"Last weekend I checked out Kwong Shop, a new potsticker pop-up that’s operating out of an apartment in Mid-Wilshire. Not only was there a real life corgi welcoming me at the pick-up location (can this become the industry standard, please?), but the cook-at-home potstickers themselves were excellent. I loved the peppery savoriness of the Impossible potsticker, but the mushroom was the star of the show. Stuffed with two types of mushroom, cabbage, garlic, sesame oil, and vinegar, it tastes earthy and umami-heavy, but the bitterness of the vinegar cuts through those flavors perfectly. Also, be sure to order a bottle of the Kwong sauce - it’s a sweet, aromatic soy sauce that’s an old family recipe of the chefs. I’ve been putting it on basically everything I’ve eaten this week. - BC" - the infatuation los angeles crew

Better than most of South LA barber, my new spot and recommend anyone who wants a clean cut. Chill people and great environment, definitely a win(no bias) 👍

Awesome barbershop. They’re open on Sundays and it was easy to get a schedule for 3 of us at the same time. Thank you

Review is long over due as I've been going here for a few years now and always been happy w/my hair cuts! after years of horror stories w/other random barbers but Mr Kim takes his time and does a great job and doesn't simply just weed wack your hair w/a pair of clippers like others. Update as of a few weeks ago - this place has been closed for some time, last cut was around 2 months ago for me and when I went the place was closed. After waiting for some time when i got there around 8am a gentleman in one of the neighboring business mentioned he hasn't seen him in over a month! No other news than that but I really hope he is doing well!!?? If anyone has any updates please post. thx!

I love this guy. I've been going here for 2 years now and have spoken a total of 4 words every time I visit. Hello, just a trim. Off too work he goes. He gives me the best cuts I've had in LA. Friends of mine pay 100's at overrated barbers and then marvel at what is the art piece called my hair. After receiving his pampered treatment for 2 years I would now be disappointed if a barber didn't vacuum my face after a haircut

Love this dude. Simple, fast, no-nonsense haircuts. I haven't really tried to communicate with him (don't speak Korean, unclear how much English he speaks/understands) but I don't NEED to! I just sit down and he goes to work. I'm always happy with the results. He's super thorough and detail oriented. Also - he bangs your head with a vacuum at the end. What's not to love??!

My boyfriend gets the best haircut here, no kidding. Crack me up every time he pulls out the vacuum machine. We have tried a couple of other shops but this is by far the BEST.

Yelp
Overall Shitty. To be honest, wanted to give this place a chance & (possibly) a good review as I appreciate a few young guys doing their thing. Still, haircut was UNEVEN, fade was off, and the jokers running this SHAM were pretty much obnoxious & probably drunk. $50+ was a laughable waste of time & money. Got my hair fixed a few blocks down on 8th ave. WISH I could have avoided this SHIT MISTAKE OF A BUSINESS before WASTING my time & money!!!
