, who assisted me over the phone, was wonderful--friendly, efficient, and made the booking process a breeze. The food was also outstanding as always. I had the pork chops, which were perfectly cooked, and swapped the Brussels sprouts for creamed spinach--a personal preference. Natalia, our server, was phenomenal and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Thanks to her, I'm willing to give the Milleridge Inn another chance despite the issues. Here's where the visit took a turn. We arrived at 6:58 for our 7:00 reservation and were promptly escorted inside by a hostess named Joan. While it was clear there were plenty of open tables in the main dining area, Joan seemed preoccupied with her iPad and took a while to figure out where to seat us. After standing awkwardly for a couple of minutes, she led us to a dimly lit section in the back that didn't match the ambiance we were hoping for. When I asked if we could be seated in the main dining area, where I've always dined in the past, she dismissed the request, saying, "That's for reservations only." This was baffling, as families who arrived before and after us were being seated there--despite us having made our reservation nearly a week in advance. I'm not one to jump to conclusions or assume bad intentions, but the experience felt unfair and, frankly, humiliating. It left a sour taste in what should have been a memorable evening. That said, Natalia's exceptional service and the quality of the food saved the night and convinced us to give this place another shot. I hope management addresses this issue, whether it's with Joan or the reservation system. If situations like this continue, I'll be reconsidering future visits and advising my friends and family to do the same. Milleridge Inn is too special a place to let poor service ruin it for loyal customers. Please make the necessary changes.

From what I read, the Milleridge is not an official landmark, its original property dates to 1672. The story whether true or false states that elected US Presidents were there and that it was an underground bootlegging operation during the prohibition era. We chose to visit the Milleridge Inn for the Christmas holidays specifically because of their holiday spirit and we were guessing that brunch was something special at the Inn. One can enjoy the beauty of the Christmas decorations, Christmas Carolers and for children, a visit from Santa Claus.

I have been going here for over 35 years, it was great. Now the place is terrible. It smells of mold when you enter. We were 38 people jamed in a small roon on the second floor, and the AC didn't work. The glasses on the beverage table had lipstick and fingerprints all over them. When I complained to the wait staff, they shruged their shoulders. We had to wait 20 min for cheese for the pasta, by that time it was cold. The wait staff's english was poor. The wine was of a cheap quality, the rolls were hard. Who puts out a tiny pitcher of cream at a table for 10, all drinking coffee? By the time they got more cream the coffee was cold. I went to the ladies room towards the end of the meal, and the wait staff was cleaning the bathroom, without gloves. It was a disgrace! Stay away from that place!!

The martini was slamming!! No scrimping on alcohol. The staff was fantastic!! The menu may have changed and the cobwebs have been cleaned but the food is still a slightly better Swanson TV dinner. SALTY. Started with salty onion soup. Not terrible, but I wouldn't order it again. I had the short ribs which were tough and smothered in sauce. My friend had the meatloaf smothered in salty flavorless sauce with the promise that it was as good as grandmas but unfortunately not by enough to warrant a $29 price tag. All together with the martini and an Arnold Palmer, the soup and two entrees that were not eaten the price was $103.19 without tip. $20 more and we could have gone to Insignia of Smithtown for an amazing culinary experience. Too bad. We had high hopes. It's obvious the owner is still unwilling to hire an experienced and valuable chef. Two stars for the attentive staff.

This place is so freaking great. Honestly it really is such an easy little village to walk through with kids and family and friends. The lights and holiday vibe it has cant be compared to others in the area or even in the city honestly. We drove out to meet family and just simply hang out and we ended up over here i totally recommend stopping by. I heard theyre trying to up the place with new ownership now and i hope they keep the holiday spirit alive because now a days its hrs to come by especially with this generation of woke folks. The bakery has great treats their cinnamon bread was highly recommended by my fam and man was it so good. Also their chocolate chip cookies were bomb. We ate at the casual restaurant and the food was good. Super family friendly. And nice out door space as well. Only thing lacking was a good espresso machine to really elevate the village coffee game. To have access to special holiday hot drinks with cool mugs for purchase, or hot chocolates that bring the old mix to shame would be great. (Hint hint) some IG worthy drinks would really top it off.

Came here again for St Patrick's day, I ordered the "bangers and mash" which is actually just Jimmy Dean breakfast sausages and powdered mashed potatoes, others got the shepherds pie which was like meat soup with dry mashed potatoes on top. The food here really is overpriced hospital cafe quality.

Our Mother's Day brunch experience was extremely disappointing. Giving it even one star is being generous. The buffet was poorly managed -- food quality was subpar, the selection was cheap cafeteria style low quality food, and the dining area was overcrowded, loud, and noticeably unclean. It took far too long to get anything, with dirty dishes and used glasses still on the table when we arrived. When we went to the buffet, many items had run out, and there weren't even plates available. Everything felt chaotic and poorly organized. The broken ketchup dispenser sprayed all over our clothes when we went to use it. The final straw was seeing a worm crawling across the table. We were so disgusted that we left. Even our waitress apologized, acknowledging the unacceptable experience. Given the food quality and overall environment, the brunch was wildly overpriced and should not have cost more than $20 per person. We will absolutely NOT be returning. What a horrible Mothers Day experience.

