We came when it was decorated for Christmas and tickets had to bought prior for Holly Jolly. The decorations were cute inside but it was a pretty small space and was giving work Christmas party vibes (do with this information what you will). With the ticket purchase you got a welcome drink and it was only 2 options and then a mocktail. The drink wasn’t very good and I wish they just let you pick whatever drink you wanted on the menu since they were all around the same price anyways. They had such cute cups for the other drinks as well. They only give you 90 min time slots so make sure you get there on time because they are strict about the times. We were there for about 40 minutes before any server came up to even check in on us and see if we wanted another drink & this was on a Sunday night so it wasn’t even that busy. The seating is first come first serve. Overall if you’re going to be getting a few rounds it’s a good spot for it they have few games around and the tables were good for conversations. Parking wasn’t the best either it’s in the same lot as the golden steer so it was tight and small and packed so just be mindful of that!

Google
I went during the Christmas pop-up event. Very nice decorations, fun themed cocktails, and attentive service. Good photo ops for the Instagram people.

Google
Really enjoyable classy cocktails. I enjoyed all the ones I had immensely. Went super early in the morning so not sure how busy or loud it gets and didn’t have any of the food but for a 24h bar all the drinks were solid. Thanks!!

Google
A group of us attended the Holly Jolly Bar. It was SO not worth the cover charge. When it was our 90-min time slot (yes you only get 90 mins), we went in and it was still packed with people from the prior time slot so no seating was available. The space is too small for that amount of people. The parking is impossible, too. You get one drink included with the ticket fee, but you only get to select from 2 alcoholic beverages and one mocktail. I got the Rockin' Around and it was AWFUL. Some ladies in our group gave it back because it was so bad. Because of that, they missed out on their free drink. It's best to avoid this place. There are plenty of other bars that decorate for Christmas that don't have a cover charge, have decent amount of seating and parking, and have more employees working that space. There was only one bartender and one server for that area. It was also so loud that we struggled to hear each other. We left and went to a better bar. Lesson learned.

Google
Wow !!! My friends and I came in to inquire about the new restaurant SLANGING TACOS & were immediately greeted by CHASITY & she made you feel like Royalty!! The waitress HAVEN was sooo sweet & the food was delicious!! You need to come here!!

Google
First time at The Mint and the experience was terrible. While I was using the restroom — literally just going to the bathroom and replying to a text — a female staff member came inside and accused me of “being in there too long” and implied I was doing something wrong. I wasn’t. I was alert, responding, and doing nothing inappropriate. It was humiliating, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. During the two hours I was there, no one offered water, and at one point I was refused alcohol with no explanation at all. This place needs serious staff training. Customers should not be profiled or treated like they’re doing drugs for simply using the restroom or looking tired. Day from hell to return there..

Google
Pre launch opportunity 10/12/25. - Holiday themed. Great Service with a smile. Creative, Interesting takes on drinks. Great opportunity to hang out after an evening at Golden Steer next door also

Dalia W.

Google
Honestly, one of the worst experiences from the moment we arrived. Just for asking simple questions, the girl at the entrance was extremely rude and unprofessional. Even though we had already paid for our tickets, they wouldn’t let us in, and her only “solution” was to tell us to email for a refund, without even trying to help or resolve anything. She also said that because of the “high demand,” they were going to kick us out exactly at the scheduled time, even though we were being denied entry from the start. The attitude was terrible and the customer service was even worse. Definitely would not come back and I do not recommend this place at all.

Yelp

Yelp
We have always wanted to check out this tavern and since it is a few doors down from the Golden Steer we checked it out after dinner. This is a very nice quaint tavern with friendly staff. Interesting thing is we made reservations on line, but it sounds like you really don't need then (the staff was also surprised that this option was available). They do have periodic events here such as swing dancing lessons on Friday nights at 730pm, The Fluff Follies coming up on 16 March 2024 at 830pm (door cover), etc. Interesting thing is that the bartenders have a selection of special solutions, that I call secret potions, like a 2% salt solution that they use for ingredients in special mixed drinks. Drink prices are reasonable, and staff is attentive and fun to talk with. We definitely will return to check out upcoming events and glad we stopped by.

