Comfortable coffee shop on Logan. This location has a variety of burritos and a breakfast sandwich as well as some food for lunch. In addition to a standard range of coffee drinks, they have wine on offer. Service is fast and friendly. The space is fairly large with varied seating. The space has local art for sale on the walls none of which appealed to me on this visit. They had mellow music playing at a comfortable level which was very relaxing. There is password protected Wi-Fi available for guests. Parking can be difficult. There are a few spaces in a lot in back (accessible via Almeda), but there may be none available during hours when the other businesses are open.

Google
The Venetian cream coffee was excellent! There are plenty of caffeinated drinks to order from the menu. They also serve breakfast sandwiches that are bon appetit!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in all of Denver. I remember I used to pass it every day and one day I added it to the rotation for my weekly coffee meetups. I am so glad I did! Do not just continue to drive by this place and not try the coffee. they even have a drive-through location on Broadway, which I would highly recommend if you are in a hurry. In the fall, you have to try the white pumpkin spice latte, it is literally the most unique latte I’ve ever had.

Google
Popped into this cafe in Denver, and while the prices were a bit steep, they're what you'd expect around here. The service was alright; the lady serving was really friendly but seemed swamped, doing it all on her own. There was a bloke there too but not as chatty, and he wasn't serving. Coffee was banging, and the snacks were spot on. Didn't try the wines or drinks, but the tunes were the real winner for me – always a sucker for good music. The vibe's proper nice, great spot to chill for a bit.

Google
Nice coffe shop at the corner with Logan st and Alameda, been there for the first time and enjoyed the ambient, the vibes and the drinks! Espresso martini was good. Missed live music but will be back for that! They're also opening soon another location on south broadway area. Will check that out!

Google
One of my new favorite coffee shops. Their wide selection of drinks was impressive. I had their peppermint Paige and it was splendid! It was nice and featured great calm music for a fantastic remote work environment. It is almost an art gallery and perfect for Instagram Will come back again 👍

Google
My wife, adult son & I visited this coffee shop in Denver yesterday afternoon and had a good experience. The location is convenient, parking is limited and kinda difficult, the outside and inside of the coffee shop is decorated interestingly, the person who took our order was friendly enough, my coffee (very expensive; only one kind of coffee was available when I ordered) was tasty, the zucchini bread I ordered was delicious but dry, there was an adequate amount of seating, but only one truly comfortable seat in the whole dining room, the dining room was clean and maintained that way while we were there, a small band played for part of the time we were there (it was okay), the dining room were so loud we could barely hear each other talk, and the restroom was very nicely decorated, clean & did not smell.

Google
The decor was different than any I had seen. I was mesmerized. The latte art was great. The mocha was okay. Overall, The Molecule Effect is a pretty cool place.

Yelp
A coffee shop with a bar?! What more could you want! We got two specialty drinks that were very good! We both switched up our usual orders to try something unique, and we weren't disappointed. The cocktails were classics, but they were done right. We sat tucked away in some cozy arm chairs and could have stayed for hours. It's a very lowkey vibe with great drinks!

Yelp
Big fan of The Molecule Effect - from my understanding they're undergoing new ownership and will soon have a new name and maybe a new vibe, so want to note this review is in regards to the old version. I used to come here on the occasional weekday to get work done and always enjoyed my time. They have a good selection of tables - some with outlets - and a really fun artsy decor. Coffee is good with the usual selection and since they go into bar mode at night, their cocktails and booze selection was nice as well. I also noticed NA options which is always appreciated. They do have some breakfast foods, but not as wide a selection as other coffee shops. They're only veggie burrito option was also gluten free which while good, wasn't anything I'd drool over.

Yelp
Had the espresso martini! It was wonderful. Cool vibes. I always stop by here when I'm in Denver for any reason!

Yelp
Where do you park? I parked across the street & up a block in the residential neighborhood. Once I arrived, I took a look at the menu online & at the hanging menu boards. This shop serves alcohol which includes cocktails, beer, & wine. They also offer mocktails. The seating is kind of compact. Not much room to walk by people occupying chairs. The chairs are metal except for the couch & 2 padded chairs. I only sat long enough to finish my Latte & bolt. The barista was not at all cordial. I stood at the counter waiting for her to come take my order after making some Espresso Martinis. She decided to clear dishes without acknowledging me. I don't mind waiting, I do mind being ignored. I didn't feel the "molecule effect" that this business touts. On a positive note, the barista did make my Autumn Rose Latte very nicely. I really enjoyed it once I put the aforementioned attitude behind me. When I finished, I cleared my cup and put it in the bin with the other dirty dishes. I nodded to the barista who barely looked at me. She didn't say anything and she wasn't taking or making an order. Lastly, would I come back here? Probably not. I didn't feel welcome here, & there are other coffee shops that have & will treat me well. I'm visiting from another state, so this meh service & parking situation won't prompt me to go through the hassles to get back here again. Their other location is closed and that was the one I wanted to visit originally.

