Google
Such a venue for live music, great food, and scenic views! Our party of 5 had appetizers on the patio on the perfect weather day. The server was super friendly and knew a lot about the hummingbirds that visit the feeders hanging from the roof over the river. We caught a glimpse of an orange hummer just as we were about to leave. Will definitely be back!

Stopped for a late breakfast early lunch after a hike and sat outside and enjoyed the rushing water and scenic mountains. Great service and delicious food. Here visiting my son and glad we ate here as it had been over 6 years since I ate here. Love the outdoor music area as well!

Google
Everything about this venue was AMAZING! Our shuttle time changed but fortunately we could park along side of the road and walk to the venue. It was not over crowded. They have PREVENTION people there which is highly respectable, you can get information on addiction and get REVIVE (Narcan) kits. I have never seen that anywhere else. They take care of their community! Loved the lights on the river too :)

It's always a joy to work at The Mishawaka! The natural beauty of the Poudre Canyon is a stunning backdrop - perfect for couples looking for a unique and outdoorsy wedding venue. Gary and the rest of the crew are super easy to work with and the food is delicious! If you're dreaming of an outdoorsy, laid-back kind of wedding, The Mish is a great spot.

If you are around fort collins, definitely swing past well, worth the time and visit, they have great shows. The food is delicious and all of the weight staff is spectacular. One of my favorite spots. It is tucked along the river the scenery is beautiful. A must in my opinion.

Google
The Restaurant is right on the Poudre River! The outdoor patio is on top of the river ! It’s Awesome ! Good is great, service is fabulous! The view on the patio ( look at pictures ) Thank you The Mish! From Wisconsin made our vacation a better !

Did a little something non traditional for Easter. Up the canyon for a late lunch watches the Poudre River roll by. Our timing was off so we were WAY early before our reservation. They accommodated us with no problem. Perfect view of the river. Kind and attentive service, delicious food & adult beverages. Topped off with a playlist of ALL Beatles. Incredible good vibe, history, peace ☮️ & love 💗 Thanks to all for helping us create a new tradition

Google
Enjoyed a great concert, didn’t order any food (so no feedback there), but the staff, environment, and everything else was great. For large events, consider either using a shuttle or purchasing a parking pass.

Yelp
I've eaten there before a couple of times. No problem, sat outside, Had food and decent service but unfortunately, on a trip to Steamboat Springs decided to stop on the way home and have lunch. my dog and I (too hot to leave her in the car )Walked in and they wanted me to have a reservation for one person. Empty tables everywhere. Then they stated I could sit outside in one of the tables that did not have an umbrella, and I could order premade food from the kiosk outside and a poured glass of wine would have to be gotten out of the bar inside. Huh, granted the two tables next to me had umbrellas and a server ! In these days of overpriced shrink inflation, (where you pay more for less ) I walked out of the place and no, I will not return. Imagine if you go to a restaurant and they say well you can eat here but since you don't have a reservation for one, we have a rusty school desk near the back door by the kitchen and the porta potty's outside. That's how it felt not worth my money.

Yelp
The views are worth it. The outdoor seating area is great, but they do have indoor seating & a fire place for winter months. This visit we sat inside at the covered patio, the water was low (off season) but so clear and beautiful! Bloody Mary - standard, they do add some pickles, celery, olive and peperoncini. The French onion soup - was so good! Came super hot with the perfect cheesy layer on top, and tons of onions and breading inside. Definitely recommend Usually we get burgers or the fish and chips when we come here (both great!) but on this day we both went for the French dip and it was delicious! Would definitely order again!

Yelp
We came for the school of rock performance. The event ran smoothly and the venue was very unique and had a real Colorado feel Right in a River, the scenery was fantastic! We had a blast. I wish we had an amphitheater like this in AL. The bar restaurant and outdoor seating were great Highly recommend!!