Yelp
This place is pretty chill. We have a reservation at golden steer but need to wait for the rest of our group members so we decided to go here. Drinks were very affordable and the server Curtis is very friend and provided awesome service. The drinks were great. I only took a picture of one of our drinks. Definitely will go back when we are in town.

Yelp
Good drinks great service. Friendly staff cool place for a Tuesday night. Clean not to crowded, had sports playing. Just a chill cool place. Definitely coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a bar it is not that well ventilated so walking in you are going to smell smoke if that is a turn off then this may not be the place for you; Drinks are a decent price; staff is friendly; dancing schedule online. Good luck and have fun

Yelp
July 28th was my first experience at The Mint Tavern. I'm a local, independent ballroom dance instructor and I was looking for a fun place for my students & myself to experience some Swing dancing "out on the town." One of my students had heard of The Mint Tavern so I decided that we should check it out. We attended the Swing class at 7:30 followed by social dancing at 8:30. Right away when I entered The Mint, Kurt, the bartender made me feel comfortable and at home. To my surprise, Kurt and I already knew each other from another previous establishment that he used to work at. It was such a wonderful surprise to see him again!! I truly had missed him. The Swing class was fun & the instructors were awesome and patient with the beginners. The core crowd was very friendly. My students felt comfortable and had a blast! I know that we all will be back.

Yelp
My fiancée and i came by this awesome place after having dinner and i am so glad we did. We went in and had a few drinks while listening to the swing music we love so much. The dance floor was pretty big and many people were dancing and just having a great old time. The bar is very old vegas classic which we really enjoy and have been looking for a place with this type of music. The decor is very vintage vegas, very random objects around which make it very unique. The drinks are very reasonable and bartenders are very friendly. We had such a fun night hanging out and dancing, can't wait to come back soon.

Yelp
Bars like this are a little hard to find.... from the the glitz and glam of building exterior all the way to the live band playing in a theme what seems to be a nod to the Sinatra Era in Vegas. This is a dimly lit, cocktail club where you can come in enjoy some music and cocktails. Keep in mind the live music is pretty loud but if it's good music who cares right?. The place is spacious and separate room for live music stage. Seems great right? Theres just one flaw....this place has a horrible smell in the air. The whole venue had such a terrible nauseating odor and i couldnt determine where It was coming from or what the cause was. Just like Vegas used to be, I gambled some money in their machines and they had absolutely no problem comping all my drinks for my play. That's the way it should be everywhere . I love the concept of this place a very nice upgrade from Red Label.

Yelp
A bar with a theme of a classic. If you like old Vegas history check this out. The Mint Tavern is themed after the old hotel and casino that was on Fremont Street. Has a lot of the old decor. What a trip. It has a selection of classic cocktails. Some are very old school. They have some newer ones too. Basically just a place to get drunk. They no longer have a food menu. I checked this out recently while trying to get something to eat at the restaurant next to here. They have a stage area where there's live music so you have another reason to hang out. It seems chill. The bar has video poker so you can fuck around while waiting for orders. I like getting the Tommy's Margarita. It's $9 for a pretty okay size. This is made with agave, fresh lime, and tequila. It goes down real easy. They have plenty of other cocktails to check out. Cool bar. It's fun looking around at the history. This is close enough to the Strip to walk.
google avatar

Valerie J.

Yelp
Place was cool. If you like to gamble and drink this is the place for you. The bar area is really small but does have a room where it looks like they have live music. Not sure though. If you aren't a smoker this is not a good place for you because others are so close and the place is small you can get a heavy smell. Drinks were ok. Not the best but ok.
google avatar

Mariah G.

Yelp
The ambiance is classic Vegas. Keith the bartender was amazing and made a really good margarita. Drinks were made super quick and there a black jack tables in the bar. The also offer dance classes. Fully recommend

Raye R.

