"Since launching with two flavors of craft-made NA ginger beer in 2018, Devil’s Foot Beverage Company has steadily expanded its alcohol-free brands, production, and distribution. Collaborations with local breweries produced cocktail-inspired, zero-alcohol canned drinks like the Dark & Stormy with Highlands and NA Negroni with Burial Beer. In addition to stocking over 40 bottles of North Carolina-made spirits behind the bar, the Mule Tasting Room has Devil’s Foot beverages on tap, NA beer, and mocktail versions of house cocktails in its manufacturing facility." - Kay West

The Mule at Devils Foot Brewery is an absolute gem! The location and atmosphere are amazing. You can enjoy a game of cornhole outside, and there’s a massive projector screen for sports enthusiasts. Whether you’re with a big group or a couple, they’ve got you covered with their spacious seating options, including comfy couches. The water station with provided plastic cups for refills is a thoughtful touch. But what steals the show are the Devil’s Foot sodas – they’re refreshingly unique, free from that syrupy taste of regular sodas. My personal favorites are the Black Tea Lemonade, Peach Lemonade, and the Vodka Lemonade. This place is a must-visit for hanging out with friends and family. It’s even kid-friendly with a ping pong table and plenty of room for outdoor activities like street hockey. Highly recommended!

Sadly our experience was more of a .09 than the current overall rating. We ordered margaritas and a vodka martini and they were the worst we’ve ever had in our lives. AND it was $50 for three cocktails and one beer. Our margaritas were made with club soda, and the martini had at least a half ounce of vermouth. Please teach the bartender how to make your basic mixed drinks. I am not about bashing local businesses and always want them to succeed but at that rate it’s not going to make it. Perhaps it was a fluke, and I hope that was the case for the sake of the business.

We were excited when this place opened as a nice place to hang out and get NA drinks. As previously mentioned by some reviewers, they are a bit off the beaten path and don’t seem to get a ton of traffic. To combat that, I think they really push events, public and private. That’s fine, but I wish they would post when they are closed for a private event. I’ve shown up maybe 3-4 times in the past handful of months only to find out they are closed for an event. I won’t attempt to go back and waste my time based on that track record. Unfortunate since we did enjoy the few times we were actually able to go in.

The Mule is a great place for an event and can easily fit a large group. The service is top notch and their team does a great job making you feel welcome. If you are looking for somewhere to take kids during the winter months this is your place. There are board games, ping pong, TVs and plenty of room to play with toys. Bring your own food and pair it with some tasty Devil’s Foot drinks and you won’t be disappointed.

This place ROCKS!! I LOVE what these guys & gals are doing for our community. Their ginger beer/soda/craft cocktails are all delicious and so tasty. Check out their specialty cocktails which constantly change with the seasons. Love the large, open space surrounded by pallets of cans, making you feel truly immersed in the product. The location is great and close to everything in Asheville along with plenty of parking. Do yourself a favor and do not miss this place!

The Mule hosted a group of about 15 colleagues for my team and we had a great time! The large tables were decorated with poinsettias and holiday decor which made set up so easy! Working with Miranda and the staff at The Mule was simple and we got great service while we were there. Highly recommend this location for any group, large or small!

Great space. Huge potential! No food but the beers were good. There was a rotating selection from local breweries. And the bar was well-stocked with various liquors. My understanding is that Devil's Foot is a soft drink company and is branching out. It's on Sweeten Creek right next to the on ramp for 240W. They weren't busy at all but I think it's just due to being a little off the beaten path. They have a small stage that appeared to be set up for karaoke and they also have a ping pong table. I will definitely go back. I'm anxious to see how they utilize the space.

I work with Mosaic Realty, and we hosted a number of fundraisers for local nonprofits at The Mule in 2023. The staff was great to coordinate with, and the space was perfect for hosting our groups. The drinks were tasty, parking was plentiful, and the atmosphere was friendly to bringing along the kids and dog. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I've seen this business rise within the startup community- via awards and events over the last several years. The progress, product line , quality of product and staff are all stellar as is the space on Sweeten Creek road. The tour was eye opening about the amount of product they are producing + plus it tasted awesome! The space itself was inviting yet hidden from the road...(psst...look for the picture of the Mule and you've found it)

Yelp
An absolute gem of a place. New-ish to the area. I love the location- not downtown but close enough with ample parking. Easy to get to and easy to stay. Due to an event, staff behind the bar were slammed with people and there were only two of them there. But they hustled. And they were helpful and friendly and positive all three hours I was there. Cheers What started as a delightful soda company turned into a giant community space and classy cocktail (and beer etc) spot. They have plenty of games and even boast a BBQ pop up. With veggie options (portobello let's goooo). So my favorite thing they do (thus far) is offer quality mocktails for $5. I don't like to drink every night but I am super social so this is perfect for me. They are light and refreshing. The chai one was suggested to me and I loved it. The margarita was nice but but bit sweet (for me). I'd love to try them all. As well as their actual cocktails. I hope they have a band in here sometimes during the summer as it would be a stellar space for that. I also would totally bring a group in here as they have a great environment overall. Cheers to this spot!

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. What a nice space it's open and lit. The bar is so cool. The whole place is made out of reclaimed wood. The devil's foot ginger beer is fantastic love the fuego. The menu has a lot of options. The service was friendly and fast.

Yelp
The Mule is Asheville's new hidden gem! I love stopping in here for a late afternoon beverage while I finish up work. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is beautiful and airy. The beverages are delightful and refreshing. And of course I stock up on the best crafts sodas ever while I'm there. I have a new bar crush... on The Mule. I hear they have plans for a sweet new outdoor space for spring time and I'm here for it!