Just want to say, our waiter, Francisco, was attentive and apologetic. Had a 1 pm reservation for brunch on Mother's Day. Did not get our entree until 3pm and it was stone cold. I ordered the cinnamon bread French toast. Did not taste like French toast at all. You need to plan better. If my husband had not already pre-paid, we would have left your restaurant at the one hour mark and gone to a diner. New owners are running this Long Island institution into the ground. I will never go back to this restaurant that used to be my family's " go to" restaurant for special occasions. Also, not all of the shops were open when we finally finished. Seriously?? You should be ashamed.

Came for a holiday lunch with my office. The place was super packed and busy. We had a reservation so we were seated fairly quickly. The place was fully decorated for the Christmas season. The server was polite but you could tell he was slammed with all the tables he was attending too. I feel he did his best to be present when he tte des to us. The food was mediocre. I had the French onion soup. It was not the best I have ever had. I would not order it there again. One of my colleagues had the potato leek spud and he enjoyed that. We got some cinnamon bread which was yummy would have Ben nice it it was warm when brought out. There were these bread calls popovers tbat is supposedly something they are known for but I found it to just be eggy and missing salt. The salad was good I received a good serving of shrimp with my salad and the the greens were fresh.

Came for Thanksgiving dinner, stopped by the little Christmas village they have to take pictures and videos before going in to eat. Ate at the cottage since we had the buffet option. They walk you to your numbered table and from there you just go grab what you want! Bring Thanksgiving, there was of course the traditional Thanksgiving food options. It was a cool experience.

I dined here with family on May 28, 2023 for the brunch buffet. The Milleridge Inn is located in Jericho on Long Island, New York, surrounded by a small village of shops. There's a lot of history to this place. The main part of the building was built back in the 1670s! As soon as you step foot in the Milleridge Inn, you'll feel like you stepped back in time. You'll immediately notice the colonial decor and many of the dishes at the buffet table reflects the colonial time period, although some of the dishes are more modern. The buffet has a pretty large and diverse spread everything from your typical breakfast staples like eggs, bacon sausage, salmon, waffles and quiche to chilled seafood bar, salad bar, carving station and a variety of desserts. There are servers who walk around with bread baskets. The service here is top notch. I knocked odd a star because it's pricey. It's about $65/per person. I don't really consume a lot of food in one sitting so I didn't feel like it was worth it. If you're someone who devours buffets; then Milleridge is for you. For me, I ended up paying for the ambiance, experience and cannolis

For starters this place is tricky so if attending a wedding pull all the way to the back of the parking lot so that you are near the cottage, this place is a great choice to have a wedding and reception. The service was excellent and my goodness it was food on top of food on top of food no one there can say they went home hungry! They even sent us home with food lol. The ambiance has an old feel but still in good condition.

I came here the other night for dinner and it was a cute spot. Milleridge dates back to 1672. There are several historic stories about George Washington staying here. There are also some stories about how this use to be an underground bootlegging operation in the 1920's. Sure, maybe these are unverified, but it definitely adds to the appeal. The interior gets decked out with Holiday decor. We came early February, so of course the place was decorated in a gorgeous Valentine's Day Theme. They do have a bunch of cute shops outside that are simply gorgeous. It's perfect for bringing people around the Holidays. My SO tried the roasted chicken with carrots and I had the Lamb Osso Bucco. I have to say, the shanks were cooked so tenderly that they were following off the bone. Combined with their creamy, savory polenta. This was excellent. The roasted chicken was a bit dry unfortunately. The apple strudel was delicious as well! All in all, I would come here again if it were more convenient for me. The food was great. However, it is worth a trip for Holidays (they really do a lot to make the holidays seem so special).

We attended a wedding, and a reception serving cocktails, appetizers and dinner. The staff were attentive and amazing earning 5 stars. The appetizers were good. Main course prime rib was well seasoned, but vegetables had way too much oil. People who had the Mahi Mahi were not thrilled and stated that it tasted like it was previously frozen and was extra dry. None of the four at our table finished theirs. Those with the chicken advised it was fine. Staff 5 stars Appetizers 4 Main course 1 if fish, 3-4 chicken or steak The landscaping and peacocks were beautiful as was the interior design.

Had a gift card to the place so had to use it. We decided to go to the buffet on sunday morning. i was expecting the worst so i was kinda surprised. Biggest complaint was got there early and showed up to the host for 11am reservation. We didn't get called in until about 11:15. The food was good and diverse selection. The price might not be worth it but its an experience. i Dont think i ate 60$ worth of food.

Remember-you're here for the Disney-esque adorable Christmasy fun, which is delivered wholeheartedly by the attentive staff, sweet carolers, and everyone working the holiday village. The food is just fine and there's a lot of it. We almost skipped the whole thing after reading some other reviews and wow! People do not get the assignment when it comes to just having fun and being kind for the holidays. Skip the reviews by the negaholics, grab your sweetie, littles or favorite aunties and just enjoy the unique experience! A great way to rock in the holidays! We're so happy we came!

After reading about the new menu we were excited to go back. We sat at the table waiting. Finally our server came took our order for drinks and meal. Every other table was given bread and popovers. We had to ask. As we were eating our salads our main course came out. Not only was it bland but cold. The gravy on both our plates was like pudding. The mashed potatoes cold inside the ice cream scoop ball. My husband's was so bad he barely could eat it. I would have liked another glass of wine but no one asked. Oh we sat down at 5pm and were in our car at 5:37 no exaggeration. It's was equivalent to a cafeteria . And still never got the popover Don't waste your time or money