Yelp
Came in initially to see if there were drinks to go and got the kind explanation by Kirk of the difference between bats and the Strip. Went and picked my guy up and took him for a drink here, largely due to the kindness of the bartender. The drinks were great. Martini and a margarita. Classic. Nice vibe to the place and they have akarisje and other events in the side room. If you want classic cocktails and good conversation, cheit out some day

Yelp
After driving by The Mint Tavern for 10+ years we finally stopped in. This spot definitely has the "Classic old Vegas" feel. They offer some cool rat pack history with added oddities such as a lonely typewriter with the first page of Hunter S Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". You'll walk into a dark U shaped bar lined with video poker machines and the smell of smoke, just like Vegas used to be! The Mint Tavern is open 24/7 and offers a full line up of fun from Swing dancing to Burlesque Bingo, Classic Car shows, Live Music and more. Our bartender Jarrod was amazing! Can't wait to return.

Yelp
I had an amazing night here tonight. The bartender was amazing and everyone seems to know each other. He also makes pretty good drinks! The place has a bar on one side and a dance hall next door for people that wanted to learn how to do the swing dance. Although I am not a great dancer I enjoyed watching everyone having a nice time dancing and laughing. It'll be a great place for a group of friends a and or even date nights. They have swing dance classes I am not sure of the dates and fees I just saw it on the billboard ads when I was there. I will definitely be back here and bring some friends next time to do something different. Also they do play some classic Vegas music making it more classic " THE MINT". Try it you'll like it . :)

Yelp
I've been wanting to stop by the Mint for a while, and I'm glad I did when I was in Vegas this time around! Service was friendly, and it felt like a place where many of the staff and customers knew each other. The main bar was nicely dive-ish, with cool period decorations. There was a side room that seemed to be used mostly for evening entertainment with old-school Vegas lounge furniture/decor. Drinks were standard, no menu or anything special. They have some great happy hour deals. I'd love to check out some of their entertainment the next time I'm in town! Overall, the Mint is an unpretentious bar that stays true to their roots while still being modern.

Rhoel G.

Yelp
My fave after hours hangout!!! Curtis is super accommodating! Gets the job done and fast! I just discovered this little place and everything is super laid back for an after hours bar! Definitely my go to place after a shenanigans at Vegas!

Yelp
the bartender was so delightful and it was a great little place! i look forward to visiting again!!

Yelp
Stopped by with my wife on our date night. My wife asked where the rest room was and bar tender tells us its for paying customers only. Why else would we be in here. We tried to dress a little Vintage. Still bought One drink each and then Hit up Main Street. Martini was the best she's ever had though. I just felt out of place from the beginning.
google avatar

Frank L.

Yelp
Great little bar but it also has a show room. Went to see the latest residency show - Carpenters Legacy. Intimate room with no bad seats. Shows are at a very affordable price. Would recommend checking the Mint out for a nice evening out that won't break the bank.

Yelp
Very Vegasy! This is a typical hole-in-the-wall local tavern, close enough to downtown LV to reach out and touch it. There is plenty of free parking, which is a novelty on this side of town. It has amazing pictures of old Las Vegas, as well as videos running on the monitors of old Vegas stars and events. When you first walk in, you realize that it's much bigger than it appears from the road. The bar is big enough to sit about 15 people, each with video poker/blackjack games; then there are the tables and chairs. The drink prices are reasonable, and the bartender was a lot of fun. They do not have table service, you have to come to the bar. The bar itself is in a separate room from the larger room with the stage and couches. I came for karaoke and a friend's party. The host (Big Sexy - who can forget that name?) was funny, charming, and an amazing singer. He used modern equipment so that the rotation was clear and you could always see who was coming up next. He had an endless supply of songs, so no limitations. There is plenty of room for dancing. Overall, this is an easy-to-find venue and great for mid-size parties or get-togethers.

Yelp
My husband and I always like trying "new" places and we look forward to returning. When we walked in we were greeted by the friendly bartender. He made us feel like we were regulars. My husband ordered his martini and oddly I Wasn't sure what I was wanting. After talking awhile, Matt came up with a good drink for me to try ( wish I could remember what it was. Hahaha). It was so good that I had 3! The interior is clean and cozy. Would have been nice to have a jukebox but there was some great 50s music playing so that was nice. The bar top has machines and since I don't gamble I could not tell you much about them.