Yelp
Came for some espresso martinis. Feeling nostalgic today. Worked a bit and enjoyed the views. Service was quick they served both martinis at once so that was interesting lol Always a necessary stop on any Saturday.

Yelp
I FINALLY came to The Molecule Effect today. This is a much talked about place in Denver that serves coffees/teas and cocktails. For someone like me who is an avid fan of spending a quality time in a shop like this, it was a much-anticipated visit. Conveniently located on the southeast corner of Alameda and Logan, when this arctic vortex is enveloping the entire country with sub zero temperatures (in mid-January of 2024) in some states, it was a fitting thing for me and my adult daughter to bring a few books, a laptop and journals to enjoy a few hours in the afternoon to cozy up in the corner of the shop. Very cool vibes! The background music's volume was just right; it was soothing to our souls. Lo-Fi with a little infusion of jazz or occasional light funk is what I describe the music as; this type of music never goes wrong at a place like this. People around us were extremely considerate; they were very quiet. It was as if there was an unwritten rule to quiet their voices down so that they would not be distracting to others that are enjoying their quiet moments. I've been to coffee shops where it was simply too loud to do anything personal. My daughter got the matcha latte, I got me one of the milk teas (called cambric, a foamed milk with a tea bag in it. The kind I got was earl gray.) The huge black mugs had plenty for us to sip for the few hours we were there. Friendly/easygoing staff. Two-person tables are along the windows. Several four-seater high top tables are/were present. There is also a 8-person big table all the way to the back where you can sit by yourself and share the space with strangers. Or you can sink in one of the couches to feel like a couch potato to enjoy a little daydreaming. Some artists contribute by displaying their artworks; this is throughout the shop. I enjoyed the mural in one of the bathrooms. They stay open until 9pm (ish). You can grab a quick bite to eat at a nearby restaurant and come here for a cocktail or two (this is not to say that this place doesn't offer food. You should definitely check out the food menu. We didn't get any at our visit though so we will get us some bite to eat next time we are here.)

Yelp
We went here with some friends for trivia on a Thursday night. The space was smaller and on the cozy side - both a coffee shop and cocktail/beer/wine nighttime spot! They only had four beers on tap, of which two were out. I got a beer from TRVE which was solid; after, I got the "lavender, I hardly knew her" because I love lavender and it was delicious (had some hibiscus in there too). The acoustics for trivia were pretty bad - luckily we could read the questions ourselves online but the sound system could definitely be improved upon. Overall, pleasant experience with some fun drinks.

Yelp
Was driving by the area, saw this place, and couldn't not stop by for a morning coffee. Upon entering I realize it's a dual cafe and bar and wow their happy hour looks awesome! My pistachio latte was also awesome and I had one of their gluten free dairy free small local pre-made breads. The ambiance and aesthetic of this place are 10/10. And the coffee is delicious espec with their house made syrups. I will be back

Yelp
I really want to give this place 5 stars but I can't yet! I always enjoy my coffee here and the atmosphere is so comfortable and eclectic. Unfortunately the service is very average if not below average, the staff never seems happy and I only get 1-word answers when I try to make conversation. It brings me down. But I continue to go in since I can walk over and everything else is excellent!

Yelp
Ooooo shocked I haven't written a review for Molecule Effect already! I've spent a fair chunk of time here over the last few years and is one of my more reliable coffee/bar hang outs in my rotation. You know the drill by now, I'm always looking for a place to pop up with my laptop over a good cup of coffee. Bonus points for places like Molecule Effect, where you can even grab wine, beer or a cocktail after hours. Denver does these places well, and Molecule should be in the conversation when you're looking for a coffee by day/bar by night vibe. I personally prefer coming here at night during the week when they don't have events going on. It's relatively quiet, yet in a cool comfortable environment. I can really hunker down and get work done. And if I want to grab a beer or glass of wine when I'm done, I have the option to turn my dream into a reality. They started doing trivia and live music and drag bingo (Wed-Fri), which is great for community focused gatherings. But if you happen to be looking to get work done during one of these events, don't expect to accomplish much. They do serve a few food items, all your standard coffee and tea beverages, a nice wine selection, canned beer and a cocktail menu. You can even add 10mg of CBD to your drink! Overall a solid choice for lounging with a book, having a date night or getting work done.

