The Mucky Duck Bar

A surprisingly good experience. We were recommended this place over ‘lion and the crown’ by friends in the area and enjoyed our food and the overall bar atmosphere. The bar was attentive and playing solid music at a tolerably loud volume. It’s lit like most bars and is clean on tables and floors. The service is fast and consistent. The food was surprisingly thoughtful and generous. I recommend the fries and burger.

My idea of how to prepare a hamburger and theirs are very different. I did like their burger and fries, but have had better at other places. Will try other menu items on next visit. Service was very good. Real nice bar tenders. Very clean restroom, and bar service area. This restaurant and bar is not a very big place, so I would not book a big party there with more than 30 people so as not to over crowd it.

Second time coming here and have ordered food both times. I thought the food was just really good the first time because I had a few drinks. Went back again and had the food early on and it was just as good - best bar food around. Great selection of beers and the bartenders are always very friendly and quick. Classic pub atmosphere with good music that is loud enough to hear but quiet enough you can comfortably hold a conversion. Great place to get a drink and /or food.

I usually come here just for a beer or two. It’s a nice spot to just hang out with friends and they do have live music sometimes. I went on a Saturday night around 9ish, there was 2 ladies working at the time, it wasn’t super busy but it was busy enough for them. Those ladies killed it, they were hitting every table and were very attentive. I ordered Queso, wings and a pretzel, food was good! I also ordered a green tea shot and I had 2 beers. I’m going to keep coming here.

This was a fun pub! Bartender was super cool and funny! Not the greatest selection of whisky (sometimes they have allocates), but a nice fun lowkey bar in the area! Prices were great too! Would go again!

A great dive. All the bartenders I have dealt with have been great. I've been getting drinks here from time to time for years and have never had a bad experience!

The bartender/server was very abrupt and not personal at all. She was attentive but rude at the same time. We felt she was judging base on our age which I will always protest against. Food and drinks were good.