Travis W.

Yelp
Outstanding customer service. We asked our bartender what would be a good place to eat. We went where she recommended and had a fantastic meal. Ver thankful for her.

May S.

Yelp
Great place to enjoy in Las Vegas. No wonder there are many compliments about here

Yelp
UPDATE: upgraded to 5. My favorite spot in Vegas! Love the music, love the bartenders, love the vibe.

Michelle O.

Yelp
This place strikes me as a locals hang out and its located in a rather unassuming strip mall. That said, Im giving this place 5 stars primarily because of the bartender that my husband and I met named Bengie. It is becoming such a rarity sadly in this day and age to have excellent service in any service oriented business (especially a bar) and as much as we enjoy Vegas, most bartenders here seem a bit jaded (which I can understand given the 'clientele' they have to deal with on a daily basis) but this guy really made us feel special. He's priceless. Very attentive and interesting to talk to. So if you get a chance, go to The Mint just for a drink and a chat with him and if you're nice, he might even give you a few gambling pointers in addition to great service!

Dylan S.

Yelp
If I could recommend a 0 star I would. Unprofessional establishment. Can't keep track of customers cards. When asked about it we were asked to leave. When we entered again after being paying customers to use the restroom we were asked to leave. An employee that had taken our card lost it and was playing the slots during the entire incident. 0/10 do not recommend

Yelp
I work across the street from The MINT and was super curious about it once I saw the sign go up. The sign alone is something I think will draw people in. We only came in to have a couple of drinks on a night of bar hopping. Overall, I really liked my experience here. The bartender greeted us with a handshake. Who does this anymore? It felt personable and even though I usually try to avoid personal contact with strangers, he made me feel comfortable. They didn't have Bombay Sapphire, which I thought was a little odd but the drinks were strong and the lime was fresh (you wouldn't believe how many places have old yucky limes). The bathroom was clean. Yes, when I go to bars I judge the bathrooms. This one was A-OK! It was Saturday when we went and there was a "band" playing. I thought they were ok. Some of the covers were kind of weird but hey I can't sing so there's that. I'd defintely come back, especially on salsa night. Seems fun.
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
LOVE the Mint. Me and my husband went to Las Vegas to celebrate our birthdays and wedding anniversary. We were looking for little Hidden Gems where there were just locals. The mint has a old school vibe, with a Frank Sinatra feel. We were greeted by Chavonne who made us feel right at home, helped order some food from next door, gave us plates so we ate comfortable at the bar, and she makes awesome drinks. I felt that she was our own personal bartender . I definitely recommend The Mint if your looking for the true Las Vegas feel of a local.
google avatar

Debra C.

Yelp
Typical old world bar/club. We went to the magic show there for something fun to experience. The show was fun, the space was adequate for COVID. The drinks were good. Not someplace I'd hang out at, but would return for a show.
google avatar

Karla F.

Yelp
Awesome time! Great service! Fun atmosphere, the crowd is like family! A place you can go where everyone knows your name. If you forget it, someone there can remind you.

Yelp
This bar is newly renovated and pays homage to the historic Mint hotel and casino with it's name and vintage signage. It has a swanky 1950's/60's look and feel to the outside and inside, and captures that vintage Vegas feel. Inside it has two sections, one with the bar area and one with an event area with seating, a dance floor, and small stage area. They have cool fun events all throughout the week, and host a vintage swing dance night on Friday nights with jazz music and people dressed up and dancing. The Friday night swing dance is so unique and you feel like you travel back to another time. They also have a swing dance class. There are tons of people there. It is a breath of fresh air from the stereotypical touristy chinzy extravagance that the strip is inundated with, all while being located just a four minute walk from Las Vegas Boulevard. It is just a few doors down from the Golden Steer, which was Frank Sinatra's favorite steakhouse. It has relatively cheaper drink prices, and the bar area is cozy, friendly, and intimate. It is very easy to mix and mingle. The bartenders are attentive, friendly, and nice. It also has a slew of television sets and video gambling around the bar. If you aren't doing strip bars and you are rightfully avoiding "chain" bars, this would be a great option, especially on one of their event nights. I met the owner and he is extremely nice and always looking for ways to improve the space.