Yelp
We had lunch on the deck of the Mish over the Poudre River today. It's a great location. Our server was great. Lizzie was attentive & helpful. We ordered fish & chips & French dip sandwich. The pieces of fish were quite small and definitely NOT the best I ever had. The sandwich was ok and not great. I had to send the Au jus back as it was way too salty to eat. Prices were reasonable. It would be great if the food raised to the level of the setting and the service!

Yelp
Oooooo this place is so CUTE! Parking is not ideal on the side of the mountain. I was very impressed by the sound and visuals. Lasers bouncing off the trees makes this place so special. So dang pretty. Intimate setting with great bar food. The season is march through October. If it's in fall or spring it gets pretty chilly dress appropriately.

Yelp
Love it here!! So relaxing and an easy excuse to get up to the mountains. Especially love people watching the kayakers float down the river over lunch. Im already looking forward to going to a concert here in the future

Yelp
Fantastic location. We had to deal with a terrible bee situation that made us prematurely leave. Good beer selection. We need to come back.

Yelp
Had a really great lunch here, enjoy the Reuben sandwich very much. One of the better Ruben sandwiches I've had. The views on the outside deck are absolutely beautiful and make for a wonderful lunch. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the weather at least at this time of the year was perfect. Nothing like eating a great lunch and hearing the river right next to you. Don't forget to bring your camera for some of the better shots you're going to see in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
location is great so have a drink and enjoy but the nachos, chili and soups were all below average. Would not recommend if you want to eat.
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
Chili con carne, onion rings, mozz sticks, Cesar and house side salads were all excellent. Sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the Cache la Poudre river. Pork Chop was an excellent server.

Yelp
I will never go back to this place ever again! We got our beverages and asked if we could sit outside. The hostess said yes. We were out there 10 minutes before some guy asked us leave the patio because it's supposed to be for reservations only! There were SEVERAL empty tables. As we were leaving I wanted to use the restroom. They said you have to go out to porta potties outside. Even tho they have inside restrooms. Then they had the potty's locked. They were rude so we just left. FYI they are a NO CASH business as well. Just stay away from this place! Not worth it.

Yelp
Such a cool place! Gorgeous setting by the river and surrounded by mountains. Friendly service, yummy bar food and great bands line up!

Yelp
I'm not sure there's a restaurant with a better view in the state of Colorado. Nestled in Poudre Canyon, with a patio overlooking/on top the Poudre River, this place has a fun and funky style that is uniquely Colorado. It often hosts live music and has a ton of different seating options including a beautiful patio, a closed in porch, a bar, and a couple different places to watch live music. The food here is OK. It's not going to be something you'll write to tell your grandma about, but you won't leave hungry. The French fries are good and everything else is what you would expect for a mountain grill. There are a variety of food options for both carnivores and vegetarians, and some gluten free options; the jackfruit is a big hit with our vegetarian family member. A couple of warnings for those who are Big and Tall. The chairs are not particularly fat friendly; if you're about a 2XL, you're going to be uncomfortable sitting. There are several spots in the restaurant where the ceiling is about 6'5" so be prepared to duck. Wheelchair accessibility: overall fairly accessible. There are accessible parking spots but we didn't see any with access lanes for a wheelchair van. There is a little bump to get out to the patio, doable if you can wheely in a manual chair but most scooters would get stuck. Bathroom has an accessible stall; it isn't always open but there is a wheelchair accessible porta potty across the street. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. This place is worth a visit, we'll definitely be back as it's one of my in-laws' favorite places!

Yelp
I was at The Mish today at the next table from Kristi H. She harassed the entire staff and her server was actually Pablo, not Abbott. She seemed to have a great experience with Pablo who was actually her server. What a Karen taking to yelp to spread her poison. We heard Kristi say "I'm going to destroy you on Yelp". Shame on you Kristi H. Very entitled.