Yelp
Service was pretty fast and they had a variety of options! Inside was cleaned and had enough chairs to have a seat and hangout. I'd recommend this place for brunch coffee or evening drinks!

Yelp
Went here for the first time today to get a little bit of work done. This shop had a great atmosphere, tons of people working, and not too loud. I loved all of the coffee options and deals they offer and was so excited when I found that they offer a 20 oz option. As a coffee lover, sometimes I have to order two of the smaller cups to get my fill at other places! I highly recommend the lavender brown sugar latte. I'm still feeling pumped and ready to go from this morning!

Yelp
The service was great. Thanks, Nate. It's espresso martini night... that's BOGO. Hooray!!! Great martini, regardless of BOGO. Environment is hip with tall tables, couch, wall space for solos, and changing art. We had a great time.
google avatar

Lisa N.

Yelp
Came here for trivia night- love that it was offered at a coffee shop/cocktail lounge! All of our drinks were FANTASTIC- I loved my hot cocoa and steamer. My friends loved their cocktails. Downside was the food- they lack options, and were out of half the menu when we came in. Wish we could've brought food in for trivia....

Yelp

Yelp
Always come in for a delish espresso martini buy 1 get one every Saturday but today I wanted to try a spiked dirty chai that warmed my soul. Always great service and viby tunes

Yelp
This place was a cute pleasant surprise. I frequent another restaurant right around the corner and every time I'd walk by here I always made a point to say I needed to come back and try it soon. I finally did with my bestie last night during their happy hour! It was such a chill atmosphere. Quiet, relaxing. The staff here were nice and helpful. We ordered an early grey martini and a cosmopolitan. Both tasted amazing. I'll definitely try and come back again soon with friends to catch up after the holidays and introduce them to the Molecule Effect!
google avatar

Yelp
The vibe is always right. Dope art, chill music, great people. You can never go wrong with the Brown Sugar Lavender Mocha, in fact it's the only place I order this signature drink-tasty. The people running the place are super chill and efficient with the orders, as always. Coffee meeting, catching up with an old friend, business, school, new friends... overall this is a great place to vibe and chit chat.
google avatar

Yelp
Moderately, okay. Went for trivia on Thursday with a group of six. We were early for trivia but server left in the middle of our table ordering to move on to another table. Tried ordering at the bar but the bartender explained he had tickets to make and we needed to order from the server. For the price, not worth the service in my opinion. Won't be returning. Menu prices are current from google. See picture.

Yelp
Someone asked me out for coffee, and I suggested the Wash Park Molecule Effect because I'd already been to the Santa Fe location. Why waste an opportunity to check off a new spot on Yelp? The parking situation here is a little better but still has time limitations. I got here early to order an autumn rose latte, find a seat next to an electrical outlet, and crank out some emails. Personally I like the Santa Fe location more in terms of customer service and vibe. On this particular day, they were understaffed. This coffeeshop overall is more open and has more seating, but I love the special events they seem to have, i.e. music and comedy. The latte itself was fantastic, and I'd totally order it again. Love both locations either way!
google avatar

Karen N.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this place. First, every time I've visited there's been seating available and wifi never disappoints. Second, the employees are always super kind and have my drinks ready within 10-20min. Third, you get what you pay for. Although the cost of the drinks are on the higher ish end for a lot of people, the quality is amazing. I read a couple of reviews about food taking a long time, and yes we definitely waited a while for our flatbread but we didn't mind it. The only thing I would say is that if you're going during busy hours it might take you a bit to find parking! I'll need to come back for when there's events and karaoke nights!
google avatar

Yelp
2.5 stars. I've been to the Sante Fe location a few times and liked it; this was my first time at the Wash Park location. I had a breakfast burrito (the chorizo one that I've liked at the other location). I don't know if they changed their vendor or what happened, but yuck. One side of the burrito was wet and the other was so dry and crumbly, which was bizarre and unappetizing. And they now charge for salsa (green and goopy instead of the red salsa before). A small breakfast burrito, a tiny plastic container of salsa, tax, and tip was $10+, and it didn't even taste good. No thanks. 1 star for the burrito, rounded up to 2.5 stars overall because the vibe was decent and the baristas were friendly.