Jen C.

Yelp
We stopped in for a few drinks before going to dinner. The bartender, Ghered, greeted us. The drinks were good, the prices were good but the bartenders welcoming personality is what this place is all about!! We stopped in pretty early in the evening on Sunday so not much was going on but Ghered told us about their live entertainment, which sounds awesome! Follow them on IG for info.
google avatar

Molly K.

Yelp
We had such a blast here! Lauren was so personable and so attentive! For sure the best bartender in Vegas! We stayed for about four hours and had fun conversation with her and all the other guests. This place has such a chill vibe and the atmosphere is retro and unique. Definitely a one of a kind place which is hard to do in Vegas! We can't wait to come back here again!!!
google avatar

Abby S.

Yelp
Super nifty sign on the outside and so much history on the inside. Stopping off for a cocktail at The MINT isn't a bad idea at all... It's your typical video gambling bar, with consoles at each seat around the bar. Limited seating surrounds the bar, so you can have an adult beverage without trying your luck. My lemon drop martini was strong! They are not messing around with the drinks. Have a sip and talk to the 'tender about the photograph behind the bar or swing dancing on selected nights. Or watch TV and relax. Either way, it's a Vegas bar for sure.

M H.

Yelp
I went to the MINT with friends after an amazing meal at The Golden Steer. The bartender tried to charge us for the entire bars tab. He tried 5 times before he could get the tab right, and it turns out I still spent $28 too much.
google avatar

Cappi L.

Yelp
Great place to hang out. The staff is always so nice. The decor is really cool and the place is very clean.
google avatar

Payvand W.

Yelp
Excellent bar, wonderful staff, a fun time no matter when we visit! LOVE LOVE LOVE the decor! If you're looking to dance all night, The Mint has your name all over it! Refreshingly bright sign, a glimpse into what Vegas looked like back in the Rat Pack days. No need to visit the Vintage Vegas sign museum...just head down to The Mint!!
google avatar

Lisa H.

Yelp
Currently a smokey uninviting environment. Basically a dive bar with a really fancy sign on the front of the building. They were out of Titos but did have a couple of other vodkas. The staff was friendly as well as the owner. Talks of a craft beer, wine & a food menu are in the works. If that happens I will return. Fingers crossed. Want this place to do well.
google avatar

Jim P.

Yelp
Located about a block west of the strip on Sahara, this modest Tavern springs to life on Friday nights when the swing dance crowd comes here. Drinks are good, beer is cheap, and everyone is friendly. There's lots of dancing, and great music, if your taste leans towards 1940s and 1950s, or you feel like dancing to the stray cats. Most Fridays they have a crowd of 50 or so, and everyone is there to dance, not just sit around. The evening begins at 8 o'clock, with a short beginners lesson. Big fun. Highly recommended. More information may be found on the website swingdancevegas.com.

Ronni F.

Yelp
Went by here over the weekend after my friend recommended this place, and it was great. The bartenders are very friendly, and there's dancing lessons you can take. I tried swing dancing. The decor has a old antique feel and it's a clean new tavern. I'd come back.
google avatar

Marc C.

Yelp
Great vibe and friendly bartenders. Techno Swing for entertainment on a Saturday night. Unique and cool. A little slower than I would expect but it's only 9:00.
google avatar

ArtyCat C.

Yelp
I might have been to fast to give it a five star- but the potential is there. I think you're going to see a lot of great things happening here. Already have Swing Dance Fridays. Lessons first and than dancing. Other plans for entertainment! Bar is full of T Vs. Bartenders I meet are friendly and take care of you. Second room is big n spacious. Both bar n room have new big windows giving it a nice airy open feeling. Music is "rat pack" style nice n relaxing. A bit of old school Vegas. Very Cool !
google avatar

Yelp
Cool joint, conveniently located near Golden Steer and Capriottis sandwich shop. Good drinks, cool bartender and swanky atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Chuck S.