Yelp
Despite being a local of many many many years i have never been to the "mish". I have drove past it many times throughout the years, but this particular weekend after a lovely day of cross country skiing my friends that i was with wanted to stop by there for a drink afterwards. I agreed to go and check it out as i wanted to hang out with my friends a little longer. It was a relatively nice day out so we sat out back on the porch as some gals are still not comfortable with indoor dining due to covid. They do have the indoor outdoor pods out on the porch as well but we opted to not sit in those. As honestly there would be more germs in there than there would be in the actual inside. So we sat on the back porch at a table and enjoyed the view of the river and i guess the area where they have some of their concerts at. Most of my friends ordered beers and seemed to enjoy it. I ordered hot tea however. They brought out a box and you could choose which tea you wanted. That was nice. However, my water was luke warm. Definitely not hot like i was wanting after skiing nor was it worth paying for. i didn't want to complain in front of all my friends and ruin their time so i opted to drink the luke warm tea. I also ordered a hummus and veggies as I didn't pack lunch for our trip and i was hungry. The hummus was good and hence the reason for the better review. I did also appreciate the clearness that their menu was marked with gluten free and vegetarian items. That is always nice when you dont have to ask the server. Our server was okay. Not overly friendly but not rude. I doubt i will come back on my own as was i was not overly impressed, but if friends ever want to stop again i would go to hang with them.

Tim K.

Yelp
Good service in an interesting environment. The Burgers were cooked as we asked and the French fries were excellent.

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Over priced. Servers were rude. No bathroom just portapott that hadn't been pumped in a long time. Never will we go there again.

Yelp
We've driven by this place for years and this was our first time stopping in, so glad we did! From the outside you are expecting a dive bar, and not the good kind of dive...but once you walk through the door and see the view of the river and mountains you're glad you stopped. I was a little surprised when we were asked if we had a reservation, this did not seem like the place that would take reservations. Stopped in for lunch and asked for a table on the deck for more of their views. What a surprise to see the large deck overlooking the River and also their outdoor stage and concert area. Would love to come back for a concert! Nice selection on their menu, evidently they are known for their burgers but they also have their Mishawaka Specials. Good beer and drink selection too. We ordered fish and chips, green chili and the turkey, bacon and cheddar sandwich. Fish was great, unique batter and tarter sauce. Hot turkey sandwich with bacon was good. But the green chili was amazing! Service was a little slow (took off one star).

Kristi H.

Yelp
After coming here for 40 some years, don't think I'll be back. So, very sad. I was treated like I didn't matter. Only with a reservation, but the table I wanted was reserved, but the people don't show up the whole time, really. Waitress Abbot treated us like garbage. The food isn't even worth the gouging that they do, since they know it's the only stop till Walden. I'll continue to service Vern on my way up the canyon, but won't be going back to the Mish, you should have left it how it was...........SHAME ON YOU DANI GRANT.

Yelp
The patio is nice. They need a dishwasher and some better shows. I don't care for plastics in a sit down restaurant. I hope the n put the hummingbird feeders back up.

Yelp
I am updating my previous review of this venue. They don't even deserve a 1 but I have to give them something to post a review. We purchased VIP tickets and parking to see Samantha Fish WHEN THEY WENT ON SALE. We were informed that the concert was rescheduled to September so we changed our plans to accommodate the new date. Now just yesterday, Dylan, the Mish Box Office Manger, emailed me to let me know my VIP WERE CANCELLED. WHY? Dylan claims they oversold VIP so our tickets were cancelled. They oversell tickets. They created this problem and now they screw their customers. They had months to realize this supposed problem but waited until 3 weeks before the concert to tell us our tickets were cancelled. Dylan thinks it makes it up to us that he have been offered free GA Tickets to another concert during 2021 or 2022. What a bunch of crap. How can you guys be trusted again? You can't! A friend that also bought a VIP ticket was told that her ticket was cancelled too. It obvious that the Mish has others that wanted a VIP ticketed so they booted us out and cancelled our tickets. This is unprofessional and dirty handed. So now friends and family members of the Mish will be sitting in our seats and we got screwed. Not cool. We supported the Mish throughout the lockdown and through the entire winter. We froze having Thanksgiving on the Mish deck in the cold - JUST TO SUPPORT THE PLACE. Same thing on Valentines day and a slew of others. We tried to support the Mish out only to get screwed over by some very dishonest people running the Mish. The Mish claims they have over 200 GA tickets available. They insultingly invited us to purchase a GA ticket and come to the concert. What a joke. The Mish screwed up and now has no problem screwing over its long time supporting customers. I'm not sure how they live with themselves when they screw their customers over for something that is clearly their FAULT or due to their dishonesty. Either way, it was unprofessional to do us like that. Your solution is to pick certain VIP ticket holders and say "sorry. We've had a year to make sure we can do our job efficiently and correctly but alas, we cannot. But hey, we'll SELL you some GA tickets because we have plenty of those"? Are we pissed? You bet your ass we are! We will never darken your doors again and will constantly let people know what a fantastic crap show you have going on up there and how dishonest and deceitful you guys really are. Dylan you should be ashamed of yourself. You suck as a person. Your management skills and ability to solve this problem show your complete incompetence. Your mother should be slapped! Ticketing error? I highly doubt it! I hope your friends and family enjoy the show and enjoy knowing how awful you and they are for screwing us out tickets we paid for months and months ago. Avoid this place. Its being run by dishonest, despicable people.