Yelp
Shame on me for not rating this fabulous coffee shop sooner! I've been here quite a few times over the past year and I'm never disappointed by the service, drinks or ambiance. I first visited for drag bingo which was so much fun! Love that this establishment supports the LGBTQ+ community. The service is always impeccable and they are very attentive. I love their buy one get one free espresso martini deal on Saturdays, not to mention their weekly live music. Highly recommend this modern and fun spot for anyone looking for a nice cup of coffee or to enjoy a snazzy cocktail and good book.

Yelp
For morning coffee shop I think this place is very calming. If you're staying a while to do some work, The atmosphere set up is really nice with a bunch of artwork, and the lighting is great. The thing is, when I went, it was pretty early still around nine or 10 o'clock. Most of their breakfast items were not available or sold out. The only thing that was available to eat was a breakfast burrito and one very last almond croissant. I'm so happy I got that almond croissant because it was one of the best almond croissants I've ever had, if you get a chance to try it, ask him to heat it up for a bit! I do think this place would be great during the night. They have a full bar and it looks like they have a place for live entertainment. However, I only had the daytime experience. Customer service is not the best, it is very mediocre. They will fix your coffee and give it to you and that's about it. I love how they do give you a coffee they write on the glass with a white marker which I think is different and classic. The coffee was not very memorable, however, the aesthetic was, and the almond croissant was!
google avatar

Sebastian E.

Yelp
I absolutely adore this place. It has everything you need to chill and/or be productive....bottomless drip coffee, alcoholic refreshments, food, A/C, comfy couches, and outlets! Easy to post up and get work done, or catch up with your buds.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Love the coffee but not a fan of the vibe. To each his/her own. I prefer more cozy, earthy, chill vibes over the hipster thing. That's just me but I'd come back for the coffee :)
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
My wife and I came back here after hearing about the live music on Friday nights. The place was mostly empty and we were able to grab a table right away. My wife had an iced autumn rose latte and I had a draft beer. I stole some sips of the latte and it was excellent! We talked about coming back for breakfast - the menu had some affordable sandwiches and I'm very interested in trying the (NA) bourbon barrel aged nitro coffee. The vibe here is chill and it's nice that they have coffee and booze available in the evening. They had several vegetarian and vegan options for food, art throughout the space, and a small patio. This is a great hangout spot!
google avatar

Tes S.

Yelp
Loved the vibe and came for an oat milk latte. Was a little disappointed that I got a to-go cup instead of a yummy mug but didn't want to make a fuss (so make sure to ask for the mug when you order!) will come back when in this neighborhood.... and have to try coming when they have live music!

Yelp
INTERNET CHALLENGES. After dropping $50 on food and coffee we discovered the internet was out. This place is often used by people to get on their laptops. What I thought would be a productive morning turned into a costly time suck since we were trapped into staying due to the purchase of food/beverage. Recommendation to management: Baristas should be transparent with customers about lack of internet prior to purchase. Or put a courtesy sign up letting people know. This would be an example of thoughtful customer service. Recommendation to patrons: The place is beautiful inside with a great vibe. You will get charged .35 cents to put hot sauce on your burrito. I recommend calling in advance to verify the Internet works if that is important to you.
google avatar

Joy Q.

Yelp
Cool spot Overpriced coffee and lattes. Saw many breakfast food items as well. Will try next time
google avatar

Selena Y.

Yelp
Laidback coffeeshop with good coffee and cool artwork. The space seems great for also getting some work done - I came Friday early afternoon, and there were at least 4 or 5 tables of people with their laptops. As for coffee, I thought the pistachio white mocha was a tad too sweet for me (but anyone with a sweet tooth will like it!), while the autumn rose latte had just the right balance of subtly rosy flavor and espresso. They also offer food, wine, and cocktails here. I noticed a sign mentioning live music on Friday nights, which would be fun to check out next time.
google avatar

Jess R.

Yelp
Every latte I've ever had here is so great! They find a way to make the lattes so creamy even with alternative milk. This is a fun place to work especially if you like a busy coffee shop. Tables tend to stay and work - it can be hard to snag a table if you come at the wrong time.
google avatar

Shannon V.

Yelp
Love this place for its cozy ambiance and d drink selection - both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. Great place to meet friends or just relax alone with a book.
google avatar

Madison M.

Yelp
Both locations are wonderful. Great spot to catch up with a friend over coffee, cocktails or small plates. Also comfortable for working or studying, and not too loud. I had a delicious espresso martini today and my friend had a glass of sangria. Love the and intimate interior and holiday decor. I am dying to check out the open mic every Thursday! Also I think they do happy hour Mon - Saturday from 5 to 7pm.
google avatar

Melanie G.