Yelp
I stopped in to check the place out and couldn't believe the change. What a turnaround for the better! The machines are still Gamblers Bonus (nice), the bartender I had was awesome, the place is super clean and the beer was super cold. In fact, I liked the place so much that the following weekend, I brought my dinner party in prior to dining at the Golden Steer and again after dinner. I will definitely be back! Management, please do more advertising! I literally live around the corner (Rancho and Charleston) and there are so many people in the Scotch 80's, Rancho Circle, Glen Heather & McNeil Estates area that would call this bar home if they only knew about it! I would advise that you join the McNeil Facebook page, simply to get on the radar of the small concentration of people in the immediate area and put more butts in seats at the bar. I want you to stick around! The bar absolutely fits the neighborhood and the area - great job on the renovation! I will see you soon!
google avatar

Allan C.

Yelp
Great bar with amazing staff. A favorite place to watch sports, have a few drinks and relax. Highly recommend!

Slinky S.

Yelp
I was on vacation and I wanted to play some Caveman Keno but didn't want to on the strip or the big casinos. Since we stayed next to The Mint we decided to go and see what it was all about. The flashy light and easy parking was a plus. Than we walked inside and was greeted by Veronica. She was so friendly and nice. And they got Caveman Keno and I was in Heaven!!!! Back to Veronica she made the best Sex on the beach.. Now I had a lot of sex on the beach drinks. All watered down and tasted like Crap. But 1 sip and it was bomb!!!! Drinks kept coming. I highly recommend this place. And we will be back soon.
google avatar

Tara R.

Yelp
Horrible.. played $100 and the bartender didn't even say he was staring tab.. $20a drink to the penny.. lost a gamer... respect to those bartenders who say they are starting a tab.. the chicks here are real. Dude sucks

Yelp
I wasn't expecting much more than what I found at the Mint, but it was fun to go and check it out. It's a small strip mall bar with an inviting bar in the center. We went on a Monday around 2pm so it was understandably slow but the bartender was great and informative. They were playing a Breaking Bad marathon on the TV which was fun. The bartender told us they'd been under new management since September but the decor was still a little lacking. They had some good ideas started with some old fashioned furniture in the corners and a great ceiling. However, the walls were pretty bare with an industrial feel and the main window was blacked out. We ordered a couple beers while we gambled and talked to the other patrons (the bar does lend itself to intimacy and meeting your neighbors). Beers were $6 draft which seemed a little high compared to competitors. We were shown the "lounge" area which currently looks like an overflow catering space or something. We overheard they're doing entertainment on certain nights but I imagine that might be awkward with the separate bar and lounge areas. There's also no food served in the bar but that's alright. I think the bar has a lot of potential and will draw a lot of people based on the sign alone but the inside needs to step it up to keep them coming. If the Mint was an old-time Vegas casino maybe they go for that ambiance, or a woody, cozy "tavern" vibe. Either way I suggest waiting a bit longer to check this place out while they get everything sorted.

Lp S.

Yelp
This is a very cool 50s retro style bar, I love the music * Frank Sinatra & and all the good standards * The place has a good feel to it. The bartender was friendly and laid back and we had clever and eventful Conversations. This is a good place to go for on line dating or to bring a blind date .The bar was kinda slow at 3:30 am, the bartender was fun and interacting in our conversations, making us feel welcomed and comfortable. I think his name was Bruce. There is a ballroom connected to the bar where he said , open mic , Swing dance on Friday's & live music on Saturday's, an over all good time I recommend a visit and will be making this my new late night stop . There was no food, the bartender said, food is coming after the kitchen gets revamped!! Go check out the Mint. I'm glad to see this vintage style bar is fresh with class and style and doing it up right.

Yelp
What a shame. I came in with some friends to gamble and there were two gentlemen at the bar enjoying their cigars. The air was so foul we had to leave. Pity really, but there you have it.