Yelp
This place is literally out in the middle of nowhere. A fact that should be evident enough to you based on the multiple other reviews and notices on their website. We ventured out to the Mish for a summertime concert. No food was had on this trip. We splurged when purchasing our concert tickets & secures our parking spot, which is fairly limited. Take advantage of the buses/transport they make available from FoCo, especially if you plan on drinking. Beer prices were fairly reasonable given that this is a concert venue. $13 for 2 beers blew our minds considering we just paid $18 for 2 beers at Alamo Drafthouse the night before! The venue is pretty incredible & small. It makes for an intimate gathering spot unlike most concert venues that cater to megastars, neglecting the value of just experiencing the space & place. In retrospect, I kinda loved that they had no cell service bc it let me enjoy the experience, not worry about doing it for the gram! As for folks commenting on flies and such...you're out in nature. This place is basically a glorified picnic area so don't be freaked out if the cleanliness standards aren't the same as a urban setting.

Wade L.

Yelp
Not thrilled. They discriminate it seems to me on parties of 2. They try to load 2's into the bar and bar area and only let parties of 4+ outside it appeared the day we stopped. First the hostess told me because I had no reservation but the party of 5 behind me also said they had no reservation but the hostess seated them outside. Every party in the bar were groups of either 1-2. The bar tender was also trying to "waitress'" the bar area, plus the bar seating and make drinks for the entire establishment. Guess how that went for satisfactory service. Wished we hadn't bothered.
google avatar

Eric F.

Yelp
This was my first visit. They sure seem to be on top of Covid concerns with people sanitizing everything. We sat outside but were unable to extend the umbrella (management decision) due to time to time wind gusts that created concerns for a kite effect. The restrooms were outside portable outhouses similar to fairs and venues of that nature. The food was of great portion and everyone enjoyed their food (fish sandwich, burgers, chicken fingers). The view was wonderful, the drive serene and a band was playing for free (and rightfully so - the vocalist wasn't easy on the ears). I recommend this place for a spot to grab a bite along the river to break up your day drive.

Bob G.

Yelp
We had lunch at this restaurant today. It was a bit overpriced but the food was good. The service was okay, but I feel compelled to do a review because they add in a 4% "kitchen charge" to the tab without showing that on the menu. I guess they feel they have to sneak in a "kitchen charge" to make a profit. We won't be back because we don't do business with sneaky establishments.

S B.

Yelp
How can you not love this place?! The service was great and the food was even better! Best onion rings I have had in years. I ordered the kids size fish and chips and it was perfect. My only complaint was the french fries - just not the kind I like. The view....oh the view! Spectacular table right at the end of the patio overlooking a beautiful river. Would love to go to a show there but our visiting time didn't allow for that. We had a wonderful lunch and it lived up to what everyone told us!
google avatar

Kaylin R.