Yelp
This place is cool. They have a great vibe and neon art. They also have live music, trivia, and all the events. If you're looking for great coffee and a smiling staff I would search elsewhere, however. Every drink I've had has been sub par and none of the baristas give off any kind of a warm feeling, whatsoever. I give it four stars because beyond that the vibe for reading, journaling, working, or meet ups really is stellar.
google avatar

Chloe R.

Yelp
WOW this location of The Molecule Effect is incredible! I'd been to the Saran Fe Arts District one and liked our drinks, but felt that it was a little crowded. This location was super spacious, relatively quiet, had ALL the vibes, and was overall everything I wanted the other location to be. Service was super friendly - we were recommended the autumn rose latte (SO good) as well as their Wednesday special: 50% off a bottle of wine. Made for a wonderfully celebratory end-of-work-day ritual, and an overall great afternoon. Highly recommend trying this spot out!

Lauren S.

Yelp
The coffee was okay- nothing crazy. They make their own syrups in house which is nice. The latte I had was almost $9 which is ridiculous. The oatmilk or almond milk switch is $1.25... what a scam. Other coffee shops charge maybe .70 which is still a lot but 1.25 is ridiculous.

Yelp
I found this place by accident. I was driving down the road and saw it on the corner of alameda and Logan. It struck me as unusual because there were people sitting inside and I had been having a difficult time finding a coffee shop with dine in during Covid. I yelped it and only found a few bits of info but the place was too interesting to pass up. While their dining room is open (I was there on 6/19) you do have to wear your mask while in the shop except when eating/drinking but it isn't an issue. They're really sanitary and even have these signs to indicate if a table has been disinfected I like the music and the atmosphere. It kinda has this comic book hipster vibe which is right up my alley. The menu has really different options than the average coffee shop with things like an autumn rose latte, brown sugar lavender latte (what I got) as well as some eats and liquors. The service was friendly and quick and they offer fair prices. The only downside is there is no parking so you're limited to finding street parking and walking. I'll most likely be coming back as they're they only place I've found open in my area and because of the things mentioned above.

Alisa C.

Yelp
Staff is so rude you can tell they hate their lives and their job. Coffee is pretty good

Yelp
In Denver for a week in early 2023 & this location was conveniently located a block from my Airbnb. It was pretty quiet for a Tuesday at 8:30 am which worked out for me! The drinks are just as good as the original on Santa Fe. It's a bit roomier here compared to their other locations.
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
BIG fan of this location of Molecule Effect. While the original location on Santa Fe is great, this location is newer with more seating and a much cuter vibe. I often order the Pumpkin Chai, a breakfast burrito and/or the brown sugar lavender latte. They also recently let me reserve a table in advance for a WFH event, super helpful There is of course, free wifi and power, too.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now to study and it's pretty cozy. I have been during the happy hour like 5/6ish to 7/8ish and there's generally less people so it's easy to grab a table or snag the couch. They have good deals on wine and beer during this time. Their coffee is great too. I haven't had a chance to try their food yet but will soon!
google avatar

Tyler D.

Yelp
I literally love The Molecule Effect so much. Such a vibey place to study with bottomless mimosas one day and buy one espresso martini get another free on another day. Every day of the week something is happening and it's always a good time. I The Molecule Effect

Yelp
Great coffee and atmosphere! I highly recommend the Oatmilk latte! Friendly staff and fun artwork! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Denver!

Yelp
It's a crisp fall day and the pumpkin spice and maple leaf lattes we got were absolutely delightful. It was my first time visiting and I really liked the vibes inside. Will definitely be back again!

Ruby M.

Yelp
A group of friends and I came to The Molecule Effect for their trivia night and were very disappointed. They don't allow outside food which I can understand, but then they had extremely limited options for food and drinks. Their online menu was also inaccurate and we tried to order several things from the menu (THREE different beers, a charcuterie board, and a flatbread) and were told they had either run out or did not sell them at all. Our server told us the online menu is really out of date. The Mediterranean flatbread we did get was pre-made, bland, lukewarm, and nowhere near worth $15. The negroni I had was fine, but if you're going to host a trivia night at 7pm please either allow food or have decent options. Added 1 star because the facility was clean and nicely decorated. It is probably a fine place for coffee during the day, but I recommend avoiding this place for trivia.
google avatar

Meeta A.

Yelp
This place is open until late. And is a bar and coffee place! There's plenty of seating. We ordered matcha latte less ice and mocha. The matcha latte was disappointing, had a lot lot of ice. Mocha was okay. Meh.