Yelp
Intimate setting with space to roam -- Went for an STS9 show and the sound was perfect and staff was helpful gracious and friendly. A well run outfit. Will certainly say yes to more shows there now that I've gotten a taste for it.
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
We went here as a spontaneous way to have a decent first COVID birthday. I'd never been, but certainly heard of it. The experience was amazing. We walked in and got a nice table near the fireplace and they started me off with a free birthday shot and a Mish Ale - a custom Odell offering only sold here. In terms of the food, I had a burger with pepper jack and sautéed onion. The place did an excellent job with bringing sanitized condiments, etc. to the table and it was a nice to see a bottle of ketchup instead of packets or other inconveniences. Also a treat was the A1 sauce tableside that can really kick off the flavor of a burger - try it if you haven't. I was able to have another Mish Ale as I finished off my meal and it really was good. Fries although probably not too proprietary were really great. Atmosphere is the best there is. I will be taking my family here next time they are in town and the weather is good.
google avatar

Brock E.

Yelp
The atmosphere was great next to the River, even though a band wasn't playing. The food was good too.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful scenery, staff is always super nice, and they have great concerts on the weekends!

Yelp
We have been here several times, and they always have a 15-20 minute wait, when there is plenty of tables available! They even asked if we had a reservation, lol. The staff is not friendly at all!!! We decided to sit at the bar this last visit (2 weeks ago), because their was a 15 minute wait!(again lots of open tables). The bartender walked by us about 6 times, without any acknowledgement. This place needs to up their game in customer service!!! We told ourselves the last time we were there, we would never go back. However, we gave this joint another shot, and it was another disappointment. Won't be going back.

Jeff D.

Yelp
Just had a wonderful time with family. The food was great, the staff was so much fun and the location (on the Cache la Poudre) was perfect!!! We'll go back! Oh, so Many famous singers have performed there. They have pictures everywhere and it was very very interesting. It's my understanding that a lot of groups will perform there (unannounced) To prep for red rocks and the altitude!!!

Bethany K.

Yelp
Perfection! Good food! Good music! Great setting! We've lived in Northern Colorado for nearly 4 years. It has been on our to do list since we moved! It did not disappoint.
google avatar

Greg A.

Yelp
What a great spot right on the river the cocktails are great the food is OK. They have these hummingbird feeders hanging over the river with tons of hummingbirds you could literally watch them all day. They also have a concert venue

Cali S.

Yelp
Great food and great scenery. Beautiful mountains and the poudre river is right outside. The staff is really unreal. Always friendly and courteous. I love this place and highly, highly recommend it.
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
So yummy and a beautiful ambiance!!!! We enjoyed a yummy burger next to the running river and even saw mountain rams! I had a wonderful experience (:

Yelp
Wha a fantastic place for live music, food, and a great views. We held our wedding ceremony here last week and had a wonderful experience. The manager, Gary Duvall was extremely helpful in making this day special for us. The staff went above and beyond to have us seated quickly and take our food and beverage orders. A perfect location right on the river, clean mountain air, and spectacular views of the canyon. Thank you to the dedicated staff for all of your hard work and making this a truly special day.
google avatar

Yelp
I want to thank the entire staff at Mishawaka !! We went to eat diner on 10/3 2020. One of our friends had a medical issue, and the staff was more than helpful. I wish I would have gotten names but I didn't I would recommend Mishawaka any day to anybody BTW the food is always yummy Thanks again to the staff you were amazing Dave Rosh

Veronica M.

Yelp
We drove up to have lunch for an early Father's Day treat on Saturday. The food was great. The history of the place, plus the river rolling by underneath us as we ate was quite the atmosphere. Our waiter Zach was excellent, so sweet and happy to answer all of our questions about the place. Thanks!

Martin G.

Yelp
The Mish has turned into a dive bar. No indoor restrooms even durning afternoon concerts (no running water to wash your hands), they don't take cash any longer and the food is now greasy (has always been expensive). The view from the deck is the only good part.
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
Had a great experience while on a road trip. A lot of history and ambiance. Food was very good, our table ordered different items and they were all spot on. Service was exceptional! Make sure you make reservations as this place is a "secret" for the locals!

L N.

Yelp
The waitress, Porkchop was outstanding! She knew a lot about the history of the Amish and was happy to share! The food was amazing, and we can't wait to go back!

Brandy H.

Yelp
Great "little" place in the river for lunch or dinner. We didn't stay for the show... but the amphitheater looks like an amazing experience! Worth the drive if you are looking for something to do while in Fort Collins. Support small/local businesses!!

Yelp
Great music venue in the middle of nowhere. Many phenomenal acts have played here including The Lumineers. My friend and I went here to see EDM mainstay Desert Dwellers. We arrived early and had a few pints with our food. My chicken fingers and fries ordered was tasty. Our waitress was nice. The venue is cool and well built right by this beautiful river. I encourage you to check this place out. We biked here so I can't review getting on a bus to this destination, which is how many people visit here.
google avatar

Eddie W.

Yelp
Got the Fish and Chips. I know not to order that in the mountains of Colorado but but I was in the mood for it. The food arrived and the fish was really soggy cold and really really oily. It was definitely the worse meal I ever had at a resteraunt .The fries were the same way. I would give it 0 stars but thats not an option. The views are beautiful and the waitress was ok. Its like the cook didn't even try.
google avatar

Melissa W.

Yelp
Craving a beer on your drive through Poudre Canyon? I would definitely recommend stopping at The Mish! Masks are necessary to walk through the restaurant to your table, but once you arrive at your table you can remove your mask. This restaurant has a really great area for seating outside along the Cache la Poudre Canyon River. We sat right next to the river, and I would dare to say we had the best spot in the house! I ordered the Mish Burrito from their "Mish Specialties" and for a $17 chicken burrito I would have to say it was nothing special. It wasn't "smothered in green chili" as the description says, and the onions and jalapeños it was topped with were raw. In my mind I was comparing it to a Chipotle burrito which I think is way tastier for the price. Regardless, the outdoor seating next to the river makes up for any lack in food or service. I would definitely recommend you stop by for a cold, refreshing beverage and to chill by the river for a moment on your way home!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were camping in Bellvue and decided to give this place a try and we're so glad we did. I'll admit, it was a very busy afternoon and so we sat at the bar and drank during a long wait, but it was well worth it. The customer service is awesome and the food was just as good. We were so hungry we ordered quite a few different things, but everything was delicious! We live in Denver and honestly will make the drive up to come back to this place and get some hikes in.

M C.

Yelp
Got the Fish and Chips. The food arrived and the fish was really soggy and really oily. The fries were the same way. It's like the cook didn't even try. The waitress was attentive and responsive. The kitchen manager needs training. The views are beautiful, the venue playful, so 6 stars for that.

Yelp
Ever tried Rocky Mountain Oysters? Yeah, me neither, but they're on the menu here if you ever get a hankering for deep fried buffalo testicles! Actually, the food here is really good, so I'm sure they are too, if I was into that kinda thing. :) Drive up the Poudre for a real treat in the mountains. It's a lodgy bar with a few TVs and a little dining area that hangs over the river, super cozy and cute. The staff is very friendly and allowed us to wander around the concert areas. Holy crap! I am so bummed I've never seen a show here because it is literally too cool for words. I've been to Red Rocks and the Gorge, Telluride even, but this place just looks like so much fun. Let me try to explain for you flatlanders out there: The bar/venue is located in a mountain canyon cut by the Cache La Poudre river. You can reach it by heading into the mountains west of Fort Collins. It will be on the right after about 45 minutes, and a bunch of windy turns but nothing scary. So as I mentioned above, the bar itself is pretty cool, and you can look straight down into the river from the dining area. The concert venue is outside, pretty much hanging over the river. There is a large deck on the back of the bar, a little beachy gravel area and a stage that hangs over the river. Beautiful and amazing. They host some big names in the summer, bluegrass, jam bands, jazz. It's only poor luck that I've never been in the area at the right time to catch a show, but after seeing the venue I know I need to make a better effort next year.
